USA news on Youtube Aug 27 2018

After holding onto a gift from Princess Diana for over two decades, a yacht stewardess has put the royal's sweatshirt up for auction

The off-white Ralph Lauren Polo Sports pull-over with "USA" in red across the front, which Diana personally wore, is expected to fetch over $10,000 with RR Auction

Princess Diana gave the piece of clothing to Deborah Gribble, who served as the chief stewardess during a yachting trip she took with boyfriend Dodi Fayed, as a thank you for her service just before the royal's tragic death

According to RR Auction, Gribble served aboard the Jonikal, the luxury yacht owned by Fayed's father, Mohamed Al-Fayed

In July 1997, the couple cruised southern France aboard the yacht with Diana's young sons, Prince William and Prince Harry

The following month, Diana and Fayed enjoyed a romantic getaway to the Italian Riviera on the Jonikal

At the end of the trip, Princess Diana gifted Gribble the sweatshirt.  Gribble was one of the five staff members who joined the couple on their post-cruise flight from Athens to Paris

Diana, Fayed and their driver Henri Paul died in a car crash while trying to evade paparazzi less than a day later

Gribble recalled Diana as "relaxed, fun and light" aboard the Jonikal, away from the prying eyes of the shutterbugs, adding that the royal "traveled light" and was "never with full makeup

"  "I felt very privileged to be in this secret environment," Gribbed told Women's Wear Daily last year

"We anchored in beautiful secluded bays of Sardinia where the water is so turquoise and clear

Anytime Diana was in view in public the media was there. In this case, when she was not in view [to the public], there was no media

"  Remembering Princess Diana on the 20th Anniversary of Her Tragic Death  However, the vacation was missing some comforts of home

"She mentioned looking forward to getting back," said  Gribble. "She wanted to see her boys and she liked to go to the gym — that was a big thing she mentioned a few times to me

She also missed eating at more of a British time, which is at 6 or 7 o'clock as opposed to 10 o'clock in the Mediterranean

She really was living a totally different lifestyle than what she was used to."  Other items available for purchase include an autographed photo of Diana, a family Christmas card featuring Prince Harry as a baby and a handwritten letter to Diana's personal chauffeur

Noturnall - Unplugged Road Life - Episode 01 - Last Wish/Georgia Guide Stones/Mobile Recording - Duration: 14:15.

Well, Noturnall is here at the Georgian Guidestones,

in the United States.

And we have come to portray

something that served as inspiration for our third record, "9",

for an interesting reason.

These mysteries that surround human beings,

and when a certain group of people

come together in favor of a set of ideas

for changing the world.

That's exactly what our band does, is what we've got here:

some commandments, so to speak, from a group of people

who believe in the Age of Reason,

and those guys didn't want to be identified,

we can't know who settled these rocks.

The guy's name is R. C. Christian,

and it says to be a pseudonym.

Much is speculated about who were those people.

This tech label says they are people

who pursue the Age of Reason.

That's exactly what Noturnall seeks inside music.

And here at these stones, which inspired us in that matter,

there's this case of an age mostly driven by reason.

There are several commandments,

all of them are quite reasonable,

commandments that one is likely to agree with mostly.

But there's one that draws attention,

the first one, a shocking start:

We should not maintain humanity

above 500,000,000 inhabitants.

Considering we are currently about 7,000,000,000 people worldwide,

imagine what these guys have in mind

so that the world shouldn't exceed 500,000,000 people.

There are four plaques,

with a central one on top holding them,

eight different languages saying these commandments,

and there is also several geographic features.

They wanted to do something similar

to the Greek and Egyptian people,

who had this thing.

For example, the hole on the center of this rock,

you can check over the Sun as it reaches solstice.

Then you have the spots

where the sunlight passes and draws

where the Sun is going through the year

so you can tell the month you're in.

It's a totally enigmatic monument.

It's really...

a jaw-dropping thing.

You have to be here to realize

what is this feeling

that you get around here.

And of course, these are granite rocks,

they retain energy in a way that is different from other rocks.

Just by being here, you get this freak sensation.

We made some live sound here today,

with IK Multimedia equipment.

We decided to caputre it for real,

in order to try to bring into your house

what we felt when we were playing here.

It was really amazing,

one of the most unique feelings I've had in my life.

Well, we are here in the first episode

of a five-episode series from Noturnall with IK Multimedia.

I'm Fernando Quesada, Noturnall's bass and acoustic guitar,

and I'm here today to talk about

the mobile studio and mobile recording,

which works as a studio you can take everywhere.

In our case, we are traveling with Noturnall around Tennessee,

the cradle of rock and country music,

where we're shooting five videoclips

in some really cool touristic and historical spots.

