Actor Jim Nabors, who gained fame playing the loveable Gomer Pyle on two hit TV shows,

died Thursday at the age of 87.

Nabors died at his home in Hawaii after being in declining health for a year.

Nabors first created the character of Gomer Pyle on the classic sitcom "The Andy Griffith

Show," which eventually led to a solo spinoff show for the character.

Besides acting, Nabors was an accomplished singer, releasing a number of hit albums over

the years.

USA Today has more.

Jim Nabors, who created one of TV's beloved comedic characters, Gomer Pyle, died Thursday

in Hawaii at the age of 87, his personal assistant Charisse Gines confirmed for USA TODAY.

The entertainer, who underwent a liver transplant in 1994 after contracting hepatitis B, died

peacefully at his home after his health had declined for the past year, his husband, Stan

Cadwallader, told the Associated Press.

"Everybody knows he was a wonderful man.

And that's all we can say about him.

He's going to be dearly missed," said Cadwallader, who married Nabors in early 2013

in Washington state.

The Alabama native had a long career that featured TV and movie roles, more than two

dozen albums and numerous concert appearances, including long-running shows in Las Vegas

and Hawaii, the latter of which became his home in the 1970s.

He bought a 500-acre macadamia ranch there.

He received a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1991.

Nabors was best known for his role as the sweet, gentle Marine in the title role of

Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., a CBS comedy that was a top-five hit during its five-season run

in the 1960s.

Gomer's dust-ups with his hard-nosed superior, Sgt. Carter (Frank Sutton), were the heart

of the show and the character's trademark exclamations — "Well, Golllll-ly!" and

"Shazam!"— became familiar to millions.

Leatherface (2017) - Movie Review - Duration: 6:14.

Hi, I am Torstein from Cinema Terror and today I am back with another new film that I saw

at the fantastic recent horror movie festival called Ramaskrik here in Norway.

Leatherface is the newest entry into the apparantly indestructable franchise of The Texas Chainsaw

Massacre.

I can't say that I have enjoyed any movies from this franchise since perhaps the third

one, ironically also called Leatherface, released back in 1990.

Leatherface takes us back to the events that made Leatherface into the character that he

becomes, so this is a prequel in the same sence as the forgettable Texas Chainsaw Massacre

– The Beginning from 2006.

In this new one, we get to experience the upbringing of Leatheface and how he was taken

away from the Sawyer family to be put into a mental institution.

We then follow him as a young adult together with a few others when they break out of the

mental institution ten years later, with plenty of murder and mayhem included on the ride.

Now I will be honest and say that I originally had zero interest in any new Texas Chainsaw

movie, but the fact that this is directed by the French duo Julien Maury and Alexandre

Bustillo did make me curious that perhaps this might not be so bad after all.

So how was Leatherface?

Well, for me who haven't enjoyed any of the last five, six or seven, wheverer they are

at now, this one ended up being just another poor experience with me wanting to rather

watch the first, original again instead of any of this newer crap.

I have no idea what the idea of this film was supposed to be.

It does nothing to add to the Texas Chainsaw saga, in fact it actually does more harm than

good to it due to them messing with the Leatherface character, taking away his mystique, if you

will, and rather give him a lame backstory that feels out of character if you watch the

original Texas Chainsaw movie.

He goes from being a more of less normal young guy here, then in a very unconvincing twist

he goes bonkers and voila, he suddenly becomes the infamous Leatherface.

The reason for why he choose to wear a human mask is also unsatisfying here and you just

can't see how this little guy would go on to become the animalistic monster that scares

audiences worldwide back in the 70's.

Funny enough, most of the film is spent with others being the villain as Leatherface and

a few others are basically being forced to tag along with a crazy, murdering couple who

are on a murder spree on their way down to Mexico.

This couple gets too much screen time, putting other more important characters to the main

story in the background, including Stephen Dorff's character as the local police detective

who has a personal vendetta towards the Sawyer family and of course Vanessa Grasse's character

as nurse Lizzy.

She is setup early on to become sort of the final girl in the film, a good choice by all

means as she is absolutely gorgeous and still has a volunerable side to her, but she gets

nothing at all to work with here.

She is basically sticking around in the film as they needed someone for Leatherface to

go hunt after during the end.

So there are basically no characters to stay interested in, including mother fucking Leatherface,

and there isn't anything interesting when it comes to the visuals either, which is a

huge shame is you are familiar with some of Maury and Bustillo's first two films, Inside

and Livid.

I am very disappointed in their work here as I expected much, much more.

Even the violent scenes aren't all that great with many scenes of the kill scenes being

off screen with only blood spattering being shown.

And while you might mention that the original didn't have much blood, or practically any

at all in it, this one has a feel that it needed some more gory scenes while the original

didn't.

I am not sure if all blame are to be put on the French duo though as this has been a troubled

production that originally did its filming in May of 2015 in Bulgaria out of all places,

before reshoots being done a year later, with the film sitting in post-production all the

way up until this fall even if it originally was set to be released last year.

Even with being attached to such a huge horror franchise it is not quietly being dumped onto

streaming platforms with hardly any theatrical release at all.

Leatherface is another miss in a long run of misses from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre

franchise.

A lot of these films has made back its money, so it is understandable why they have kept

on making these, but judging by the limited release this one is getting, I am going to

guess that it will be a while until the next time we see Leatherface on the big or small

screen and I am good with that idea.

Leatherface might work for those who you that actually enjoy the majority of the movies

in this franchise, but I would not recommend this at all to anyone.

Leatherface has little to offer and even if I didn't go into it with huge expectations,

it was still able to disappoint me.

Leatherface is gets the low score of 1.5 out of 5.

Who else has sat through this film yet and what did you think of it?

