TREY GOWDY UNLEASHES – DROPS NUKE ON BARACK OBAMA

The Department of Justice dropped a bomb on Barack Obama on Wednesday when it agreed to

hand over to Congress confidential records from the former president's failed gun-trafficking

operation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives known as

"Fast and Furious."

Using these documents, it appears that Rep. Trey Gowdy finally has enough evidence to

make his move against Obama.

The Daily Caller reported that Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder had previously

refused to hand over the documents that were requested by the House Committee on Oversight

and Government Reform, which former Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz at the time called

"critical" to pursuing the investigation.

Obama's "Fast and Furious" operation somehow allowed nearly 2,000 firearms to find

their way into the hands of Mexican cartel members.

"The Department of Justice under my watch is committed to transparency and the rule

of law," Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement.

"This settlement agreement is an important step to make sure that the public finally

receives all the facts related to Operation Fast and Furious."

Amanda Gonzalez, Gowdy's communications director, released a statement from the congressman

saying that the Oversight Committee "seeks all relevant facts so we can learn from the

mistakes made by the Justice Department."

"We have a responsibility to uncover why they worked so hard to hide this information

from the Committee, the family of Brian Terry, and the American people," she added.

Back in 2012, Gowdy slammed Obama for invoking his executive privilege to hide the truth

about Fast and Furious.

"The assertion of executive privilege is legally compromised and calculated solely

to delay Congress from exercising its constitutional responsibility to provide oversight," Gowdy

said at the time.

"The President claims he knew nothing about Fast and Furious prior to Agent Brian Terry's

murder and no one at the Department of Justice has suggested the President was part of the

drafting of a demonstrably false letter dated February 4, 2011, to a committee of congress."

"So, my question to the President is: What are you asserting privilege over?"

Gowdy continued.

"Did you know about Fast and Furious before Brian Terry's murder?

Did you approve the operation?

Did you participate in the drafting of a false letter to congress?

Unless the answer to all of those questions is yes, there is no matter overwhich the President

can assert privilege.

It is merely the latest ploy to delay the investigation."

It certainly seems like the walls are finally closing in on Obama!

DONALD TRUMP GOES ROGUE – DROPS NUKE ON MUELLER - Duration: 11:28.

DONALD TRUMP GOES ROGUE – DROPS NUKE ON MUELLER

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to lash out at White House

Special Counsel Robert Mueller once again.

"Much of the bad blood with Russia is caused by the Fake & Corrupt Russia Investigation,

headed up by the all Democrat loyalists, or people that worked for Obama.

Mueller is most conflicted of all (except Rosenstein who signed FISA & Comey letter).

No Collusion, so they go crazy!" Trump wrote, according to Fox News.

Though Trump has gone after Mueller and Rosenstein many times, it's rare that he actually mentions

them by name.

Earlier Wednesday morning, Trump tweeted that his administration is "doing things that

nobody thought possible, despite the never ending and corrupt Russia Investigation, which

takes tremendous time and focus.

No Collusion or Obstruction (other than I fight back), so now they do the Unthinkable,

and RAID a lawyers office for information!

BAD!"

Trump has been even more furious with Mueller than usual this week after the president's

lawyer Michael Cohen's office and home was raided by the FBI.

"So they find no collusion, and then they go from there and they say, 'Well, let's

keep going,'" Trump stated.

"And they raid an office of a personal attorney early in the morning, and I

think it's a

disgrace."

When

asked if

he would fire Mueller, Trump replied, "We'll see what happens," and, "Many people have

said you should fire him."

FitZone Multi Fitness Flooring - Duration: 2:15.

Hi, Jhan here for Kiefer USA with a brief overview of FitZone Multi—

a proprietary, high-performance, easy-to-install,

interlocking rubber floor system that provides

unmatched materials, construction and durability.

Specified for Group X activities, FitZone Multi flooring delivers the

comfort, safety and performance that aerobics, Zumba, TRX, yoga and Pilates require.

To best understand how this fitness floor performs,

let's take a look at the system's unique three-layer construction.

The floor's vulcanized rubber top layer has just the right amount of texture

to facilitate fluid movements.

This makes FitZone Multi a much safer option than wood, vinyl, or reground rubber floors

that can cause users to slip or stick.

The middle layer provides the cushion.

It allows the floor to momentarily compress on impact

and respond with a tremendous amount of energy.

This "spring" protects the user's skeletal structure, muscles and joints from injury

while reducing fatigue.

In fact, tests have shown FitZone Multi to provide up to 40% shock absorbency,

meeting the new ASTM F2772 rating for sports floors.

The floor's bottom, patented layer incorporates one-of-a-kind nodules that prevent creeping.

This dimensional stability is crucial to an interlocking, fitness flooring system

that could otherwise shift.

The lower layer also helps the entire system with moisture resistance.

The 24-inch square interlocking floor tiles are easy to install, without adhesive.

In addition, the tiles are water resistant, stain resistant, antibacterial, and odor free.

Available in five "wood grain" colors,

FitZone Multi fitness flooring looks as good as it performs.

