BREAKING: Fox News Releases Major Statement On Sean Hannity's Future At Network

Fox News released a statement on Tuesday about host Sean Hannity's future at the network

following reports that he was associated with Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's

personal attorney.

In a statement to The Daily Wire, Fox News said Hannity has the "full support" of

the network:

"While FOX News was unaware of Sean Hannity's informal relationship with Michael Cohen and

was surprised by the announcement in court yesterday, we have reviewed the matter and

spoken to Sean and he continues to have our full support."

The statement from Fox News comes after the media hyperventilated after Cohen revealed

in a Manhattan federal courtroom on Monday that Hannity was once a client.

The news sent shock waves across social media and cable news, where political hacks and

leftist talking heads were determined to portray Hannity as a criminal for once talking to

a lawyer.

Heaven forbid one of the most well-known men in the country speak with lawyers to ensure

he's following the law.

Following the report, Hannity released a statement saying he only sought legal advice from Cohen,

and that Cohen "never represented me in any matter."

On Monday, Hannity said via Twitter that the advice he got from Cohen was "almost exclusively

about real estate."

Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter.

I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees.

I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which

I wanted his input and perspective.

Hannity added through a spokesperson that he "assumed those conversations were confidential,

but to be absolutely clear they never involved any matter between me and a third party."

"I think it's pretty funny," he said.

"It's very strange to have my own television network have my name up on the lower third."

Hannity has been the most watched cable news host for many years.

He likely speaks with hundreds of analysts, experts, lawyers, and consultants about a

number of things.

While liberals desperately want people to believe Hannity is a criminal and should be

fired, many are happy to see that Fox News is standing by him.

Judge Kimba Wood, who is presiding over the case against President Donald Trump's personal

attorney Michael Cohen, was nearly nominated by then-President Bill Clinton to serve as

attorney general in 1993.

Wood was hand-picked by Hillary Clinton, who had been asked to submit a list of possible

nominees for her husband's consideration.

Wood first raised eyebrows when the Clinton White House learned that she had trained to

be a Playboy bunny while still a student.

She was later forced to withdraw herself from consideration when it was revealed that she

had employed an illegal immigrant as a nanny.

Wood's relationship with Clinton is now causing at least one Trump supporter to call

for her recusal.

Former White House adviser and frequent Fox News guest Sebastian Gorka tweeted on Monday

that she should not be allowed anywhere near this case.

During Monday's hearing, Judge Wood ordered Cohen to expose the identity of a previously

unnamed client.

Fox News host Sean Hannity was revealed to be the mystery client.

Hannity has said that he only asked Cohen, a friend, for legal advice and he never

retained

or

paid him

for any

legal services.

The Department of Justice Inspector General report on the "lack of candor" by FBI

deputy Director Andrew McCabe also documents for the first time the Obama administration's

effort to shut down the bureau's investigation of the Clinton Foundation, according to a

review of the report by The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group.

The inspector general (IG) confirmed in its long-awaited report released Friday that in

2016 the FBI had ongoing field investigations of the Clinton Foundation in New York, Los

Angeles, Little Rock, Arkansas and Washington, D.C.

The multi-city investigation was launched when agents found "suspicious activity"

between a foreign donor and Clinton Foundation activity in the Los Angeles area, as TheDCNF

reported in August 2016.

The report, authored by Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz, an Obama appointee, chronicles

the Justice Department's effort to to shut down the FBI's investigation on Aug. 12,

2016.

The pressure allegedly came in the form of a phone call to McCabe from a Justice Department

principal associate deputy attorney general (PADAG) who pressed McCabe on the continuing

investigation.

The IG did not identify which PADAG made the call.

Jeff Sessions needs to re-open this investigation.

BOMBSHELL: Mueller Breaks Silence, Issues New Warning To Media About Trump-Russia Stories

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has broken his silence and issued a rare statement on

Monday after a left leaning news outlet published an unverified story about President Donald

Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen.

Last week, McClatchy published a report claiming Mueller has evidence that Cohen visited Prague

during the 2016 presidential election campaign.

If true, it would have validated claims made in the anti-Trump dossier.

But as noted by The Daily Caller, the McClatchy report was so demonstrably false and untrue

that Mueller's office released a statement about the media's continued efforts to spread

unverified reports.

Here's the statement from Mueller's office on the media's Trump-Russia stories:

"What I have been telling all reporters is that many stories about our investigation

have been inaccurate."

"Be very cautious about any source that claims to have knowledge about our investigation

and dig deep into what they claim before reporting on it.

If another outlet reports something, don't run with it unless you have your own sourcing

to back it up."

Nearly a week after the McClatchy report, no other media outlet has touched the story

or corroborated the claim that Cohen was in Prague, which he has denied numerous times.

In fact, the McClatchy story was so bad that even Benjamin Wittes — a staunch never-Trumper

and ally to former FBI Director James Comey — said it was "a little too good" to

be true.

"The sourcing is relatively thin," Wittes wrote via Twitter on Saturday.

"It is sourced to two sources familiar with the matter, who are presumably not Mueller

shop folks.

It's not clear to me what the universe of people who would know this sort of thing from

a distance looks like."

"The story does not, actually, say that Michael Cohen was, in fact, in Prague at the

relevant time," Wittes continued.

"It says that Mueller's investigation has developed some evidence that he was in

Prague.

It gives no sense of how much evidence or what type of evidence—or how credible it

is.

Mueller breaking his silence and issuing a bold warning to the media about most of Trump-Russia

stories being incorrect is very telling.

He has largely remained silent since being appointed last May, meaning his decision to

warn the media about their many fake news stories speaks volumes about how bad it has

gotten.

After nearly a year of investigating, Mueller's office has not found a shred of evidence proving

collusion took place between Trump's campaign and Russia.