If you like it then I would also be interested in hearing if you've enjoyed the previous

films that we have gotten from this franchise during the last ten, twenty years.

Let me know about it in the comment section below, and if you thought this review was

done decently enough, then make sure to check out the rest of my channel as well.

Thank you for watching.

The Junkyard Fishing Rig saves you so much money! - Duration: 12:20.

Today, we're using a special rig that we like to call...

The Junkyard Rig!

That's a big one!

Ooh! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't!

Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! DON'T!

Stop! Stop, stop, stop stop! -Okay!

So basically, we've been tog--

we've been tog fishing for the past 2-3 weeks now,

and um, something that we learned with tog fishing is that you lose a lot,

a lot, a lot of gear.

I went through 15 sinkers the other day,

and, um, that adds up!

So,

we have met some new friends here at Deleware,

um, this guys name is Gage,

he's uh, he's a local fisherman here and he's very good.

He showed us this awesome rig, where

instead of using sinkers, you just go to a junkyard,

and get a bunch of these spark plugs

and either they'll sell it to you for really cheap or they'll just give it to you for free,

and basically, what you do is

you attach a--a paperclip onto it

so that if your--if your sinker gets stuck there,

instead of breaking off your entire rig,

just the sparkplug will come off.

This thing will bend out of shape, and uh,

you know, instead of losing the whole rig, you just lose the spark plug.

So tog fishing is very difficult, and uh, this is something that

I have just picked up not too long ago,

probably a month now,

and um, basically, they like to hide by reefs or under--around

underwater structure or rocks,

stuff like that, um,

casting a sinker into that area is what you want to do

um, but now,

the good thing about this is there's fish there,

the bad thing is that you'll always lose

at least one rig.

Um, from my experience at least.

Uh, these fish are notorious for- for being bait stealers

and uh, they're a very frustrating fish.

*long sigh*

--so that's why this rig is so,

I think is, uh, so efficient and I wanted to show it to you guys

because this could save you guys a lot of money!

Um, either, I mean--

It takes a lot of time to tie a bunch of rigs,

and it costs money to buy hooks,

and fluorocarbon leader,

and-and sinkers, and it all adds up!

This thing really saves your rig from being completely snagged,

because instead of-- instead of the whole rig breaking off,

the paperclip will bend out of shape and you'll just lose the spark plug.

Comment below some other things that you would use for sinkers!

Um, I'm sure a spark plug is not the only thing

that could be uh, used as a sinker.

What are some other ideas? Comment below!

*drag screeches* Woahh! Ooh! (That's what I thought we were doing-- Woah, nice!)

Oh, nice!

It's a short.

Woah, nellie.

Same size.

Nice, did you have the s--? --And look at that! Look!

--And it saved--the paperclip saved the weight!

Sho--! Go, show the camera! Show the camera over here.

So--? Oh.

No!

It's there though, I can get it. Alright.

This is how Gage told me to put on the spark plug.

First, you get a paperclip.

And that's it.

You just put it on like that.

Now,

You have your loop end

feed it through there,

and just bend,

bend it around like that.

So now, if this gets stuck

you'll not lose the whole rig.

You'll just lose the spark plug.

*drag screeches*

Oh! Wow- nice!

Nice, man.

--And that's 4 - 4.

4 - 4!

Yeah.

Yo, I found--I found the sp--!

The spot to hook the sand fleas.

Where--where?

Where do you hook the sand flea?

I'll show you, I'll show you.

So how we're going to hook this sand flea

is up here by the head.

There's a lateral line that runs up and down

and I'll put it right there

tuck it right in that corner.

Ah! Ha ha ha!

So inside here

the hook is hidden.

The tog like to eat out this, the leg area and the tail area

and we keep missing them because they keep biting around the hook,

now the hook is hidden in there, and hopefully

they have no choice but to bite the hook.

Gage has gone 4 - 4 now.

(Ha ha) and I've gone uh

100 ---

0 - 100 Ha ha!

I also think we have an advantage with the size 2 hook.

Why is that?

Because the way we're hooking it now, we're covering more of the flea

than we would even with a smaller hook. -Right.

Ooh.

Oh yeah!

Finally!

A little baby one.

Ha ha ha!

You've finally got one--what is this? 1 out of 110?

Alright.

That's just a little baby one,

But uh, these fish are very tasty!

I'm here.

He got another one.

What the heck?

Ha ha ha ha!

Killin' it.

Can you talk a little bit about the spark plug and where you would acquire a spark plug from?

So the whole spark plug purpose is just being resourceful,

we um,

we fish out here so much that we lose

countless and countless, countless of weights,

and that can get expensive.

It can get very expensive when you lose a lot of lead.

So what we-we're--

so, me and a couple of my buddies,

so, we thought about spark plugs.

Using two of them will give you about

2.75 (oz.) which is perfect for an inlet,

you really don't need much 'cause you don't need to cast out too far,

you just need to be able to drop in the water column.

So what we did was we thought of a paper clip,

so, say if we get snagged,

our paperclip

will bend out

and you'll lose that

before you lose your rig. Oh, that's smart.

And replacing a spark plug is easier than replacing a rig.

Right...

So the spark plug is working pretty well,

um, the difference is

you have to, you have to feel it more and it's

it's harder to feel the spark plug because it's lighter than a 2 oz. sinker

I would usually use a 2-3 oz. sinker for this,

and I hooked it the way that Gage taught me,

which is just through the parts that the fish like to eat

which is like, the under side.

Um, and the hook is just barely showing.

But that's where it's going to try and bite.

Erin!

That's a big one!

Come on, Brendon. Aaargh!

Come on, baby.

Ooh!!! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't!

Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! DON'T!

Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop!!! Okay, okay, okay, I'm stopping, I'm stopping.

Come on.

Come on.

