After Laura Bush Attacked Trump & Called His Border Policy 'Immoral,' Sarah Huckabee

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders took to the podium today during the

daily press briefing to lay the smackdown on the mainstream media propagandists regarding

immigration enforcement.

Sanders was specifically asked about commentary from former First Lady Laura Bush in an op-ed

penned for the Washington Post.

In the article, Laura speaks of President Donald Trump's zero-tolerance policy on

illegal aliens calling it "cruel and immoral" and leftist progressive propagandists thinking

they smelled blood in the water, began to circle like the sharks they are, ready to

begin their feeding frenzy.

However, as Sanders has demonstrated in the past, she does not suffer fools, nor does

she mince words.

She stood up and exposed Mrs. Bush for her hypocrisy and her complicity.

Sanders emphatically states – Frankly, this law was actually signed into effect in 2008

under (Laura Bush's) husband's leadership, not under this administration…We're not

the ones responsible for creating this problem.

We've inherited it, but we're actually the first administration stepping up and trying

to fix it."

Mrs. Bush stated in her op-ed in part – "On Sunday, a day we as a nation set aside to

honor fathers and the bonds of family, I was among the millions of Americans who watched

images of children who have been torn from their parents.

In the six weeks between April 19 and May 31, the Department of Homeland Security has

sent nearly 2,000 children to mass detention centers or foster care.

More than 100 of these children are younger than 4 years old.

The reason for these separations is a zero-tolerance policy for their parents, who are accused

of illegally crossing our borders.

I live in a border state.

I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance

policy is cruel.

It is immoral.

And it breaks my heart.

Our government should not be in the business of warehousing children in converted box stores

or making plans to place them in tent cities in the desert outside of El Paso.

These images are eerily reminiscent of the Japanese American internment camps of World

War II, now considered to have been one of the most shameful episodes in U.S. history.

We also know that this treatment inflicts trauma; interned Japanese have been two times

as likely to suffer cardiovascular disease or d*e prematurely than those who were not

interned."

Yet the left continues to wrongly claim "illegal children" are living in "cages" thanks

to President Trump's new "zero tolerance" policy at the border.

Children are separated from their "parents" when they cross our borders ILLEGALLY, therefore

invading our country.

However, yet another important distinction that leftist progressives and even some Republicans

are failing to mention is many children are not traveling with their parents, but instead

are traveling with "accompanying adults."

Under Obama's reintroduction of the "catch-and-release" program, adults and children were released

into the country under the long-standing practice of allowing illegal aliens caught without

legal documents to remain free inside the country while they waited for an appearance

in court.

Since illegal aliens were not monitored in any way, the rate of no-shows for court was

predictably high.

With no punitive measures in place to enforce compliance, there was no incentive to comply.

See how that policy worked?

Bring a kid along when you sneak across the border and you will automatically be released

into America.

However, under "zero tolerance," detained adults are being incarcerated and prosecuted.

Minor children cannot be incarcerated with adults and are therefore being relocated to

shelters.

It is also important to note, families that arrive together and apply for asylum status

are not generally split up.

They are usually allowed to stay in the United States while their applications are being

processed.

While the left and mainstream media wail and gnash their teeth over the supposed "torturous"

conditions for illegal children are forced to endure by their parents or accompanying

adult's choice to cross their border illegally.

They scream to the rooftops over how separated from their families and forced to live in

cages.

Yet these children are treated far better their impoverished urban American counterparts

where their lives are often cut short due to gang violence.

With drive-by shootings and turf wars being the day to day norm in cities like Los Angelos

and Chicago.

For years, the left has attempted to sell the American people a work of fiction regarding

Obama's so-called DREAMers painting them as wide-eyed, cherub-like children.

Except they aren't – many of them are not even children and committing very serious

and very adult crimes.

As the Washington Examiner reports –

"Almost 60,000 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients have been arrested at

least once as a beneficiary of the Obama-era program, according to data released Monday

by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

USCIS Director L. Francis Cissna confirmed Monday morning that 59,786 people protected

in the program had been arrested while a DACA recipient, which is 8.5 percent of the total

700,000 recipients.

In addition, 53,792 DACA beneficiaries had been arrested prior to being approved by the

Department of Homeland Security agency to be part of the DACA program, which grants

recipients legal protections from deportation for two-year periods.

"The rules for DACA are that you are excluded from DACA if you have a felony, conviction,

three misdemeanor convictions, three or more misdemeanor convictions or a conviction for

a misdemeanor.

You could be arrested a whole lot of times and still get DACA," Cissna told Fox News'

"Fox and Friends" Monday morning.

The DHS data do not include how many individuals had charges dropped or later pleaded down.

Among current DACA recipients who had a prior arrest, 39 percent were driving-related offenses

and 22 percent were immigration-related crimes.

In 2012, then-President Barack Obama created DACA through an executive order after Congress

failed to legislatively solve the issue of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants

in the country who had been brought to the U.S. as minors."

It's about time the truth got out, and the best part is the one telling the truth is

a Democrat this time.

Back in 2014 when Barack Hussein Obama was president the number of illegal alien children

making their way across the southern border was skyrocketing by the fact that both Democrats

and Republicans were busy trying to court the illegal vote by promoting amnesty.

