For those who need a refresher, The World's Best, CBS' new hit talent show, features contestants from all over the world who will get a chance to showcase their talents and battle it out to become "the world's best" and take home one million dollars.

The CBS competition, which is hosted by James Corden, will be judged by Drew Barrymore, RuPaul Charles and Faith Hill.

The contestant aim to impress the judges and break through the "wall of the world," which is made up of over 50 entertainment experts from around the world, according to International Business Times.

The experts offer feedback to the contestants and help decide who will move forward in the competition.

The American judges score each act from 1 to 50, and their scores are averaged.

Each approving expert gets one point, and the combined scores are added up, with 75 needed to advance.

Manami Ito vs. Daneliya Tuleshova.

It will be the end of the road for one of these amazing performers.

Manami Ito, the "Miracle Violinist," left several of the world experts in tears while she performed.

The American judges showered her in compliments, calling her a "humbling, inspiration," and marveling at her passion and will to succeed.

She was also tearfully told how she is a daily reminder of what we all are – "perfectly imperfect," by one of the Wall of the World judges.

Ito was given an average score of 37 from the American judges, and a total of 60 after the experts voted.

Daneliya Tuleshova, also known as the "Vocal Wonder," had the audience clapping and cheering through her entire performance.

With the voice of a much older musician, she left the judges breathless and complimenting the young lady with comments like "the birth of a child superstar," and "mature, powerful and grounding." The American judges gave her an average score of 44 and the experts brought her score up to 71.

The Vocal Wonder snagged the win, and will be going on to compete in the championship round!.

Lydian Nadhaswaram vs. Enkh-Erdene.

The battle begins TONIGHT.

Who will survive? #TWBLydian "The Mini Maestro" or #TWBEnkh "The Mongolian Cowboy"? #WorldsBest pic.twitter.com/o6bNtioauf   — The World's Best (@WorldsBestCBS) February 20, 2019  .

Nadhaswaram's fingers were on fire, and although his piano piece was short and sweet, he nonetheless made an impression on the judges and audience.

He followed up his performance with a blindfolded rendition of Mozart's "Turkish March," which left the judges speechless and received an explosive response from the audience.

The judges called him a "perfect gentleman" with incredible talent (the word 'incredible' was used frequently), and gave the "Mini Maestro" an average score of 43.

The world experts brought his score up to 74.

Enkh-Erdene, the "Mongolian Cowboy," says he "isn't here to lose," and although he mentioned how talented Nadhaswaram's performance was (which left him a little nervous), he came on stage with some country heat.

His low, dulcet tones matched Josh Turner's beautifully while singing "Your Man," which even grabbed a comment from one of the experts on how "sexy" his voice is.

Enkh-Erdene snagged an average score of 45 from the American judges, which led to a 64 after the experts weighed in, putting him behind Nadhaswaram by 10 and inevitabley sending him home.

The Mini Maestro will be going on to the next round to keep fighting for "the world's best" title!.

Sister Cristina Scuccia vs.

Dimash Kudaibergen.

Only one of these vocal powerhouses will make it through the Battle Round.

Will it be #TWBDimash or #TWBSisterCristina? #WorldsBest pic.twitter.com/ZjoGmiiDon   — The World's Best (@WorldsBestCBS) February 20, 2019  .

Sister Cristina Scuccia, otherwise known as "The Singing Nun," performed a beautiful, slower version of Madonna's "Like a Virgin," surrounded by hundreds of candles on a raised platform, drawing plenty of cheers from the audience and "chills" from some of the Wall of the World experts.

Some of the judges feedback included how impressed they were that she was "bringing the church back into the 21st century." She garnered an average score of 35 from the American judges, and the experts brought her score up to a 39.

"The Six Octave Man" Dimash Kudaibergen brought the house down with a powerful rendition of Celine Dion's "All By Myself," which brought the judges to their feet.

His wide range of vocals and intense stage presence received an explosive response from the audience and judges alike, with comments on how "impossible it is to describe" his gift and "a star is born." Kudaibergen earned an average score of 48 from the American judges, and the experts brought his score up to 94.

The Six Octave Man reeled in the most points by a landslide, and will be continuing on to the next round!.

Justin Flom vs. Jordan McKnight.

