Well before the hundred-mile organization, we didn't really know, I
would say maybe for the first 10 years, I struggled trying to encourage students to
get out and run for cardio, for health, mental, physical, um...kids struggled with
that, so I was trying different ideas, trying different ways to motivate them.
Rewards didn't necessarily work. I mean for some kids, yes, but it just didn't
seem enough. I wasn't satisfied with it, so I did some research and I saw that
there was a 100 Mile Club organization and I looked into that and I decided
that's what we need to join and I'm telling you it worked! The kids are
motivated and my numbers are starting to grow since 2015, so I'm really excited!
It's definitely...you have to keep this, because it's helped us and it benefits
the students as well so I'm really excited! Thank You 100 Mile Club!
thank you
