hello happy hour as some of our viewers named it last time yeah we have a proper
name for this new segment there's gonna be a new segment with me here as well
yes this is actually take two so quakes probably gonna try and say that he's a
pro at this now so moving on its birthday tomorrow he doesn't have a card
for me so he decided he's gonna make a card for me but I haven't ik but I had
to be in the video to help who make the card it's less romantic he he gets
queued us for making it but not sure about the cute as fat I have to help him
make it I think you should have had hanussen here to help him make it but
Hannah gets to do the descriptions and get you some fabrics plus she's gonna
put a special coupon code in that description for you as well thanks
family so thank you so he's selected his stamp set yes how about you got an idea
how selected his techniques for a class that he did not making is cool that you
have a technique in mind yeah and you learned some things from the first time
like don't get your deactivator in your whisky yes yes I found out last time
yeah so we're not going to do that do that when you get this baggy thing
you'll find out what it's for later in the end don't whiz it around don't play
with it yeah yeah you end up with powder
everywhere and then it gets in your whisky yeah so we should perhaps explain
what we're doing technique what should I explain you should explain it so what
I'm gonna do this is an idea was presented in one of the training courses
I did a crazy evasion which is couple weeks ago coming what course it was
the dark room door darkened or yes it was their idea not mine
and essentially just take a pretty stamp we're gonna use this big flowery one at
the bottom here which I quite like so we're gonna use that but rather than
inking on there we're going to put a diesel on there put that on the paper
and boss on the adhesive and then use watercolor markers to kind of brush
across that and the markers are going to put their ink into the paper but not on
the emboss surface so it like leaves behind an outline of the flower resist
resist so we're cool okay so we're gonna do some resisting bossing in Kings okay
alright so we're gonna start with a misty put the paper in put the stampy
thingy on what size to cut it to five inches that's our piece of paper and
this is water cone we press compass what's cold fish so you get cold pressed
hot press Hanna did try to explain the difference to me I can't remember the
difference but basically these depends what texture you end up with on your
paper so this is sort of semi smooth and a semi bobbly than the other side the
more bibley side is the side you're gonna stamp on okay I really like this
new texture it's a tonic are now doing it in a to size we don't have to buy a
pattern that's American aid to not push you say to karat British say to is also
a paper size but huge um but what it means is what I used to is might be pads
of paper and I said haven't cut down but now I just have these which is kind of
cool okay easy stuff so just a bit I dunno but i use a mystery we're gonna
put down there you put these magnets kind of roughly in the corners yeah
although he broke my magnet earlier so now he has to hot
broke the magnet we're doing take two because I messed up the sound
and then I also I have in here a laminated sheet so if he stomps over the
edge it's easy to clean up the other thing sometimes I do these are the bits
of paper that you get when you get misty sometimes I also put an easy clean map
but I have I have those cut down to size through those sticky match know what's
needed clean matter from yeah so I have these but I have them cut down to size
in my Misti I just can't reach it right here I have these cut down to Misti size
and then they're really easy to clean and then I can throw all sorts of
mediums and alcohol inks and that kind of stuff and then I also have the sticky
sheet saying and handle make sure there's a link in that top right so I'm
sure she's giggling she's watching this video right so then we take our stamp
and you put your stamp you side down position it wherever you want
yep and we're using the old new dearest friend stamp set that flips over there
and now we need to do the funny dusting that you don't want in your whisky over
here and put the gluey thingy on there like in any particular
order do you see that we put on here does that ever set on its own it does so
you gotta hurry up a little bit reasonably um you want to put your
anti-static stuff down first and then you can either get that in a brush form
or you can get it in the pillow form you can get pillows like this get in the
brush form well the only reason I like this is you lays down more I used this
when I'm working on black or if I'm using if I'm working like real black and
I don't want anything left behind then I use a dryer sheet but notice earlier
when you did it you ended up with those they do have here's one I made earlier
he ended up with some like little speckles around and that's because you
didn't put enough static down and you're working on white so no one's gonna see
the anti-static afterward so you really want to be quite generous you kind of
what up what's happening here so the powder is supposed to come out of the
bag
like you don't want quarter-inch thick coating but you also like there's a
