BOOM! Trump Issues Jaw-Dropping Ultimatum to Dems 'I'll Close Down The Country'

President Trump has had it with the lack of security at our nation's border.

One of the TOP priorities of any president is national security, and this is a topic

President Trump WON the White House on.

So, as Democrats obstruct and block travel bans and The Wall, President Trump is fighting

back.

He's issued a jaw-dropping ultimatum, telling Democrats they either fund his wall, or he's

shutting down the country.

At a rally Saturday night in Washington, Michigan, President Donald Trump suggested that he'd

be willing to force a government shutdown during the next round of budget talks in September

if Congress continued to stall funding for a border wall between the United States and

Mexico.

Speaking to a large crowd about an hour outside of Detroit — in an area of the state once

heavily dependent on the auto industry to survive — Trump talked up his administration's

progress in righting "disastrous trade deals," and reviving American industry, according

to local media.

He also took credit, in large part, for several major foreign policy advancements, including

a tentative peace between North and South Korea, inked just this week.

But recognizing the crowd at his Michigan rally was similar to those crowds that joined

him on the campaign trail, Trump quickly pivoted to border security, claiming Congress had

abrogated its duty to the American people by refusing to fund a border wall in full

and without reservation.

If Congress didn't correct its course, Trump said, he'll block further attempts to fund

the government.

"We need security.

We need the wall," Trump announced.

"We come up again on September 28th, and if we don't get border security, we'll

have no choice.

We'll close down the country because we need border security."

"Nobody in the first year of office has done what we've done," he continued.

"Regulations, tax cuts, judges, you look at what we've done, nobody has done what

we've done.

… After years of rebuilding other countries, we're finally going to rebuild our country.

It's about time."The last budget package cost American taxpayers a whopping $1.3 trillion,

but only provided provisional funding for Trump's border wall — not the $25 billion

or so that the administration had requested, so that the wall could be funded through construction.

The Administration hasn't allowed that to slow progress, however.

The United States Customs and Border Patrol and the Department of Homeland Security have

already narrowed down the number of bids to build the wall, and prototypes are going up

in the southern California desert.

over what Mueller's next report might unveil.

Democrat Senator Bob Casey came out of left field and actually warned Mueller not to released

any reports near the 2018 election.

Sen. Bob Casey Jr. (D-Pa.) on Sunday warned special counsel Robert Mueller against issuing

a report on his findings in the ongoing investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election

near the upcoming 2018 midterm elections.

Speaking to radio host John Catsimatidis on New York radio station AM 970, Casey said

he couldn't make any assumptions about where the Mueller investigation is going in light

of indictments issued on Friday.

But he added that he would recommend Mueller not release a report on his findings near

the midterms, when it would distract from elections or cause people to question the

election's integrity.

"I don't think we'll know anywhere near the full story until [Mueller] issues his

report," Casey said.

"But once you get into the summer, and you get close to the election, I think it's

a mistake for him to release it late.

I think you should wait until after [the election]" Casey said.

On Friday, Mueller's team issued indictments against 13 Russian individuals for conspiracy

to influence the U.S. elections in 2016, tying them to propaganda and misinformation efforts

aimed at swaying the electorate in favor of President Trump.

Top intelligence officials warned the Senate this week to expect further operations by

Russia in 2018 to influence the upcoming midterm elections, that included

probes

of

state

electoral infrastructure.

Democrats are in a world of trouble.

They spent the better half of a month claiming President Trump's tax bill would "kill

people," and be the end of society as we know it, only to find out that the historic

tax break is boosting the economy, putting more money in American's pockets, and the

country is thrilled with the outcome.

Elitist Democrat leaders like Nancy Pelosi called the bonuses and wage increases Americans

received "crumbs," further pushing the party farther and farther to the brink of

anti-American obscurity.

This new poll reflects the issues and problems Democrats now face, after trashing America

First polices, yet supporting and working hard for illegals and refugees.