We're also going to talk about these touristic spots,

the history and culture of country, blues and rock music.

And of course, we'll talk about how we made these records

since it's something different from the usual,

to be able, without socket, electricity and all of that,

to record more than 10 channels like we did, with drums included.

Our formation was drums, two acoustic guitars,

one of the songs had an acoustic bass,

plus lead vocals and two backing vocals.

That's a list of several channels,

to be mobile recorded.

And for that, we've got equipment from IK Multimedia,

which is today's most enabling brand for this kind of recording,

not only for the hardware we have here,

but also for the software and applications,

whether for iPad, iPhone, as also for computer.

You may see I'm using both laptop and iPad,

and I also use iPhones when recording.

I'll explain on this first episode a little about the setup

that we chose for these recordings,

so we can understand what equipment we'll use,

and if you've got a band, if you're an artist

and intend to go out there making your own records,

I'm sure this is the best choice

for the quality and the functionality

in your recordings.

So, let's introduce our setup.

Here I'll talk about interfaces,

about microphones,

softwares and appications,

supports and monitors, OK?

Basically that's what we use on a complete recording.

We've got the laptop here, which we use as our workstation,

so we take everyting we recorded from other devices

and place them inside a DAW.

The monitors, as you see we are in-house,

when we travel to make a mobile record,

usually we are hosted in a hotel, a house or apartment,

and we are able to set it up as a little work base,

where we can use it like a home studio,

for organizing the ideas after we are back from recording,

backup files, listen to how it sounds and so on,

so you organize things the best you can.

Here I've got the iLoud monitors,

they're from IK Multimedia too.

These ones are considered the smallest monitors

with the best studio definition currently available in the market.

They are really good monitors,

they've got a very good volume for monitoring

and checking the quality for real.

And when in mobile recording, for mixing and mastering,

you can also use them as your reference.

I'm using a computer for this.

Here I've got an iPad,

this iPad here has Amplitube running.

Amplitube is one of the applications we use

both in recording and mixing.

An iKlip, which is a holder to these iPads, sometimes to iPhones.

This one is for iPad, we use it while recording,

also from IK Multimedia.

And here at the center I've got the keyboard.

This keyborad is nice because it's also an interface,

it fits in that category.

In our case, Juninho played with it

and recorded straight on his phone, using SampleTanke,

which is a virtual instrument app also from IK Multimedia,

and plugged it directly in his phone for recording

both MIDI and Audio by using this one,

which is the iRig Keys,

one of the interface keyboards from the brand.

So, basically this is what we used here

in our entire recording:

iLoud reference monitors;

applications such as SampleTank and Amplitube,

which we used both in iPad and iPhone;

the controller keyboard, already as interface;

microphones - lapel, XLR and condenser,

for the acoustic guitars;

and the interfaces,

Pro Duo, HD2 and Pro I/O,

which enabled us to sum enough channels to record drums,

two acoustic guitars, acoustic bass,

and three vocals.

So, in the next episodes, you'll check out

how was the plugging of all this equipment,

and get the best out of your sound.

A Woman Couldn't Sleep For 9 Days. This Is What Happened To Her Colon. - Duration: 10:42.

A Woman Couldn't Sleep for 9 Days.

The medicine she used to help her sleep was less than optimal.

This Is What Happened To Her Colon.

JD is a 27 year old woman, presenting to the emergency room, unconscious.

Her boyfriend Jeff tells the admitting nurse at admission that she had been awake for the

last 48 hours before complaining of severe nausea.

You see, JD had been experiencing a strange insomnia over the past 7 months.

Some nights she would lay in bed, tossing and turning while hearing the morning traffic

build up in her window.

Some mornings, she would dreadfully watch the sun rise.

Without sleep, her quality of life began to rapidly deteriorate.

She was an attorney, and her job performance began to suffer, as she would have trouble

making court dates.

She began losing interest in her hobbies and her relationship began to suffer as she blamed

Jeff for the insomnia, but even after his absence, her sleep trouble worsened.

10 years ago, JD was diagnosed with a mild depression.

She was started on a low dose of quetiapine, with good results and never missed a dose

nor had any complaints about it.

About 3 months ago, JD began trying supplements to help her sleep.

Some nights, she'd sleep great, and others, she'd be wide awake for 2 consecutive nights,

exhausted by the third day.

Some supplements, became many supplements.

She'd mix and match, and take much more than she needed until finally, nothing worked.

She consulted a neurologist for her problems, who prescribed her cognitive behavioral therapy,

but in it, she found limited success.