At Kiefer USA our goal is to Go Beyond the Surface

when helping you specify a flooring system for your fitness area.

'I want to be a champion': Joel Embiid sends recruiting pitch to LeBron James - Duration: 2:48.

'I want to be a champion': Joel Embiid sends recruiting pitch to LeBron James

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid stuck to the party line when he offered his free agency pitch to LeBron James.

"Trust the process," Embiid said.

But the Second Team All-NBA center expanded his recruitment shortly thereafter.

"The process worked out pretty well, we got 50 wins last year, we got a lot of talented players on the team," Embiid told USA TODAY Sports ahead of last week's NBA draft.

"We feel like adding another piece of his caliber is going to help us.".

Then Embiid, who paired with Rookie of the Year favorite Ben Simmons this season to end the 76ers' five-year playoff drought, said something revealing about potentially adding James.

"He's the best player in the league at this moment, so I think he takes us to another level, which is important because at the end of the day, I want to be a champion," said Embiid. "I want to do it myself.

I want to have a lot to do with winning a championship or bringing a championship back to the city of Philadelphia.".

It would be interesting to see their dynamic develop if James were to choose Philadelphia.

Simmons is coming off his first season, while Embiid has only played 102 games since being drafted in 2014 due to injuries.

But the charismatic Embiid is the face of the franchise.

It's an issue the 76ers would gladly work through if James chose them. .

James has until Friday to decide whether he'll pick up his $35.

6 million player option with the Cleveland Cavaliers or become an unrestricted free agent.

UConn president says Ollie committed serious violations - Duration: 4:58.

UConn president says Ollie committed serious violations

HARTFORD, Conn.

(AP) — UConn President Susan Herbst told Kevin Ollie she was upholding his firing because the former men's basketball coach had a pattern of breaking NCAA rules and committed serious violations, according to a letter obtained by The Associated Press.

The school released the June 19 letter from Herbst to Ollie on Monday in response to open records requests from the AP and other news organizations.

Ollie has asserted that the violations which led to his firing in March were minimal and isolated.

Herbst refutes that idea in the letter, writing that "eventually even a series of 'isolated' or 'de mimimis' violations can become a pattern of non-compliance, which is what occurred in the Men's Basketball program under your leadership.

She said the violations "are serious under any definition which may be applied and constitute just cause for your termination.

Ollie's attorney, Jacques Parenteau, said the minor issues cited by Herbst can't be called a pattern "just by lumping them together and claiming a pattern exists.

"The collective bargaining agreement requires 'serious misconduct' with each act to be viewed on its own merit in order to have just cause to terminate employment," he said.

"President Herbst's letter claiming serious misconduct based on this alleged 'pattern of non-compliance' is just bootstrapping and nothing more than a desperate attempt to articulate a reason that sound legitimate in order to deny Coach Ollie the money he is owed by UConn.".

Ollie has been appealing the decision to fire him with cause, which would allow the school to forgo paying him the more than $10 million left on his contract with the school.

Michael Bailey, the director of the UConn chapter of the American Association of University Professors, the employee union that represents Ollie has said the union plans to take the decision to arbitration.

The violations cited by Athletic Director David Benedict in firing Ollie and outlined in more than 1,300 pages of documents released last week include: Ollie shooting baskets with a recruit during an unofficial visit to the school last September; Ollie arranging a video call between a potential recruit and Ray Allen, the former NBA great who is now considered a school booster by the NCAA and Ollie arranging improper training sessions with a friend who is a personal trainer both on campus and during out of state trips that amounted to improper gifts.

Herbst said in her letter that Ollie's failure to report any inadvertent violations constitutes either a knowing disregard for his compliance obligations or a "gross inability to satisfy them.

Ollie was fired after a 14-18 season amid an NCAA investigation.

He led UConn to a 127-79 record over six seasons, including the 2014 national title.

The NCAA has not released the results of its investigation.

The documents provided by UConn last week include transcripts of interviews by the school's compliance staff and NCAA officials about alleged violations.

That includes secondhand information provided by former UConn assistant coach Glenn Miller, who was fired by Ollie after the 2016-17 season, about an alleged $30,000 payment by Ollie to the mother of a player.

That was not cited by Benedict as one of the issues leading to Ollie's firing and Parenteau has said it is untrue.

Eric Greitens' nonprofit was 'criminal enterprise,' but committee must end: Mo. lawmaker - Duration: 9:45.

Eric Greitens' nonprofit was 'criminal enterprise,' but committee must end: Mo. lawmaker

An investigation by Missouri lawmakers into alleged wrongdoing by Eric Greitens is over, but its leader believes the former governor and a shadowy nonprofit that supported him deserve further scrutiny.

"Missourians deserve a full accounting of A New Missouri, Inc., which I have come to believe was a criminal enterprise from its inception — designed to illegally skirt donation limits and conceal the identities of major donors to Eric Greitens and ballot initiatives relating to right-to-work that were supported by the former governor," Republican Rep.

Jay Barnes wrote to his colleagues in a letter announcing the end of his committee's work.

