all this week on Dateline schools are learning how well our students did at

recent national competitions and how many of our students even medal at the

competitions this year and tell us all about it special guests is the school to

work coordinator at st. Clair County Technical Education Center Tom Koehler

and in time yesterday he gave us the list of how our students did in terms of

medals one this year what does that really mean other than some bragging

rights when they come home it's a lot and that goes into it they obviously

they get a medal for it they get recognition you know at the national

level but then they can earn scholarships from different you know

colleges trade schools from across the nation and then when they come back here

especially like in the area of like metal machining where there's a big need

for people to go into metal machining a lot of the employers once they see the

results they are calling me emailing me finding out if they can interview those

students seeing if they're if they're working and what they're up to

so we get quite a few of those that happen you know once they come back and

then they can win different prizes they can even when you know some cash as well

like I said before scholarships so there's many different things that go

into you know what happens and what kind of recognition they get at the national

level so as Steve and the other ones from the CNC mill and they out getting

interviews right now yeah one of them's working and that yeah the other ones are

getting interviews and you know they're trying to figure out what they want to

do if they want to go away to school and that sort of thing so like I said it's

kind of a whirlwind because there's so many different scholarships that are

coming in and different goals that are looking at them and then also the

employers looking at them and so you know they're kind of trying to process

all that right now no pressure for these kids

no no no no yeah do you find that most of them do I go on into further

education or do you find most of these winners end up going into employment

right away about you know half of them go into employment and then the other

half go on to a trade school or college but even if they are going into

employment they're usually continued in their education you know as they start

work and then they then might be going to the Community College

here and that sort of thing so what a huge piece put on your resume yes it is

I mean to say that you're a national champion or even that you went to

Nationals it's a great thing that you know the students get to put on their

resume and you know the employers are certain to recognize what skills and

what host is all about and what those students are able to do compared to you

all this week on Dateline schools we're learning about how our tec students

have done on the national stage this year very well I may say as we talk to

school to work coordinator Tom Koehler and in time how does this national

competition and how well our students have done this year really relate to the

school to work efforts that you put in that tact well the school to work you

know efforts and the different things that we do it really relates to skills

and host so it's a great thing that they can put onto their resume a lot of the

employers you know I'm talking to them frequently and you know they want

students that are going above and beyond just a normal classroom and the normal

program so they're looking at those students and wanting to you know

interview them that have gone on to the different contests whether it's the

state or national contest because you know they want the best of the best so

you know we constantly are getting you know phone calls and emails about those

students so that's really neat to see and to see that they're you know looking

for those students and hopefully other tech centers aren't looking at our

instructors say hey can you come over work with us right yeah hopefully not

yeah yeah we know we want them to stay here and and to help our kids in st.