She finally moved on to over the counter medication.

She started taking the PM branding of a drug named diphenhydramine, which helps with allergies

but also makes one drowsy.

It helped her sleep every night for a whole week, but she noticed that the medicine would

give her not only stomach pain, but also constipation.

Sometimes, she'd sit for 30 minutes, with limited movement, but finally being able to

sleep gave her new life.

Inevitably, the insomnia came back.

JD began to escalate the dose each night until she would take 4 to 5 times the recommended

dose each night to sleep just a few hours, before waking up unrefreshed and exhausted.

One evening, she was at dinner with Jeff.

She barely ate.

She told him that she hadn't had a bowel movement nor slept more than just a few hours for 9 days.

He stayed with her over night to make sure she'd be ok.

Her skin became pale as she started complaining of nausea and stomach pain.

Jeff fell asleep but as he woke up, he found her laying on her side, in a pool of cold

sweat, huddled up and unresponsive.

In a panic, he called 911 and she was brought to the emergency room where we are now.

Given this history of present illness, there are several clues as to what's happening.

At physical examination, JD was immediately identified to be in shock.

Her blood pressure was low and her heart, to compensate for this hypotension, was beating

at 150 beats per minute, 3 times that of average.

And she was completely unresponsive.

An abdominal CT scan finds that JD has Acute Megacolon.

Mega meaning enlargement and referring to the dilatation of the colon, or the large intestines

Acute meaning that there are no underlying pathophysiologic conditions that are leading

to this problem except for the massive doses of diphenhydramine JD consumed for her sleep,

which leads us to the first clue.

Diphenhydramine is an allergy medicine.

In most parts of the body, it blocks the chemical named histamine which is responsible for most

common allergic reactions, like itching from mosquito bites, and sneezing from pollen.

But in the brain, diphenhydramine blocks a different chemical that transmits signals.

This means that small amounts leads to mild sedation, helping with sleep, but by affecting

the brain and its nerves, diphenhydramine also slows down the digestive system, which

receives signals from the brain.

Large amounts of diphenhydramine can lead to an almost complete stoppage of the digestive

system which brings us back to the name of JD's condition Acute Megacolon.

If she had no bowel movements for 9 days, and CT scan did not reveal any mechanical

obstructions in her colon, then it means nothing was specifically blocking the way in her intestines.

But if that's the case, then why is her colon dilated?

Why is it megacolon?

Well, there's a few things to be known here.

First, the stomach and intestines form their own set of nerves called the enteric nervous

system, sometimes called the second brain.

This "second brain," controls the muscles of your bowel and cannot be actively controlled

by you, meaning you can't force your stomach to contract at will like you can your biceps.

But if the first brain in the head and the second brain in the gut both use the same

chemicals to transmit signals along the nerves, and JD's sleep medicine diphenhydramine

blocks the chemicals from transmitting signals in those nerves, then it means that high doses

of JD's sleep medicine were slowing down her gut to a high degree.

Inside the colon, because the digestive system is a giant tube from your mouth to the other

end, the pressure stays constant within, meaning that if one part is dilated, the pressure

has more or less, stayed the same and hasn't dropped.

This means that the tension at the wall of the dilated segment is elevated, and as the

colon keeps slowing down from high doses of diphenhydramine, and as tension keeps building

up, then blood can't flow through it, meaning those blood vessels will begin to crush up

against the sides of the wall, starving the tissue of oxygen as it slowly begins to necrose,

or quite literally die.

This necrotic tissue begins to lose it's muscular integrity, and as time continued

through JD's abdominal pain and distention starting from several days ago, the walls

of her colon began to weaken so much, that they finally perforated, spilling her intestinal

contents into her peritoneal cavity, causing bacteria from the gut to spill into her blood

stream, as they begin to flow freely, all throughout her body.

Just like how when you get an infection on your skin it becomes swollen, red and warm,

an infection that spreads into your blood causes your entire body to become "swollen,"

which translates to the body sending white blood cells systemically, promoting inflammation.

Because JD's situation isn't self-limiting, meaning it isn't containing itself, her

blood vessels have begun to vasodilate, causing her blood pressure to drop.

Her heart detects this and begins to beat faster in order to compensate for the loss

in pressure so that her organs can still receive blood, but as her brain starts to lose oxygen,

JD loses consciousness.

This dramatic escalation in signs and symptoms due to colonic perforation is known as septic shock

and means almost imminent death in JD's case, if treatment isn't initiated within

the next few minutes.

The notion of motor dysfunction in the gastrointestinal system is a persistent underlying theme that

has far reaching implications when it comes to seemingly unrelated causes of disease in

humans.