happy medium a lot of time I got it all over the desk this time and this is a
bit more contained do you have some we're getting this off okay mr. Pitts
right okay so that's that done now we're gonna use these some of these these an
embossing pad and this is literally adhesive in an ink so it's a glue ink
and there are tons out of this we used to only have one option it was called
Versamark I hated it but it was our only option there are now tons of options out
there and I kind of have a top-three again there's a video Hannah if you want
to look at my reviews and I my top three are Nouveau and I really like kind of
the spongy one and that's the one that Gregg will be using today yes I also
like the old movie I really like the ink they put inside my kind of pet peeve
with it is that the lid doesn't stay on properly so I have to put an elastic
band around it but the ink inside of it is really nice just points out look so
I'm gonna close like and then all right we get it the link this is at least an
elastic band it's easy there's an engineered solution lasting the other
one I really really like is the while embossing and the one thing I'm going to
tell you about that is because it's a slow drying format you can start inking
is done is a slow drying formula so there's a couple of reasons why I like
that firstly you don't have to work super fast and so if you want to do like
ombre embossing and stuff that's really cool the second reason of that is for us
mums who have three-year-olds or husbands who come in in the middle of
our crafting I want to interrupt and I like but I need something you can go
away you can do one you can go and deal with whatever they need and then you can
come back and your embossing ink it's still going to be wet so they are my top
three if you're looking for an embossing ink it's really difficult to see I love
out the corner Maya so they are my top three that I would
recommend it for everyone I know will put links to the description below for
you my general go-to always does all my
links for me I'm very grateful that Hannah doesn't my links for me she will

tonic coupon for our head traveler followers but my go-to tends to be the
tonic claim like I really just like you'll notice when you were inking just
then it has a little bit sponginess to it and I find that just gives me a
really nice impression alright so I seem to have but the thing you have to
remember is that bit it's actually that bit it's the opposite of what you think
it is I could work that out yes thank you
PhD in engineering I'm pretty sure I can get that bit right anyway we're also
drinking Russian caravan team we did explain this in the first video but Greg
messed up the sound so that's not that I didn't I start to tea though the tea's
really good yes so we okay it's cliche but we love our tea and we have tried to
buy Russian caravan tea in America we've tried so many different places we can't
find it so Greg's parents every time they come they come with bags and bags
of tea for us we have smoked tail bray and russian caravan this particular tea
comes from HR Egan's in london which is the actual tea suppliers in between as I
thought amazing who also make and it's not a job begins it's HR hicking HR
Egan's my uni makes tea and coffee he can see the beginning yeah this one
empty I went to a posh school he went to a party school near Arabs in it
right so now we're going to emboss so this is sprinkling of the powder and
making mess okay are we using Boyd Boyd we're using black embossing powder oh
well yes we should talk about this again so you can use any color embossing
powder you want you can use metallics you can use whites you can use clears on
Greg's original you used white yep you use what
Greg's just elected this evening to use black I'm gonna do the same thing every
time you can also use clear I know some fun things you can do with clear is you
could use a colored cardstock and then use metallic pen over the top you could
color first the background using a light watercolor pen so you could go like with
a light pink then you could do clear embossing and then you could go over
with a darker color or another color and you would then have a two-tone because
the clear would show through the original color you had and then you put
another color on top he is also using a fine embossing powder I like working in
general with ultra fine as much as I can because it gives me a really nice
detailed image particularly if I'm coloring not you I mean not all colors
come in ultra fine I mean in general I tend to work with black white clear gold
silver copper and then keep them in these little Tupperware's I have a
command clip in the top and my pink ice cream soon I did especially find pink
ice cream spoon to use with them because I add to the bility or anything good
they come in like I found somewhere that stops pink or any color that you might
happen to want in your craft room again Hannah will ensure you have links to
pink ice cream screens should you want those for you all I've done there is lay
some ink down and then we've just pause powder over the top of it so if I was to
touch that it would rub off very easily yes it and then these are called tidy
trays are a special funnel type tray which I just think really neat and they
may and I've got some residue on here so I