Tell me it's still there.

Still there?!

Uh huh.

*Erin makes high pitched noise of anxiety???*

Don't let him get away, man!

Ooh! Slob!

Huh? Slob!

Nice! Absolute slob.

Ho!! Ha ha ha ha!

That thing pulled hard, man! Absolute slob.

Wow. First hookset!

I hooked it on the first bump, like you said, Gage.

Ooh. Look!

And he would have gotten you snagged but your weight broke off.

My weight broke off!

And that is why he used a spark plug! So everything worked, man!

That's how you do it!

That's a beautiful fiiish!

Yeah!!

That's a slob!

My teacher right here!

Thank you. That's a slob, son.

So I would have lost that if I had a regular sinker on there, huh? (Uh huh.) (Oh my gosh, that is so enormous.)

So the spark plug broke off...

Whoo!

What a fish!

I'm super jealous!

He he he!

Sixteen.

Is it?

Fifteen and a--

Sixteen.

Good fish.

Ohh!

Hoo hoo hoo hoo!

That thing was strong, really put my reel to the test with that one.

Yeah, he hammered it.

I knew once I saw the white of his belly flash. Uh huh

Alright, get on it, Gage! You're up!

That's dinner.

I hooked that thing good, look at that, it engulfed the whole thing.

That wasn't going nowhere.

Now this is a dinner - sized fish right here!

Keeper!

Now if you touch these fish, they're very fatty fish, they're really squishy looking fish,

and look at these teeth!

Okay? Oh, my.

You see these?

These are very strong, crushing teeth.

And inside their throats, they've got more teeth!

To crush down and break shells.

Alright!

Congratulations, my dear. That's a good size.

Alright, the conclusion is

this, this, uh, junk yard rig works pretty well!

Ha ha ha ha ha!

I caught a nice keeper on it.

Um, and, Didn't get snagged.

Didn't get it snagged, if I didn't have this on it,

that fish would have gotten the sinker stuck into the rocks

and I could have lost it,

and um, because of Gages advice,

this worked really well.

And uh, a big shout out to Gage.

so, thank you guys for watching,

um,

if you guys like our show,

subscribe, if you guys really like our show,

we've got merchandise on our, um,

Life has a way

Nothing's easy,

but at the end of the day we have to dig deep

and push past those points.

I was in my third tour in Iraq,

when my vehicle was hit by an IED.

I looked down and I knew I was out of the fight.

My first thought was about my guys.

I didn't want them to come get me.

You wouldn't want to see your brother or sister get hurt.

But I know there's nothing I can tell them

to not come rescue me--

cause we're family.

<i>Hey what's up, Man?</i>

<i>First one here as always, brother.</i>

And they saved me.

<i>What's up, Eli? Let's do it.</i>

That's the thing the military teaches us.

That sense of brotherhood.

<i>We can definitely talk about Eli's shot.</i>

That sense of teamwork.

How to Make the Perfect Holiday Toast - Duration: 4:19.

Well, you knew this moment was coming; everyone's glasses are full and they're staring at you.

That's cause it's time for the holiday toast.

I'm Megan Finnerty and I'm the director and founder of The Storytellers Project here at

the USA TODAY NETWORK and I'm here to teach you how to give the perfect

holiday toast using tips and tricks from storytellers!

We're going to get started off right now and what you're going to need is a piece of paper

and a pen, or you can use the template we have right over here... below... somewhere

around here we sent you a template.

OK, let's get started.

Number one - You want to think about the audience.

You can't give a great toast if you don't know who's in the room.

First I want you to think: "Who are these people?"

Are they your family?

Are they your friends?

Are they your awkward coworkers?

Either way, write down everything you can about them.

How old are they?

Are they your coworkers?

Do they know what you do?

Do they agree with you politically or socially?

Have you seen them in years or is all of this very weird...

OK, figure that out and write it down.

If you can see'em, you can toast'em.

Number two - You want to think about saying something that gets everyone to agree with

you because that brings people together emotionally and closer.

So what you do is you just say: "Isn't this amazing that we're all here together?"

Or, "What a blessing that everyone traveled so safely to be here!"

Or, "How 'bout them Cubbies?!"

Just kidding.

I don't know if everyone says that but we say that at my holiday table.

So you say something generic that everyone can agree with and that just makes people

come closer to you with their hearts, and that's how you want to start the toast.

Then, you pivot and you toast - ready?

This is number three - Figure out are you toasting a person or a group, and then think

about a time that person or group said something or did something that taught you a lesson

or showed you something important.

It doesn't have to be a big deal!

It's just a time a person demonstrated really positive behavior or explicitly showed you

or taught you something that really matters to you today.

Take a minute, think about this, and jot it down.

OK, number four - Now is where you actually start putting together the toast.

I promise it can go quickly.

You just want to jot down a couple bullet points about the way this person or group

showed you that important lesson that matters to you still today.

So you can start with like, how old you were, time, date, place, and then maybe what the

problem was, what that person did to solve the problem, and then you just finish by saying

how important it still is to you today.

It's a pretty basic structure.

If you don't have a problem you can just reflect on the thing they taught you generically.

Maybe they just always did the right thing, and you want to toast to that now.

Just write that down.

So don't overthink this.

Alright number five - What you need to do to bring it all home is assume that basically

everyone else in the room has probably learned something awesome from this person too.

So you just raise your glass and you say: "To every time all of us have benefited or

learned or enjoyed [blah blah blah] from this person or group, we raise our glasses!"

It works every time.

So you just wrap by lifting your glass, inviting everyone to agree with you again, and then

take a drink.

Alright, I know what you're thinking: "Megan.

I've been drinking.

It's hot.

The holidays are coming.

Can't you just show me what a good toast looks like?"

Yes I can!

