USA news on Youtube Aug 31 2018

I'm at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

They've been cleaning this airport up a little bit lately...

but there is always something I have never been able to understand.

They finally have made a designated smoking area...

But there is so much regular garbage inside this thing, its gonna set on fire!!

And is the top of this thing really designed for putting out your cigarette?!?!?

At the end of the day, there are still cigarettes all over the ground!

I wonder why they just don't put some normal ashtrays...

Easy to use ashtrays and a garbage can could really help this situation out...

I'm inside the LAX International Tom Bradley terminal now...

I really believe we can do better than this garbage box situation...

Once you finally find a garbage can here to throw something out in....

they are overflowing with garbage!

You couldn't throw anything away if you wanted to!

Also, very different than Japan, there is nothing which clearly indicates what to throw away in each can.

I'm assuming from the shape of this it is for magazines and newspapers...

But over here, its not really clear what's going on...

Plastics mixed with combustibles...

It is a total mess!

I wish America would be a little more like Japan when it comes to trash collection and recycling...

There has to be a better way than this!

I'm in Japan now...

Compared to the garbage cans and ashtray garbage cans I saw at LAX, these are quite different.

As I mentioned in LAX, you really have no idea what to throw away where...

but here in Japan, it has been made very easy.

Personally I have never seen it quite to this degree though!

This is a testament to the extreme attention to detail the Japanese have.

Anyone can figure this system out... even if you cannot read, the pictures make it pretty clear what goes where.

Cans... Plastic Bottles, Glass and Boxes, Plastic items, and...

This is the first time I've seen compost as well.

Left over food and "soiled" paper go in here...

Newspapers, magazines... It's very easy to figure out.

It's pretty obvious from this set up that the Japanese are really serious about recycling.

In America we talk about recycling a lot...

but we certainly don't take it to this degree!!

Even if we don't go to this extent, I believe we can certainly come up with a better system than we have....

If you don't make it easy and understandable to use, people aren't going to even try to use it.

I have to admit that this may be overkill!!

There is so many cans you might actually get confused!!!

I'm sure there are people who just throw stuff inside one can without separating the items...

But with a system this easy, it would be a poor excuse not to cooperate in the proper separation of your trash.

You don't even need to read.. just follow the pictures...

Here at Paifico Yokohama they also have a very detailed, bilingual explanation of the entire recycling process...

"They have a goal for 100% recycling"

and work hard everyday to achieve that goal.

They appreciate your cooperation in the proper sorting of your waste.

This compost explanation is pretty interesting too...

The waste is taken to the Yokohama Incineration Facility...

then it is burned and turned into Boiler Energy and Power Energy...

That's cool to know how to works!

Very nice!!

This is another "Only in Japan" type of example

It's very impressive!!

Let's do better America!!!

As an American I think there is a lot we can learn from the Japanese in this respect...

Awesome!

Нью-Йорк вай! сити или мечта пацана сбылась / New York city or How the dream came truth - Duration: 27:08.

Hello how are you??

I wuold like to tell you about NY city

I made some videos there and created a short video

So lets go!

I have arrived in NY by ship

directly on Manhattan

I skip the flights and tickets and all this staff

I just woke up in the morning and saw New York

Giant buildings were sleeping in the morning fog

And with the first opportunity I ran to the city

I'm in!

First steps

through the NY

lets have a look what they can propose to us here!

Now Im heading to the Time Square

The city has amazed me with its scale!

I didnt know how to react

at all this, I was shocked

huge and great city. So to recover myself

I got some coffee and have moved further.

I saw guys screaming loud

people gathered around and they didnt know

what will happened next.

With the help of such perfomance and physical tricks

they earn money

in NY a lot of strange people

who are a looks crazy

in a strange outfit

or just earn money with in a very strange way.

for example this guy

there are a lot of street artists

whom you will find only there

they earn money also on the streets

selling there paintings, fotos

and peace of arts

so just simple walk

through the centre of Manhattan

will be great for sure.

Next day I went for a walk

and also visited Rockfeller observation deck

my friends gave me advice to go there

they said it is great to do this

to see NY from the top

although the building is old and was built in 30's

it looks really unique

it has Ar Deco style

building doesnt look like other simple highscrapers

it has beautiful paintings inside on the walls and ceilings

if you plan to visit NY make no mistake and go there

I bought a ticket smth like 20$

it was raining

It didnt stop me, I made it anyway

to see this beautiful view - NY from the top of the Rockfeller centre.

Which you have seen for sure in the dozens of movies and photos

it was really great that it was raining

because there were no people on the observation deck

and I had an umbrella

so the whole deck was just for me

like for the VIP guest from Ukraine

from one side you get an amazing view on the central park

from the other side on Manhattan

in the end

when I have fully enjoyed the view

I asked two ladies from France

who was also crazy like me under the rain watching NY

to take couple pictures of me

and after this I went back down.

the next day

I went for a walk a noticed that

all the streets were blocked

a bunch of policemen with the firearms

special dogs K-9

just like in a movie

in the sky were helicopters

a lot of trucks, I dont know why

SWAT squads. Everything was blocked

and in one of the streets they

blocked the movement completely

with the steel fences.

And we were staying like this for 15-30 mins

One policeman said that there is an OON leaders meeting in NY

and I just was passing by the hotel

where they held the meetings

the movement was stopped

because they was waiting for Trump to leave this hotel

but it didnt happen, they opened the way

the bunch of people mooved on to their jobs

I also lost my hope to see the new president of USA

suddenly the crowd start to come to the road and filming

what was going on...