According to a new New York Times tax cut poll, a majority of Americans now officially

approve of "Armageddon" and appreciate those "crumbs" their employers are giving

them.

Back in December, Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi infamously warned Americans

that the Republicans' $1.5 trillion tax cut would be "the end of the world."

"The debate on health care is life, death.

This is Armageddon," a frantic Pelosi told the press about the Republicans' tax bill.

"This is a very big deal, because you know why?

There's really a very hard way to come back from this."

Even after "the end of the world" came and went, and millions of Americans had already

begun to enjoy the tax breaks, Pelosi scoffed at the "crumbs" hundreds of businesses

across the country were handing to employees via bonuses, wage increases and other benefits.

But the numbers never lie, and more and more of the 80% of Americans who will ultimately

see more money in their wallets because of the tax reform bill are realizing that the

Democrats and the left-leaning media sold them a bill of goods on the allegedly apocalyptic

tax law.

The Times reports that 51% of Americans now approve of the GOP's new tax law; 46% now

disapprove.

The poll (conducted Feb 5-11) shows a 5% increase in approval since January and a dramatic 14%

increase since December, when Trump signed the Republican-crafted bill into law.

Though Survey Monkey's chief research officer, Jon Cohen, noted to the Times that the bill

still isn't that popular, he admitted that public opinion is "moving in the direction"

of the GOP bill and is "dramatically different" since some of its changes have gone into effect.

"This isn't a problem yet for Democrats, but the movement isn't a positive one,"

said Cohen.

What is worse news for the Democrats is that, as the Times poll shows, only a third of the

respondents actually expect to receive a tax cut, when in reality, about 80% will see savings.

In other words, Democrats should expect approval of the Republican-passed, Trump-approved comprehensive

tax reform bill to continue to rise as more people experience its benefits firsthand.

Republicans are quite aware that the polls are "moving in the direction" of their

bill.

In fact, they've already begun capitalizing on Pelosi's notorious "crumbs" comment:

Hillary Clinton is undoubtedly furious right now after it was confirmed that Bill Clinton

played a major role in convincing Donald Trump to run for president.

Daily Mail reported that in her new book, New York Times reporter Amy Chozick alleges

that Bill encouraged Trump to run for president while golfing with him one year before the

2016 election.

The two would golf together frequently in New York, as they had been friends for years.

Chozick wrote that Bill "causally encouraged" Trump to run for president, saying his candidacy

"would roil the Republican field."

As a smug liberal, Bill assumed that Trump would never be able to beat Hillary, but boy,

was he wrong!

Chozick also confirms that Bill really did meet with then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch

on the tarmac of the Phoenix International Airport in June of 2016 to try and convince

her to not charge Hillary for her use of a personal email server during her time as Secretary

of State.

Chozick described this infamous meeting as a "mild charm offensive that he thought

would help Hillary."

Days after the meeting, Lynch announced that Hillary would not be charged.

However, the meeting with Bill blew up in their faces when the American people found

out about it, as they accused him of influencing Lynch to save his wife.

In her book "Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns and One Intact

Glass Ceiling," Chozick portrays Bill as a huge liability on Hillary's campaign.

A liberal herself, Chozick said she alternated between feeling "blessed to be in this brilliant

man's presence – and total exhaustion from his self-absorption and driveling on."

She added that she believed Bill "rambled on because of some internal hole" he needed

to fill.

This has all undoubtedly caused an even further strain on the Clinton marriage, as Hillary

will likely always somewhat blame her husband for her loss to Trump.

Trey Gowdy Shut Down Robert Mueller's Criminal Case With One Announcement

Robert Mueller is scheming to build a criminal case to remove Donald Trump from office.

But that all came to a screeching halt thanks to Trey Gowdy.

Gowdy just shut down the criminal case with a jaw dropping statement.

Gowdy appeared on Fox News and responded to an interview given by former FBI Director

James Comey.

Comey had been grilled about reports that he had told Congress the FBI did not believe

former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn lied to the FBI.