They don't call him the King of Cards for no reason.

What does #TWBJustin have up his sleeve for the Battle Rounds? Get ready for two hours of the The #WorldsBest next Wednesday! pic.twitter.com/Eha4QpLb27   — The World's Best (@WorldsBestCBS) February 16, 2019  .

Flom, the "King of Cards," blew judge Drew Barrymore away with his smoking card trick before moving on to the other judges with an impressive (and slightly disturbing) neck trick.

All three judges were amazed by his tricks, and the Wall of the World experts were just as shocked and impressed.

He was able to snag an average of 45 from the American judges and an 80 altogether.

Jordan McKnight has the confidence of 10 contortionists, and the talent to back it up.

[me] Hey Rob!

[me] I'm going over for lunch with a friend

[Rob] You got a new bike?

[me] This one was lent to me

[Rob] This one isnt electric right?

[me] it actually is!

[Rob] oh really?

[me] yeah its the same brand as mine

[Rob] it looks bigger

[me] yup and higher

[Rob] pretty sweet!

[me] yeah I like it too! It is rather smooth to handle

[Rob] so you're shooting a video about this one too?

[me] yeah

[Rob] You luck boy

After running into a friend randomly in Paris , I meet with 3 others

to go to the "Vallée de Chevreuse"

It is an ideal spot to try a motorcycle

especially with the road called "17 virages" (17 turns road basically)

For Kevin and Maxime

it is their first time here

the place is magnificent

we drive quite peacefully around

but unfortunately we will soon be witness of an accident

which happened right under our nose

We tried to help as best as we could

Leo had to go to the police to give a testimony

then we slowly headed back to Paris

somewhat in a gloomy mood

The speed at which this occured and the sheer violence

added to the pain /damages the victims had to suffer

can only remind us how important is it to be very careful & of proper equipment

Driving a motorbike can make you feel invincible

it is just far from true..

Leo takes over the "wheel" for a few kilometers

When it comes to me, I really love the driving posture & handling on this DS

it makes me wanna change from my S model to this DS

Regardless of what happened,

we keep heading to Paris to film the video about the bike

Hi it is Gonzague. You might remember that last week

We tried out the Super Soco TC , a small

electric motorbike equivalent to a 50cc

Today we get to try its big sister from

Zero Motorcycles, an american brand

with a few years of experience in electrics

Zero offers several different models of motorbikes

I have the pleasure of owning an S

which is more of a roadster

and today we try

the DS model which is trail oriented

so what will we find to be different ?

tires, mud gard, protection

a few accessories and of course the finish

which is slightly different, the driving position and the heigth of the bike

We can start by looking at the tires

They are Pirelli MT-60

As you can see they dont really have a "road" profile

compared to what is fitted on a S (Diablo Rosso II)

on the low end of the Showa inverted fork,

(so a qualitative component here, Showa is serious business)

you get two plastic protections to prevent gravel and such things from damaging the system

the front breaking system

is made of a single drilled brake rotor

Bosch Gen 9 ABS, asymmetric dual piston floating caliper, 320 x 5 mm disc

from J-Juan, one of the OEMs used by Zero

so of course here this plastic protection mentionned before

Details about the fork : Showa 41 mm inverted cartridge forks, with adjustable spring preload, compression and rebound damping

The mud guard is obviously totally different

from the roadster "S" because the S's one is

really going around & close to the wheel when

here we have loads of space

for rocks or whatever might get stuck in a conventionnal guard

so it'll prevent it from exploding :-D

this is - again - for the trail profile

more space, more volume

also less protection against water but that

might not be what the buyer of this bike looks for

Shown here is a windscreen (optional)

which isnt very tighlty adjusted so

it is not very useful in this condition (thats just a minor adjustment to make)

a universal smartphone holder from RAM Mounts

and lets go around the bike

to see what differs from another Zero model)

The foot pegs have much more grip

of course they will

slightly fold up as you can see on pretty much every bike

same goes for the passenger's

Here we have a much needed accessory if you

do not live in California because the design of the rear

will basically insure that you drown if there is any rain as there is almost no protection without it

So it really helps contain any water going to your back (and your a**)

which as you can guess

isnt ideal

The rear tire is 17 inches (Pirelli MT-60 130/80-17)

