1419 napisane.
Pewnie tak, bo 6 wygląda jak...
znaczy się 9 wygląda jak 6 do góry nogami.
Zapukać?
Nie, wejdź po prostu.
Tak! Zapukaj!
Hello!
All I have left
after the trip to Colorado, this time.
Good enough. Now I'll be driving around East Coast drinking coffee
from a cup that reminds me about all the pretty places we visited.
EPISODES FROM 9th, 12th and 15th of JUNE - PLEASE WATCH!
Jesteś na tym świecie od 12 lat.
Jakie masz...
i trzy godziny!
Jak pamiętasz pierwsze 12 lat?
Dobrze!
Jak pamiętasz pierwsze trzy godziny swojego życia?
Nie wiem, tych nie pamiętam.
Jakie masz urodzinowe życzenia w tym roku?
Mieć dobry dzień?
Today is the 22nd of June.
One day before the Father's Day in Poland so remember to wish your fathers
all the best tomorrow.
Actually when this
when this video finds its way to YouTube
it's going to be past Father's Day.
So if you forgot it's water under the bridge. Too bad. I hope no one forgot.
It's the middle of the summer of course - it's very hot.
Right here on the East Coast of USA it's very humid, you can't breathe outside.
A torture for me, a nightmare.
And today, on the 22nd of June
Sheridon, for example is ice skating.
Right in the middle of the summer.
She signed up, someone signed her up
to an ice skating camp. Why not!
Uhm, dziwne to.
I just thought that it was
a bit of a strange situation to
sign up for an ice skating camp in the middle of the summer but then if it is available - why not!
I, to be honest with you
could be sitting in this place all summer because right here the temperature feels right to me.
To jest dla mnie właściwa temperatura. Tutaj i teraz.
Tu chę być przez całe lato.
W środku lodowiska?
Tak!
And when we had beautifully frozen lake in the winter - she was not skating.
I was!
If you hadn't seen that episode you should see it because I was kicking it pretty good!
And how does it work getting hired by a county in USA?
Did you come up with an offer or was it all through connections?
This is in connection with the previous episode
when we were taking pictures of food, pictures of the restaurants
in our area where we live.
To be honest with you we just got it with time and effort.
Meaning... for more or less the past two years we started slowly
step by step getting into good graces
of the local businesses.
Working with the owners of local businesses, asking here and there.
And somewhat taking little step in the end
Actually it all started with this photo
It is as you can see the local lighthouse.
Cecil County Board of Tourism expressed their interest in this photo.
So we gave it to them to place in their folders and promo materials.
Then we found out from somebody that there is a need for those food photos.
Cześć, witajcie w North East Chocolates!

Then we put an offer on the table that was accepted
and it all worked out!
How does this work in all other cases? There is bidding, there are connections,
there are referrals and offers... so in general there are no strict rules.
You do whatever you can. Like everywhere else, I think.
Make something about indians, an episode or a few from your point of view.
Why not, it's a good, colorful subject
and I think I can tell you a little bit about the wedding we've been photographing.
This is going to be a quick reportage, I don't want this subject to take up the whole episode.
So indeed, this particular wedding we were photographing
The first day, first evening was so called Garba which is the traditional dance.
This dance is starting the wedding celebrations.
Therefore hindu people living here in USA often start their wedding celebrations with this party.
The second evening was simply a pool party.
And to make it a little more fun the aunt and uncle that were throwing this party
gave it a little theme.
Cowboys.
So we're walking into that party and
looking around. We are noticing people wearing... a lot of them have
a cowboy hat, some bandana, jeans and so on.
Other elements that tell
this was the theme they accepted.
for this particular party.
The first thing Blonnie says is
"look, these people have a great sense of humor!"
I look at her and say "good sense of humor? what do you mean?"
"Well look, they did cowboys and indians, right?"
Cowboys and Indians.
On this side of the pond you use the words "indian" and "hindu"
synonymously to refer to their culture and traditions.
Although I think that in Polish when you say "indians" you think about
the native, American indians that lived here before the white men appeared.
And to describe hindu people we say "hindu".
Here in USA when we talk about their weddings we just say "indian weddings".
To mark that you're taking about the native, American indians
you have to use the term "native indians", "native American Indians".
Talking about people from India you can use the word "hindu weddings" but in common speech you'll just say "indian weddings"
So... all this to explain the joke but it was funny.
This was just a little anecdote by the way of giving you the story.
Day #3 was the actual day, which par of you saw
in the previous film, we were standing then in front of the house where they were doing Mehendi.
It is the party during which they put henna on the bride lady.
The BRIDE [spoken properly in Polish].
It's also an interesting, very colorful party.
The very decorations of the house and outfits everyone is wearing
it's all literally a symphony of colors so a very fun event for a photographer.
Day #4 was a typical so called here "rehearsal dinner"
which is simply the night before the wedding.
Organized by the parents of the groom.
Very often during other weddings this is a chance
to meet for the very first time, for all the members of both families that never met before.
The groom and his family in this case are a completely different culture than the bride's family.
On the very wedding day I had a chance to ask
the bride for a few words
and we had a little conversation about that exactly.
So now I bring you a little report from the very wedding day.
I don't have too much material but here's what I do have.
Dzień dobry!
Jaki był ten numer?
1419.
Dobrze. Jestem gotowa. Nerwowe oczekiwanie!
Planowałaś to przez... jak długo?
Rok i kilka miesięcy.
I jak wszystko do tej pory?
Świetnie, wszystko wyszło dobrze.
Przeżywasz to w tej chwili? Cieszysz się?
Bardzo się cieszę!
Jestem gotowa!
i chrześcijańską ceremonię wieczorem.
Wiesz.. dwie strony nowej rodziny, spotkania i...
wszyscy mamy te same wartości, te same morały więc nie ma znaczenia z jakiego kraju i religii pochodzimy.
Doskonale, gratulacje!
kiedy ulice Walnut i Broad były obydwie zamknięte.
Wooo! Eagles!
Czyli Eagles i Simi & Chris!
Do przodu Eagles!
Wielkie dzięki!
It's a bit dark and yellow where I'm standing but we are
in Bellevue hotel, one of the most sophisticated hotels in Philadelphia.
I am in the room right now where they're having the ceremony.
The hindu ceremony, this is the decor.
This is what it looks like.
As you can see pretty cute room.
There's going to be a lot of people because hindu ceremonies always have a lot of people.
A lot of noise, too.
I don't know how much of all this I will be able to show you
I have to move because Blonnie is taking photos.
Because my main job here today is taking photos so
I won't be able to focus on filming things really but
whatever I can I will show you, maybe I can get the bride and groom
at some point and ask them a few questions.
Miss BRIDE [saying correctly in Polish] as I was already corrected.
as you should be saying in Polish, here everone just says "bride".
but I can also say Miss Bride.
This is it for today, thank you for your attention, subscriptions, likes and your time.
Tomorrow morning Poland is playing Colombia, hold your fingers crossed!
See you in three days!
To jest Fred?
Tak, chcę mu zrobić zdjęcie!
Sheridon!
Sorry, chcę Fredowi zrobić zdjęcie.
Fred sobie wisi.
Wymyśliłaś go sobie?
Nadal masz wymyślonych przyjaciół? W wieku 12 lat?
