McDonald's® | Double Mushroom & Swiss Burger | Food Review! 🍄🧀🍔 - Duration: 5:46.

welcome to peep this out reviews with Ian K stay frosty

so I'm back over at McDonald's for today's review and after the awesomeness of the double

bacon smokehouse burger that I reviewed a while back we've now got a new

mushroom and swiss version that we most definitely need to go in on and go in

we shall guys have a look at the new signature crafted double mushroom and

swiss burger here at mcdonald's and already I am diggin' how those quarter

pound patties look right there guys we've got a half pound of beefy goodness

freshly made to quarter pound patties in effect for you Swiss cheese as well

let's take a look at that shiny artisan bun on the very top there always a very

nice glossy finish let's pop it and see what's underneath looks like plenty of

garlic herb mushrooms we've got some fried onion straws and what they're

calling a creamy Bistro aioli so basically it's like fancy Mayo but I

have to say what really stands out in the aroma Department is absolutely those

mushrooms you're gonna notice that right away and my car is lit up very nicely

we've got 2 slices of Swiss cheese here and let me see if I can try and split

that for you definitely a firmer type of cheese compared to anything else and as

you can see we've got two slices of it on the very bottom looks like not too

much else is there maybe a little bit more of that creamy Bistro aioli but

overall guys the smell is very strong on this one and it looks really really

tasty so let's give it a shot this is the all new signature crafted double

mushroom and swiss burger here at mcdonald's let's peep out this flavor

super beefy and absolutely loaded with garlic herb mushrooms the aroma is

strong with this one let's dive in it's the signature crafted double mushroom

and swiss burger here at McDonald's and I'm just a little excited to dive into

this right now here we go mmm Oh first off the double beef is pretty

insane with this guys to quarter pound patties that are freshly made make a

huge difference they're super juicy super flavorful and just like I

mentioned with my previous double bacon smokehouse burger a while back the only

way to really experience a signature crafted burger is to do the double there

really is no comparison it's definitely a nice way to start off this eating

experience and then you get into the theme of what this burger is which

essentially is the Swiss and mushrooms and I got to be honest not really

tasting the Swiss I really didn't expect to given how strong the garlic herb

mushrooms are on this really really flavorful and those are the dominant

players right now by far not quite into the fried onions just yet or that creamy

Bistro aioli let's keep going I'm lovin' it already mmm take a look at all

that beefy goodness right there in the middle guys if that doesn't satisfy your

hunger I don't know what will but thankfully you've got some other flavor

players that are in this game right now to really help it along and actually

they do work pretty well the fried onions are really nice it's a nice

holdover from the bacon smokehouse and of course those garlic herb mushrooms

at a dominant player out of the whole thing then you're getting a little bit

of the creaminess from that aioli it's a little bit more like a garlicky type of

Mayo if I can call it that but it adds to the overall experience and the Swiss

cheese can't really taste it but I don't miss it at all hey if anything is just a

glue that's holding everything together like I always say and countless reviews

that I've done with Swiss cheese in general you can't really taste the

cheese on these burgers for the most part it's really kind of hit or miss but

this works guys and like I said the double patty is insane it really is hmm

you know I firmly believe that had I gotten the single version of this I

think I would have been missing out on that extra beefy goodness guys cuz like

I said I can't stop talking about it the double beef is just so hearty to dive

into really really tasty let me grab one of these mushrooms

really quick here me see if I can grab a bigger one for you so we can take a

closer look they're cut pretty thick or not bad lots of garlic lots of strong

mushroom flavor those are seasoned really nicely mmm really really nice and

the fact that the mushrooms get top billing compared to all the other

ingredients on this burger you'd expect them to be a lot of them and fortunately

they actually do have a lot of them on here but just a nice combination and a

very nice variation of the signature crafted line of burgers over here and

just a great addition to it I should say super flavorful easy recommendation by

far it's definitely pretty insane guys but not quite up there with the bacon

smokehouse in my opinion I think bacon on this would have really kind of

overshadowed the mushrooms just a bit and I see what they're going for with

this one by keeping them in the forefront but overall it's nice to have

another variation of a very tasty burger and I have to say I'm really surprised

they waited this long to come out with a mushroom and swiss variant of the

signature crafted line but I'm glad they did man that thing is delicious and you

know what it has just the right amount of saltiness on top of everything else

so you get the classic McDonald's flavor on top of all the other themed

ingredients on this one and man it is just super flavorful and while the

garlic white cheddar and the bacon smokehouse are easily my favorites when

it comes to the signature crafted line this one is easily up there guys and I

would definitely get this one on occasion it really is that good

so as for the overall rating with all of that in mind I'm gonna have to give the

signature crafted double mushroom and swiss burger

mcDonald's a rock-solid 9 out of 10 guys you really can't go wrong with the

flavor on this one and if you're a fan of mushrooms in general easily this is

gonna be on your hit list for sure it delivers plenty of strong garlic

mushroom flavor on top of the aroma in addition to the fried onion strings

which are actually a nice touch they usually are and that's in addition to

the like garlic creaminess that I'm getting from that creamy Bistro aioli

which is really just a nice little add-on it looks great for advertising

but guys just a delicious burger overall and like I said get the double you'll

thank me for it now the question is are you gonna guys drop some comments down

 Americans are celebrating Thanksgiving this week, getting together with their families and enjoying a huge turkey dinner

 The holiday celebrates the fruits of the harvest, and has been celebrated in America since the 1600s - before the USA even existed as a country

 Workers are given the day off - and often the following day too so they can enjoy a four-day weekend

 But while Brits may have seen the celebrations on TV or films, they might not know all the traditions that go along with this big day

 So here's the big Thanksgiving traditions to be aware of. The food  A hearty meal is one of the most important Thanksgiving traditions for most Americans

 The central element of a traditional meal is usually a huge roast turkey. Alongside this are sides like mashed potato, stuffing, cranberry sauce and vegetables

 Americans also often talk about eating yams.  Yams are a starchy root vegetable grown in the Carribean

But Americans usually mean sweet potatoes instead.  The meal is often rounded off with a pumpkin pie

Pardoning the turkey  As a day of the year where people eat a lot of meat, it can't be a good time to be a turkey

 So each year the US President officially 'pardons' a turkey, and it is sent to live on a farm rather than heading for the dinner table

 The odd tradition dates back to 1863, when President Lincoln's son Tad asked him to spare the life of the turkey bought home for dinner

 The tradition became more formalised under the George H W Bush White House.  This year Donald Trump pardoned two turkeys, named Peas and Carrot

The parades  Many cities in the US host massive parades as part of the Thanksgiving Day celebrations

 The biggest and most famous is the Macy's parade in New York, which attracts thousands of spectators to the streets of Manhattan

 The three-hour spectacle features floats, costumes and giant helium balloons of famous cartoon characters

The sports  American Football games are a huge part of the long Thanksgiving weekend, and NFL and college teams have played on Thanksgiving practically since the game's invention

 It is one of the biggest days in the football calendar, and this year is no exception

 The three NFL games on Thanksgiving day this year are all big league rivalries:  Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions - 5:30pm GMT (12:30pm ET)  Washington Redskins vs Dallas Cowboys - 9:30pm GMT (4:30pm ET)  Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints - 1:20am GMT (8:20pm ET) Black Friday  The day after Thanksgiving every year is one of the busiest shopping days of the year

 People take advantage of their day off and massive sales at stores to make a start on their Christmas shopping

 Black Friday has become notorious for scenes of violence as mobs of customers fight over discount TVs
