The Department of Justice is requesting that a lawsuit filed against special counsel Robert

Mueller be dismissed.

The lawsuit, fired by former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort, claims the Deputy AG

overstepped his authority by appointing special counsel Robert Mueller.

From The Hill: The Department of Justice is asking a judge to dismiss a lawsuit by former

Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort claiming that the department overstepped its authority

by appointing the special counsel who indicted him on conspiracy charges.

In a Friday court filing, the Justice Department asked to dismiss the civil lawsuit against

special counsel Robert Mueller, that claims his charges against Manafort had nothing to

do with the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 campaign.

The Manafort lawsuit, filed to a U.S. District Court in Washington last month, claims that

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein did not have the legal authority to put Mueller

on the case, saying the decision "exceeds the scope of Mr. Rosenstein's authority

to appoint special counsel as well as specific restrictions on the scope of such appointments."

DERSHOWITZ ABOUT MUELLER 'HE IS GOING WELL BEYOND HIS AUTHORITY'

During Monday's edition of Fox News' "Outnumbered Overtime," Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz

responded to special counsel Mueller's ordering of the DOJ to hand over emails regarding Attorney

General Jeff Sessions' recusal and James Comey's firing, and he staid what we all

were thinking all along – that Mueller is going "well beyond" his authority.

Via Breitbart:

Dershowitz said, "Mueller is going well beyond his authority as a prosecutor, and

is trying to make a case that the president might have engaged in obstruction of justice

by engaging in constitutionally protected acts.

The president is entitled to fire the head of the FBI.

The president's entitled to direct his attorney general who to investigate and who not to.

That's what the law has been since Thomas Jefferson directed his attorney general to

go after Aaron Burr."

Dershowitz also argued there shouldn't be any legal investigations into Hillary Clinton.

The lawyer said he believes no investigation into either President Trump or Hillary Clinton

is warranted, but a bipartisan commission to investigate Russian influence on elections

is.

An NBC Anchor Just Made An Insanely Racist Comment About The NFL Protests

The left loves to preach "tolerance."

But they continually prove themselves as the least tolerant group in America.

And a liberal NBC anchor just proved that by making an insanely racist comment on national

television.

Instead of trying to bring people together, the race-baiters in the mainstream media only

seem to want to create more racial division.

Whether it be out of pure hatred, or simply for television ratings, they continually paint

white people, specifically conservatives as racist.

The latest debacle around NFL kneelers proves this more than anything.

When the protests began, it wasn't a black vs. white issue; it was Americans standing

together angered by protesters desecrating the National Anthem.

But the media immediately latched on and made it about race.

Chuck Todd of NBC News has been one of the most vocal race-baiters through the entire

ordeal.

And to nobody's surprise, he was furious about the recent news that the NFL will crack

down on protests during the National Anthem.

Even less surprising was the way he used his reaction to again pit white people against

black people.

He stated that the NFL was siding with white people, and against their black fans and players.

"THE NFL MADE A DECISION — NOW, IT HAS TO DO WITH THE ANTHEM, BUT IT SPLITS ACROSS

RACIAL LINES," TODD STATED ON HIS SHOW.

"THEY PICKED THE WHITE CONSUMER OVER THE BLACK CONSUMER."

"IT'S THE ONE CORPORATION THAT SEEMED TO PICK ONE SET OF CONSUMERS OVER ANOTHER

LIKE THAT.

WHY?"

TODD ASKED, DESPITE SEEMING TO ALREADY HAVE COME TO A CONCLUSION.

For a long time, those on the left have used claims of racism to vilify their opposition.

President Donald Trump is a perfect example.

Despite carrying positions mainstream enough to get him elected President, they continually

paint him as a racist fringe figure.

When he says that he wants to secure the borders, the media tells their viewers that he hates

Mexicans.

When he points out the already well-known crime problems in Chicago, they say he hates

black people.

And when he uses the term "radical Islamic terrorism," they say he hates Muslims.

Regardless of what he says, the media will paint it in the worst light possible.

This is one of the major reasons that Donald Trump has been so vocally critical of the

media.

They continuously lie, and when he calls them out, they try to claim that he's attacking

the "free press," as if they come from some moral high horse.

In reality, a huge chunk of the media are nothing more than left-wing activists using

massive platforms that most people see as credible to spread their propaganda.

Proof of that is demonstrated every single day.

Just last week the media lied about Trump calling illegal immigrants "animals."

They broadcasted a clip of President Trump answering a question about MS-13 gang members,

and spliced it in a way that it sounded like he was talking about all illegal immigrants.

President Trump is doing a long-overdue service for America, and should be commended for his

actions, not demonized.