Greitens resigned June 1 after several scandal-marred months ended the ambitious politician's tenure as Missouri governor.

The legislative committee investigating Greitens began its work by looking into allegations of sexual misconduct against the former governor.

In January, Greitens admitted he had an extramarital affair with a hairdresser but denied blackmailing her with a partially nude photograph of her bound to exercise equipment in his basement.

The investigation expanded into Greitens' political fundraising tactics.

Lawmakers had concluded that Greitens lied to the Missouri Ethics Commission about a list of donors his campaign obtained from The Mission Continues, the pro-veteran nonprofit Greitens helped found in 2007.

The probe also looked at A New Missouri, Inc., a "social welfare" nonprofit created by Greitens campaign aides to advocate for the governor's agenda.

A New Missouri is not subject to the same campaign finance disclosure laws as Greitens' campaign committee, lending the nonprofit an air of secrecy.

   .

Barnes clearly had some misgivings after delving through mountains of paperwork and interviewing witnesses, including a former Greitens campaign consultant.

But Barnes, a Republican representative who is termed out and not running for Senate, said he does not think further investigation of A New Missouri falls within the General Assembly's constitutional authority, which includes passing legislation, budgeting, overseeing state agencies and impeaching the governor.

"Legislation does not fit because I believe A New Missouri's activities are already illegal under Missouri law.

Budgeting does not fit this Committee because we have another Committee dedicated to that purpose," Barnes said.

"Oversight of state governmental entities does not fit because A New Missouri, Inc.

was not a governmental entity.

And impeachment no longer fits because Greitens resigned.

Accordingly, this Committee is not the appropriate entity for further investigation.".

"I understand this may disappoint some of you — and some in the public — who demand further accountability for Eric Greitens," Barnes continued.

"But we cannot investigate alleged illegal activity by someone else with actions of our own that are either illegal or create problematic precedent for future legislators.".

Barnes said "at least" three entities in Missouri government could have the appropriate jurisdiction: Attorney General Josh Hawley's office, Cole County Prosecutor Mark Richardson's office, and the Missouri Ethics Commission.

Barnes wrote that he plans to file a complaint with the ethics commission in the near future against Greitens campaign committee and A New Missouri.

Looking back, Barnes said the now-defunct committee likely would have moved to recommend impeachment of Greitens.

In Missouri, officials can be impeached for a variety of misdeeds, including "moral turpitude," criminal activity and misconduct in office. .

"Although we never voted on it, I believe the evidence was such that a super-majority of our Committee was prepared to vote that there was good cause to believe Greitens engaged in multiple acts constituting crimes, misconduct, and acts of moral turpitude warranting the filing of articles of impeachment," Barnes wrote.

Barnes flagged previous claims Greitens made publicly that the woman with whom he cheated on his wife might have dreamed up their encounter and that a videotaped deposition of the woman was "exonerating.

"Both statements by Greitens were slanderous," Barnes said, reiterating the committee's previous unanimous finding that those two statements by the former governor also were "wholly untrue.

The committee's second report looked into how Greitens' campaign obtained donor data.

This sequence of events was the subject of the second of two felony charges filed against Greitens, who maintained that he was not a criminal.

"Based on the documents in our possession, I believe Eric Greitens faced a near certain criminal conviction in the now dismissed case on tampering with computer evidence," Barnes wrote.

"In addition to what was already publicly known, the Committee possesses a document showing that Greitens originally obtained the donor list from The Mission Continues under false pretenses.

That document presented the possibility that additional charges for fraud may have been available to state or federal prosecutors.".

Barnes also noted that Greitens "may have engaged in criminal fraud in a grant application," according to documents that "also show Greitens spent up to $66,600 of grant funds for political purposes not authorized by the grant.

Additional documents obtained from Greitens campaign "contain significant circumstantial and direct evidence of illegal activity" and "tend to show that those in charge of the Greitens' campaign had a scheme to hide donor identities and attempt to funnel donors to," a nonprofit, Barnes wrote, "if a potential donor's identity would either be politically troublesome or they were otherwise prohibited by federal or state law from contributing to the campaign.

Greitens' use of a secret messaging app for government business, alleged public corruption by an unnamed member of Greitens' transition team, additional allegations of sexual misconduct and alleged misuse of public funds for Greitens' communications and social media were also on Barnes' radar, according to the memo.

Barnes even questioned the veracity of "Resilience: Hard-Won Wisdom for Living a Better Life," a best-selling book Greitens wrote.

Greitens had his first encounter with the hairdresser while he was promoting the book, which purportedly stemmed from letters between Greitens and a fellow Navy SEAL. .

"This appears to be false," Barnes wrote.

"The original manuscript for the book was likely written by one of Greitens' assistants, and it was only after that manuscript was complete that Greitens began editing the book into a series of 'letters.' There is also no public record of Greitens' friend being arrested or charged with a crime in the time period in which Greitens' claimed.".

A lobbyist who acted as Greitens' personal spokesman over the past several months was unaware of any current spokesman for Greitens and said he was not aware of a way to reach the former governor.
