USA news on Youtube May 28 2018

Go wash the liquor out of your breath. We've got a big day ahead of us.

Welcome back to my Dark Corner of this Sick World.

Blood and Lace opens with a murder, shot from the killer's point of view, showing the weapon itself.

Which must have seemed a clever way to build anticipation,

until you realise that given where the hammer is and the fact that it's held rigidly there,

the murderer must have had it taped to his chin until he needed it.

It's also surprisingly flammable.

The murder leaves young Ellie going to an orphanage.

'Ellie, you're still a minor'

This seems to be one of those rare orphanages that mostly caters to adults.

'I'm nearly 21.'

No you're not. But we'll forgive that, because it's run by Gloria Grahame who starred in The Big Heat.

'All that's in the past.'

And the man from social services says it's fine.

'I inspect that house myself, twice a year '

Really? Here's a kid trying to run away.

I feel like the inspections could be more rigorous.

Much more rigorous.

Poor kid.

'I'm thirsty'

'How long have you been up here?'

I'm still thirsty.

'What I don't know won't hurt me'

So we have a gory murder and an orphanage where kids are mistreated then frozen in the basement,

and where no one questions a man carrying a bloody sack with a hand hanging out of it.

'What are you doing Tom?'

'I'm working, go back upstairs Pete.'

'Okay don't get mad'

Then there's Gloria's husband.

'He's not living but that doesn't mean he's dead'

He just likes to do impressions of Norman Bates' Mum.

'That's a good comparison'

This is alongside the usual stresses of putting teenagers in a house together.

'He looks nice'

'He's also my boyfriend'

Oh they have something in common. I'm sure it will bring them closer

and if you thought Ellie had at least put that first murder behind her then Stop!

#Hammer time#

Blood and Lace is not badly made, Gloria Grahame is excellent

'You'll be punished for this Ellie'

And it's nowhere near as pervy as you might expect,

but I worry that any conclusion that ties together those disparate plot threads will be confusing.

A worry the director seems to have shared, cos they haven't bothered.

'You've got to see it to believe it'

Ellie escapes the inescapable orphanage.

'RUN!'

Really feels like the others weren't trying.

'We don't like kids to run away from our home'

She's pursued by the mysterious hammer-wielding man,

who is not the murderer; Ellie is

and the man....

'Calvin?'

'That's right Calvin.'

This is the policeman investigating the murder of Ellie's mother,

who has dressed up as Freddie Krueger's Grandad because he found the home suspicious

and thought the best way to investigate was to make Ellie think he was the man she murdered out for revenge,

prompting her to flee the home and forcing Gloria and Tom into action.

A brilliant plan.

'You're so clever Calvin'

That results in 3 deaths.

Though I don't think the policeman cares as his real objective is Ellie herself.

'I wanna marry you'

Who is his daughter.

(

'Well evil breeds evil honey. How about it?'

When I rehash it like this it sounds confusing, but actually it's pretty Scooby Doo,

what's confusing is why anyone would put these plotlines together.

'You sure got a strange way of doing things.

'Gloria's husband was one of Ellie's Mum's clients.

'And Jameson had found other beautiful women, women like your mother'

but this has nothing to do with the murder.

In fact the orphanage plotline and the murder plotline aren't related at all.

'That's ridiculous'

and the teen romance impacts on neither of them.

'Yeah, it's all there'

All of it; frozen kids, sex in the shed, hammer murders, incest -

it's all just shit that happens to Ellie

Although she did kill her Mum, so maybe it's a morality tale.

'You and your little slut can have each other I'm clearing out.'

Thanks for watching This film was recommended to us by patreon supporter Aidan Woodard. So thanks Aaden

Gohmert Drops a BOMB From Mueller's Past, Seriously Calling His Ethics Into Question - Duration: 11:08.

Gohmert Drops a BOMB From Mueller's Past, Seriously Calling His Ethics Into Question

During an interview with Judicial Watch, Rep. Louie Gohmert dropped a truth bomb from Mueller's

past.

Gohmert claims that Mueller has protected radical Islamists throughout "his whole

career," and that Mueller is responsible for the current deterioration of the FBI as

we know it.

From The Blaze

Here's what he said

In in 30 minute long interview with Judicial Watch published Thursday, Gohmert made extensive

accusations against Mueller.

"This is consistent with Mueller," he said, "he has protected radical Islamists

his whole career, with the FBI, and even as special counsel but, uhm, 911, we knew who,

we found out who the perpetrators were, there were no question, that was radical Islam."

"And immediately after that, the anthrax scare occurred, and he was looking for something

to take the attention away from the concern about radical Islam," he explained, adding

that he believed Mueller botched the anthrax investigation in order to distract from the

threat of Islam.

Gohmert said that Mueller damaged the FBI more than all the previous FBI directors put

together, and that his "unconquerable ego" got in the way of positive policies at the

bureau.

