The Untold Truth Of Kitchen Nightmares - Duration: 5:05.
There's nothing quite like turning on a cooking show and hearing the soothing sounds of Gordon
Ramsay screaming at a befuddled chef.
One of Ramsay's most popular profanity-riddled shows was Kitchen Nightmares, where the hot-tempered
Scottish chef helped struggling restaurants mainly by shouting at them about fresh produce
and frozen appetizers.
By the end of each episode, the restaurant's inedible food and sub-par service were usually
transformed and saved from extinction at least temporarily.
Even though it went off the air in 2014, there are still plenty of behind-the-scenes secrets
that you probably never knew about the popular restaurant makeover show.
Here's the untold truth of FOX's Kitchen Nightmares.
The nightmare's over
Although Ramsay spent a glorious six-and-a-half seasons transforming restaurants from one-star
duds into passable eateries, apparently his professional magic wore off quickly.
In 2014, shortly after Kitchen Nightmares ended, The Daily Mail reported that 60 percent
of the restaurants that appeared on the show had closed.
A spokesperson for Ramsay said at the time,
"You don't ask to take part in a show called Kitchen Nightmares if your restaurant business
is booming and therefore it is not surprising that many of the restaurants which Gordon
has visited over the ten years are now closed."
As of 2018, only 15 out of the 77 that appeared on the show between 2007 and 2014 are still
open.
The unluckiest restaurant
While most of the restaurants didn't exactly go on to have successful runs, some of the
restaurants fared worse than others.
According to The Daily Mail, one restaurant The Black Pearl in New York actually closed
just four days after their episode aired.
"Homarus americanus, same animal, right?
… Humanus americanus My Ass-us."
But Lela's , in Pomona, California, takes the cake they closed before viewers even saw
the episode.
According to Screen Rant, the restaurant already faced struggles before Ramsay got in the door,
and was facing bankruptcy after only eight months in the business.
After the episode was over, a message flashed on viewers' screens saying,
"The restaurant's debts were too much and it closed."
"Ruined" restaurant
Although many of the restaurants featured on the show were happy to receive Ramsay's
help, one chef in particular didn't mince words when it came to criticizing the changes
the chef and his team made.
Season 6's John Chapman, the owner of Chappy's on Church, told The National Enquirer,
"It was truly a kitchen nightmare for me.
Gordon Ramsay destroyed my business!"
"It looks like Chappy took a crappy in my gumbo."
Chapman said that Ramsay redid the entire menu, and that business subsequently went
from about 200 customers a night to a mere table of patrons per evening.
Chappy's on Church closed in June 2013 for nonpayment of taxes, only a month after the
episode aired.
Not staged
The "Amy's Baking Company" episode of Kitchen Nightmares is probably the most infamous in
the show's history, and the conflict was so severe that the crew didn't even get to complete
their transformation.
The owners of the now-closed eatery were notorious for threatening customers who left bad Yelp
reviews and for posting long rants on social media.
"You are a little pansy, get out of here, don't you ever come back here.
You little weenie, keep walking."
Apparently, the drama in the episode wasn't heightened for entertainment purposes, either.
One Medium blogger who was there during the filming of the two-part episode said,
"[The] epic blowouts were 100% true to form and not doctored for TV."
"I am going to really hurt somebody if they send back my cakes."
Real Ramsay
Ramsay may be infamous for his nightmarish behavior on his shows, but apparently most
of his on-air tantrums and profanity-laced rants are hammed up for the camera.
"You work like a pig.
You French Pig!"
According to one of the show's crew members who did an Ask Me Anything on Reddit in 2013,
you'll rarely see Ramsay get angry when the cameras are turned off.
The crew member explained,
"He only gets mad when he has a reason to, otherwise he's a very funny and nice dude.
You can even see that in all of his UK shows.
The US versions like to selectively edit to play up drama."
Additionally, Ramsay may not actually be as involved with the participants as you'd think.
One couple, who appeared on the show in season three, told The New Jersey Record in 2010
that they barely conversed with the chef at all, saying,
"You have no interaction with Ramsay at all.
He comes with a very big machine of assistants and helpers.
The only time that I ever spent any time with him was on camera."
Ramsay's regret
If you're a Kitchen Nightmares superfan who misses the show, Ramsay feels your pain.
The popular show that launched Ramsay's TV career ended in 2014 in part because Ramsay
was tired of the restaurants he fixed reverting back to their old ways and failing.
He told The New York Daily News in 2017,
"I got fed up with Kitchen Nightmares because I was getting s---.
So I woke up one morning and I thought 'f--- it, I'm done.'"