Clair County what do you have to do to recruit kids to participate in skills or

see what you guys have accomplished over the last several years it makes it

pretty easy oh yeah that does definitely help especially those programs that we

send students to Nationals but at the first of the year we do we go through a

program overview of all the different things in every program and inside of

that we you know this staff will talk about SkillsUSA and talk about hosts we

show some promotional videos and that sort of thing just and having the

students that were at the Tec Center last year we have them talk about it to

the students the new students that are coming in and kind of get them fired up

about it and ready for it and that sort of thing you find those kids who went as

juniors to national competition work extra hard to get back this in the next

year yeah they do that you know they're working very hard and you know they want

to go and do that again you know the next year as well or even if they just

went to maybe the state competition they're really

up to do well and try to make it to that national contest where can parents

working students get more information about tech and what you offer and how to

become part of that students and parents they can go to the tech page which is

all this weekend Dateline schools at the st. Clair County Technical Education

special guests as the coordinator of the the skills programs as well as

school-to-work coordinator at Tec Tom Koehler and Tom you know this week we've

been talking about what the students have accomplished in the national

recognition but it didn't come just based on what they've done you've had

staff and of course the whole Tec Center is behind him tell us what this

means for tech it means a lot for tech in there you know our staff is very

dedicated and getting them prepared for the competition

so between like the state competition and the national competition they're

they're you know at the Tech Center practicing eight to twelve hours a day

getting ready for these competitions and then you know just all the different

staff at Tec you know making sure that we have all the paperwork and you know

we have to get hotel rooms and travel and all that so you know there's a lot

of behind the scenes activity as well but you know I can't say enough about

the dedication of all the staff members that you know went to the competition

and even you know ones that didn't go to the competition helping those students

out and getting them prepared for the competition and I was gonna say to that

hustle has to speak and on the instruction that these kids are getting

to yeah that you know they're getting great instruction inside the classroom

that's where the you know first starts off with their skills and then you know

with them practicing it this enhances their skills and you know that they're

taking the extra time to you know practice with them and get them ready it

says a lot about them I probably think one of the intangibles - that's a direct

result is a personal relationship these teachers have with these students - yeah

they're you know they're working like I said eight to 12 hours a day with them

and then they're gone with them for a week at the national

contest so you know they build a relationship that goes beyond just being

an instructor you know it goes up you know into you know almost them becoming

part of their family and do you see that the teachers follow up with these kids

once they leave Tech to you as well yes they do yeah you know they're finding

out you know what they're doing and you know how how things are going with them

if they're working and going to school and you know they they come back

you the tech center for like our open house and kind of check that out and

talk to us and you know see how we're doing as well so it's kind of neat to

all this weekend dateline schools are at St Clair County Technical Education

Center learning how our kids did on the national stage and national competitions

that were held at the end of June and tell us all about it special guests as

they school to work coordinator at tech who kind of coordinate to all of these

activities for our tec students Tom Koehler and Tom go ahead give us the

list tell us how our kids actually did on the national stage this year sure we

had 13 students go and compete and we had Stephen Kelly he's on our metal

machining program from St clair high school he is a twelfth grader he placed

first in the nation and the CNC milling category and then we had another student

from metal machining Brian McDonald he placed second in the nation in the CNC

technician category and then we had from our information technology program

kayln philbourne he is from Port Heron High School he

placed third in the nation in the information technology category and then

at HOSA we had a student who received a silver medal a second place kala Halleck

she competed in the Home Health Aide from Yale High School and she's an 11th

grader now over the years we've heard a lot of kids doing very well at the

skills especially in our CNC in her milling areas but kind of unusual that

we get someone from hosted a win and rank at the top nationally to write yeah

it's been about a about five years since we sent a student to the national

contest for hostess so that was a very good that we got to send to students and

one of them placed second in the nation they're competing you know with about 50

or so students so she did very well and it was very good to see that also - we

probably should recommend people what's the difference between the SkillsUSA and

the host competition sure the SkillsUSA is for all of our students that are in

all of our programs so we have 11 different programs anyone not in health

care all the healthcare students they can go into HOSA so they're very similar

in nature it's just what they're competing in and what they're going to

be doing like I said you know all the other non-health ones compete

