USA news on Youtube Feb 16 2019

hey there youtubers Coby here, osteopath in the UK from www.sootheclinic.com

if this is the first of my videos you're watching remember to subscribe

and click the little Bell button below so you get an alert every time I put a

new video up so today's video is in response to a question somebody put on

one of my videos where they said that in the cold weather that we're experiencing

at the moment their back pain gets worse and that is obviously because in the

cold them your muscle tension increases and that increases your pain did I have

any suggestions so yes I do and here they are so I've been looking around for

some quirky little things that I could suggest to you different to just a

normal hot water bottle which is what you would normally use obviously if you

warm up the back muscles you will relax them it will reduce your pain even if

it's temporarily sometimes even a little bit of pain relief is a great gift in

times of great pain so I found this really cute thing now it's basically

don't laugh it's basically an electric blanket for your back and it basically

warms up your back and your neck so it's this lovely fairy material like putting

a teddy bear around your back or a blanket like that already the fact that

it's a really lovely texture will help relax you and activate the relaxation

response which will give you a little bit of pain relief anyway anything that

relaxes your muscles will reduce your muscle pain so I'll just do a quick demo

try not to laugh just pop it on your back like this here you go I won't do it

up because my microphone but you would would close that up there so you can see

it go all the way up the neck and down the back and then you've just got these

little tires here very basic design but does

that matter as long as it does the job hey so and then it's unfortunately with

this it's not portable you you plug it into the wall and you have three levels

of heat zero which is completely off no heat just a nice warm cozy blanket then

you've got one two and three so high heat settings and on the instructions it

says if it gets too hot make sure you turn it down I've tried it out myself

it's great I really like it and it doesn't exactly heat up for next is warm

and cozy it's really nicely around the trapezius muscle so I think it will be

good to help you if you get tension headaches so the downside of this is is

not portable so what's my suggestion if you want something on the go okay guys

so this is my second suggestion now this to all intents and purposes looks like

your very standard normal sleeveless jacket and the UK we call this a body

warmer made of a lovely thick spongy kind of synthetic material so it's quite

warm in itself but when you open it up it looks like something a national would

wear doesn't it but it is hitted the whole back panel is heated much like the

last one we looked at but what I like about this the reason I'm suggesting

this to you is because you don't have to plug it into a wall plug it is powered

by a USB cable so you plug this into a USB plug charge up and then whenever

you're ready when you're out and about so when your back pain comes on because

back pain comes on when you least expect it right when you're queuing for the to

pay for your shopping when you're picking the kids up you just press this

little button and it will obviously warm up your back muscles relaxing them now

this is marketed to Mountaineers so people who go up mountains in cold

weather but I think this would be fantastic for someone who has back pain

I think if James Bond had back pain he would have designed this for him it's a

it's so discreet you could wear it under your jacket under your under your normal

kote which i think is great because when you're when your back pain software you

need lots of tools like this that you can just pull out the back and just be

prepared you've got to be prepared for a back pain if if you're living with

chronic back pain I think this would really help all right so there yeah my

job is just to give you some tips and ideas so there we are my two suggestions

for you I will put the links in the write-up below and give them a try if

you think they would help you so remember this video was I've made this

video in response to a question that somebody sent me on my youtube video so

if there's any videos or any questions you have that you would like me to

answer on back pain neck pain sciatica disc injuries headaches anything

musculoskeletal just send me your questions in the linked on underneath

this video and I will attempt to answer them for you all have a fantastic day

Meghan Markle baby: Why bringing up royal baby will cost more for Meghan and Harry - Today News US - Duration: 3:46.

The General Register Office of England and Wales will make the Duke and Duchess of Sussex pay nearly three times the amount for a certificate of birth for Baby Sussex - though at the new price of a measly £11 the royal couple are unlikely to struggle with the fee

The hike comes this weekend and it the first increase from the traditional £4 fee in nearly one years

The office said that while "the fees are set at cost recovery levels only", Registrars will adjust charges should they feel a parent is struggling to pay

The Royal Family have taken to the tradition of sharing copies of baby birth certificates, meaning the general public - and avid fans of the Sussexes - will be waiting with baited breath to hoover up the details

Meanwhile, there is much to be speculated upon. Meghan, 37, who at seven months pregnant appears ready to pop before her April due date, has sparked speculation that she could be expecting twins

Bookies such as Paddy Power suspended bets on whether the US former Suits actress will face double trouble this spring when her bump began to show in the aftermath of her plush Windsor wedding to Harry, 34, in May

REVEALED: How 'roving Prince Harry had secret SNOG' Meghan Markle baby name: THE popular royal names in the Royal Family  There is also the name of the baby/babies, with many royalists scratching their heads over whether the feminist humanitarian will follow royal tradition in the naming of her bundle