But here is where things get interesting.

The children who would cross the border illegally, whether accompanied by a parent or not, were

kept in housing facilities until they had their day in court.

Just like they are being kept today.

But now that Donald Trump is our president the liberal media, past presidents and even

their Stepford wife resembling spouses who kept quiet while Barack Obama ruined our economy

and healthcare system have all of a sudden taken issue with the law that has been in

the books and has been implemented, for decades.

Let's face it, now that both the Russian collusion myth and the Stormy Daniels saga

sizzled out, the left has to come up with a new strategy to continue to try and overthrow

our duly elected president.

Democrat Representative from Texas, Henry Cuellar, recently went on CNN to call out

the media and even his fellow Democrats in Congress for not doing more to address this

issue four years ago when Obama was president.

"Even CNN can't hide the truth about the illegal immigrant crisis any longer.

In 2014, back when Barack Obama was president, numbers of migrant children making the illegal

border crossing were surging.

They were likely emboldened to come because the Democrats' were broadcasting both an

open borders policy and mercy for those breaking our immigration laws.

Children who crossed the border illegally, whether they were with a parent or not, were

kept in housing facilities to wait until they got their day in court.

At the time, no one in the liberal media said a word.

They were more preoccupied with reporting on Obama's latest trip to Hawaii or Michelle

Obama's workout routine.

But now that Trump is in office, liberals in both the government and the media are pretending

to care about this problem, if only as an excuse to bring down the President.

Now that both the Russia collusion story and the Stormy Daniels saga aren't playing out,

the Left has to come up with a new strategy.

But Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas recently went on CNN to call out the media and his fellow

Democrats in Congress for not doing more to address this issue four years ago.

"During the CNN interview, Cuellar stated that the plight of illegal immigrant children

was, "kept quiet under the Obama administration."

He stated that in 2014, "There were large numbers of people coming in and the Obama

administration tried to keep this quiet."

He went on to say that not all of those children were being separated from their parents because

many of the migrant children were coming by themselves.

Cuellar then explained the reasoning behind separating children from the adults accompanying

them.

He said it's to ensure that the children are really with their legal guardian and not

drug or s*x traffickers.

Cuellar's honesty turns the whole liberal narrative on its head and proves decisively

that the real culprit behind the illegal immigrant crisis is Obama himself.

Even Feinstein admitted to Jake Tapper that she didn't bother learning about the child

migrant problem while Obama was president, but she still wants to criticize Trump for

following the same policies the Obama administration carried out for 8 years.

It's interesting how the media timed the release of this story to coincide with the

president's historic progress on denuclearizing North Korea.

No doubt the liberal media wanted Trump's North Korea summit to fail so that it would

give them more ammo to use against him.

But now that Trump is poised to win a Nobel Peace Prize, the left is using these children

as political props in their war against Trump.

They should be ashamed of themselves, but that would imply that the Left has any shame

to begin with."

This garbage has to stop.

We understand the left is still butthurt because Hillary Clinton lost the election she was

supposed to win in a landslide, but there is no reason to continue trying to undermine

President Trump at every turn.

Just fight and try to win the next election instead.

I am sure the idea of raising taxes is a winner for the Democrat Party.

After all, who here doesn't wish we didn't have higher taxes to pay so the already bloated

government can waste it and redistribute it to people who refuse to work for a living,

even in this economy where we are seeing numbers we haven't seen in the past 50 years.

Yeah Democrats, us on the right can't wait till 2020!

an annual income of $2 million dollars.

This would mean he has seen a hike of 64% over the past few years.

Mueller is an American attorney who was the sixth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation

but also keep in mind that the former FBI boss James Comey was only earning a salary

of $172,000.

The website, finapp.co.in also goes on to claim that Mueller owns 4 luxury cars worth

$740,000 and $8.4 million in various other investments.

with the Clinton Foundation receiving $500,000 to give a speech in Moscow, with the speaking

fee paid by Renaissance Capital, RenCap, a Cyprus-registered corporation controlled by

former Russian intelligence officers with close ties to Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Along the way, Clinton secretly established WJC, LLC, a limited liability company registered

in Delaware using his initials as a code easily recognized by Clinton family members to serve

as a "shell corporation" through which Giustra (and others) could make under-the-table

money-laundered cash and stock payments to Clinton for services rendered, while various

Canadian entrepreneurs made millions of dollars in mostly anonymous contributions shuffled

to the Clinton Foundation in New York City via Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative

(CGSGI) in Canada."

When did it become so lucrative to be a public servant?

Back in the day, people used to get a job in government and they knew they were trading

off not making as much money for security and a decent pension.

Today when you get a job in the public sector you are guaranteed more money, benefits and

a better pension than anyone else in the private sector, plus you don't even have to work

as hard or as often as people in the private sector.

This needs to stop.

Not completely sure where Mueller's millions came from and I'm not ready to make accusations

but isn't it about time we investigate the investigator?

This man has spent the last year trying to take down our president over a fake narrative

invented by Hillary Clinton and the others at the DNC, the least we should know about

him is where his money originated from.
