Hi guys! Welcome back to the channel it's Claire and rags and this week we

have something a little bit different for you! I'm going to show you how to

make these easy and super spooky DIY paper lanterns now these are a bit

different as it is coming to the end of our spectacular October and I thought

I'd show you how to make your house not only a bit spookier but a little bit more cat like so if you want

to learn how to make these super spooky super-easy paper lanterns just carry on

watching okay so for our DIY Halloween lanterns you're going to need some tissue

paper, some balloons, some PVA glue, a little paintbrush and dish some little candles

and I advise of making these out paper to use a fake LED ones instead of actual candles

and a marker pen. Alright first thing I do is take your

tissue paper and cut it into little squares about sort a couple of inches

wide and thick you can either cut it nice and cleanly for you can just rip it

it doesn't really matter

okay so once you've got all the tissue paper that you want I'm just using

orange but you can use a lots of different colors if you like right, you get

your balloon and blow it up

Next take your PVA glue and squirt some into a dish just so that it fills the bottom

Then add a little water until the dish is nearly false about half a cup of water I reckon

Give that a little mix

okay and then use the PVA glue to stick on the

tissue paper unto half of your balloon

Alright once you've covered the balloon as much as you want leave that to dry overnight

okay so after drying it overnight what you're going to do is take your scissors

and cut off the ends of the balloon and slowly let down the balloon

by letting out the air

if it loses any of its shape just stick your hands in

and just use your hands just to poke it back out again and then when you do take

Next thing I'm going to do is take your black pen and draw out a cute but scary cat face

There we have our cute cat paper lantern

Now As you can see with this lantern - it is slightly different you

can cut out a face using scissors instead of drawing one on with a marker pen and it looks just as good