just flick it and I am and of course Craig does over the bin a really good
job okay so there was like some residue on there you and I could see it but now
it's quite clean anywhere that you didn't yet so you know you now used a
lot more static than last time you don't have yes there's a much clearer picture
where is if you do have any extra you can just take a paintbrush and just like
hear that okay so now we're gonna burn that off melt it whatever
what's this thing called embossing heat embossing yes okay this is just a big
powerful hairdryer yeah but don't use a hairdryer because a hairdryer has a much
higher heat flow and it's not hot so hairdryer just blow me around yeah so
just flirt away so this doesn't blow very hard but it gets really hot
fingers

she really inspects my work doesn't is he looking for defects and errors and
things do this with my heat embossing - the worst thing is when you heat emboss
something and then you put some water it's hot and then you put water on it
and it all blows away and I have to say he's really improved from his original
heat embossing that had like a lot of like show you that so this was take one
and the reason so could you put more of these Pouncy tolling these whiskey don't
you have to tell nobody needed to know
doesn't matter I'm not sure you can see they need to I don't think you can
really see but there's some tiny little one looks murky and one looks very clear
yeah this one here for instance I don't know if you can really see but there's
some little bits of residue and it's not quite as clear image and this one's
clear and that's because of the correct use of the dusty stuff now I had to use
that dusty stuff it's cornflour and stuff you can find recipes on youtube to
make your own if you want to I thoroughly recommend just buying one
I've seen people make them and make big disasters out of them they're not like
expensive there are a few dollars or you can buy them and still make a big
disaster out of them that's something we've proved not ten minutes ago right
but having my whiskey without weird powder in a weird weird powder in it new
whiskey okay okay so you can do a trial on your original one oh yeah that's true
so this is the yeah this is no such a clear image and what we're gonna do so I
should tell you he stole Hannah's misty bag and why them
that's mine oh sorry Hanna three stolen Hanna's misty back then she won at the
Brutus phone our own Christmas party hang on okay but when I was a creative
Asian I won the bag of something from somebody yeah I gave that to me well you
give your bag Hanan and own it yours and then everything's quick right so he's
stolen Hanna's misty bag he's taken a full set of tools and supplies and he
now has his own misty bag I had to go out today to buy c'mon totes for him to
hang his misty bags all because he was decided he needs his own space and he
can't use the whole array of simple scissors I've got a bone folder I've got
a craft pick do you know I know this stuff is I've got foam tape
distress ink I've got my some ideas tape runner in that I have to say I'd say
when I did the class creative Asian it was the first time that I've ever used
nan Tim Holtz's and I don't know what brand they were they're just ones that
he gave us to use and actually it became really apparent how much better
high-quality scissors are compared to cheap ones and we also use some cheap
sticky back foam adhesive where you stick it between layers to get a bit of
depth and the cheap stuff you cut it up into a square about a centimeter square
and it just disintegrated into like a mushy sticky mess at all whereas the
better stuff that you use you can cut very nice thin small squares and it
still retains its structural integrity
so we are gonna use some liquid water colors and gravy ones we're using I'll
turn you on so I'll turn you so far for at least two sets they coordinate
perfectly with their inks so if you are a coordination junkie like I am then you
can get these two sets they have a yellow color on them when they
scum so what you do is you just unscrew that take that yellow color off screw
this back on again and off you go and so to get them started breaks can I
demonstrate how not to do it but all you do is you just give it a light squeeze
and the it comes down the barrel and off you go now there are a couple of
different techniques to using liquid water colors and a lot of people do use
them directly from the pen and you totally can do that however you will
find they're super vibrant if you do that I should add you can do that so
this is very different to how I did this in the training course with straightened
or not how I use okay cuz this isn't giving me the effect that I laughter
really it's not personally how I like to do them okay I like to when I do so take
a paint brush what color do you like best
I'm sorry I should point out I'm making your birthday card for tomorrow so which
color do you like best whatever you choose darling okay
whatever I do is gonna be wrong I don't know I kind of wanted more of a pinky
ponky well these are Reds red well you could
also use some of the liquid watercolors off the wall if you prefer the second
shelf up is pretty much yes that's a spray not I know this just sticks what
we doing cuz otherwise it'll end up in the well that's alcohol ink the second
shelf that one like there the liquid watercolors Daleks shimmery liquid water