That was Trump cortege

I even saw him in the window, he greet us like this

I think he has seen me and said hello to me, to Nikita))

So I quite sure it wa him

in his car

the window was dimmed

but I have recognized the silouete

one guy near me said also it was Trump

So it was him

and the next time in NY

I took Hop on Hop off Bus

such a nice tour through the city

for the tourists

it costs near 50$

seems a bit expensive,

but you can use this ticket for three days

I have used it for two days

in one day I made 1,5 hour trip

because I didnt have a lot of time

there are three types of the excursio

up through the Harlem passing the central park

an down through Manhattan to the Brooklyn bridge.

I'm in downtown of NY

heading to the Brooklyn bridge

to see it

one of the oldest bridges in NY

This is amazing city, it is just like "boiling"

Everything is very fast here

LIfe here is flying fast

I have to check my way

Almost there!

I got to the Brooklyn bridge

one of the oldest hanging bridges in USA

Its length is 1825 metres

it connects Brooklyn and Manhattan

In the beginning of its existence Brooklyn was a Holland village

and americans was europeans

the bridge has two decks

first one is the motorway

and the upper deck is for pedestrians and bycicles

you have beautiful view from there on Manhattan and part of the Brooklyn

in the price of Hop on Hop off Bus

you get the boat ride ticket

from Brooklyn back to Manhattan

and it passes the statue of Liberty

in this buses you have excursion guide

they will tell you about the sightseeings

I got really great one guy from NY

afroamerican like from a comedian movie

he was making jokes

and elates people in the bus

from the other side of the bridge

I found a pier and the boat.

Great view on Manhattan

and then you passing by

the statue of Liberty

it is just huge statue

in a neoclassicism style

It was a gift from France to the hundred year independence of USA .

You can also visit this statue with the excursion

and go up

in the head, in the crown there is observation deck

from there you can see whole state.

unfortunately I didn't get there, but maybe next time?

In the central park I went on Hop on Hop off bus

I jumped off near Guggenheim museum

but it was closed

and I went to the central park

I start somewhere in the middle of it

going down to Manhattan.

Now I'm in Central Park

There is a sea here in the park

Of course this is not a sea

it is reservoir, that makes nature around more alife and fresh

It is really cool here

seems like I'm in the forest

two seconds ago I was in the megapolis

and now in the forest

thats great.

I saw very familiar square

and was surprised why it is familiar to me

directly in my head I start to remember some movies

that were shot there

I understood that's why it seems to be familiar

I don't remember which movies exactly

it is really nice feeling

when you are in NY, to see different places

which you saw in the movies

and realize it is here where you are now

and it creates an effect of strengthening of effect

of the city.

and then I heard the nice music

which was coming from the tunnel

I just went there

and was really very surprised

there I found authentic NY blues jazz band.

They played great music

I really had a goosebumps from this live

perfomance.

I'm sorry for the quality of the record

but just listen this melody

so stop talking! Here they are!

If you know the name of this song

please write it down in comments and I will listen...

it's like that

write it...

never thought I will tell this stupid thing.

But it is just the way of communication here on Youtube.

So please just write to me or in the comments please

The name of this song

because I really want to listen to it in a good quality,

to enjoy it fully.

And we are going further to enjoy the NY city

Again we arrived in NY early in the morning

near 7:00 in the morning

watching the great sunrise over Manhattan

Hello! I'm heading to the museum of modern art

MOMA

want to check it

maybe some oficcial nice shop also

I just want to have a quick lunch

and I will try to come in the first place that I will see

A salad was okey

and after I went to MOMA, passing NBC studio

stumble across the traffic and crowd

and found the way again with the help of google maps

then I found oficcial MOMA store

was shocked with staff they sell in it

and also with the prices.

The cap with the NY logo

they sell for 48$.

I bought the same cap in Ukraine in the second hand store

for 8$.

A ticket to the museum was 20$

they have big exhibition

the whole 6 floors

a lot of interesting things.

Now I'm inside of the museum

I'm just like great art expert

Let's see...

Where is the exit??

It was really interesting exhibition

about modern fashion

About origin of hoody, Superstars shoes

why footbal fans start to wear polo t-shirts.

how did Jazz has affected fashion

where balaclavas coming from and how they became famous

Who made first parka and from which culture they are.

When and who made first prints on the t-shirts.

It was all about standard types of clothes which we are wearing everyday

and don't even think where it comes from.

There is also big collection of classic works

Mathis, Picasso, Van Gogh, Mone

great original works.

If you like art you will enjoy it.

It was museum of modern art

If you have noticed

in the middle of the museum they have LGBT flag.

The most popular art museum in the New York support LGBT community.

This is all I can say about this museum

But it is really nice exhibition inside

Very nice and unique collection

Such a great city

I don't want to leave it.

You can not stop to explore.

Allways watching around,

a lot of different interesting people.

But I have to come back to the ship

un fortunately

or maybe not

So let's catch a cab and go.

So this is last night today

We and my friends we plan to go In Brooklyn

Through the bridge for nice walk.

Really nice weather

We are in the NY underground

Alfredo!

Felix!

And Katie!

Ah, you are recording!

It is fresh in the train and here it is hot.

And we are here. At twelve o'clock they turned off the lights of the bridge

So if you want to make good photos of the bridge

Better to come here before twelve at night

Because we came shortly after twelve and saw how they turned off the lights.

Anyway we make some nice shots.

A little more on the right.

We have photograhed ourselves

with the camera on the tripod and long exposure

so we was able to get the photos with the words,

which we were making with the flashlight.

It is great to have some photos like this with the Brooklyn bridge background

We are on the Brooklyn bridge!

It is really amazing here.

Really really amazing.

It was really late already, near 1:00 PM, so there were almost no people

It didn't stop us and we continue our evening ride through the city.

We visited Time Square