I'm going to try to toast my parents, because I think they're watching.

OK, are you ready?

So I'm going to have the holidays with my siblings, so they're who is in the audience

and I'm will jot down things like how old they are, and what they look like, and [blah

blah blah] but the good news is, I know these people.

So what I'm going to say is:

"Isn't it such a blessing that all of us were able to travel so far and so safely and be

here together.

It really matters.

You came from Seattle, I came from Phoenix.

You came from Cleveland, and Zion, and Mobile, Alabama and here we all are.

What a joy.

Now I really want to raise my glass and toast our parents, because they taught us the meaning

and the importance of being together.

Whether it was showing up to our Boy Scout meetings, Girl Scout meetings, baseball and

softball games, or oh God knows those terrible plays I was in all through high school, our

Mom and Dad were there every time; cheering us on and waving to us, and my Mom said "Whoop!,"

all the time.

Well listen, that's why we're all here today.

It's because it's still important to the rest of us to show up for everything.

So I really want to raise a glass and thank our parents for always demonstrating that

it really matters to be there in person; at the holidays, and throughout the rest of the

year.

Cheers."

It's as easy as that!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and I hope that all of your toasts at least are fun for

you.

I just love what the Miss Universe organization stands for. It's about being

strong, confident, and really pursuing your dreams and putting yourself out

there as well as helping people out in your community, so I thought that that

was a great way for me to be able to be involved in something like that.

I overcame bullying at a young age, and to have younger kids looking up to me and

being able to tell them no matter what happened in your past or what's going on

now, that doesn't define you and you can overcome anything that's thrown at you.

The new Miss North Dakota USA 2018 is Abigail Pogatshnik.

Even I never really thought that pageants were gonna be something that I

could do just because I didn't really, I guess believe in myself, and I didn't know

what it was all about, but learning that you know if you just put yourself out

there, things will come to you, and you can be a role model really to anyone and

I'm happy to represent North Dakota.

Republicans rushed to push the massive tax break for America's wealthiest

through with little scrutiny who would have thought that the fate of the Senate

tax giveaway would rest on the shoulders of Arizona sends John McCain and Jeff

Flake yet here we are the Senate is planning to push a massive partisan tax

cut for the richest Americans through the Senate in as little time as possible

the GOP Senate plan would increase the deficit by a staggering 1.5 trillion

dollars dollars over ten years would raise taxes on many middle-class

Americans would hike taxes on college students in carved new loopholes into

the tax code instead of removing them tax breaks for private jets

really that's clearing the barnacles off the tax code McCain has proven that

he'll sink a major GOP initiative with his vote against the half-baked health

care plan earlier this year and he voted against the Bush tax cuts in 2001 and

2003 fearing that the benefits would largely go to America's wealthiest and

the deficit would explode which by the way is exactly what happened and it's

what's going to happen with this package too so it's possible that the old McCain

will reemerge for this vote although he's been making supportive noises about

cutting taxes this week flake is among the senators who are expressing concern

about the way the plan will increase the deficit especially because the way the

Senate has set up the legislation lawmakers will either have to raise

taxes on middle-income Americans in ten years or the cost of the proposal Rises

even more and since GOP senators are already promising that no politician

would allow taxes to rise on middle-class Americans it's obvious

they're just gaming the system to keep the technical cost within the arcane

rules of budget legislation so the deficit is going to increase by even

more than the projected 1.5 trillion dollars given how much Republican

lawmakers squawked about the deficit while President Barack Obama was an

office it's a bit astonishing to see how little they care about it today but in

the end this legislation shows they are far more concerned about helping out

corporate interests and the wealthiest of the wealthy than they are in

balancing the budget improving healthcare dealing with undocumented

youth or handling any other other real problems facing most Americans

it appears that voters have caught on to the Sham here though the tax bill is

remarkably unpopular a recent survey of 400 Arizona voters by heart Research

Associates showed just 26% of Arizonans approved of the tax plan while 44% are

opposed more than half of those surveyed 52% believe the plan will primarily

benefit the wealthy and 51% of Arizona Republicans say it's more important to

reduce the deficit then pass an across-the-board tax cut those numbers

mirror national polls that are showing that the idea of borrowing money to cut

taxes for people at the top of the food chain is and something voters are

clamoring for but don't expect representative Martha Moxley to raise a

peep about the budget-busting nature of this giveaway insulae who has her eyes

set on the Senate eagerly voted in favor of the House version of this bill how

bad does mcsoley wanted to make that leap to the Senate she tweeted out a

photo of herself in President Donald Trump's embrace raising a big thumbs up

at the thought of borrowing more money to give away to millionaires and

billionaires speaking of Representative martha mcsally's plans to move on to the

senate we hear the big contenders on the GOP side are Lee Marquez Peterson the

president and CEO of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and former state

lawmaker Dan at vote who is now working as executive director of the Arizona

Corporation Commission on the Democratic side there's already a full lineup with

Ann Kirkpatrick the former representative of congressional district

1 former state lawmakers Matt Heinz and Bruce wheeler Mary Mattie Ella

a former Assistant Secretary of the army and Billy Kovacs a hotel manager making

his first foray into politics but if McCauley does indeed give up the

seat and run for the US Senate there's another Democrat who is thinking about

getting into the race Pima County Supervisor Richard de les if a lie of

senders the race it will likely spell trouble for Maddie

Ayla if congressman Raul Grijalva decides to shift his endorsement to his

old friend on the Pima County Board of Supervisors the televised edition of

zona politics with Jim nine solaris 6:30 p.m. Fridays on the creative Tucson

Network Cox channel 20 and Comcast channel 74 this week's guests are Nancy

Jones of Old Pueblo Community Services and Tyler Meyer executive director of

the a poetry Center the TV show repeats Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. the radio

edition of zona politics airs at 5:00 p.m. Sundays on community radio kxc i

Russell Simmons Steps Down After "SEXUAL ASSAULT" Allegation | Breaking News Today - Duration: 5:06.