According to bookmakers Coral, Victoria is the current favourite name for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first child with odds of 8-1

Diana - after Harry and brother William's late mother - is at 10/1. Coral spokesman Harry Aitkenhead said: "We've already taken a large number of bets on the name of the baby since the couple announced that they were expecting back in October

"Victoria has been far the most popular bet and it's the one that leads our betting, and these markets do tend to be dominated by traditional Royal names

"Olivia was the most popular girl's name of 2018 but we rate that as a 66-1 outsider, with Diana, Phillip, Arthur and Mary all much more popular picks from punters

" REVEALED: Surprise reason why Meghan was in London when she met Harry Meghan Markle due date: When is Meghan's baby due?  Finally, fans are also speculating the gender

Earlier today, Ladbrokes revealed all bets placed on the gender of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby since the start of this week have favoured a boy at even-money

A spokesman said: "Our royal baby punters certainly seem to think so, with all bets being on a boy

" Meghan's pregnancy was announced in a statement by Kensington Palace in October last year

Review Amazon Primes Lorena is a fascinating and flawed view of the Bobbitt case Los Angeles Time - Duration: 2:57.

Review Amazon Primes Lorena is a fascinating and flawed view of the Bobbitt case Los Angeles Time

The story was so sensational it could have been culled from a fictional true crime paperback.

Lorena Bobbitt now known as Lorena Gallo cut off her husband John Wayne Bobbitts penis as he slept and absconded with it, launching a notorious search for the missing appendage.

Amazon Primes docu series Lorena revisits the 1993 story that launched a months long media frenzy, crushed the already thin barrier between tabloid news and the real thing and brought issues of domestic violence to the fore a year before O.J. Simpson went on trial for murder.

Twenty five years later, this four part series attempts to cut through the layers of daytime talk show hysteria and late night jokes to chronicle what really happened that night and in the months and years that followed, through interviews with Gallo and Bobbitt, their attorneys, families and others who were involved in or covered their cases.

The two players in this story are fascinating to watch. Shes so soft spoken you can barely hear her as she recounts the physical abuse she suffered and the terror she felt that June night when she grabbed for the knife. Hes so mild mannered and seemingly hapless its hard to reconcile that this is the same guy who became a hero among the Howard Stern crowd for recovering his manhood ... and prevailing in court.

The problem is that Lorena, now streaming, gets bogged down in the sensationalism that it attempts to deconstruct all the mania that helped establish Court TV and the 24 7 cable news cycle.

Despite its goal of cutting through the noise, the four hour series spends half its time immersed in the clamor by hammering away at how the press distorted facts, demonized Lorena and painted John as the sole victim of this tragic story. Clips of Jenny Jones, Geraldo Rivera, SNL skits and countless nightly and cable news reports make the point over and over again, diluting what this series is trying to do in terms of telling a revised version of this American tragedy, minus the flippant misogyny that characterized it the first time around.

And to be fair, retelling the Bobbitt story in a linear fashion, free of all that sensationalist clutter, is no easy task. She cut his penis in half when he was passed out in bed, then threw it out the car window while fleeing. It was found on the roadside of their Manassas, Va., neighborhood by police and sewed back on by a surgeon. Trials ensued, revealing a history of domestic abuse. Shes ordered to do time in a mental institution while he becomes a national celebrity and then porn star. Their fortunes eventually reverse, and today Gallos the star of this production and hes the cautionary tale.

The real life narrative alone makes this a series worth watching and Lorena does do an excellent job of shining a light on the legal systems blind spots when it comes to domestic violence and the protection of women. Its also powerful in showing how both Gallo and Bobbitt were exploited by an entertainment industry that thrives on scandal, humiliation, sexism and sex.

But as with many streaming doc series Wild, Wild Country, Making a Murderer Lorena would have been more effective condensed into a two hour film. As is, it waits too long to reveal critical context about Lorenas history of abuse at the hands of her husband and his issues around alcohol and an abusive childhood both of which are revelations that might have focused and pushed the story toward deeper, personal territory early on.

The series, which was directed by filmmaker Joshua Rof and 233; and executive produced by Jordan Peele, could have been called The Bobbitts because it spends as much if not more time following Bobbitts tumultuous life as it does Gallos. Both of them have suffered, though here, she finally gets the chance to tell her side of the story sans the snide Letterman jokes and tabloid headlines that characterized her as a jealous wife and hot blooded Latina.

Lorena has its problems, but as a time capsule on where we were then and how far the media has and hasnt come in years since, it is worth wading through the lurid muck for some long overdue reassessment.