and the SkillsUSA will be back with more tomorrow for Dateline schools I'm Terry

welcome back and in today's video we could be going on an adventure a

perilous journey with real danger very soon there's an urban legend that's very

close to me and if this video gets 300 bucks

then we're probably gonna take a camera and we're gonna we're gonna go see if

the moon hide people exist moon-eyed people are a race of people from

Cherokee tradition who are said to have lived in the Appalachia until Cherokee

expelled them expelled means forcefully removed they are mentioned in a 1797

book by Benjamin Smith Barton who explains they are called moon odd

Prince Madog Cherokee legends tell of the moon on people that inhabited the

southern highlands before they arrived these people are said to have been

unable to see during certain phases of the Moon Wow

that's a little bit more detailed it makes me wonder one or two things were

these early settlers were they aliens from an

planet is rip Zilla and ancestor of these aliens or were they actually white

people that were here living before Columbus ever hit ground a lot of you

know by now that Columbus was probably not the first person to actually

discover America as there's so many different accounts of other people

heating this land before him other variations of the Cherokee legend tell

about people with fair skin blonde hair and blue eyes that occupied the mountain

areas until Cherokee invaders finally dispersed them some tales said the moon

eyed people could see in the dark but we're nearly blonde in daylight other

legends describe them as albinos now it's like it's very interesting because

I too have fair skin a natural hair color of blonde and my eyes are blue it

does make me wonder were these just like early set was white people already in

America or before all of this started and that's an interesting concept

Delaware Indian legend tells of their immigration eastward from the Far West

and meeting a race of very tall robust light-skinned people they called the

allegewi along the Mississippi and Ohio rivers

the Delaware were stopped in their advancement by the allegory until they

prevailed with the support of Iroquois Iroquois who were also moving eastward

some surviving in lagoon went to Cherokee territory and stayed with them

for a time and are remembered as moon eye people who were tall fair skinned

with light hair and gray eyes and carried strange weapons and tools now

outer space another theory that just pops in my head but what if they were

time travelers mm-hmm let that sink in Barton suggested the

moon out people were actually ancestors of the obamas that lana wafer

Welsh from across the ocean now I think that's very interesting because if

Christopher Columbus wasn't the first to settle here there were actually other

Welsh white people here before the Cherokees and the Cherokees actually

pushed them from it it's very interesting

could it be aliens could it be time travelers could it be albano people from

Panama it's very interesting here's a picture of the fort mountain in Georgia

and if you've watched some of my live streams I've actually showed you this

mountain and what's very interesting when I was 15 years old me and one of my

friends actually trekked up this left side of this mountain I see these rocks

right here I almost actually died on those rocks as I almost fell off the

mountain but was actually caught by my friend he saved me and we trekked it

took us three days to trek from the left and the right you cannot make this stuff

up but there's an ancient 885 foot long zigzagging rock wall that was built from

stone and that's that's one of the things that I want to do if we do get

300 likes on this video then I am going to take my camera we're going to go to

that wall and we're gonna check this out and we're gonna look around for there's

also there's actually also a cave up there that I'll have been in before now

this is stuff from my teenage years and to know now that that these things that

I saw before could actually be like pieces to this legend is very exciting

it's it's something that I really like to do there's several other theories I'm

gonna put this in the description below and as interesting as this is always so

There was a deal struck between Lynch and Bill Clinton at the infamous airport tarmac

meeting.

Not long after this meeting, Lynch approached Comey about covering for Clinton.

Hillary suggested that she wanted to keep Lynch on as Attorney General had she won the

presidency.

THE FBI knew something was shady, according to American Lookout.

During former FBI Director James Comey's testimony, there was little question as to

whether or not there was a scheme in place to win the election for Hillary Clinton.

Comey spoke at length about an encounter he had with Lynch right after her meeting with

Bill Clinton at the airport, where they talked about "their grandchildren and golf."

According to CNN, Lynch got close to Comey, and asked that he stop calling the investigation

into Clinton an "investigation," and instead refer to it as a "matter."

It seemed like an odd request to make, especially considering that we were just going into the

2016 election.

Luckily, their plan fell apart, and Donald Trump was elected as our president.

No matter how hard the left tried, Clinton's election continued to fall further from their

grasp.

The American people have spoken time and again.

Based off Comey's testimony, Bill and Loretta were talking about more than just their grandkids

on the airliner.

Money was obviously being exchanged, and deals were being made.

Call it a hunch, but we bet Lynch owes a great deal of money now for failed promises.

Comey put everyone on the spot, and now they're being forced to answer for their erratic behavior

and destruction of our constitution.

There needs to be a full-on investigation into every single one of these people.

Why was Hillary SO sure she would win the election that she selected an AG months prior?

Why leave the job to criminal Lynch?