Russell Simmons steps down after sexual assault allegation Russell Simmons is

stepping down from his companies in the wake of an accusation of harassment and

sexual assault Simmons the founder of hip hop music label Def Jam Recordings

and CEO of rush communications released a statement on Thursday after

screenwriter Jenny Lumet accused him of forcing her to have sex with him in 1991

she detailed the encounter in the guest column published by The Hollywood

Reporter on Thursday I have been informed with great anguish of Jenny

Loomis recollection about our night together in 1991 Simmons said in a

statement I know Jenny and her family and have seen her several times over the

years since the evening she described while her memory of that evening is very

different from mine it is now clear to me that her feelings of fear and

intimidation are real while I have never been violent I have been thoughtless and

insensitive in some of my relationships over many decades and I sincerely and

humbly apologize the statement continued this is a time of great transition the

voices of the voiceless those who have been hurt or shamed deserve and need to

be heard as the corridors of power inevitably make way for a new generation

I don't want to be a distraction so I am removing myself from the businesses that

I founded the companies will now be run by a new and diverse generation of

extraordinary executives who are moving the culture and consciousness forward I

will convert the studio for yogic science into a not-for-profit center of

learning and healing as for me I will step aside and commit myself to

continuing my personal growth spiritual learning and above all to listening in

Lumet's column she wrote that maybe recalling of this incident can be

helpful to other women who have spoken out against Simmons but realizes there's

a lot at stake and coming forward with her story there is so much guilt and so

much shame Lumet wrote there is an excruciating internal reckoning as a

woman of I cannot express how wrenching it is to

write this about a successful man of color this latest accusation made by

lumen comes after a report by the Los Angeles Times published on November 19th

that detailed allegations of sexual misconduct made against director Brett

Ratner and Simmons a woman quoted in the story said Ratner and Simmons were in it

together Ratner and Simmons denied the allegations with Simmons adding that

abusing women in any way shape or form violates the very core of my being

Simmons 60 got his start in the music industry in the early 80s managing his

younger brother Joseph forever and run Simmons hip hop group Rhonda MDOT see

few but it's not just music that helped make Simmons a household name he went on

to create several successful clothing lines including fat farm RG LeCoultre

and tantras under his company rush communications incorporated Simmons has

also been heavily involved in philanthropy in 1995 he and his brothers

Reverend run and Danny Simmons co-founded the rush philanthropic hearts

foundation which helps expose inner-city youth to the Arts Simmons was named a

goodwill ambassador to the UN in 2009 and has also been a strong supporter of

gay rights and animal rights in recent years Simmons has been very vocal about

his spirituality calling himself a Christian yogi in 2016 he opened a yoga

studio in Los Angeles called tantras Simmons joins a long list of Hollywood

power players who have been accused of sexual misconduct in the last two months

to expose us published in October that detailed movie mogul Harvey Weinstein's

alleged harassment and assault against women opened the floodgates for others

come forward with their experiences Weinstein has denied all allegations of

non-consensual sex since then some of media's biggest names including Kevin

Spacey Louie CK Matt Lauer Charlie Rose and Mark Halpert

have been terminated from their jobs or lost lucrative deals over similar

allegations of sexual misconduct CNN reached out to some ins representatives

for comment who directed us to Simmons official statement

SARAH: Hi, I'm Sarah from Marketing, and today I'm reviewing Vetrap by 3M.

I use Vetrap all over the barn.

Mostly for my horse, Cody.

I use it if he has an injury that I need to keep a wound dressing in place or just keep

a wound covered.

I use it to wrap his feet if he loses a shoe and you need to put a hoof packing in.

If he has an abscess. It comes in super handy for all of those kind of things.

I've also used it for tack that has an uncomfortable pressure point or rub, you can provide a little

bit of extra padding by adding some Vetrap around there.

Basically, anywhere that I don't use duct tape, I'm probably using Vetrap.

I love that Vetrap is super stretchy and that it binds back to itself so that you don't

have to have anything over it to secure it onto your horse.

I have basic black here, but Vetrap comes in tons of super fun colors, so you can match

your horse's colors or your barn's colors.

We offer Vetrap in single rolls or, as I usually buy it, in a case of 18, because the only

thing that you can't have is too much Vetrap.

Every roll is 4 inches wide by 5 yards long, so you can get a lot out of this tiny little

roll.

I'm Sarah, and Vetrap by 3M will always be in my tack trunk.

😱 20 Things You Don't Know About Me (+ 35 Common English Expressions) - Duration: 17:01.

Hello and welcome back to another class with OLA English with Greg. Now, today I'm

gonna give you a little bit of a different class. I'm going to give you a

conversational class in which you are going to learn a ton of common useful

expressions and ways of expressing yourself in English. So if you're ready

let's begin!

I'm Greg from OLA OnlineLanguageAcademy.com

If you want to reach a high level of spoken English then click up there! Right,

today's video is conversational. I'm gonna answer 20 completely random

questions about me. If you like this video and you've got more questions that

you want me to answer for you, write your questions in the comments. If I get 10 or

20 comments with suitable questions then I will do another video like this

for you. So I haven't actually seen these questions yet and the idea is behind

this conversational class is that I'm just gonna answer relatively short

answers. I'm gonna answer them naturally and honestly and then I'm going to teach

you the most useful chunks. Chunks are groups of words which I think it's very

important for you to learn if you want to speak English fluently and also to

understand English more easily. OK, let's have a look at the questions then... bring

them on!

