I'd like to welcome "Grace JETS," formed by alumni of "JETS" Fukui Commercial High School Cheerleader Club.
Hello, everyone.
We are Grace JETS which was formed by alumni of JETS Fukui Commercial High School Cheerleader Club!
We are very grateful that we can perform on a great stage like this.
Also, we want to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Happiring.
We hope everyone will enjoy cheer dancing today with the Happiring team.
During this event, we will teach you a dance choreographed to a song used in the movie, "Cheer and Dance."
Let's enjoy dancing together!
After we graduated from Fukui Commercial High School,
we went our separate ways. Some of us started working and some of us went on to tertiary studies.
We perform with our motto which is being strong, graceful and beautiful.
Today, seven of us are going to perform on the stage.
The seven of us were in the team that
won the NDA National Championship in the USA.
Due to all of your support from Fukui and all over Japan, we had a great experience.
Thank you so much for all your support.
We are very thankful for it.
With all your support we won the championship,
and that experience has made us strong.
We show our gratitude to the people from Fukui and all over Japan who always have supported us through our various activities.
We continue cheering and encouraging others.
Please continue supporting us.
Ok, now, we would like to move onto the second piece.
For our first dance, we danced to hip-hop music.

I've heard that the leader of the Grace JETS, was one of the original members of "JETS" Fukui Commercial High School Cheerleader Club, is that right?
Yes.
You've just performed in front of this many people,
how do you feel now?
Well, I really didn't think that this many people would come today.
Even on the second floor, there are many people in the audience!
I am very grateful to perfom here today.
Some of the audience danced with us today and
some of them clapped along,
so I really enjoyed performing for them.
The audience looked very excited to see you perform,
so its clear that people from Fukui continue to support you.
Thank you.
You were one of the original members of JETS Fukui Commercial High School Cheerleader club.
You won the first prize at the NDA National Championship.
How did you feel when you won?
When the team first started, the team members and I kept saying, "Let's go to the USA for the NDA National Championship."
We practiced very hard for the next 3 years.
When I finally stood on stage at the Championships, I had goosebumps.
I wasn't nervous, I was excited to be standing there just like I had dreamed.
I wanted to perform right away.
I see.
Have you seen the movie, "Cheer and Dance,"
starring the famous Japanese actress, Suzu Hirose?
Yes, all of us have watched it more than twice.
I'm sure that many of the people in the audience have seen it as well.
Thank you.
What did you think of the movie?
Watching the movie gave me flashbacks to the time when we won first prize at the Championships.
I couldn't help but get emotional and cry because there were so many parts that looked just like our experience.
I cried during many scenes.
The Fukui dialect spoken by the actresses in the movie is pretty good too, right?
Yes, it made me realize Fukui has a strong accent.
Yes.
I think that the Fukui accent is one of the highlights of the movie as well.
We would like to continue performing our cheer dance at events in Fukui Prefecture
to let everyone know about cheer dancing and inspire the people of Fukui.
We want to continue cheering everyone on, more and more.
Everyone, we have a great news.
They will perform one more piece! Isn't that exciting?
Enjoy!
Go! G JETS!
Thank you!
They were amzing!
Thank you, Grace JETS!
