1 position in the Porsche Race to Shenzhen on Monday. Kvitova has defeated Hsieh Su-wei in straight sets in all of their three previous meetings

Their most recent encounter was in the round of 16 at the Sydney International earlier this year, which Kvitova won 7-6(2), 6-2

"Definitely [Hsieh is] a tough and tricky opponent," Kvitova told the press, following her quarterfinal win over Viktoria Kuzmova

"I played her in Sydney in a really tough match. Will be probably some rallies tomorrow, and I need to be ready for every shot what she's going to bring to the game

" Two-time defending Dubai champion Elina Svitolina and Belinda Bencic have only played once before, at Charleston in 2014, which Bencic won in three sets

Bencic improved to 15-15 against Top 10 players with her quarterfinal upset of World No

2 Simona Halep, which came one day after her victory over World No.9 Aryna Sabalenka

These are the first back-to-back Top 10 wins for Bencic since 2015 Tokyo, where she beat No

8 Garbiñe Muguruza in the quarterfinals and No.6 Caroline Wozniacki in the semifinals, before falling to No

13 Agnieszka Radwanska in the final. Hsieh also claimed back-to-back Top 10 wins in the last two rounds, eliminating No

7 Angelique Kerber in the round of 16 and No.5 Karolina Pliskova in the quarterfinals

Those were Hsieh's fourth and fifth career Top 10 wins -- three of those coming in the first two months of this season

Former doubles World No.1 Hsieh is also still active in the doubles draw, paired with Barbora Strycova

Hsieh reached the Dubai final last year partnering Peng Shuai. Chan Hao-ching was one of the women who beat Hsieh and Peng in the doubles final last year (partnering Yang Zhaoxuan)

Chan and her sister Latisha will now face Hsieh and Strycova in the semifinals. Please enable Javascript to watch this videoTopics: dubaidubai duty free tennis championshipsorder of playmatch pointspetra kvitova

Meghan Fashion - Meghan Markle pictured in New York ahead of lavish baby shower – full details - Duration: 3:28.

The Duchess of Sussex stayed true to her American roots by heading across the pond to see 15 of her closest friends for the US tradition

She flew over to New York on Friday for the five-day trip, ahead of the birth of her baby in April or May

And today Meghan's closest pals are throwing her a baby shower at an Upper East Side hotel

With Meghan seven months pregnant, it is one of the last times she will see her friends before the royal baby arrives

Meghan attempted to go undercover in a flat cap as she stepped out with a royal protection officer

But the mother-to-be's glittering engagement ring was on display as Meghan made her way to the car, giving her away

The 37-year-old wrapped up in a long navy blue coat and she carried another hat and two bags

She left Prince Harry at home, with the Duke of Sussex having a number of royal engagements booked

The former actress's best friend Jessica Mulroney is thought to be organising the lavish baby shower for Meghan

Other friends of the duchess who could be attending include tennis player Serena Williams, model and actress Priyanka Chopra, long-time college friend Lindsay Roth, designer Misha Nonoo, brand consultant Benita Litt and Meghan's former Suits co-stars Sarah Rafferty and Abigail Spencer

A source told US magazine Harper's Bazaar: "The trip is a lovely chance to catch up with friends and spend time in a city she loves

"This will be the last time a lot of them will see Meg until after the baby is born so it's nice to share precious moments

"It's been a relaxing visit. Nothing beats face time with your friends. Meg will be flying home refreshed and relaxed - and with a lot of new baby clothes

" Meghan and Ms Mulroney were spotted out together tucking into macarons at Ladurée in Soho on Saturday

The pair struck up a close friendship when Meghan was based in Toronto, Canada, to film US legal drama Suits

Meghan spent a romantic evening with Harry the night before she left for America

The pair celebrated their first Valentine's Day as a married couple after the prince and travelled to Norway to meet British troops

And on Saturday, the parents-to-be will head to Morocco for a three-day visit.