I actually quite enjoy my job, and when I start working if I've got enough

caffeine and enough brainpower I could just continue for 10, 12, 15 hours. I enjoy

what I do so I would probably choose four hours of.. four days of 10 hours a

week and a three-day weekend... that'd be great!

YouTube Facebook and and and the football app that tells me the football scores are when Liverpool are playing

Alright, ALSO, one of my favourite apps is Google Photos, when I take photos it

automatically uploads them to Google and from time to time they'll create a

little video or a collage, it'll tell me what I was doing on this day last year

and I absolutely love that it really takes away the the hassle of me putting

my photos on the computer and organizing them in in in folders and if you want to

search for something, if you want to search for, for example, a photo of my dad

in London, I would type in 'Dad London" and it'd bring up a load of photos of my dad

in London. WOW! I love that app, I couldn't live without it... Google photos!

My first job was a paperboy. I was a paperboy, I used to I used to spend half

an hour every day riding my bike up and down the hills where I'm from delivering

newspapers to to people who wanted their newspapers delivered. It paid five pounds

per week and I kind of did enjoy it. I didn't enjoy doing it on Saturdays, but

from Monday to Friday it was part of my routine and I loved having a job and I

loved the fact that, unlike friends of mine, you know, I had five pounds coming

in every day (*WEEK) and yeah I think it taught me the value of earning money from a

young age. I was, like, 13 when I did that.

Oh there are many many many foods I would not eat. I'm very boring when it

comes to food. Honestly, I like, I like meat, vegetables, chicken, y'know, beef...

Anything that's a little bit weird I won't touch and living in Spain there's so

much shellfish and so much... so many delicacies that for me they're a bit

weird, and I don't eat them! Ah, octopus,

shellfish, lobster... I'm not a shellfish person, snails? Ah no way! Absolutely no no

no no no! Just boring food for me please!

Groundhog Day? I used to live in the town where Groundhog Day was filmed and every

year they show the movie at the cinema (or the 'movie theater') there and

it's such an emotional moment, y'know, when you're in the, when you're in

the cinema with everybody from that town and suddenly you see your town on the

big screen. It's like wow, I mean, it's emotional, brings a... almost brings a

tear to my eye. AND it makes me laugh out loud!

Very funny film and I love it!

The best piece of advice I ever received was from my dad when I was about 16

years old and we had to decide what subjects we wanted to do when we were 17

and 18 years old in the last two years of school and I was gonna do scientific

subjects and I eventually changed my mind to do, like, maths, IT and human

biology, and my dad said, he said, "you know what why don't you do, like, a bit of

French in there too?" because French wasn't compulsory at that age he said, "just do a

little bit of French". I thought, "yeah!" He said, "just do one year", I said, "neh, okay".

He said, "you know, if you do one year you're gonna have a foreign language on

your CV where everybody else in England isn't, so just to a year of French!" I

thought, "yeah go on then, go on then. I enjoy French... let's do it!"

Well, the one year of French turned into two years of French which turned into a

degree at University in French which included a year in France which inspired

me to go to Spain for a year afterwards where I met my future wife and she took

me to America for three years and now it just got me in the language world and

made me want to teach and learn and it just... whoah, wow what a piece of advice!

What a piece of advice! Good father work!

English, I think! I mean I do enjoy teaching English, believe it or not, so if

I had to teach you a university I would yeah I would teach English... spoken

English. Any... spoken English!

I'd love... I'd proper love a parrot, I would! I really, really love birds and I would

love one of those big macaw type parrots. The thing is that I love them so

much that I'd actually feel quite bad having them in my house, I would want

them to be, yeah, out in the forests where they belong, in the jungle, so it's a... yes

I'd love one but I don't think I could do that to them, I would feel too bad. But,

for the sake of the question I'm gonna say parrot!

Fifteen years ago I was living in, I was living in France fifteen years ago!

2002 yeah so I, what would I take from France? From

France what would I put in a time capsule that I could have right now?

That's hard... there was a very nice fondue where I used to live called Fondue Creusois

I would like to put some of that in a time capsule and have it for lunch today!

What's surprised me about my current job? Let me tell you what surprised me the

other day about my current job. I took my laptop to another house, alright? And

when I came back I forgot my laptop. My laptop is my life

for work, y'know, it's got everything on it. What surprised me was that even

though I was 2 full days without my laptop I could still work perfectly.

Everything I use is online for that very reason. Like, I always want to know that if my

laptop gets gets broken or stolen then I can... it's not going to affect my business

and I was really surprised that it worked! So there you go, that surprised me

in a very very good way!

I think that... it sounds so cliché but I can't think of many jobs that I would

rather do. I can't think of any jobs that would rather do than the job that I

do! The only negative about my job at the

moment is that I don't have enough time to do more of my job! How ridiculous is

that? But it's true! And if I was guaranteed to be successful then I would

just do the same thing as I'm doing right now. Is that a boring answer? if it

is, then... football player!

The weirdest thing I've ever eaten was in Kenya we

went to some really cool restaurant in in Nairobi where they serve all sorts of

weird meat and, as I said before, I'm not really keen on trying different, strange

food, but that night I tried a few different things including a bit of

crocodile! And I probably had about, like, a mouthful of crocodile just so that I

could say that I'd eaten it! Very weird.

Shan't be trying it again. Thought it gives me a good answer for this question...

Crocodile!

The coolest road trip I've ever done was the mother of all road trips: Route 66!

Yeah, me and my wife did that a couple of years ago on our last summer vacation

before we had a baby. We went from Chicago and we went all the

way to New Mexico. We didn't actually do the final part because we wanted to see

Colorado as well, but my word, we went on a mammoth road trip around the States and

it was brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!