Mueller later forced Flynn to plead guilty to one count of making false statements to

investigators.

During the interview, Comey claimed he never told Congress the FBI agents who interviewed

Flynn did not believe he lied to them.

But Gowdy shut that down by revealing that there are transcripts of Congressional testimony

where Comey says that is exactly the case.

The Flynn investigation is the lynch pin of Mueller's obstruction case.

Mueller will try to claim Trump ordered Comey to go easy on Flynn—then fired him to shut

down the Russia investigation.

But if the FBI already believed Flynn was truthful when they interviewed him then he

was in no danger.

There was nothing to obstruct.

Mueller's investigation is a witch hunt to get to the President.

And he strong armed an innocent man – Flynn – into pleading guilty by threatening him

with financial ruin due to legal fees from a never-ending investigation.

Trump is also innocent of collusion with Russia and obstruction of justice, but Muller continues

to press forward out of crazed hatred for the President.

But his case is collapsing.

Trey Gowdy's interview was the latest proof that Mueller has nothing.

Obama Rips into NRA and 'Mendacious' Allies in Time Piece Praising Anti-Gun Students

Former President Barack Obama, repeatedly rebuffed in his attempt to impose his brand

of gun control on the American people, this week launched another attack on the National

Rifle Association.

In an op-ed published by Time, Obama praised the anti-gun effort that has used the Marjory

Stoneman Douglas High School shooting as its rallying point and the students as its vocal

representatives.

"The Parkland, Fla., students don't have the kind of lobbyists or big budgets for attack

ads that their opponents do.

Most of them can't even vote yet," the former persident wrote.

Obama's column was released a day before Parkland students joined with Hollywood celebrities

in a major, big-budget effort to attack the NRA, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

He wrote that the students "see the NRA and its allies — whether mealymouthed politicians

or mendacious commentators peddling conspiracy theories — as mere shills for those who

make money selling weapons of war to whoever can pay.

"

Obama, whose efforts to attack gun rights were stymied by Congress, returned to his

criticism of the GOP for not embracing his agenda.

"A Republican Congress remains unmoved.

NRA scare tactics still sway much of the country," he wrote.

Obama then made the leap to connect the attack on gun rights with the politics of minority

and immigration issues.

"As these young leaders make common cause with African Americans and Latinos — the

disproportionate victims of gun violence — and reach voting age, the possibilities of meaningful

change will steadily grow," he wrote.

"Our history is defined by the youthful push to make America more just, more compassionate,

more equal under the law.

This generation — of Parkland, of Dreamers, of Black Lives Matter — embraces that duty."

Obama's latest attack on the NRA brought a spirited response from NRATV's Grant Stichfield,

who noted that policies put in place during Obama's presidency limited the power of

schools to address disciplinary issues, according to The Hill.

"This liberal 'no discipline for rule-breakers' policy was a contributing factor that enabled

the shooter to wreak the havoc that he did.

… While you left educators defenseless, while you pushed policies that barred violent

students from being arrested, while you railed against the NRA, your daughters, yourself

were all protected by armed guards," Stinchfield said, adding that Obama rejected the NRA's

efforts to promote school safety.

"Instead of doing the right thing, instead of working with us to install common-sense

security in all of our schools, you continued to attack the NRA and its nearly 6 million

members," he said.

"Here is the stone cold truth: If Barack Obama is writing anything that deals with

the Parkland students, it should be an apology," Stinchfield said.

Obama's contention that the media buzz surrounding the Florida shootings will cause a seismic

shift in voting patterns is not borne out by the facts, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

In a recent report on the politics of the Parkland shooting and its aftermath, it noted

that in six of Florida's seven largest counties, voter registration among those ages 16 to

25 has declined since 2014.

Millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars were being foolishly wasted paying for the salaries of

non-existent "ghost" soldiers Well, folks.