colors they're Brutus Monroe liquid watercolors and then you've also got the
pink fresh ones in the back glass bottle up there there's a pink
that's a really nice pick that one what's this lovely color purple so this
is this more like how I did it on the thing which is where you put someone you
make a bit of a mess and put it on the platform and then you pick it up with
one of those that water or I could trust you with my yeah don't never go this so
joyless we just pump that on here over here in your pallet area tear open the
bottle no so simple is it so you just do a dip dab of that on there okay but
that's the same thing I would do if I was gonna work with these I know what
with these in the pen I squeeze them and then I do that and I grab some water and
then I okay so I'm going to try that I'm gonna use this because this is what I
used last time so I just wish that around a bit well
you're not gonna add some water out of here
mmm what is water yeah you've got a practice piece first so I'm gonna smear
that about and that's basically made to be pink kind of mission okay but the
other thing you gonna find this is regular cardstock this is watercolor so
that's gonna look a bit different so that's much more of a pink you know
that's definitely pink like that okay so I'm gonna go to that my hair kind of
pink yeah matches doesn't it okay
well I used to want a guitar that matched your eyes if you remember when
we go to PRS custom 24 gorgeous and then later when I realized I had no musical
town whatsoever and couldn't play at all so kind of so we're not doing odds new
watercolor markers so the next thing he wants to do is he wants to do a gel
press now I don't done much with the gel pens I did do a
video ages and ages ago if you want to see some basics with the Jeffress so we
will investigate that and then we're also going to do a video on adhesives
because I realize I haven't covered adhesives for a long time and there are
tons more out there I also got a ton creative ation that I haven't really
played with so we're gonna have a play around with those and do some other
things with those as well so that's kind of the effect I was going for
so you see you keep your hand at the same angle so I sort of brush this at
about 45 degrees and don't worry about kind of coloring everything or getting
even color in fact that not even color is sort of the point so you get that a
little bit more interest if it was all just one shade of pink it would be kind
of boring in a bit weird nothing that was quite nice
you prefer the black version you look better with white there's quite punchy
you like me yeah so so do it now on the actual one I'm just doing exactly the
same thing I put way too much ink down I mean you put way too much ink down
this is also really really easy you don't have to be zero artistic talent is
what he's trying to say I mean
just a little bit more pink oh yeah so I've just done the same sort
of thing again and you see it's not a clean even color there's light patches
dark patches that's sort of the point
yeah very easy okay yeah let's clean up and then this come back and there's
mount this up and how are you gonna clean your brush with your rinse well I
didn't I just squirted some also over well you should talk about the rinse
well because you like oh this is really cool okay it's also about sure nobody
can see did you always tell me so this thing go rinse well it's a really clever
little idea it's great for cleaning brushes so you dab your brush in here
you have a little pool of clean water so you can use and then just sort of brush
up on the edge and kind of clean it as best you can
could you put that put some kitchen roll stuff and then once your water gets all
dirty you push this button here well that water drains away and out of this
container it just refills itself with another kind of centimeter of clean
water bits on the bottom to help you clean
well if you've got Mike and stuff in your brush or like helps you clean it
it also has areas for you to put your brush in so that your fibers don't get
kind of gummed up and then it stores all your dirty water in the bottom so I
think it's pretty cool and if you're on the move you can get extra ones of these
to fill whatever idea because anytime you're painting you always end up with
having to constantly change your water and with that you just push the button
and you change your water constantly and have clean water that's about it fine
okay so we've all cleaned up we've got our sample with our backup sample and so
this bits gonna be four inches by five standard sizes and you already have a
card base cut and scored this one oh these are great so these are pre-cut and
pre-scored so it's already got a fold in the center there she literally just bend
it zoom or edit that out
you actually just bend it over you don't need to measure anything or fast about
put gently folding that I don't need a bone folder do you need your folder what
you insisted on having your own yeah this is a bone folder Teflon bone folder
basically a piece of plastic with a rounded off edge and it's great for
doing this and if you use one of these firstly if you got grubby fingers or
inky fingers or whatever you don't have to worry about any of that and secondly
it puts loads of pressure right where it's needed gives you see very nice neat
