Hi I'm Gerry from Gerry's Craft Room In this video I'm going to make an art journal
page for my mini album with Lindy's sprays I have a piece out of a vintage music book
and I applied some white gesso with a plastic card
I am adding some drops of Lindy's starburst spray
red hot poker orange and then spray with water
then I move the page and let the colour run an bit
I add the other colour starburst spray
Tibetan Poppy Teal and I do the same by the way I added the products I used in
the description box for you and if you are new here don't forget to subscribe
I have been wanting to try the lindy's sprays for quite a while and I am really excited
about them the colours are so pretty and vibrant and
there are lots of fun techniques to try
After drying I add more colour to create some fun patterns
I add some splats with water and the fan brush
and add a bit more water to move the colour again
I spray some water in my hand and flick it on the paper
I keep adding colour drops and bits of water to build up the layers of colour
I add some colour along the edge with the plastic tube from the bottle
I don't know if that's a good word, feel free to share a better one
I now I'm going to add some colour splats
and I blot with kitchen paper
I stamped and fussy cut a bunch of butterflies and I'm going to glue them to the page
I stamped another butterfly that I embossed with black WOW embossing powder
I am going to colour the butterfly with the same spray colours
I added a bit of the spray on my acrylic block and colour it with a brush
after drying I fussy cut the butterfly and I add some foam tape on the back
and add it to the page
Some doodling along the edges I always think
doodling is a fun thing to do and it always gives a nice touch to a page
and a printed word to finish my page
I hope you liked the video don't forget
to like, share and subscribe and I'll see you in the next video
thanks for watching