Panetta defends Mueller

Friday on CNN, former CIA director Leon Panetta responded to Gohmert's accusations, saying,

"Wolf, as a former congressman, I would say with great respect to that particular

congressman, he has no idea what the hell he's talking about."

"Bob Mueller was FBI director when I was the director of the CIA," he explained.

"He committed himself to going after terrorists.

To going after extremist Islam in order to protect this country.

And whatever he's implying is absolutely not only wrong, but in many ways it reflects

the kind of unfounded attacks that people are resorting to here in order to undermine

what Bob Mueller is doing in this investigation."

Panetta called for Republicans and other members of Congress to denounce

the

comments

from Gohmert.

White Customers Forced To Pay Reparations, At Bar In Liberal Oregon After Nasty New Rule Enforced - Duration: 6:05.

White Customers Forced To Pay Reparations, At Bar In Liberal Oregon After Nasty New Rule

Enforced.

Portland, Oregon's motto is "Keep Portland Weird."

Looks like they've got that covered.

Cameron Whitten, 27, who is an activist there for slavery reparations, has created and in

fact, has tried to mandate a Reparations Happy Hour.

Get this white people are asked to give $10 to people of color at the bar so they can

drink at the event.

Those same white people are not invited to attend, because they want it to be a safe

space for black, brown and indigenous people.

They are claiming it's a symbolic gesture.

Many think it is insulting and just plain stupid.

The event was on May 21st at a local bar called Backyard Social.

It is now an inaugural event.

The event was promoted on social media where it stipulated the new rule: "Reparations

for black, brown and indigenous people.

Paid for by whites folks."

Let's just say that people on Twitter were not enthused by any of this.

The event description reads:

"This event is for white people, too.

"White people can show up and support by GIVING reparations.

Instead of physically attending, your presence will be felt through your active financial

support for healing, leadership, and community building within Portland's black, brown,

and indigenous community."

"Our first business sponsor, Backyard Social, has generously offered to host a 10 percent

day on May 21st, donating a percentage of their total sales to Brown Hope.

We encourage EVERYONE to show up and buy something you can come any time during business hours."

"$10 will support reparations for one community member, and you are strongly encouraged to

donate for more than one participant.

Monthly donations are very much needed to sustain the Reparations Happy Hours, and the

programs of Brown Hope.

You can make a one-time donation, or recurring contributions here: donorbox.org/brownhope."

Fox News described the reparations effort:

"The notion of full-scale reparations sought by some as compensation for the horrors of

slavery, Jim Crow and the large wealth gap between white and black U.S. households, was

supported by 58 percent of black people and 46 percent of Hispanic people in a 2016 poll."

"However, 68 percent of white Americans do not support reparations; when the topic

was brought up during the 2016 presidential campaign, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said

it was "divisive" and unlikely to get through Congress."

"The economist Robert Browne once estimated a fair value for reparations of $1.4 trillion

to $4.7 trillion, and wrote that reparations should restore the black community to the

economic position, it would have had if it had not been subjected to slavery and discrimination."

Frankly, I don't feel I owe anyone anything having to do with slavery.

It was an awful practice, but the US was the first country to outlaw it.

Giving money to people who had nothing to do with slavery when you never had a part

in it is ludicrous.

This white guilt thing makes no sense to me and seems mentally imbalanced, just as having

a safe place for people to hide does.

I am not redistributing what wealth I have to those who have not earned it and have no

claim to it.

"White people can show up and support by GIVING reparations.

Instead of physically attending, your presence will be felt through your active financial

support for healing, leadership, and community building within Portland's black, brown,

and indigenous community," the event's listing proclaimed.

"It was only $10, but when I saw them I saw their eyes light up," Whitten told the

New York Times.

"What I saw there was that people felt like they were finally seen."

I think what she sees is the prospect of free drinks and attention by playing the victim

here.

Approximately 40 people attended the happy hour, while over 100 mostly white liberals

paid for it.

The shindig was thrown by local activist group, Brown Hope, according to The Oregonian.

Whitten also had seven white people come on board to help defend the group from any potential

interference from alt-right groups in the area.

"We do a lot of talking.

We do a lot of making excuses," Whitten told The Oregonian.

"But how often do we actually recognize and acknowledge someone's suffering?

We're so used to being denied any sort of justice that $10 is a respite," Whitten

said.

Free drinks because of your skin color?

I call that racism.

Bonus it not only upset white people, it offended people of color who are seriously going after

reparations for slavery.

It ticked everyone off.

"This belittles the whole argument for reparations.

It's not a joke or a happy hour.

It's a legitimate demand of an oppressed people who were ENSLAVED," wrote Chauncey

K. Robinson on Twitter.

"What in special hell," wrote twitter Kendra Jones.

"Reparations Happy Hour?

Really??