Opioids for pain control in the hospital can often cause gastric hypomotility.

This is a time when constipation becomes a common occurrence leading to fecal impaction.

If the patient is elderly and doesn't receive a stool softener, then it means they will

have to strain to pass a movement.

If they strain hard enough, their heart will temporarily stop and they can rupture blood

vessels in the brain causing a stroke, which leads to cerebral vasospasm days later, which can starve

the brain of oxygen leading to brain damage.

In the case of gastroesophageal reflux disease, stomach acid commonly splashes into the esophagus,

which isn't equipped to handle the low pH.

While laying down, this acid can enter the bronchioles of the lungs and trigger asthma

as well as damage the larynx and erode the enamel of the teeth.

The integrity of the esophageal mucus membrane is disrupted and the cells are damaged, leading

to Barrett's Esophagus which predisposes the patient to esophageal cancer, which can then undergo

a malignant transformation and then spread all throughout the body.

A common inflammatory bowel disease known as Crohn's Disease affects any part of the

digestive tract, at all layers of the bowel walls.

This is a state of mucosal inflammation that can seep into the smooth muscle of the colon,

paralyzing it, causing it to dilate.

The deep ulcerated parts of the intestines begin to degenerate and necrose as white blood

cells begin to swell into the tissue, causing it to rupture, giving way to toxic megacolon,

a more chronic condition with an underlying pathophysiology compared to JD's acute megacolon.

Her history of present illness all point to this.

The prior stomach pain.

The nausea.

The high doses of diphenhydramine in a desperate attempt to finally fall asleep.

Since the onset of shock appears to be relatively recent, it may not yet be too late for her,

she could still be resuscitated.

The first line of treatment is to remove the source of bacteria spreading into her blood.

She is admitted immediately to surgery and at laparotomy, or incision into the abdominal

cavity, massive colonic distention was found with evidence of perforation.

Her small intestines, and distal parts of her rectum were found to be viable and her

entire colon was removed.

Admission into the intensive care unit led to immediate initiation of antibiotics and

early goal-directed resuscitation as her condition began to stabilize over the following days.

The final thing to note here, is that JD's condition sould have been easily caught by

any health care provider, at any point.

Diphenhydramine as a medicine is a well known anti-cholinergic.

If a cholinergic does things like promote smooth muscle movement in the digestive system

and promote a "rest and digest" state of the body, then an anti-cholinergic prevents

digestive system movement.

Do you remember that quetiapine that JD was taking for her depression?

Well, quetiapine is also a well known anti-cholinergic, meaning the dangerous dual blockade of diphenhydramine

in large, prohibited doses in combination with quetiapine, which also exhibits anti-dopaminergic

and anti-serotonergic activity, both important neurotransmitters in "both" brains, virtually

stopped her digestive system from moving completely, and caused her colon to swell, crushing the

blood vessels, starving it of oxygen and causing the walls to perforate, leaking enteric contents

including gut bacteria into her blood.

JD's anticholinergic excess, produced from a drug interaction that should have been caught

by physicians, nurses and the pharmacist at the store where she bought the medicine, caused

this set of symptoms.

Luckily for her, it wasn't too late to begin early goal directed resuscitation in the intensive

care unit, and over a few weeks, her septic shock was resolved as she regained consciousness,

and her gut was surgically anastomosed, or rejoined together, without her colon.

And upon arriving home, a good nights sleep in her own bed, was waiting for her.

Thank you so much for watching.

Take care of yourself.

And Be well.

Cheeseburger Pizza: A Must Try American Classic? || Really Dough? - Duration: 13:04.

(dramatic music)

- [Scott] Dude, this is my first cheese burger pizza.

- People have tried it without a bun,

people have done different things with pickles and stuff.

- That sounds good actually, do you have any pickles?

- We got some pickles.

Can we get some pickles?

- You guys got picks?

- My name is Scott, I live and breathe pizza.

But Mark is a pizza purist.

- This is not pizza. (buzzing)

It's not pizza. (buzzing)

I'm about to kick you out.

- [Scott Voiceover] I'm trying to bring him

the craziest pizzas I can find.

They all claim to be pizza, but are they really dough?

(jazz music)

- [Mark] That's the original pizzeria,

they were bakers, I saved it.

- You saved a lot of stuff.

I found a Father's Day card in this book.

- This guy right here look.

I always said if I ever go to Italy

I want to go meet these guys.

So I go to Italy, and I didn't even realize

when I got back from Italy.

- That you had met. - I saw the book and I say,

you know what, let me look, and I was like, oh shit

I was making pizza with his son.

- But you didn't meet the parents?

