 Meghan Markle is currently spending time in New York City, ahead of the impending birth of her baby

The Duchess of Sussex, who is due to give birth in spring, will enjoy a baby shower with pals during her stay across the pond

Today, the 37-year-old stepped out of her hotel in a very chic ensemble. She wore a pair of black jeans and a mid-length dark grey tunic

 The stylish garment featured a ripple pattern effect. It had a distinctive collar, and had a series of buttons positioned at the centre of the outfit

 She teamed the look with a pair of beige high heels, and a matching handbag. Meghan also wore a pair of dark sunglasses for the occasion

 She had styled her brunette tresses in a sleek down 'do. It's thought that 15 of Meghan's loved ones had joined her for the baby shower