The front one is 19 inches (Pirelli MT-60 100/90-19)

so a rather large front tyre, thought for trails

There you go for what is specific about this bike

An interesting tidbit for the 2019 models

They have several sizes when it comes to batteries (same goes for the previous generations)

but here it is 14.4 kWh which is big

basically its the biggest capacity available with Zero for the moment

last year's model was hanging around 13.3 kWh

and you can also get a cheaper bike with 7.2 kWh battery (half the capacity)

it is less expensive but as - you guessed - less range

With this one you can expect more range

The previous gen was reaching 200km

without any problems

This one should do 200-240 km of range in the city quite easily

it is rather good in my mind

If you grow an appetite for more range

you can get the Power Tank

a hefty 3520 euros option

which will deprive you of money and of this small tank

which is super useful.Since the bike doesnt run on fuel, it has

this front tank letting you store the charging cable

rain pants, yellow jackets or whatever

I use it to bring my lunch to the office ^^

and it allows you to not carry a bag around

again reallllllly useful

If you get the 7.2 kWh model , you also get *more* storage

because the battery takes half the space of the 14.4kWh

you did the math already : 14.2 /2 ...

so in here you could store 2 bottles of water or of whatever it is that you fancy

This bike

in the shown configuration

(without the windshield)

will set you for 16 120 euros (all taxes included - TTC - France)

This doesnt include any incentive that can apply in your country but still a fair amount of money

So okay you get a decent bike

but you are far from the level of equipment high end motorbikes of similar costs

from competitors doing ICE bikes (Internal Combustion Engine)

you can get a small BMW GS for this budget

which will offer plenty more

including traction control

(deeply missing in my mind on such a torquy machine)

109 Nm of torque

delivered instantly

In situations where grip isnt optimal (snow, rain)

it can turn out dangerous for you

better be prudent

On the matter of power by the way

This Zero (and the other models) has 3 riding modes

Eco (not too much torque +loads of regen braking)

so its a good balance between power, softness and regen

Custom mode that you can personalize through your smartphone

it is convenient you just connect to the bike and

set anything that is of interest to you

you can instantly adjust torque, maximum speed, regen etc

So you can

really make the bike go pretty much as you prefer it

I couldnt live without it to have a proper ride in town or during winter

since you can basically limit anything dangerous

and then you have the Sport mode

it almost disables Regen.Torque and speed are set to the maximum

The acceleration is *strong* to say the least

So its the funniest mode but stay away from it during winter

You can switch modes with the button on the right side of the handlebar

At a full stop or up to a certain speed you can change these modes

I'll switch the bike on so you can see the dash

It is backlit and blue.Perfectly lisible.

The dash is somehow basic. On the left you'll see

how much battery capacity is left

here

You can switch between different informations (odometer , trip 1 , range, etc)

It is currently predicting a remaining range of 112 km

based on how I've been riding lately

Current speed , obviously at 0 right now

Current time , not set

and with the buttons on the side

but not very accessible because of the windshield

you can change what's being displayed.

Sheriffs investigators are looking into Tuesday evening death at John Wayne Airport Los Angeles Ti

One person was killed when a large tire being worked on exploded at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana late Tuesday night, officials said.

Two airport contractors were working on the 4 foot tall jet bridge tire about 11:30 p.m. in a workshop near Gate Three when the tire exploded and caused traumatic injuries to one of the workers, airport spokeswoman Deanne Thompson said.

The victim was identified as Brandon Allison, 37 of Fullerton, according to the Orange County Sheriffs Department. Both contractors were employees of John Bean Technologies.

A jet bridge is the enclosed, movable connector that extends from an airport terminal gate to an airplane, allowing passengers to board and exit the aircraft without being exposed to the elements.

The force of the explosion triggered a fire alarm and sprinklers inside the workshop and prompted a response from an Orange County Fire Authority crew and paramedics stationed at the airport, Thompson said.

The second employee in the workshop refused medical attention. No airport operations were affected by the explosion, authorities said.

The Orange County Sheriffs Department is investigating the explosion and Cal/OSHA investigators are expected to arrive at the airport Wednesday to conduct an investigation, officials said.