- They're dead.

- Okay, so you can't meet them?

- No.

- But you're not, you're not making Naples-style pizza.

- No. - How crazy do they get

with toppings, when you were there?

- Not, no, not a lot of toppings.

- I saw them putting hot dogs and French fries on the pizza.

To me that's a little, - They did that in Naples?

- Yeah dude, they, that's a popular pizza in Naples.

- That's not a pizza.

- It is pizza, absolutely.

What about hamburger, okay, hamburger on a pizza.

There's a guy in Queens or something like that,

that's making like a cheeseburger pizza.

I think it's called Krave It.

- It's not pizza.

Sauce and cheese, that's it, done.

- Yeah but wait a second--

- If I put spaghetti on a hamburger bun is it a hamburger?

- No, because a hamburger is all about the meat patty.

- It doesn't matter.

- What do you mean it doesn't matter?

- It does matter. - It's not pizza.

- I'm telling you in Naples-- - In today's day and age,

it's not pizza.

- Whatever. - That's not pizza.

- Why not?

- Cheeseburger pizza.

- Different, but to me it's just a different kind of pizza.

- No, it's not.

- No, okay.

- So-- - Stop.

- That's it? (calculator whirring)

They would look at this, you know

they look at this and say this is not a pizza.

Do you think that they're making pepperoni pizza in Italy?

You know they're not.

I'm gonna bring some back, and I wanna watch you eat it.

Be able to persuade you that it is pizza.

I don't care if you like it or not, it is a pizza.

(somber music)

I made it all the way out here to Bayside, Queens

because Mr. Mark loves cheeseburgers.

So I'm gonna get him a crazy cheeseburger pizza

and bring it back as a reward

for finishing his accounting for the day.

Are you Vishee?

- Scott?

- Yes. - Yes, finally.

- Finally, good to finally meet you man.

I'm here for one pizza in particular,

I want that cheeseburger pizza.

- Okay, got you.

- Like, it's cheeseburgers on a pizza?

Even the bun?

- Even the egg.

(whistles)

- I'm here to blow your mind tonight.

- I gotta get one.

You mind making me a pie, I'll sit down we'll eat it?

- I got you.

- Thanks a lot, Vishee.

This is my first time at Krave It

and I've seen tons of pictures of all the weird pizzas.

And this cheeseburger pizza is definitely a stand-out.

And honestly, it makes me very nervous.

'Cause I love burgers, I love pizza,

I don't know if I can handle the combination,

I don't know if I'm strong enough.

- Sauce, cheese, and dough.

Scott, sauce, cheese, and dough.

Scott, sauce, cheese, and dough.

Pizza tastes best served right out of the oven.

It's not a pizza.

- What do you mean?

- It's not a pizza.

- I brought you some.

- Our pizza should look better than it tastes.

- Such a stickler.

- No exceptions.

Don't come back here and bring me this crazy stuff.

- Sauce, cheese, sauce, cheese,

sauce, cheese and dough, it's not pizza.

- I don't know if I'm strong enough.

- [Mark Voiceover] Sauce, cheese, and dough.

- [Announcer] Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.

Come on down to Krave It pizzeria to try

to conquer the world famous cheeseburger pizza.

These are three, that's right,

three different kinds of cheeses.

Grande mozzarella, shredded cheddar, sliced cheddar.

- The best cheese for the best pizza.

- [Announcer] And don't forget 30 all meat,

all American patties cut up into sliders,

and distributed around the pizza.

30 (bleep) patties.

- [Vishee] You wanna make sure every bite

has a burger on it.

- [Announcer] And while that's cooking up,

how 'bout we fry up eight whole eggs?

- Sunny-side up 'cause we like them runny.

We wanna get messy.

- [Announcer] It's no yolk.

- Gotta get messy at KraveIt.

- [Announcer] Cock-a-doodle-joke.

- [Vishee] Now we walk over to our buddies, our buns.

- [Announcer] Bun-day, bun-day, bun-day.

This pissed off pizza is egg-streme,

egg-regous, eggs-cellent.

Why don't you give it a fry?

- And we hypnotize with our homemade chipotle sauce.

- [Announcer] Super charged with sesame seeds and cilantro.

- Voila, boom, done.

F my life.

- [Announcer] Boom, done, F his life.

See for yourself, Scott.

(lips smacking)

- Uh oh.

(dramatic music)

(laughing)

- Ready?

- No, no, I, uh--

- Well you gotta get ready.

- I want to walk you through my emotions right now.

- [Vishee] Let's do it.

- Overwhelmed, confused, excited,

I'm hungry is my number four.