In an interview with Sharyl Attkinson of Full Measure, special inspector general for Afghanistan

reconstruction, John Sopko, it was all but confirmed that millions of US taxpayer dollars

were wasted away under the Obama administration on the salaries of "ghost" or non-existent

soldiers and policemen in Afghanistan

"We've been raising this concern about ghosts going back a number of years," Sopko

said.

"Actually I want to say we heard about it from (Afghan President) Ashraf Ghani years

ago, before he became president, he warned me about 'ghosts,' so we started looking

three years ago."

WHO ARE THESE GHOSTS?

"What we're talking about are policemen, Afghan policemen, Afghan military, Afghan

civil servants who don't exist or they have multiple identity cards and we're paying

their salaries," he explained.

"By 'we' I mean the United States and the international community.

And we started finding out that we had no capacity to measure the number of soldiers,

teachers, doctors, military people who we are paying their salaries."

Fox News had even reported as early as October 2016 that, based on a Sopko letter released

to the Pentagon, the fraud could have amounted to more than $300 million annually.

"In January 2015 we reported that more than $300 million in annual, U.S.-funded salary

payments to the Afghan National Police were based on only partially verified or reconciled

data, and that there was no assurance that personnel and payroll data were accurate.

We found similar deficiencies during the course of our April 2015 audit of Afghan National

Army personnel and payroll data," wrote Sopko.

IT'S MAJOR FRAUD…

That's not just fraud, folks.

In fact, according to Sopko, it's "Major fraud.

And what's happening is the commanders or generals or other higher officials are actually

pocketing the salaries of the ghosts."

"And I remember President Ghani again, at that time he wasn't president, saying, 'John,

you the United States government are paying the salary of an Afghan who's a teacher,

he's a civil servant, he's a doctor, he is a policeman, and he's a soldier.

And it's the same Afghan.

And he doesn't exist,'" Sopko explained.

"It's not just the salaries," he added.

"But we're funding schools based upon the number of students, so if you invent or

inflate the number of students, you're going to be paying more money.

On the soldiers and the police, we're paying for extra boots, for food, for everything

else, logistics for numbers that don't exist."

SOPKO TOLD THE PENTAGON NUMEROUS TIMES…

This is bad enough as it is, but to make matters worse, apparently Sopko had alerted the Pentagon

on numerous occasions to what he had discovered in 2016, but…as you can imagine…the Obama

administration did practically nothing about it.

Thankfully, though, there's a new sheriff in town, and proper measures are finally being

put into place to put an end to this nonsense.

According to the Independent Journal Review, Attkinsson notes that the Pentagon is implementing

a biometric system that will be checking fingerprints, photos, and even blood type in order to verify

"proof of life" and get rid of the "ghosts."

She added that the Pentagon said it had "up to 95 percent of the Afghan police and 70-80

percent of soldiers" enrolled in the program.

Don't get me wrong.

It's very encouraging to hear that we're finally addressing this issue and taking measures

to get this under control, but it's equally discouraging to think about all the millions

of taxpayer dollars that will never be recovered.

The investigators in this case said late yesterday that the information provided to Fox News

Newly discovered text messages between the FBI lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page may

now be pointing to the fact that high ranking FBI officials, CIA officials, Justice Department

officials, and Senate leadership did, in fact, coordinate with the Obama White House.

This systematic coordination started during the initial investigation of the fake Russian

/ Trump campaign collusion.

It was brought up by the Hillary Clinton Campaign when they paid for a fake opposition research

dossier on then-candidate Donald Trump.

The investigators in this case said late yesterday that the information provided to Fox News

"strongly" suggests coordination between former President Barack Obama's Chief of

Staff Denis McDonough, then-Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, and CIA Director John Brennan

which they say would directly "contradict".

The official Obama administration's public stance about its hand in the process.

More on these new finding via Fox News: "Page texted Strzok on Aug. 2, 2016, saying: "Make

sure you can lawfully protect what you sign.

Just thinking about congress, foia, etc.

You probably know better than me."

