I'm back in the hostel I just took a nice little nap today was a long day
that he was in the tents I'm still sweating how am I still sweating anyways
so um I met a friend online so we're gonna meet up to have some drinks and
I'm really excited so so I'll post the link down below in the description box
but there's so many apps where while you're traveling you can meet other
travelers or locals so you're not alone so even when you're traveling by
yourself you're not traveling by yourself so that's what I use I actually
used couchsurfing to meet this girl so part of couchsurfing is this side to it
called hangouts so basically there's a bunch of people logged in wherever you
are and they kind of post like almost like ads asking to hang out so I went on
there cuz I was like you know what what am I gonna do tonight so went on there
and I looked through the ads and there's this girl and she's like oh who wants to
go grab a beer and I messaged her I'm like hey like I'm down let's hang out so
we're gonna go meet up somewhere that I already wanted to see like a little
touristy place we're gonna go to plaka which is like an old neighborhood so
we're gonna go there see what's going on which I'm really excited and I get to
meet somebody so I'm not alone there's actually my first time doing something
through an app I usually just hang out with the girls in the hostel which
they're not here so this is gonna be a first but I'm gonna take you guys with
me and hopefully it goes well and hopefully she doesn't mind me
vlogging a little bit but
we're just here in Papa and we're having some traditional Greek dinner delicious
I'm having I don't know what this is like stuffed vegetables the ones you get
and of course wine lots of wine so we're actually waiting for another girl she's
going to meet up for you and this is so beautiful days look around
there's our lovely host rate here you got it thank you
okay so I found two other girls from couchsurfing they're actually Greek so
we're here at this a bar called 360 really excited because it's gonna be
like a rooftop and it has like a full view of athens so it's gonna be really
pretty really oh god I mean apparently
it's the same car as my face is nothing bad I didn't notice that
okay
okay so we're gonna go up another floor
to the roof rooftop
that was still really cool down there like dancing yeah yeah
oh my gosh to the crop Liz right here
so cool
did you I said and like that alright so I'm back I know I probably
look a little crazy and probably a little drunk but it was
such a good night I'm so happy that I met those girls I don't even know what
else to say like I'm really really happy that I met them
of course like one of my biggest fears about traveling alone was that I was
just gonna be lonely but this experience just proved that I'm not like I'm gonna
meet people I'm gonna make friends along the way so I'm really really happy so
shadows girl thanks for showing me out and half those girls were actually
Athenian so they were able to show us a good time so that's it so I'm going to
