I have to thank all the people who have subscribed to the channel
and all those people who have taken the time to leave the comments in the videos
and as people leave a lot of common questions in the videos
I have decided to make a video of questions and answers.
If you want to know a little more about what they ask me,
then stay tuned why I'm going to answer several of those questions
Sharing my experiences
with all the people
that as well as me
embrace a new journey.
Welcome to my channel.
Hi guys, I'm Frankie and welcome one more time to my channel
as I said at the beginning of the video,
I will be answering some questions that you have left in the comments of the videos
I have decided to do this because there are many questions that are similar
and I also know that many people have the same doubts,
So it seemed like a good idea to make a video to answer each of them.
In this case, I will not answer all the questions that I have been asked but I selected few
and those are the ones I'm going to answer.
The first question appears in my video called Minimum Salary 2019 and Ericsson left it.
he says: "hello, a question, the student visa can be modified to work visa if I am already in Ireland,
obviously before it expires "
Well, in this case if you can change the student visa for a work visa or any other visa
but keep in mind that you always have to comply with all the requirements of the new visa
to which you are going to apply.
The only exception for this is,
if you are a national of a country that needs a tourist visa to come to Ireland,
you apply for that tourist visa and you can only use it for tourism here in Ireland
for example, if you are Venezuelan and apply for a tourist visa,
you need to come here as a tourist, you cannot change it for any other visa
but if you do not need that visa or have a student visa, yes you can change the student visa,
so do not worry about that.
The second question is in the video called How to Stay Here
and Fernando made it.
he says "hello, I read an info that mentions that after five years
of residency, you can apply for naturalization, is this true?
Yes it's correct. After having a legal residence in Ireland for more than five years (minimum),
You can apply for the Irish citizenship through naturalization
But...
to be able to live here legally there are several visas, and there are visas, such as, for example, the student visa (which is Stamp 2)
that are not reckonable to be able to apply for the citizenship
In any case, if you are here as a student for five years, for example, with a student visa
you will not be able to apply
Some visas that do count for this application are the Stamp 3,
and the work visa or family reunification visa that in any case would be Stamp 4.
The next question is in the video called What to Consider When you look for a house in Dublin
and Christian made it.
He says: "Hello, I have a question, how can I find a room in Dublin in the suburbs?
and that it is not a dangerous place or sector "
Well, it's a bit difficult to answer this question because here in Dublin,
one sector can be good and another sector... five minutes away from each other
might not be a good area.
So, I recommend in this case, if you're not living here in Dublin
to contact, through social networks, groups of Latin Americans
and ask about the areas here in Dublin, and they can give you advice based on their experience
If that place in which you are looking for a house is dangerous or not.
Anyway, here below in the description,
I'm going to leave the link of the website that is most used here to find a house, which is daft.ie
and there, you can familiarize yourself with all the areas in Dublin.
The next question is in my video called Appointment for the PPS Number, Step by Step
Evelyn asks: will you know if they have any specific opening time?
she refers to the offices
but no, there is no specific one
because every office where you can apply for the PPS number is an independent office
there are some that work from 8 to 5 in the afternoon
there are others that can work from 9 to 4:30 in the afternoon
So, you have to check which office is closest to you or which office you want to go to
and check the opening time.
Also, the schedule varies during the week: a Monday can be a schedule, on Tuesday it can be another schedule
and then you have to verify with them.
Anyway, down here I'm going to leave the link where you can see all the offices in Dublin
so you can check it.
The next question is in my video called How to Get an Irish Visa
and Juan made it.
He says: "Hi Frankie, I want to know, do I have to go to Mexico because I'm Dominican?"
in this case, I said it in one of my videos ... I think it was in this video actually,
I said that depending on the place of your residence and if you need a tourist visa (or a student visa)
you need to contact the Irish embassy or consulate that is in charge of the jurisdiction where you are.
Anyway, if any of you have any questions,
I will leave a link below, which is the link of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ireland
And so you can see, depending on the country where you are
Which is the consulate or embassy of Ireland that corresponds to your jurisdiction.
and the last question of today, it's in the video called What to Consider When Looking for a House in Dublin
and Octavio left it.
he asks me: "how about the city of Cork?"
as I said in some of my videos,
I live in Dublin and have no knowledge of housing or accommodation in other cities
and I will recommend the same:
search information in social media
and ask the groups of Latin Americans, so they can give you relevant information,
in this case, about the houses or accommodation in Cork.
And well guys, as I said at the beginning:
I'm doing this video because there are many questions that sometimes are common
sometimes they are not, but they are questions that I can handle in a single video
and so you can clear up all these queries if you have them.