Obviously, there was more going on than we knew the last election cycle.

It's almost like Hillary and company are part of a high school clique.

Clinton wanted to get into office, get her friends cushy jobs working for the government,

and relax — off our tax dollars — for at least four years.

TRY AGAIN HILLARY — YOU FAILED!

Amazingly enough, all this information coming to the forefront has not left the Democrats

running and hiding.

They should get a head start, though.

When the hammer of justice comes cracking down, they WILL be forced to pay for their

complete disregard of every single patriot in this country.

Being the president is not about personal gain, it's about representing a nation.

We ALL know that Hillary would have failed us miserably.

And Trey Gowdy stepped up and revealed the one truth about the memo that the media and

their anti-Trump conspirators are desperate to cover up.

The big take away from the memo was that the Obama administration and the FBI colluded

with a foreign spy to present information paid for by Hillary Clinton in order to obtain

a FISA warrant to snoop on a former Trump campaign aide.

The Fusion GPS "Trump-Russia" dossier alleged Carter Page colluded with the Russians

to help rig the 2016 Presidential election.

No evidence exists to back up these claims.

But the dossier – and a Yahoo news articles based on the dossier – were presented in

a FISA court as the evidence for the government to obtain a warrant to spy on Page.

Gowdy cut through all the media distraction in downplaying the memo and cut right to the

heart of the matter.

And although the memo does answer some questions – like the fact that the fake news dossier

was weaponized by the FBI, even though they knew it was a Hillary Clinton campaign production

– it also raises others.

Chairman Nunes declared on Fox News that this is just the first memo.

This Lawsuit Could Be The Final Nail In Robert Mueller's Coffin

Robert Mueller has spent months sniffing around for evidence of Russian collusion.

Now there's been a big break in the case.

And this lawsuit could be the final nail in his coffin.

The collusion story accelerated when BuzzFeed published the Christopher Steele dossier in

January 2017.

But they didn't verify any of the information contained in the document before they published

it.

That led to Aleksej Gubarev – a Russian businessman – suing BuzzFeed for libel because

the dossier claimed he was connected to the Russians who allegedly hacked the Democrat

National Committee server.

BuzzFeed's defense is that the Democrat National Committee's servers will show evidence

that proves this connection is true and force the judge to throw the lawsuit out of court.

But the DNC will not comply with their requests.

This is similar to how the DNC would not allow the FBI to examine their servers after they

claimed they were hacked.

Critics contend the DNC is afraid to have anyone examine their servers because it would

show they weren't hacked by the Russians at all.

But the rubber is about to meet the road.

BuzzFeed has subpoenaed the DNC and has filed a motion in court to force them to comply.

Vanity Fair reports:

"IN A NUTSHELL: BUZZFEED BELIEVES THE D.N.C.

HAS INFORMATION THAT COULD SHOW A LINK BETWEEN GUBAREV AND THE E-MAIL HACKING, WHICH WOULD

UNDERCUT HIS LIBEL CLAIM.

"WE'RE ASKING A FEDERAL COURT TO FORCE THE D.N.C.

TO FOLLOW THE LAW AND ALLOW BUZZFEED TO FULLY DEFEND ITS FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS," A BUZZFEED

SPOKESPERSON WROTE IN AN E-MAIL.

BUZZFEED'S MOTION ASSERTS THAT THE D.N.C., CITING PRIVACY CONCERNS, HAS BEEN UNWILLING

TO COMPLY WITH A SUBPOENA FOR THAT INFORMATION.

AS BUZZFEED'S LAWYERS ARGUE: "THE MATERIAL REQUESTED FROM THE D.N.C.—WHICH AMOUNTS

ONLY TO THE DIGITAL REMNANTS LEFT BY THE RUSSIAN STATE OPERATIVES WHO HACKED THEIR SYSTEMS—IS

HIGHLY RELEVANT TO DEFENDANTS' ABILITY TO ESTABLISH THE TRUTH OF THE ALLEGEDLY DEFAMATORY

CLAIMS ABOUT THEM IN THE DOSSIER.