A text message from Strzok to Page on Aug. 3 described former FBI Deputy Director Andrew

McCabe as being concerned with "information control" related to the initial investigation

into the Trump campaign.

According to a report from the New York Times.

Brennan was sent to Capitol Hill around the same time to brief members of Congress on

the possibility of election interference.

Days later, on Aug. 8, 2016, Strzok texted Page: "Internal joint cyber cd intel piece

for D, scenesetter for McDonough brief, Trainor [head of FBI cyber division] directed all

cyber info be pulled.

I'd let Bill and Jim hammer it out first, though it would be best for D to have it before

the Wed WH session."

In the texts, "D" referred to FBI Director James Comey, and and "McDonough" referred

to Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, the GOP investigators said.

(Reuters) "We are not making conclusions.

What we are saying is that the timeline is concerning enough to warrant the appointment

of an independent investigator to look at whether or not the Obama White House was involved

[in the Trump-Russia investigation]," a GOP congressional source told Fox News.

An FBI spokesman did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.

The congressional investigators pointed out to Fox News that the CIA and FBI are supposed

to be "independent agencies."

And noted that "coordination between political actors at the White House and investigators

would be inappropriate," raising questions about the level of involvement of Obama White

House officials.

But weeks later, on August 25, 2016, Brennan went to Capitol Hill to brief Harry Reid — and

it was unclear whether FBI officials attended the briefing, a congressional source told

Fox News.

Two days after the briefing, Reid penned a letter to Comey requesting an investigation

into potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

"The evidence of a direct connection between the Russian government and Donald Trump's

presidential campaign continues to mount and has led Michael Morrell.

The former Acting Central Intelligence Director, to call Trump an 'unwitting agent' of

Russia and the Kremlin," Reid, a Nevada Democrat, wrote.

"The prospect of a hostile government actively seeking to undermine our free and fair elections

represents one of the gravest threats to our democracy since the Cold War and it is critical

for the Federal Bureau of Investigation to use every resource available to investigate

this matter thoroughly and in a timely fashion."

Reid cited reports in his letter, noting "methods" Russia was using to influence the Trump campaign

and "manipulate it as a vehicle for advancing the interests of Russian President Vladimir

Putin."

Reid added that "recent staff changes within the Trump campaign have made clear that the

Trump campaign.

Has employed a number of individuals with significant and disturbing ties to Russia

and the Kremlin," urging Comey to make the investigation "public."

The following day, Aug. 30, 2016, Strzok texted Page: "Here we go," sending a link to

the Times report titled, "Harry Reid Cites Evidence of Russian Tampering in U.S. Vote

and seeks FBI inquiry."

Strzok replied: "D [Comey] said at am brief that Reid called him and told him he would

be sending a letter."

Congressional investigators suggested that the Reid letter possibly provided "cover"

for the fact that the FBI and Justice Department had already begun investigating the Trump

campaign in mid-July on what they called "questionable ethical and legal grounds."

"The 'here we go' text between Strzok and Page indicates the FBI/ DOJ knew the letter

from Reid was coming," a congressional source told Fox News.

"This created the inference they knew it would create public calls for an investigation

into Russian interference — covering them."

Sources did confirm that they weren't passing judgment on or claiming to have a smoking

gun into what went on in the Obama White House when it came to this issue.

But that it does give them a good amount of concern that the Obama White House

May have possibly lied to investigators and the public about how involved they all were

in this obvious attempt to take out a duly elected President.

It's obvious that whatever went on here former President Barack Hussein Obama knew

more than what he claimed.

And since he is for all intent and purpose the leader of the Democrat Party, who is used

to getting away with murder while the GOP sits quietly, he has to have had more to do

with this attempted overthrow of a Trump's presidency before he was even elected.

If these texts do prove to be a smoking gun it's possible that Obama and most of the

people around him at the time this happened will have to face legal consequences.

Especially when you consider this whole episode makes the Nixon Watergate scandal look like

a candy bar theft at your local convenience store.