How about addressing inequalities in pay, housing and education?

You know, something that'll make a meaningful difference.

How about stop shooting or arresting us for just going about our business trying to live

our best life?"

There goes the Black Lives Matter crowd.

A second happy hour is being planned for June 20th at Portland bakery Back to Eden, where,

in early May, a black woman was apparently denied service after closing time, even though

bakery employees continued to serve several white people, who also entered the establishment

after closing.

The two employees have been fired.

I'm sure there is more to that story that you aren't hearing.

Chicks on the Right said, "You are not oppressed.

You are not a victim.

At least be honest about it and just admit you want free stuff."

I could not agree more.

What do you think about this?

Roseanne Crushes Obama In A Truly Hilarious Way After He Makes Deal With Netflix - Duration: 12:49.

Roseanne Crushes Obama In A Truly Hilarious Way After He Makes Deal With Netflix

It's not hard to notice how since former President Barack Hussein Obama is no longer

on TV 24/7 he just can't manage his narcissistic personality disorder.

So he decided to fix that by signing a $50 million dollar deal with Netflix to start

producing his own propaganda agenda driven content for the media giant.

But while this might be worrying some people and made other, like myself, cancel their

Netflix subscription the queen of comedy Roseanne Barr has taken to Twitter to find ideas as

to what kind of shows Obama may do for Netflix.

Conservative 101 reported that the first thing Roseanne Bar did was to tweet the hashtag

#ObamasNetflixShows, and from there it just took off in hilarious ways.

People replied with parodies of existing movie and TV titles, but with a twist.

Some of them were, I know what the FBI did last summer, The Lying King, Spy Games, Leading

From Behind, Nope and Strange, Vicente Fox & Friends, Alinsky Diaries, Hawaii Five O

for Obama, Maxine Water's world, Me Myself and I Spy, Yes We Can the game show where

we come up with more ways to steal from U.S. taxpayers, Move On: Our Move to Kenya, The

Chicago Forgotten Show, Season 8, Breakfast of Iran, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying

and Love the Bomb, Two Half Men!, and How to Say One Thing and Do Another.

And these were only a few of the hilarious suggestions.

Roseanne eviscerated Obama back in 2016 for abstaining from the UN Security Council vote

demanding a halt in Israeli construction in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem which

referred to those lands as "Palestinian territories."

Isn't it about time Barack Obama and his self-professed "Eternal First Lady" Michelle

take a long sabbatical from the public eye and stop trying to push their Alinsky agenda?

Obama took the presidency of a nation where race wasn't an issue anymore, hadn't been

for decades, and caused a spark in order to divide and conquer so he could forward their

own agenda, and it's high time he crawls back under the community organizing rock he

came from.

Here is more on this Obama Netflix deal via The New York Post:

"Barack and Michelle Obama are raking in the cash, thanks to the influence of a former

campaign supporter.

The couple last week signed a creative production deal with Netflix that one entertainment-industry

source said could be valued at more than $50 million.

Ted Sarandos, a major campaign contributor for Obama and the streaming giant's creative-content

chief who oversees an $8 billion budget, helped to broker the deal, the source told The Post.

Sarandos and his wife, Nicole Avant, bundled nearly $600,000 in contributions to Obama

from their friends and associates during the 2012 presidential campaign.

The couple is friends with the Obamas, and Avant served as the US ambassador to the Bahamas

from 2009 to 2011, during the former president's first term.

Her father, Clarence, a music exec, bundled a total of nearly $450,000 for Obama's presidential

campaigns.

The multiyear Netflix agreement, in the works since at least March, calls on the Obamas

"to produce a diverse mix of content, including the potential for scripted series, unscripted

series, docuseries, documentaries and features," which will be broadcast in 190 countries,

according to a statement from the streaming service, which has 125 million subscribers

around the globe.

The Obamas plan to work on stories that "promote greater empathy and understanding between

peoples and help them share their stories with the entire world."

Netflix received hundreds of résumés and story ideas after announcing the partnership,

the source said.

Netflix says the couple formed Higher Ground Productions LLC to broker the deal.

A firm with that name was incorporated in Delaware in April, public records show.

The contract comes a year after the Obamas inked a joint book deal with Penguin Random

House valued in excess of $65 million.

The first of the deal's planned books, Michelle Obama's memoir, "Becoming," is due out

in November.

Since leaving office, Barack Obama has addressed groups across the country, speaking about

grassroots organizing and the problems of the poor.

Ironically, the talks come at a steep price.

After a speech at a health-care conference sponsored by Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald

in September, Obama reportedly took home $400,000.

In addition to raking in millions, the former first couple has been involved in fund-raising

for the Obama Foundation, which is developing a $500 million presidential center and library

in Chicago.

The foundation took in more than $13 million in 2016, an exponential increase from just

under $2 million the previous year, federal

filings show."
