Coal, electricity, gas, oil
We've dug for energy resources, we have burnt and destroyed
Storms, submerged cities, overflowing sewers
We have fallen one after the other like in a huge endless domino game
I have to get out, the need for water is blurring my mind
They were all convinced of being unique and different
Cultures, religions, borders, laws, skin colour
No one was different, we were all part of the same mud.
We chose comfort, petrol, pesticides, global warming, sea pollution
Even the air has become an enemy: deadly and unbreathable
Bombs hit nuclear stations giving birth to repulsive beings
and rains that can tear flesh apart
We have invested time and energy in useless jobs
We have elected puppets full of shining lies who drained this world and burnt
even the atmosphere in the flames of a war between anthills
I must reach the tower
Survival instinct
The tower
and the water my body is longing for
The oxygen filter is empty
and my thoughts are still going astray
like the rotten bodies floating on purple rivers
Modern age is the past
I never wanted to bring the world of men back to life
It's time for a new birth
Nature is already restoring her balance
and I'm not part of it
One day the great fire of London will die out,
the sea will recede and show the light of a new Venice.
Storms and lightnings will stop beating down
on the rouin cathedrals of Paris
and everything man created will become ashes
I'm tired
and I almost can't move anymore
I just wan to see the sky
I only wan to breathe