Right I live in Spain now and before this I lived in the United

States. What are the biggest differences between here and there? How long have you

got? I could do an entire video on this! The timetable, alright? In Spain we tend

to have lunch at 3:30 I used to have a lunch at 12:00 in the States. And we have

dinner at about... bufff what time do I have dinner? I have dinner at about 10 o'clock at night

here! I used to be sleeping at 10 o'clock in the States

y'know? Everything is kind of two hours later than it should be over here in

Spain. That's really the biggest difference and the biggest thing that

it's been hard to get used to. Also it's November and I'm wearing a t-shirt

outside! In November in Chicago we'd be snowing already so that's another huge

difference. It was starting to get nice and Christmassy and it still feels like

summer here. That's quite hard to get my head round as well.

Role model in terms of being a good person and growing up to be a good

person and a good parent and a good citizen?

My parents! And mentor like kind of educational or professional person I

would say my University professor David Hornsby. I think he did a great job of

making everything kind of make sense and make... he was so passionate about his... the

subject that he taught (which was linguistics) and I think that's where I

developed such a passion for the English language even though he taught me

linguistics... French linguistics... it really was so

incredibly infectious and kind of made everything make sense and make me

realize what my big big passion was and yeah, great mentor, great guy.

I would absolutely love to be able to fly! I would! I'd go on holiday whenever I

wanted. Cheap air fares. I'd go and just fly around the city, go up to the top of

the football stadium, watch the game for free.

It'd be a great money saver and it would be a lot of fun!

The strangest compliment I've ever got was that I've got nice teeth!

I didn't even think 'nice teeth' was a thing! But yeah, two people told me I've

got nice teeth. And I ended up marrying one of them! It obviously had a very

positive effect on me!

Alright, best piece of career advice I heard was this: find something you love

doing and then find someone who will pay you to do it! If you don't know what to

do with your life professionally, that's pretty good advice! The worst? I can't even

remember to be honest with you. I don't really.. You know what, when I get bad... when

I get advice that's just not relevant to me, it just totally goes over my head.

I don't even... I might go up mm-hmm but honestly it goes in one ear out the next,

and it's, it's instantly forgotten! So I really don't know, really don't know.

Alright, there you go, maybe you've learned a little bit more about me in

this lesson. Remember to write your questions for me in the comments below.

If I get a good number of questions I will do another conversational video

like this for ya! Alright, thanks for being here

and I'll see you in the next lesson! Bye for now!

A New Reality Is Manifesting on Gaia – Can You Feel It - Duration: 5:49.

A New Reality Is Manifesting on Gaia Can You Feel It

by Therese Zumi Sumner

This morning on the Swedish TV morning news show they interviewed a journalist from a

mainstream Swedish newspaper who has been reporting from Syria and the war there.

She basically said that this war has nothing to do with the Syrian people but is a war

between the nations with the most power in the East and West.

She mentioned on the one side the alignment of Iran, Iraq, and Russia and on the other

hand USA, Saudi Arabia and Israel.

I must admit that in 2010-2011 my opinion of President Assad was such that I said to

Source if I knew how to, I would willingly go there and put a bullet in his head.

Then Cobra came along and eventually a much clearer and broader view of reality evolved.

This Swedish journalist has won many prizes.

She has lived with the people in Raqqa, along with them she has experienced starvation,

lice all over her body, sleepless nights not knowing whats ahead at any moment.

When you listen to her you know she knows what shes talking about.

In case anyone still has any doubts about this the war in Syria is most definitely a

major part of NWO WW3 being played out.

Without the Light Forces ~ the Alliance on the surface ~ the RM below surface and not

in least the Galactic Confederation this third world war would have been multiple times worse.

Why Im telling you this is that I have never heard someone speaking in such plain

language about the truth of reality and clearly being invited and allowed to do so on mainstream

media.

To me this is a wonderful sign that things are changing fast now.

There are signs to be seen daily in our state owned TV that a more truthful reality is emerging.

I believe that we are there already now!!

We are day by day gliding over to this new reality.

Its taking place before our very eyes if we have eyes to see.

Have you heard that we are the creators of our reality?

That our experience of reality is a mirror of what we focus on from within?

The more that we decide to focus on the change taking place like many have done worldwide

in meditation these past 4 days or so the quicker it will manifest.

We have focused when possible, every four hours, that the Pink Feminine Warm Loving

Goddess energy descends like a blanket over every man woman and child and we visualize

/ see a healing taking place and celebrations of peace on Earth.

So, if (merely an example) your focus is worry about chemtrails still happening then thats

what you will manifest.

Most likely they will go on as long as the weather control is still in their hands

so why bother worry their power is about to end soon.

Lets focus upon what we want!

Lets focus upon what we want!

Focus on Love.

Send out loving vibes to everyone you meet whether or not they meet your eyes, and if

they do meet your eyes say Hi.

One place on the planet {there are sadly way too many} that could do with a little extra

healing energy at present is the Rohingya people who have crossed the border to Bangladesh

from northern Burma.

This is such a disgrace.

Ethnic rinsing because the powers that be in that country want to develop oil, marble

etc. industries in the area these people have resided.

They have burnt their houses, committed so many other atrocities to drive them away,

and now slave traders without any conscience whatsoever are stealing orphaned children

age 5-6-7 years as they cross the border selling them to trafficking into slave sexual industry

for 150$ each!

The refugee camp in Bangladesh is now holding 1 million people with more arriving daily.

It is in the jungle and has many tents on the edge of ravines that could collapse when

the rainy season comes.

Lets us decree, declare and command that this situation is given priority and changed NOW.

An example of decreeing found here:

or a simple reminder; We could decree something like this:

I {your name here} declare and decree and command in the presence of the Council of

Love or my Family of Light {name if you wish any or all Guides  Light Beings}

That  {your desire here}

This is the will of Source { your name } and so it is, and so it is, and so it

is.

