They're among the best in the business that I've encountered.

The Canon Summit is not just information.

It's fun.

Mere days after he was released from ICE, 21 Savage turned himself into the police over an unrelated charge and his mug shot shows how this deportation nightmare has left him exhausted

   There's no smile in 21 Savage's mug shot, released on Feb. 19, but there's no real reason for him to be happy

The 26-year-old rapper turned himself into the Liberty County Sherriff's Department on Feb

15 over a two-year-old arrest warrant involving a 2016 concert. 21 was booked on "theft by deception" and his picture was taken

Considering this photo came just two days after 21 was released from after spending more than a week in an, having spent more than a week locked up, no wonder he looks exhausted

   "He is trying to clean up his past as much as he can and rapper Jay-Z has been trying to help him," Liberty County Sheriff Steve Sikes told the Coastal Courier

"The warrant is from some years ago and he went through the process and addressed the issue

" Lt. Chris Reed also added that while 21 Savage was being held in a detention center, "his attorneys contacted the sheriff's office and made arrangements for him to surrender himself after he was released from ICE

"  21 has been accused of "theft by deception" by concert promoter Karen Smith, according to Hot New Hip-Hop

She claims 21 bailed on a 2106 concert and made off with $17k. She also claimed that 21 demanded to be able to carry a gun onstage – which she ultimately agreed too – but that he bailed because he was annoyed that the opening act ran long

Karen claimed 21 tried to get the venue's DJ to cut the local rapper's set shorter, but the DJ didn't give in to these alleged demands

21 then allegedly left without performing, and he's now in this mess today.    This "mess" includes possible deportation

21 Savage (born She'yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph) was arrested on Feb. 3 and taken into ICE custody

For ten days, he was kept in an ICE detention center. "It really wasn't jail," he said when speaking with The New York Times for the first time since his release

"It was the possibility of me not being able to live in this country no more that I've been living in my whole life

All that just going through your head, like, 'Damn, I love my house, I ain't gonna be able to go in my house no more? I ain't gonna be able to go to my favorite restaurant that I been going to for 20 years straight?' "  "That's the most important thing," he added

"If you tell me, 'I'll give you 20 million to go stay somewhere you ain't never stayed,' I'd rather be broke

because I gain a lot of knowledge

about the things that are happening

and things we can do to make money and improve service.

Having the technicians being able to utilize different tools

so they're prepared for the service calls

is something that's very important.

I even requested one of our IT managers

come with me this year.

He does a lot of remote diagnostics.

And to be quite truthful, with today's technology,

I'm able to do a lot remotely: answer emails, check my system,

check on service calls during breaks ...

I would definitely recommend for a colleague

to come to the Summit.

I think that they can gain a lot of helpful information

on the latest technology that can help them be a better

service organization.

The information that I gather here,

I'm able to use it in a way that helps me competitively

in my market.

I bring my field service manager here to the event.

We split up the different sessions,

and we're able to come back and collaborate together

what's important to implement or the different changes that

might impact our technicians.

It really would benefit anyone that

deals with the service on a day-to-day basis.

I've worked with Canon for over 20 years,

and Canon actually provides a higher level of service

than any other manufacturer I've worked with in the past,

so we know all the support staff very well

and when they come out to us, they're

excited and ready to work with our employees

because they have created that friendship and bond.

It's also about other dealerships

that you get to collaborate with and learn

a lot more about the business.

If you've never come to the Summit before,

I would really recommend that you do.

of Canon's technologies so that we can then

spread out to our "investomers."

I find that I get probably the most benefit out of the

breakout sessions.

It allows us to really explore, in finer detail,

what we're getting in the keynote sessions.

But one of the things that I really

enjoy about coming to these events

is the accessibility of the staff that Canon has.

I'm able to actually speak with their local reps

and also other reps that we do not see that often.

The Canon reps on site seem to really know their stuff.

And they're very engaged in helping us find solutions

to issues that we may see quite often.

This event really helps to strengthen the partnership

that we have with them.

It also allows us to build that bond stronger.

The presentations are always nice.

I think it does give us a great edge when we have to compete.

It gives us the tools to work in places where

we wouldn't have them before.

It gives us ideas on different directions and different places

to seek out the new business also.

Because when you get here, you are getting the information first.

So when we get back into our marketplace,

and if we're competing with other places,

we're usually ahead of the game with them.

It's not like with some other manufacturers or other product

lines that we may sell, where it's more of "OK, yeah,

here's our stuff,

there you go.

We'll talk to you later."

Whereas with Canon, they are making an investment directly

into the dealerships.

They're there every step of the way.

and I always like coming to

these type of get-togethers.

There's no other manufacturer that actually has

something like this going on.

It is very useful,

it's current.

The benefit of coming is the fact

that you get to interact with the instructors,

with the management of Canon, the regional trainer,

and the personnel that are developing the courseware.

And we're getting the information

before it's released to the dealers.

We have input on it,

and they might make changes that are

applied before its actual, final release.

It does keep us ahead of the curve on the learning

side, being introduced to the technology that's

coming up so we can better prepare and get

our people ramped up.

I do develop a good relationship with the other attendees that

are here and get to know them on a first-name basis,

and that's very beneficial in our day-to-day operations.

Dealers should absolutely come to next year's Engineering conference.

They should bring not only their trainers,

their supervisors, their managers,

bring some of the lower-tiered people;

they'll also get a lot out of it too.

Talking to other dealers you get insight into what

their business struggles are like, and their problems,

and what they do to overcome them.