AND THE D.N.C.

HAS IDENTIFIED NEITHER PRIVILEGE NOR BURDEN THAT WOULD PREVENT THEM FROM COMPLYING WITH

THE SUBPOENA."

IN LEGAL PAPERS, THE D.N.C.

HAS ARGUED THAT DISCLOSING THE DIGITAL SIGNATURES, SUPPOSEDLY LEFT BY THE RUSSIA-DIRECTED HACKING

ORGANIZATIONS KNOWN AS COZY BEAR AND FANCY BEAR, WOULD INEVITABLY EXPOSE DETAILS OF THE

D.N.C.'S INFORMATION SYSTEMS, POSSIBLY MAKING THEM MORE VULNERABLE TO ANOTHER HACK.

SPOKESWOMAN DID NOT IMMEDIATELY HAVE A COMMENT LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON.)"

BuzzFeed has undertaken one other course of action that could completely obliterate Mueller's

collusion investigation.

The website has hired former high ranking FBI officials to investigate the claims made

in the dossier.

Truth would be an absolute defense in the lawsuit.

But if these investigators strike out, it would be another piece of evidence confirming

there was no collusion with Russia.

West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin is running for re-election in one of the most pro-Trump

states in the country.

So he is pulling the oldest trick in politics.

Manchin is lying to his voters at home about being a conservative, while voting the 100%

anti-Trump "resistance" line in politics.

The latest example of this was when GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel tweeted out two conflicting

photos of Manchin.

In one photo, Manchin is pledging his support for Planned Parenthood.

In the second photo, Manchin claims he "stands for life."

This isn't the first time Manchin has adopted a chameleon-like posture in his politics.

Over the summer, he professed his support to Vice President Pence for the administration's

tax cut legislation.

Of course once the bill hit the Senate floor, Manchin joined every other Democrat in voting

against the legislation that would cut taxes and help fuel the economic boom.

Politico reports:

"ON MANCHIN'S HOME SOIL LAST WEEK, PENCE LAID INTO HIM BY REPEATEDLY ASSERTING "JOE

VOTED NO" ON THE PRESIDENT'S PRIORITIES, A SHARP POLITICAL ATTACK MOTIVATED BY PENCE'S

BELIEF THAT MANCHIN HAD BROKEN HIS PROMISE, ACCORDING TO GOP LAWMAKERS WHO SPEAK WITH

PENCE REGULARLY.

PENCE'S WORDS WERE QUICKLY TURNED INTO AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR SENATE REPUBLICANS AGAINST

THE VULNERABLE DEMOCRATIC INCUMBENT.

MANCHIN, MEANWHILE, IS FURIOUS THAT PENCE HAS USED THE MISUNDERSTANDING AS THE PRETEXT

TO TEAR DOWN HIS BIPARTISAN CREDENTIALS, CLAIMING HE WOULD NEVER COMMIT TO VOTE FOR A BILL THAT

HAD NOT YET BEEN WRITTEN AND THAT PENCE AND THE WHITE HOUSE NEVER REALLY TRIED TO WORK

WITH HIM.

MANCHIN BELIEVES PENCE HAS BECOME AN ATTACK DOG AGAINST HIS BIPARTISAN REPUTATION BECAUSE

THE GOP IS "AFRAID IT PLAYS TOO WELL WITH THE PUBLIC."

And – most famously – Manchin claimed to be a pro-gun conservative, but co-authored

the national gun registration database legislation Obama and Harry Reid tried to ram through

Congress after the tragedy at Newtown.

But Manchin's history of lying to voters may catch up with him.

West Virginia has turned against the Democrat Party because of their support for the climate

change hoax that will kill the state's coal industry.

Manchin is the last elected statewide Democrat in the Mountaineer State.

Will he lose his re-election in November?
