today I am a little bit extra excited
Because I am using the sticker sheet that came with my seasonal surprise box. If you don't know,
Which I didn't know until a couple months ago, Erin Condren four times a year comes out with a surprise box
It's a good value because you don't know what's coming in it

kind of a pre-release

Anyways back on track. I love this kit because
It is rainbows
and I love rainbows and they're like it almost is kind of like two kits mixed together
I mean this in the nicest way, but you have like the flowers and it's like
the kind of some of the flowers and
The clouds kind of go in one direction. It's a cloud some of the clouds kind of go either way
But they fit with the watercolor theme of some of the flowers
And then it kind of has this like old-school theme with how the roses are
But think of these like super bright solid
Umbrellas and the sentiments. it does manage to go together
But you could totally split them up and have them be very different
And this kit gives me a lot of confusion because the roses remind me so much my mother
but then that you know those umbrellas those are so me so you know I
don't know what to make of this kit, but I'm just excited to use it up
I use almost everything except for a couple of the rain drops, so that was pretty good. I tried real hard
You're not gonna see in this video because didn't get me anywhere
But I try hard to use like every single raindrop
and I'm just like I'm just ruining it at this point so I gave my daughter them. she
Appreciated it cuz she always loves getting my stickers
And yeah, so this week
Monday I forgot write it in my planner, but Monday my daughter's up in school, so it's just like a mom and Ellie day
So that's pretty open, and I'm Tuesday she started skating which is gonna be so fun
It's her first time doing skating lessons if you don't know she's four years old. She's like still super little and adorable
and we
Went yesterday to get her some skates
So cute her trying on skates. She just looked so
Freaking cute, and then she got a little helmet
She really wanted like a pink helmet her skates and or a blue helmet
But we had to get black skates and helmet just cause she's so little there wasn't very much variety there
Actually was pink skates, but they were
the cheapest ones there
And they were super hard to put on
For some reason like all the way up was plastic and we could barely get her foot in without her screaming and then like for
$20 more the tongue part came like all the way down
And she was super comfortable so of course we're gonna get those ones where she's not like crying
I don't even know how these sell those shoes probably just cuz they're pink and they're only $40 but
It's like
So it was took us like 10 minutes to try to try on these
Hockey skates, and they were the first ones we tried on so of course. I'm like oh my god
This is gonna be a total disaster. You're not going to skate but then we tried on the $60 skates. It was totally fine
Sidenote. I just like really thought. It was clever when I have had that bird holding the umbrella.
Sometimes I watch my own videos, and I'm like oh, I'm so awkward what the hell, but half the time
Honestly, I'm like I'm really cute
So you know it could go either way, right?
that moment I felt like I was just being really adorable
I hope that like everyone feels that way
about themselves
It's just so easy to be hard on yourself and be so critical of yourself. I like to say I'm a perfectionist
in recovery
Like literally my mantra and my affirmation has been like let's be loosey-goosey
and it's just so silly ridiculous, but it has to be because
I'd have notebooks and planners that I wouldn't write in because I wanted them to be perfect and
I'm almost like on the extreme now
Where at times I'm like this is just ridiculous, I'm just recking this, this is so awful like I should try a little harder
But I feel like I have to go through the things where it's just like
Absolute crap where I'm not trying to kind of get over the fact that
It's not always gonna go perfectly when I am trying, if that makes sense so
I feel like I the fact I can just focus on like silly little things and think that I'm cute and impress myself is a
Good thing and I hope everyone can just look for the cuteness
That they do... I totally went off on a weird change in there where I was like a motivational speaker
Which I try not to do
Because everyone these days is a motivational speaker, but you
Know it's gonna happen. That's gonna happen when I'm in a silly silly mood
And I'm in a silly silly mood
Well, how can you not be when you're looking at these little like watercolor clouds in this like little bird little flower teeny stickers
I don't know
That's one of my things I love about planning
It just can really cheer me up like it's just you know you're grown up. If you're like possibly. I don't know I'm the grown-up
supposedly, I'm supposed to be growing up who knows and
You know using stickers and drawing and coloring is always things that when I grew up
It was like that's what kids do and the fact that I can be a grown-up, and I can just do whatever I want
It's pretty awesome. I kind of love it
I don't know if I love it more because it's like traditionally a kid thing
But it just gives me like the fact that I've accepted it and embraced it makes me really happy
And I really like to do it
And I don't really care how other people feel about it because there's so many other people there
love planners and love planning in their planners set you know when I was hanging out with those cool kids those cool cats
I have been hanging it was like way too many people who are like
Motivational and all the finding your tribe you guys. I am so deep in the rabbit hole that sometimes
I forget that other adults have not found their tribe
It's so funny to me
We were at Easter dinner today and my mother
Was talking about how like it's it's like socially acceptable for companies to like
Just totally political
Argument that we probably shouldn't have gotten into at Easter, but like about how companies
Hire in other countries or they go to other countries
To get me manufacturing done and all of this stuff, and she was saying how it's like socially accepted
And I'm like no it's totally not but then
Everybody at the table is looking at me like I was crazy
But maybe I just hang I'm like a small group of people like a lot of my friends they love
doing things like you know writing your planners or they like cloth diapering or
They love small businesses
And I know when you're like a planner person you don't have to be a mom or like a diaper person
But a lot of these planner
People that I meet you know you love supporting. I see shops and small businesses and stay-at-home moms. like half our friends are in
MLM selling like shakes and
candles, and you just want to support those small businesses and
usually like if you have a choice between
Someone who's making a product in your own country versus someone who's making a product in China of course you can only choose
You know the one as long as it's like do you have similar quality and price that you're obviously gonna choose
the one made in your own country so
To me that just sounded totally
Totally like weird, but I I don't know maybe it's just us because we are supporters of small businesses
and the rest of the world is not like I don't know what's going on
I love hanging out with my little tribe bubble with all of my cool people and if you're watching my planner videos you're obviously
cool person so