fault so that's not kind of springing up its properly well folded
however properly well properly well folding right in it
however when you're in a mount up you should never mount up as a car fold like
that because this is always kind of stringy she always
it out such a flat flat and then you mount on that you do that right so now
I'm going to stick this on here oh
you're one of those you know when I build things he lasts like a hundred
years and when I'm mounting things up you only need to worry about three edges
right yes so as long as all three edges are even the rest away well we - no
pressure

I look down into that it says happy birthday which is what's a stupid man

attention you're supposed to be the professional I would highly recommend HR
Egan's Higgins HR weakens tea and coffee something rather in London
it's new Selfridges if anyone's looking for it so what are you doing there this
one's harder because like a lot of sentiments dance is like a line so I
could line line but because this is like a script T one it's a little bit harder
it's okay I'm working on it just trying to see through the tears okay
I'm sure you'll cope do
so the tip there that I was trying to see through the tears is if you line
like this the a the P the P the Y and then the birthday if you line it up
against the edge of your misty corner thank you that's gross misty corner and
then if you take like the edge of spatula you can hold down the stamp why
do you put away you misty corner and then you can click onto your lid and
it's straight I should explain from an engineering perspective any sort of
adhesive is all about surface area so if you use a sharp edge of anything it's
going tiny surface area across that edge just tell them how to do it they don't
need to understand why if there's any engineers watching they will want to
understand the wire and the wire is due to the tiny surface area of the straight
edge like if you just as well use a knife you know just tell them how to
brush so why are we using this or we just picked a plaque it's one of my
favorites I either use this or MFT extreme black MFT my favorite things
people gonna know that but we using the genic a amalgam so you said this ink is
your favor yes it's black ink so how do you have a
favor of black ink so I thank these two because a that's
really intense black and there is a difference between black like some are
blacker than others and the reason I know that they're blacker than others is
because the scanning cut picks them up really well okay so it's the intensity
of the color yes that's one thing the second one is the fact that they're both
hybrid next question so it means that I can use watercolor and alcohol markers
and Nuvo mousses and any basically any coloring item I want to any current
won't to work and I don't have to think about it and I can mix between them in
the same project whereas if I want you to color with watercolors back before
hybrid inks existed I always had to use a solvent based ink and if I wanted to
color with alcohol markers I used to have to use a water-based ink if I was
halfway through a cutting and I was kind my copics I'm like oh but I want to add
a little bit of watercolor I couldn't do that that you had to use one of two
particular types of ink depending on what you were doing and never the two
shall meet exactly then hybrid inks came along as a piece of technology available
and allowed you to use whatever you want so if that being the case then why don't
you just have a hybrid inks for everything and that's it because things
like distressing it's a really cool because they react with water and
sometimes you want them try okay so hybrid inks work great for everything
when you just want to ink something yes you now use those two specialist inks
deliberately to blend and mahkum up and do stuff so when you when you
deliberately want them to reacts there are some hybrid inks that blend nicely
in general most hybrid inks don't learn nicely because they're deliberately
engineered not to yes
and Gina Kay is about to release an amalgam ink that's for no line coloring
but that's a whole nother video that's drawing no it's not that's a whole
nother video and I'm really excited about it and we will do a video on it
and I'm really excited about that too so it's a really light colored ink so when
you color in you don't see the outline of the image your coloring creates the
outline but so you stamp an image like that fresh it doesn't actually show up
it shows up really fine so then I would color the flower and my coloring creates
the outline just being black it would be like a really fine line be very fine
it's not black your color it's the outline I'll show you a picture later
makes perfect so people watching will understand okay family you get no idea
but I'm sure Jenny um you know Jenny who we met creative ation
right she created a really cool sample for tonic with no line coloring for the
show it's already cool those samples with gorgeous actually there's so many
of the metonic booth oh we made some of the design mistake that said we you made
some of the design team I didn't make any and the design team made low that
they were gorgeous they were really really lovely basic you know like when
you have a real watercolor painting you know the guy doesn't sit and draw
