Ben Carson Turns Tables On Government Housing With 2 Stunning New Actions

Not only is the swamp terrified of guys like Ben Carson, but welfare queens now have a

reason to start re-thinking their life decisions after Carson implements new HUD rules that'll

make those living comfortably in free housing have to earn it to some degree.

Between President Trump cracking down on welfare abuse and Carson tackling abuses of HUD housing,

it looks like things are changing in the best possible way…

The Blaze reports:

In a plan revealed on Wednesday, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson proposed

a plan that would increase rental rates for some public housing residents.

If approved by Congress, the plan would raise the rent cap on the poorest families to $150

per month — the current maximum is $50.

It would also make it easier for work requirements to be imposed on renters by housing authorities.

Disabled and elderly tenants would be exempt.

Carson said, "The way we calculate the level of assistance to our families is archaic and

has perverse consequences, like discouraging these residents from earning more income.

It's clear from a budget perspective and from a human standpoint that this is not sustainable."

He added in a call to reporters: "There is one inescapable imperative driving this

reform effort.

The current system isn't working very well.

Doing nothing is not an option."

Under the new plan, HUD would also do away with income deductions for medical costs and

child care expenses, which Carson says will level the playing field.

He says that oftentimes, tenants with the same income end up paying vastly different

rates become some people "know how to work the system."

Executive director of the Massachusetts Union of Public Housing Tenants, Jack Cooper, called

the new HUD plan "a war on low-income people," saying, "we're talking about keeping a

roof over people who can't afford the market.

They're devastating folks that are already in dire straights."

Cooper says public housing residents in the US have an average income of around $12,000.

Diane Yentel, president of the National Low Income Housing Coalition also weighed in,

saying, "When we are in the middle of a housing crisis that's having the most negative

impact on the lowest-income people, we shouldn't even be considering proposals to increase

their burdens."

But Carson sees the initiative as an opportunity to encourage self-sufficiency for those receiving

public housing assistance.

In applauding President Trump's executive order last week, aimed at reducing poverty,

Carson wrote in an op-ed: "Our social safety net exists to protect low-income families

from poverty and hardship, and to help people get back on their feet.

Despite all the good intentions, our nation's welfare system continues to encourage a culture

of dependency rather than self-sufficiency."

The Washington Times reported that progressives lashed out at Obama when he tried to honor

the life of Reverend Billy Graham, who died this morning at the age of 99.

"Billy Graham was a humble servant who prayed for so many – and who, with wisdom and grace,

gave hope and guidance to generations of Americans," Obama wrote on Twitter.

Liberals turned on Obama immediately, firing back at him by bringing up the evangelist's

stance on homosexuality.

Others accused Graham of racism, despite the evangelist's demand that churches racially

integrate his services in the early 1950s, bucking the Ku Klux Klan and other segregationists.

It looks like the army of politically correct liberals that Obama created has now turned

on him!

When she can't think of a real reason that he actually deserves to be impeached, Maxine

Waters will just make something up.

In an interview with MSNBC host Chris Hayes, Maxine Waters claimed that 70% of women want

Trump impeached.

So why should Trump be impeached?

"Everywhere I go people are talking about – 'Why can't you all get rid of him?

Why don't they impeach him?

What's wrong with the other members of Congress?

Why don't they stand up with you?

This man is dishonorable.

He lies all the time.

He's a con man,'" described Waters with no specifics.

"They say all of these things and I'm not just talking about my district.

Whether I am on the airplane, I'm walking down the street in New York – wherever I

am, I'm hearing it.

And I'm told that 70% of women who have been polled say that they want him impeached,"

said Waters.

So where does this '70% statistic come from'?

People all over the internet have looked into it, and there is nothing that suggests that

it is true.

The closest that the Daily Wire could find, was a poll stating that 74% of DEMOCRATIC

women want Trump impeached.

But that is much different that 70% of women overall.

Ever since Donald Trump took office, his wife Melania has faced more attacks from the liberal

media than any First Lady in modern history.

Now, she has finally had enough and spoken out to let her liberal haters know that they

will not stop her from doing what she has to do to help our country as first lady.

The U.K. Express reported that the media mocked Melania for making her agenda as First Lady

anti-cyberbullying, as liberals claim her own husband is a cyberbully.

She recently fired back by saying that these attacks "will not stop" her from tackling

cyberbullying head-on.

"I'm well aware that people are skeptical of me discussing this topic.

