hey guys today's video is a little bit of a different format namely my
experience traveling from Qatar into the United States the regulation that has
been passed recently under which originally electronic devices of size larger
than a cell phone were actually banned from the airplane from the carry on under
that original regulation you would have to check all of that equipment into the
luggage and pray that it will make home safe now several airlines they actually
substitute that kind of ban they are doing additional screening of that
equipment for example you have a lot that you have to surrender your laptop
they would swap your electronic device meaning they will try to see
if electronic device was contact with any kind of
chemicals that can be used in the explosives and they will use this
amazing gadget called the duty free plastic bag and they would literally
take your laptop and they would....I should have done it before
and seal it so now your equipment is within this plastic bag which has
checked tag do not open all over it and I will hand it over back to you for you to
go through yet another screening now with all your electronics sitting in a
plastic bags I'm not necessarily complaining okay I am complaining but
that's a complaint that hopefully will help you guys it's one thing if you have
only one laptop and cheers to you kudos to you that you managed to travel
internationally with only one device larger than the cell phone but for
someone like me who has a laptop a drone several additional smaller gadgets a
camera like this and now I have to carry thousands dollars worth of equipment in
plastic bags guess how anxious I am because at any moment as I'm going
through that additional security screen which is right after that electronics
swabbing there are hundreds of people trying to go through towards the gate to
board the flight and now to make things even more interesting someone asked me
oh by the way do you happen to have lenses in your back yes I do have my
two additional lenses do you have a recording device I have a Walkman again
promise I'll explain why I actually had this thing with me in one of the
following videos okay both of your lenses plus this bad boy need to go in
more plastic bags with all of your other equipment the reason I'm telling you
this the reason why I decided to make this short video is really to share my
experience because I don't think it's that as seamless of an experience and it
really depends on the type of people who are doing the screening and the amount
of equipment you have with you take into consideration the fact that we have to
trust all of the equipment
into this creative gadget again not trying to complain too much because I'd
rather have my equipment with me rather than having to check all of the
equipment into my luggage and then biting my nails all the way through the
12-hour flight hoping praying that no one steals the equipment or breaks
equipment that I have in those bags just interesting experience something I had
to go through I hope you find it useful again let me know if you had a different

better and I do hope that all of your equipment made it back in one piece I'm
very curious to hear what the experience was coming back from other countries
besides Qatar or other Airlines besides Qatar Airlines that I used on this trip