something and then coloring the watercolor itself creates the outline so
this is what happens when you work with beginners the expert teaching the
beginner screws up fast oh you don't line it up again as well so
yeah you know how like when someone's water coloring it doesn't look like
there's an outline it just looks out line you just see the painting the
painting creates the drawing that's what it is
spend if you go and buy a hot fudge sundae I didn't well you're gonna like
drive across the street to get me one
why are you so obsessed with this horse was I really fancied one and he wouldn't
go the other day he was across the street from McDonald's and I'm like when
you go and get me a hot fudge sundae while you're there and he's like oh it's
across the street that's it that's better now just do that
way off is it always this difficult no these are particular cause he used crows
a script you stamp no perhaps I should have done that but this is the B easiest
way to line up now I can say I think I got to get quite a good angle I moved
yeah I shouldn't have trimmed it as quite a lady
everything you put down all right so we need to relink and it's really worth it
for the sake of like a tiny little yes
do you stop shoving we have the way no need to react that's not very good print
anybody out there think that that's like especially bad because that's me just
looks fine that's what I normally do for some reason I was trying to be tightly
see what happens when I tried to be tidy that's why I'm not tidy no it's just
because you're a beginner of being tidy
practice yeah practice makes perfect
don't you think she might have some okay so you're just leaving a little bit more
around the edge so that we don't have to do a third time do you want on the phone
so it has some diamond oh yeah definitely I like it is you put
your own phone start stealing mine
and this is the good fun isn't it this is a lot better than the stuff that
that's a really good idea
oh you saw the bits oh oh yeah I never think their eyes to use your cast I'll
just peel off a new bass that's a top tip right there okay can I borrow your
scissors please Oh use your own we lost you you'd be like no you can use your
own Oh fine gear is why you always tell me stop being so lazy and use your own
impulses these are really good except you don't need you just use that base
the perfect size because I've just been on there too long I know it's stuck down
okay so I didn't realize so these basically seasonal okay it lasts for
about a week oh what a minute yeah it works really well but you so what you
should always do is keep your roller tape stuff nice and clean on both sides
because any bit you peel off is just no that works perfectly but Greg left it on
there for about three weeks because the adhesive on it cures what doesn't it
cure when it's on the roller type so it sticks to itself but it doesn't stick to
its own tape offer up first
kind of upset is there any way of like lining this up before I stick it down do
you have a tool set square it might be easier now - yeah it's all this is a
sticky back foam adhesive but gigas too good sticky back foam adhesive because
otherwise it turns into a big mush when you try and tell you there are 3m big
rolls and it comes in like a big it's called a Big Momma roll I personally
would highly recommend the 3m cuz I've shared in them I mean no get whatever
you like or the tonic squares again Hannah will add you some links you don't
you big squares and you can get small squares and that works really well
oh yeah and then are you gonna add gems yes you're gonna add red hots to a pink
card yeah that was my original intention pink no no red and pink don't go
together it's lucky that I put my tonic box just to the side isn't it alright we
don't need back the whole box that's rose gold you've got these two drops
well you just got crystalline once you could put them in like the center of the
flowers mmm would you like the tray to put them in absolutely to come on okay
that's a really good idea I just had I think I'm gonna
I'm gonna stick one of these in the sense of each of the flowers so in here
these new tonic gems you have get three sizes in the box no better with a white
underneath so it should like the pink underneath well if you use Nouveau drops
underneath you could make them any color underneath and then it shines through
funk a Nouveau drop on there I would rather you White's not on to my car yeah
let's go let's practice that right so let's put this to one side and then
what's this this is dream drops this is the new one so it's iridescent I'm going
so I'm just gonna put a blob in the middle of this flower up a little
squelch okay so this is gonna dry white
iridescent so what we're hoping is that we get a bit of brightness from shining
through there this is a crystal katana so it picks up a gem it just has a
little bit okay so that so that is acting as an adhesive yes and whatever
color you put underneath these particular gems so these are see-through
gems on these and they've got like an iridescent II kind of oily color to them
mm-hmm and this is a really cool little tray because as I tap this tray all the
right way up which I just think is really cool still
can't work out how it works this is just a plastic toy isn't it to
do with the angle of the edge apparently yeah no I watch the video know if you