He added his remorse at the decision to pull his show off the air, which was admittedly
made in anger, saying,
"Yes it was wrong to pull my own show off air, but that's it."
The good news?
Fans don't need to rely on old reruns to catch glimpses of their favorite restaurant makeover
show Kitchen Nightmares is back in a new form.
Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell & Back premiered on FOX in June 2018.

FED UP TREY GOWDY DESTROYS OBAMA ,IT'S OVER - Duration: 13:40.
FED UP TREY GOWDY DESTROYS OBAMA ,IT'S OVER
The Left will not let the Trump-Russia conspiracy go.
Simply put, this theory remains their strongest leverage in their ongoing "soft coup"
against the president.
This is, of course, despite oft-repeated confessions that there is ZERO evidence to support the
conspiracy theory.
On Tuesday, former CIA Director John Brennan testified in front of the House Intelligence
Committee about the supposed connections between the Trump administration and Moscow.
After claiming that repeated contacts between members of Trump's team and Russian officials
convinced him that the case was worth investigating, Brennan admitted to Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC)
that HE DIDN'T KNOW of any solid evidence pointing towards collusion (via Daily Caller).
Gowdy absolutely grilled him before and after this admission.
The witch hunt continues on, however.
Former FBI Director Robert Mueller has been named as a special counsel tasked with investigating
the Trump-Russia connection.
Liberals are ecstatic over this choice.
Yet, Mueller's former law firm, WilmerHale, has ties to Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and
Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, who liberals claim has the strongest so-called
"ties" to Putin's government (via NPR).
Furthermore, Mueller once got caught in a lie while testifying before Congress.
In 2006, Mueller claimed that the FBI did not undertake surveillance on certain activist
groups.
That was provably false, via Got News.
Few can predict what Mueller will do, although Brennan, a deep state operative and loyalist
to the Democrats, seems to indicate that Mueller will find nothing of substance — though
we bet Mueller will try.
Brennan's confession is even more damning given his history of trying to undermine President
Trump.
GCHQ, the British intelligence agency linked to the infamous and FALSE dossier about Trump's
dalliances with prostitutes in Russia, worked closely with Brennan between 2015 and 2016.
In that time, Brennan began circulating rumors that Russia and Trump were working hand-in-glove,
via The Guardian.
The former member of the American Communist Party further worked with GCHQ and Estonian
intelligence in order to weaponize intelligence leaks against Trump, via American Spectator.
All the investigations and committees in the world will not find anything on Trump.
If they haven't found a smoking gun yet, then it does not exist.
They keep looking though, for as long as this story stays in the news, more gullible Americans
will continue to believe that Russia hijacked our election.
That's exactly what the Left wants — popular support for either an impeachment or a single-term
presidency.
Let us not give the Left what it wants.
Let's fight back against their ridiculous charges and this political theater.

Traitor John McCain's Damning Secret Goes Public – THIS IS TREASON - Duration: 11:37.
Traitor John McCain's Damning Secret Goes Public – THIS IS TREASON
Senator John McCain's true colors have really bled out over the past year, haven't they?
The more we learn, the more we realize just how much of an impact he had on Donald Trump's
presidential election run in 2016.
Now, despite McCain's claims that he had little involvement in the whole Trump Dossier
mess, a new book proves quite the opposite.
The aforementioned dossier, the work of anti-Trumpers in the DNC and Hillary Clinton's camp, has
since been largely discredited, but it caused quite the stir initially.
And it probably would've been dismissed as a bunch of garbage had it not been for
McCain, who heard about this dossier and apparently took matters into his own hands.
In a book entitled, "Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin's War on America and
the Election of Donald Trump," we learn that McCain's treachery began early.
Via Breitbart: "In their work, Isikoff and Corn relate
how McCain first heard about the dossier and how the Arizona senator dispatched a close
associate, David J. Kramer, a former State Department official, to retrieve a physical
copy.
Consistent with another recent report in the Washington Post, the authors write that McCain
was told about the dossier at a security conference in Canada by Sir Andrew Wood, a former British
ambassador to Moscow and friend of Steele.
McCain in turn dispatched Kramer to meet Steele in England to view the dossier."
In short, McCain's delivery of the dossier to then-FBI director James Comey added a ton
of urgency to the issue, and thrust it into the limelight:
"…The Bureau already had the memos.
But now that one of the Senate's most influential members was worked up about the Steele dossier,
it became a more urgent matter."
And as we all know, that Dossier really hurt Trump's chances for a while, and he had
to overcome all those false Russia rumors.
Thankfully, however, he did, despite McCain's best efforts to derail Donald's rise
to office.

TRUMP ORDERED SESSIONS TO STOP MUELLER FOR GOOD,HE WILL BE FIRED - Duration: 11:38.