- It's like this is mind f-ing you right now.

- Seriously my mind is definitely getting hurt a little bit.

So, it starts with pizza dough, normal pizza style,

and then from there it goes off the walls.

Little meat slider patties, fries, bacon

the fried egg and then the buns, sesame seeds

and the Chipotle mayo on top of it.

- Ready?

(dramatic music)

(music mellows down)

Let it hit you, let it hit you.

(psychedelic music)

- There is drama in that bun.

Okay, cause at first I was scared,

I'm gettin' all this bun action.

- Bun action is good.

- Yeah but then the bacon came up.

- Yeah kicks you right in the ass with it.

- Yeah and spicy.

- That's the chipotle kickin' in.

- Oh it's the chipotle, oh my God, and then the egg.

You real...

This is over the top, right?

- Go big or go home.

- [Scott] This ain't your grand daddy's cheeseburger

or your grand mommy's pizza.

They all probably say, it's not pizza.

What do you say to them?

- This is the new age pizza movement.

- New age pizza movement.

- Yeah we're just here doing pizza our way,

our style and our style is street.

It reminds you of when you were a kid.

Reminds you of just a regular burger joint.

- [Scott] The egg though, what egg are you gettin'

on your regular old burger?

- Egg was just a last minute thing we threw on it.

Our first attempt was without the egg

and then one of my guys was like,

yo, let's try it with an egg.

I was just like, yeah, let's do the egg.

- [Scott] How does this fit in to the grand scheme

of New York style pizza?

- I don't think we fit in at all, we're outlaws.

People come in and people look at it

and they're like, what are they doing?

Fried chicken, waffles, cheeseburger pizza?

What are you doing?

When I say try it, they're like, holy shit.

And then from there it's just,

that's it, it's over for them, it's Krave It.

- [Vishee] That's it, it's over for them, it's Krave It.

Yeah, let's do the egg.

- I mean look,

I know, I know Mark,

is Mark. - Of course.

- And he's gonna think certain things about pizza.

To me this is absolutely a pizza.

- Nothing makes me more nervous more than

the old school traditionalist pizza guys

because those guys have been doing it forever

and I respect the hell out of them.

But now me as a newcomer, complete opposite

out of left field.

I feel like a lot of them might look at me

and be like what's going on?

What the f are you doing to pizza?

Are you sabotaging pizza?

- You obviously know Mark.

- Yeah, he's gonna be, why, what are we doing?

Then I feel like a lot of them will be like

you know what, this is good, it's a change, it's different,

you know it's 2018, everything is different now.

Maybe pizza needed this change,

not that pizza was boring,

'cause pizza could never be boring

but let's try to give pizza a little bit of a makeover.

You know, so, hopefully he's listening

and he can give some kind of love.

- Well honestly my definition of pizza is that,

it's a dough that has stuff baked on top of it

and I don't care if you add stuff

after it comes out of the oven.

I don't care if you add cheeseburgers.

I don't care if you add a used Honda afterwards,

like, it's a pizza.

It may be weird, it may look different

but the pizza that we're eating today is weird

to the people who were eating pizza 50 years ago.

- **

- And the pizza that we're eating right now

is gonna seem normal to the pizza

of a hundred years from now.

So, that's why I say,

no doubt in my mind, this is a pizza.

A weird pizza, and you are a weird man

but I love weird things.

We're definitely brothers in that sense.

- Just made my day.

- I don't think anybody can argue,

Mark can argue and he's like a stubborn guy.

- It's alright as long as I got your approval,

I can live with Mark, you know.

I know where he's coming from, he's old school.

It's good to hear from like pizza geniuses,

pizza guys, pizza connoisseurs.

- Thanks a lot man.

- Weird pizza.

(gentle music)

- Alright Mark, put down the phone.

Stop texting me, I'm here already.

Check this.

- What the-- - Cheese,

cheeseburger pizza.

- [Mark] Do you have a cutter for this thing.

- I got a small blade.

You have like one of those huge blades?

- I don't even know where to begin.

- You got like a mezzaluna, you know we could like,

(imitates splattering)

- No. - Nothing?

- Is that what that thing is called?

- Yeah.

- I'll do it.

- But go between the buns.

Don't interrupt the sanctity of the buns.

- I gotta get a pizza cutter.

- Okay, get a real one.

I'm gonna give it one cut, I think you're just a wimp.

- No, 'cause you're gonna mess it up.

Are you ready? - Yeah.

- What did you do?

- I cut a couple of them for you.

(suspenseful music)

How are you gonna attack this?

Are you gonna pick it up

and fold it? - I don't know.

We gotta get a plate for this.

