But here are black homicide victims in 2016 seven thousand eight hundred and eighty-one
blacks killed in street violence
Killed and that number is up pretty dramatically from 2015 where it was seven thousand thirty-nine
that's up over 800 people eight hundred more people killed in street violence and
The point I'm trying to make here is is it a selective outrage?
Is it you see all of this anger and all of this outrage at officers?

Committed some sort of an act or killed an unarmed black man, and we understand that
But why does the black lives matter seem to care about any of the black people killed on the streets of Chicago?
I mean when when you get six or eight killed a weekend? Yeah, so we have two issues we have
You know a community with a relationship problem with the police right now
And we can talk about especially when it comes to police brutality when it's warranted
I think what's appropriate to talk about that
But when you have the representative of the movement Colin Kaepernick that depicted all cops as pigs by wearing those socks
Then it can be problematic, but if you're talking about black lives, and it's truly about black lives
Then it shouldn't just be about police brutality. It should be black laws, but I'm sorry black lives in general
you know that it's police brutality or
black people killing each other I
Just I don't understand why that's not a subject why is it that black lives matter can't be bothered with I mean you have
Countless young people killed in in major cities in this country every single day a lot of the times by gang on gang violence
Right and nobody seems to care
I mean they don't they don't bat an eye over that and a lot of times
These are innocent kids walking to the school bus stop getting hit by an errant bullet nobody cares until it's an officer robbed this is
The result of this being a political issue now, it's not about people
It's not about or any truly black lies because it was we could talk about you know violence economics a poor education
If it was truly about improving the lives of black folks
Then those issues would be at the forefront just by judging by the numbers, right
