The Justice Department's internal watchdog has concluded that James Comey defied authority

at times during his tenure as FBI director, according to sources familiar with a draft

report on the matter.

One source told ABC News that the draft report explicitly used the word "insubordinate"

to describe Comey's behavior.

Another source agreed with that characterization but could not confirm the use of the term.

In the draft report, Inspector General Michael Horowitz also rebuked former Attorney General

Loretta Lynch for her handling of the federal investigation into Hillary Clinton's personal

email server, the sources said…

The draft of Horowitz's wide-ranging report specifically called out Comey for ignoring

objections from the Justice Department when he disclosed in a letter to Congress just

days before the 2016 presidential election that FBI agents had reopened the Clinton probe,

according to sources.

Those of us following Comey's story will not be surprised by this report.

Comey was a rogue FBI director.

He even defied President Obama on more than one occasion.

It seemed like he cared more about appearing in the spotlight, rather than investigating

real crime.

His agency used an obviously bogus dossier to open an investigation against Donald Trump

and his campaign.

That witch hunt is still going on, despite a lack of any evidence.

James Comey constantly insulted the Commander in Chief.

He accused Trump of being a liar.

Not because he ever lied to him, but because Comey was seeking brownie points from the

liberal elite.

This joke of an FBI director only seemed to care about his own reputation—rather than

the well-being of the country.

Even during his infamous testimony before the Senate, he did nothing but praise himself.

Anti-Trump Republicans are jumping into the act as well.

And two Trump hating RINOs just revealed what would cause them to impeach the President.

Establishment Republicans are rallying around special counsel Robert Mueller.

Despite no indications from the White House that Mueller is going to be fired, the media

invented the story that Trump was on the verge of firing the special counsel.

This caused two anti-Trump RINOs to declare that if Trump fired Mueller, they would support

impeachment.

Retiring liberal Republican Jeff Flake – who supports amnesty, gun bans, and government

solutions to so-called "man made global warming" – tweeted that he would be forced

to vote for impeachment if Trump sacked Mueller.

Lindsey Graham – who also supports Cap and Tax, amnesty, and gun control – also said

firing Mueller would be an impeachable offense.

Many Trump supporters wish he would fire Mueller.

But White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders shot down this rumor in the Tuesday

press briefing.

The Mueller investigation is based on the fake news accusations that Trump colluded

with Russia during the campaign.

No evidence has ever been produced to substantiate this fringe conspiracy theory promoted by

many in the so-called "mainstream" media.

The FBI was a hotbed of anti-Trump conspiracies.

It's where the Deep State launched their campaign to undermine Donald Trump.

And now Jeff Sessions is about to drop the hammer with one decision.

Former deputy director Andrew McCabe was at the heart of the Deep State campaign against

the President.

It was in his office that the Trump-hating FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page discussed

using the Russia investigation as an insurance policy against a Donald Trump win.

McCabe also played a leading role in the Hillary Clinton email investigation, despite his wife's

political campaign having received hundreds of thousands of dollars in support from Clinton

allies.

And then, after an Inspector General's report was expected to show how he masterminded the

press leaks during the Clinton email probe and misled investigators, he announced he

was going to retire in mid-March—allowing him to walk away with full taxpayer funded

retirement benefits.

Trump supporters were outraged that he was going to escape accountability for his conduct

and live high off the hog on the taxpayer's dime.

But the FBI's office of Professional Responsibility has looked into the matter and has recommended

that McCabe be fired – which would deny him his taxpayer funded benefits.

It was up to Attorney General Jeff Sessions to decide McCabe's fate by Sunday.

WHO IS SET TO RETIRE WITH FULL BENEFITS ON SUNDAY.

THE FBI'S OFFICE OF PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY ISSUED THE RECOMMENDATION AFTER RECEIVING

INFORMATION FROM DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE INSPECTOR GENERAL MICHAEL HOROWITZ.

THE WATCHDOG HAS BEEN CONDUCTING AN INVESTIGATION OF THE BUREAU'S HANDLING OF THE CLINTON

EMAIL INVESTIGATION.

HOROWITZ HAS REPORTEDLY DETERMINED THAT MCCABE ENCOURAGED FBI OFFICIALS TO SPEAK TO THE MEDIA

ABOUT AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE CLINTON FOUNDATION."

Sessions has come under fire from Trump – and some Trump supporters – for not aggressively

pursuing leak investigations.

The Attorney General announced late Friday that McCabe was being fired.

Democrats and the media howled in protest.

But Sessions sacked McCabe after the Inspector General – who was appointed by Obama – found

that he leaked to the press and lied to investigators about it.

Democrats were the ones who insisted on this Inspector General investigation and it began

before Trump took office.

This was not a politically motivated firing.

McCabe was removed for cause.