- Here you don't have ketchup in your whole building do you?

- Are you kidding me?

- Look, this is what it is, it's a cheeseburger pizza.

You got a pizza crust, right?

There's cheese.

- What?

- There's sauce on here, that's sauce.

- Yeah. - Okay.

- You gonna tell me this is pizza?

- Look, I'm not telling you anything.

I've learned my lesson, I'm not telling you anything.

Just letting you do what you gotta do.

- [Scott] Wow, you got the bun in there too.

(intense music)

(Scott laughs)

- I was waiting to see your face

and it is worth every moment of waiting.

- My jaw hurts.

Yeah, you only took two bites.

- One bite.

- You're still working on bite number one?

- Uh-huh.

I'm done.

- [Scott] But, is this a pizza?

- This is a cheeseburger on, a bacon cheeseburger

with hard boiled eggs and french fries,

on pizza dough, not pizza.

- Okay, so this has pizza dough?

- [Mark] Yes.

- Okay, so that's one of your elements that you need.

- You just wanna argue for the sake of arguing.

- I'm just trying to make a point here.

What on this pizza is beyond the realm

of legality in pizza? - The buns.

- Okay, so what if we take off these buns,

I'm just saying for argument's sake.

Pizza or not a pizza?

- Not a pizza.

- What else that you see right now, violates pizza?

- Egg.

- If we like remove this egg,

pizza or not a pizza?

- The hamburger.

- That's illegal?

But what about if you take a meatball and slice it up?

- A meatball's a meatball, a hamburger's a hamburger.

French fries gotta go. - Okay.

- That's gotta go. - Okay.

- This gotta go. - Don't take the bacon off.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

You're taking the bacon off?

- I just wanted to eat the bacon.

- But you say, pizza or not a pizza?

- It's pizza dough. - It's a white pizza.

- It's pizza dough.

- It sounds like you're saying to me, not a pizza.

- I'll let you know if it's pizza.

(dramatic music)

- Pizza or not pizza?

- I don't know anymore.

(both laughing)

I really don't.

(triumphant music)

- Does that taste like pizza to you?

- It doesn't taste like any pizza I've ever had before.

But, I feel like academically speaking,

it's pizza, you know what I mean?

- Let's, I want to test your pizza knowledge.

What do you call a white pile of potatoes?

- What do you call it?

The uh, what is it, not the Flammkuchen,

the other stuff, not the onion stuff.

Flammkuchen is the Alsatian in the pile.

- I opened a can of worms.

(upbeat music)

- [Scott] To me, this is a pizza, to Mark.

- I don't know.

I love bacon, I love cheeseburgers.

I even love this orange stuff.

What is that?

- But if you wanna know for yourself,

you gotta go eat it at Krave It.

Thanks for watching Thrillist.

Check us out next time.

Now I'm gonna go in for one more piece, just 'cause I like.

- You didn't even finish that one.

- Yeah I know because it got all messed up

and it started, detach everything.

I just wanna feel what you felt on that first bite.

I know and I wanna--

- You gotta get all this stuff in there.

- That's what I'm, is that what you did?

I don't know man, I'm not, I don't have a big mouth.

- [Announcer] Alright I'll take it from cock-a-doodle-dough.

- [Man] Yeah!

- [Announcer] Cock-a-doodle-dough.

(coughs)

Safety Benefits of LED Lights // U.S. Energy Recovery - Duration: 1:10.

Hi I'm Sarah with U.S. Energy Recovery. Today, I'm gonna be speaking with you

about the many safety benefits of LED lights. Traditional lights convert up to

90 percent of their energy as heat, this makes the bulbs and fixtures hot to

the touch. While LEDs produce almost no heat and they are cool to the touch even

after being on for many hours. This helps to reduce the potential for safety

dangers such as fires and burns. LEDs are not made a fragile element such as glass

or filaments, making them much more durable this helps to prevent cuts and

scrapes from broken or damaged bulbs. Brighter white light that does not

flicker helps to create a safer environment by improving visibility.

This is especially important in dangerous environments with machinery and moving parts.

While other lights require a warmup period when turned on and can be

affected by cold temperatures, LEDs are instantaneous, pair well with motion

sensors, and are not affected by cold environments. This makes them an

excellent fit for outdoor lighting, staircases, and security applications.

Better quality lighting helps to protect your employees, customers, and inventory.

Should I Be Drinking a Superfood Green Drink? The power of Carotenoids. - Duration: 9:41.