I have been criticised for my commitment to tackling this issue and I know that will continue,"

Melania said, adding, that the criticism "will not stop me from doing what is right."

This week, France's First Lady Brigitte Macron praised Melania after being hosted

at the White House for her first state dinner.

She described Melania as "kind, charming, intelligent, and very open" and said that

the somewhat inscrutable persona Melania projects isn't true to who she actually is.

"[Melania] is actually really fun.

We have the same sense of humour.

We laugh a lot together," she said."Everything is interpreted, over-interpreted.

She's someone who has a strong personality but works hard to hide it.

She laughs very easily, at everything, but shows it less than I do."

She also said that Melania's life is "much more constrained" than hers is.

"She can't even open a window at the White House," Brigitte said.

"She can't go outside.

She's much more constrained than I am.

I go out every day in Paris."

In contrast, Brigitte feels like she lives a "a normal life."

"I haven't changed in my head.

I'm still the wife of Emmanuel Macron, not of the president.

I don't feel like a first lady," she said.

Comey's memoir, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, has sold more than 600,000

copies in just its first week, The New York Times reported Tuesday.

It has already outsold many other polarizing, political books — including Hillary Clinton's

post-election memoir, What Happened, and Michael Wolff's tell-all about President Trump's

first months in office, Fire and Fury.

Clinton's book sold around 300,000 copies in all formats in its first week, while Wolff's

sold about 200,000 hardcover copies in its first week, the Times reports.

Comey's book recounts his experience as FBI director during the 2016 presidential

election and under the Trump administration, detailing his decision to publicly announce

an investigation into Clinton's use of a private email server and recalling conversations

with Trump that eventually led to Comey's firing last year.

The former FBI official has been on a major media blitz in recent weeks, drawing Twitter

ire from the president and garnering countless headlines about the contents of the book.

The Times reports that Comey's publisher has had to order multiple reprints of his

book to keep up with the booming sales, and has more than a million copies in print.

Ingraham appeared on "The View" back in 2007, and it didn't take long for things

to get awkward between her and Whoopi.

The National Review reported that Ingraham was on her show to promote her book "Power

To The People," and Whoopi immediately tried to get under her skin by saying the book was

called "Power To The Damn People."

"By the way Laura, wasn't 'Power to the People' the Black Panther theme in the

60's?"

cohost Joy Behar asked Ingraham.

"Yes, I stole it back from them, I actually think it's returning power to the people

of this country, not just an elite few protesters," Ingraham fired back.

"Let me to stop you for second," Whoopi interrupted as she tried to make this about

race.

Ingraham stood her ground, however, saying that the book's title is "for a lot of

people in this country, people who watch The View, who feel disenfranchised from culture

and politics."

In the end, Ingraham was able to expose how idiotic and classless Behar and Whoopi really

are.

It's disturbing that these women are still given a platform to spout their nonsense on

national television every day over a decade later.

Meanwhile, Ingraham now has her own show on Fox News, much too the dismay of liberals

everywhere.

Liberals recently launched a boycott against Ingraham's advertisers after she called

out anti-gun activist David Hogg for whining about not getting into the school of his choice.

Thankfully, this boycott backfired, and Ingraham has remained on television triggering liberal

snowflakes left and right!

Donald Trump Announces Plan to Countersue Democrats for DNC Server.

President Donald Trump reacted to the news that the Democrats had decided to sue his

presidential campaign for an illegal conspiracy with the Russians to win the 2016 election.

"Just heard the Campaign was sued by the Obstructionist Democrats," Trump wrote on

Twitter.

"This can be good news in that we will now counter[sue] for the DNC Server that they

refused to give to the FBI."

Despite the DNC claim that their emails were hacked by the Russians, they never turned

over their server to the FBI for investigation.

"During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our

democracy, and it found a willing and active partner in Donald Trump's campaign," DNC

chairman Tom Perez said in a statement announcing the lawsuit.

Trump added that he would like to sue for former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz's

server and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's emails.

The lawsuit does not name the president, but rather his son Donald Trump Jr. and his son-in-law

Jared Kushner.

It also names his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Manafort's deputy, Rick

Gates as well as George Papadopoulos and Roger Stone.

Donald Trump Jr. also reacted to the lawsuit on Twitter.

"How's the saying go?

If for 2 years you don't succeed pedaling your garbage try try again?" he wrote with

laughing emojis.

"Also do I get to take discovery since I'm named?"