TRUMP ORDERED SESSIONS TO STOP MUELLER FOR GOOD,HE WILL BE FIRED
It looks the final few innings of Bob Mueller's investigation will soon commence.
We all knew this was coming and only liberals may be surprised.
They think Trump will just go simply into the good night and lay down and quit when
Mueller's probe reaches its conclusions.
They don't know Trump, clearly.
Trump is a fighter and he will fight until the end.
From CNBC:
President Donald Trump on Wednesday called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to end Robert
Mueller's Russia probe immediately, escalating his attacks on the inquiry.
"Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now," the president
wrote in a post on Twitter.
"Bob Mueller is totally conflicted, and his 17 Angry Democrats that are doing his
dirty work are a disgrace to USA!" Trump's tweet came before the trial of ex-campaign
chief Paul Manafort entered its second day in federal court in Virginia.
Manafort is being tried by Mueller's team.
Sessions, who endorsed Trump's presidential bid during the 2016 campaign, recused himself
from the Russia investigation last March, before Mueller was appointed.
The investigation is being overseen by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who has defended
Mueller against critics in Congress.
Trump has attacked Sessions several times for his recusal.
In June, the president wrote in a post on Twitter that Mueller was continuing to investigate
"all because Jeff Sessions didn't tell me he was going to recuse himself."
"I would have quickly picked someone else.
So much time and money wasted, so many lives ruined…and Sessions knew better than most
that there was No Collusion," Trump tweeted.
Look, unless there is some extraordinary evidence linking Trump and Russia like some quid pro
quo, Trump isn't going anywhere and will go down swinging – of that you can be sure.
So the battle that will end in the Supreme Court has officially begun, expect it to be
a bumpy ride.

JUST IN Trump Simply Wrecked Robert Mueller – HAVE FUN IN JAIL - Duration: 13:40.
JUST IN Trump Simply Wrecked Robert Mueller – HAVE FUN IN JAIL
Mueller thought he had Donald cornered—but now it's check and mate for Trump.
From day one, the Russia investigation was a sham.
We know there was no collusion by the Trump campaign.
Russia—whatever they may or may not have done—did it alone.
There has never been a shred of credible evidence to suggest Trump or his people worked with
the foreign power.
This entire controversy was started over a bogus dossier with false information.
The dossier was created by Hillary Clinton to slander Trump—with help from foreign
agents, including those in Russia.
So who was really colluding with the foreign power?
This drama only goes on because unhinged liberals want it to.
They truly believe their own lies: that Trump is a Russian sleeper agent hired by Putin
to take down the United States.
Hollywood scripts have more believable plots.
But finally, after over a year and a half of nonsense, Trump is making waves in the
investigation and doing what Mueller thought he would never do.
From ABC News:
President Donald Trump took to Twitter Wednesday to call on his Attorney General Jeff Sessions
to shut down special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in
the 2016 election.
"This is a terrible situation and Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged
Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further.
Bob Mueller is totally conflicted, and his 17 Angry Democrats that are doing his dirty
work are a disgrace to USA!" Trump wrote, in the third of a series of tweets.
The tweet was one in a series of messages in a thread started by the president in which
he quoted lawyer and legal commentator Alan Dershowitz, a vocal critic of Mueller's
investigation.
"FBI Agent Peter Strzok (on the Mueller team) should have recused himself on day one.
He was out to STOP THE ELECTION OF DONALD TRUMP.
He needed an insurance policy.
Those are illegal, improper goals, trying to influence the Election.
He should never, ever been allowed to remain in the FBI while he himself was being investigated.
This is a real issue.
It won't go into a Mueller Report because Mueller is going to protect these guys.
Mueller has an interest in creating the illusion of objectivity around his investigation."
ALAN DERSHOWITZ," Trump wrote in two tweets.
There is a lot Trump can do to end the investigation immediately.
He can, in fact, just fire Mueller.
As an agent of the DOJ, he answers to the president.
There is no reason Mueller should still be working on this case when he's produced
nothing.
So why doesn't the president fire Mueller?
Unlike Obama, Trump doesn't consider himself a dictator.
He isn't interested in abusing his power for his own gain.
He appointed Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.
Trump expects him to carry out his duties properly.
Donald Trump won't bypass that chain of command.
He let the investigation go on for this long, knowing it will vindicate his campaign.
But it's long past the time for it to end.
Trump is now giving Sessions a chance to end it properly.
If he refuses, Trump might take stronger measures.
Regardless of how it happens, this Russian investigation is over.
Mueller's got nothing.
The only trial going forward involves Paul Manafort and crimes he committed years before
the election.
It's time this hoax
was put
to
an end.