PerfectGreens Organic Superfood Blend By BodyHealth

Hi, Dr. Minkoff here I want to talk about something that's very interesting in our

environment we're bombarded by free radicals. Sunshine, chemicals, dyes, heavy

metals, toxins, pesticides these all of these things come in the body as

positively charged unstable molecules that's what a free radical is. So if a

free radical is molecule has a positive charge on it and it's not a stable thing.

A stable thing has equal numbers of positives and negatives and so there's

no charge and it's a net zero. So if something comes in so just as an example

if you take sodium has a plus charge and chloride has a negative charge and you

put them together they make a happy couple because the one plus equals the

one minus and they're happy they're stable they're not reactive so in the

60s a radical with someone who is reactive they were burning down

buildings and blowing things up and making protests okay I was there I know

okay now that's a radical okay now and where there's plenty of radicals now we

have radical right radical left we have people who are unstable and they're

making noise someone who has. A molecule that has equal numbers of charges isn't

a radical it's a stable molecule so those things in the environment this is

a free radical and that's thing is not stable and he will not be happy unless

he can find a negative which is an electron

as a negative charge to go to that and now he's em and he's happy cuz his

pluses equal his minuses and he won't hurt anybody or he will burn any

buildings down or he won't tear the insides of your arteries apart so what

happens if this free radical enters here our cells lining the inside of your

arteries and this free radical comes in and he's unstable he's gonna grab an

electron from something and if he tears an electron off of the cell membrane

here sorry - he will then be okay but now this guy is left with an injury and

that injury requires repair because it's going to get inflamed and in many cases

in an artery the body's going to put like some cholesterol over the top to

provide a little bandage - to make sure that the injuries handled so in nature

what happens if you have a plant sitting out here and here's the sunshine and all

day long because radiation is a free radical event is the radiation is going

to hit that plant all day long and that plant can't put up an umbrella or put on

sunscreen or hide in the shade because it can't move and so these plants have

figured out a way to produce molecules which are anti free radicals and those

are called anti oxidants and what do they have in common they

have extra electrons they can donate to cause free radicals to not be radicals

so where do we get our antioxidants we get them from plants we get them from

fruits and vegetables with color and those are called carotenoids

from carotene and it's a class of molecules which are antioxidants in our

office a couple years ago we did a study to see do people have enough carotenoids

in their body to protect them from the free radicals that they're exposed to

because if they are protected from free radicals then the free radicals won't

injure their body it won't cause them to get damaged cells and inflammation and

so we had a very kind of interesting machine where you could put your hand up

against it and it would measure the level of carotenoids in the skin which

was correlated with a number of carotenoids in the blood and if you had

a number greater than 50 you had enough you were protected so if you walked in a

store and it was full of plastics and they were off gassing and you breathed

them in you had enough carotenoids or antioxidants to protect you against it

or you went and filled your carb with gas and you can you breathe gasoline

fumes and you could protect yourself from that so greater than 50 was right

but it required 8 to 12 servings a day of fruits and vegetables to reach that

amount and practically no one is eating that amount some people who are doing

daily juicing will reach it and they were greater than 50 but our practice

which caters to people who think differently and are

more health oriented the average was 18 so even in health-conscious people low

is normal we looked at children and the average children's level was 12 so these

kids were really bad and you know what qualifies in a school lunch four four

four carotenoids for vegetables is french fries and ketchup that's your two

vegetables and that makes it a legitimate meal okay so maybe that's not

going out of your house but that's what's going on in general so here's

what we did we did an experiment we said okay let's take a green drink in a

powder that has eight to ten servings it has actually ten servings of dehydrated

organic fruits and vegetables and we said okay every day takes one scoop of

this and put it on your salad in your smoothie in your soup it didn't matter

how you got it just take one scoop every day and we had everybody come back in

six weeks and weari measured their carotenoid levels using this skin method

and everyone was above 50 100% we did this on every patient for two years like

thousands of patients literally and it always worked so I can say to anybody

with your kids and yourself take one scoop of a concentrated green mixture

every day because it will protect you from free radical damage and it will

improve your health now the good ones have all organic certified fruits and

vegetable mixtures okay one scoop should equal about ten servings the very best

ones have some probiotics in them and they include things like turmeric and

other anti-inflammatory things at the same time too the fruits and vegetables

so that you get a nice blend and some of them have probiotic mixtures added to

them and those are even better and so you get this thing all together which

just makes any food a lot more healthy and in a pinch you're getting your basic

nutrition for the day in terms of antioxidants so take away ones take one

scoop take it every day have it in a smoothie most the the lot of these

tastes really good so they're easy to take it isn't like medicine and and

you'll be better and especially on your kids you know kids 12 way too low but

this is a way that you can ensure their nutrition to protect them alright hope

this helps
