Greetings, Fleet Readiness Centers Team!
Labor Day is here and this is a time to celebrate YOU,
America's workers.
Over the last few months, we have had time to enjoy
warm weather and sunshine.
At the same time, you have also kept your focus on
our mission: supporting Readiness across the Naval
Aviation Enterprise.
Your dedicated efforts in keeping the aircraft
lines, In-service Repairs and components on target
continues to make an important and positive
impact.
I appreciate each and every one of you.
With summer coming to a close,
I can confidently say we are on track and your
efforts are showing results.
Now, we are coming down the home stretch for this
Fiscal Year 2018.
I am counting on you to stay the course and I'm
looking forward to a strong finish.
As we enter FY19, we need to maintain the Sense of
Urgency relative to our overall Component
Production efforts as we implement and sustain Drum
Buffer Rope and increase the capture rate of
components at our intermediate activities.
I wish you a good, safe and fun-filled Labor Day
weekend.
Celebrate yourself as well as your families and
friends.
You are America's workers‚ the finest and
the best.
As always, keep safety in the forefront this weekend
and on the job.
The fleet counts on us because we are an integral