can see but every single one of these gems is now the correct way up and all
we've done is all we've done is tap them on the little thing but this is like
just slightly tacky okay it just allows you to pick up a German won't be the
other way of doing this just put some of this down how else could do that so just
using normal yeah you could use any colour Nouveau drop and it was showing
through so you could use that the brand new glitter drops you could use like a
bright pink on the bright pink would strain through or you could use your
deluxe adhesive a bit of pink pink mm just a way to subscribe cool I used to
buy like every color gem going now I buy
anyway so what color goes with pink blue let's try something yeah cuz these are
all a bit the same yeah something that's a bit contrasting you got a blue marine
blue yes thank you do you notice how when I do a car making tutorial with you
it takes forever when I do want to make on that
yeah alright it's like blue down there and you're about to hit your time they
met again Oh
blue down yeah you need a tiny dot but yeah alright
record so here you can immediately see the blue pops out and the other two that
we did up here you can see them definitely but they're far more subtle
because the color behind the gem is same as the background but at Ballou I like
that I'm gonna do that another one make you step on me again
okay so know I said this wasn't really gonna be an hour
it kind of is an hour yeah Thank You Reverend from if you stuck with us thank
you yes now you can see what card-making is like I know my tutorials are a lot
quicker but you'll you literally want a tiny dot yeah yeah sticky stuff so if
you're ever in a pinch Nuvo drops make a great adhesive top tip as crystal
accents as glitter accents as does pretty much like any of the glossy
accents like they do all the glitter glue Stickles all that kind of stuff
makes good good adhesive
you don't squelching either I don't squatching either but i do want
it to completely fill the yeah put it in a syringe next time like measuring oh
look at that Oh perfect
second one look at that you see I've got the perfect amount of blue to completely
fill the backside of that but no scratching at all yeah
sound of that so there we go you can immediately see the two gems on there I
think that pops quite nicely so you put one in the middle of that big flowers
well actually perhaps I put smaller ones in there this Jeremy picking up tall is
relative oh yeah oh that one perfect as well yeah
another big one same as though what's up Oh small one there are these three sizes
up to oh yeah three sizes so I want
okay any other detail get you a new chair I'm gonna give you a instant dry
Nuvo drops so in those like little fuzzies pretty I think this is coming
together nicely considering this is my first ever design so okay the angular
pinkie calorie thing there's a techniques so Nouveau drops normally
take forever to dry this is a really easy way to get Nouveau drops so if you
teach classes if you live somewhere that's incredibly humid and it takes
forever for them to dry this is also and this is also great if you're making
cards in box too so all you do is use some more tea what you do is you squirt
out some Nouveau drop I've got some here on my glass mat just a little blob and
then I take a bottle this is the floral set and what I do is I touch my bottle
in incentives okay so it's just a different way of applying that rather
than applying your straight out of the thing you just make a dog love it which
is just our shop it's just a blob on the thing and then you just pick it up but
it's just the same size as your regular Nouveau drop yeah but it's gonna dry in
say ten minutes oh so it really does take a bit of time well if you put some
heat on it it dry faster well so at normal Nouveau drop would probably take
a couple of hours to dry oh really so if you would like squirt one on I
know like the normal Nouveau drops I put on a card they take a couple of hours to
do I'm gonna do is I'm going to put a couple of little gems on a cup of those
but not all of them but this is a really good tip because you can do it with any
size of these four things and this it doesn't come in this little case this is
a case that you get six different you got a pair of tweezers and you get a
little foam mat and it's designed for making flowers which I do do too and I
do all sorts of fun things with it but it's also great for applying like
instant Nuvo drops that are gonna dry in like a couple of minutes and these ones
you can add heat to because they're so thin like if you apply heat to them
they're not going to crack or do any of those things because they're just really
thin and easy so there's a top tip for instant Nuvo drops cuz I like the just
plain Nuvo drop as well so that yeah that's close to the camera as okay so we
got a little bit of shimmer in there we've got some lovely blues and those
blues really have like they really catch some light nicely and I think they
contrast nicely against the pink and then you've got the black embossed
outline which was a not distress a resist so that we cut it over and the
black border and the black ink on the sentiment I think matches up with the
black and box things mostly as well
so you can write that letter and then the great thing about this is it's
really easy to have a sticky lid thing