Finally, we know that success is a given?

Do you know that?

You should know that?

Our unity as Lightworkers has brought us to a place where so so many of us have a similar

view of the new Gaian reality, so many of us focus on a beautiful bright new reality

so that there is no possibility that their NWO sad controlling vision could ever manifest

now.

None!

Cobra taught us that from December 2012 there was only one possible timeline future and

that it would be positive.

The more of us that join forces seeing that new future as brightly and vibrant as you

possibly can the quicker it will manifest.

So, lets spend our time focusing on that and being prepared for the coming change in

every way that we can.

I'm so jet lagged... - Duration: 3:02.

Hey everyone! Dana here and I am so jet lagged.

We just got back to Germany from Florida on Saturday, today is Monday, and while on the

trip I took so many amazing video clips and I vlogged about the beach and my thoughts

about returning to Florida for the first time in a little over three years, and all the

while, all while I was doing that I was totally ambitiously thinking like, oh yes, I will

get back to Germany on Saturday and I will have plenty of time to edit that footage for

the Wednesday video.

Yeah, no.

From Saturday to Sunday we honestly slept about seventeen hours.

We were so tired on Saturday from all of the traveling that I kid you not, we fell asleep

at 6 p.m. and I could not manage to wake up until 1 p.m. the next day.

Like, it's not like I was just laying in bed relaxing. No.

I really could not force my eyes open until 1 p.m. the following day.

That was definitely the longest I've ever slept.

And so I'm just filming this now because there's no way that I can manage to edit that amazing

Florida footage by Wednesday.

I really want to give that video the editing attention that it deserves, and right now

I just still feel totally disoriented, and I'm hungry but I have zero appetite whatsoever.

It's really a confusing feeling.

I feel hungry on the one hand, but even just the thought of food turns my stomach.

And according to what I found online, jet lag symptoms can include disorientation -- check -- loss

of appetite -- check -- disturbed sleeping — either too much or too little sleeping — for me

it's too much, mild depression, mood changes, headaches and nausea, and so yeah, I would

say other than the headaches, which I don't seem to have, I've been experiencing all

of those other things, so I'm just not ready to dive right into the editing yet, but I

did just want to make this little short video to give a post-trip update.

So my question for you is: Have you experienced jet lag, when was it the worst, what do you

do to combat jet lag, and has anyone out there noticed that it's getting worse with age?

Like, I feel like I was much less susceptible to jet lag when I was 22, just throwing that out there.

Please let me know in the comments below.

Thanks so much for watching!

Hopefully I will be back with a "normal" video soon.

Until next time, auf Wiedersehen.

Germans LOVE Talking About THE WEATHER?? - Duration: 6:57.

Let's talk about the weather!

My American viewers, wait, please, don't go! Come back! Come back!

Although, I guess if you've already gone, you won't hear me saying come back.

But anyway, come back!

Hey everyone! I'm Dana and you're watching Wanted Adventure Living Abroad.

For me as an American, talking about the weather is a solid go-to small-talk topic.

But, from my experience, in the U.S. talking about the weather is usually used in situations

where just you need a little something to help break the ice and assist in eventually

hopefully segueing on to more interesting conversation topics.

Topics you actually want to talk about.

Besides when, of course, there's a hurricane or a drought or some other kind of extreme

weather situation, or maybe if the weather is doing something particularly weird or impressive,

usually on a day to day basis, if I bring up the weather, it's not because I actually

am hoping to chat about the weather for any length of time.

It is either a bridge to hopefully lead to other things to talk about, or I have run

out of anything else to talk about and I am feeling that awkward, awkward silence, and

I want to please just make it go away.

So I bring up the weather as a last resort.

From my experience, that is not always the case in Germany.

In fact, many Germans actually seem to really love talking about the weather.

And not the weather as just a transitional conversation topic but the weather as actually

the topic of conversation.

I've seen people at a party here in Germany talk at length about the weather and then

once they have exhausted that conversation topic, they have talked about the weather

as much as they can, when I would finally be oh-so ready to move onto the heart of the

conversation, another topic, that's actually when they have considered the conversation

over and have then headed into the kitchen for something to eat

or another drink or something like that.

They're like: oh okay, that was a lovely chat about the weather.

Catch ya later, Bob.

Which I find super, super fascinating, given that in the U.S. we have hurricanes, blizzards,

droughts, tornadoes, and more, and yet for the most part we basically dismiss conversations

about the weather as rather mundane. They're filler conversation topics.

Whereas in Germany, there's not usually anything too extreme going on weather-wise here.

It's warm in the summer, then there's fall, which feels like fall, then cold in

the winter, then spring, then back to summer.

This happens every year with small variations from year to year, of course, but basically

the same cycle over and over again.

And yet, the topic of the weather seems to be quite a beloved one here in Germany.

Whenever I get back from a vacation and I start to tell my German friends about it, one of

the very first questions that I so often get is "And how was the weather?"

Which, I totally get that the weather could definitely influence a vacation for sure,

but for some reason it's just not a question that I would usually think to ask.

I would probably ask about what they did on vacation and then from their answer, yeah,

I would incidentally probably end up finding out how the weather was, but it just probably

wouldn't be my main point of questioning.

Like, for example, if a friend of mine went to Florida in late March, I might ask them if they

went swimming in the ocean.

And then they would either tell me: "yes the water was lovely" or "no, it was still too cold."

And from that I would invariably know something about the weather in Florida.

But like I said, it probably wouldn't be the main thing that I was interested it.

I find it so, so, so funny, I will call my parents and chat on the phone with them for

like an hour and never, never once even think about asking them about the weather.

It just doesn't cross my mind.

But then I will get off the phone with my parents, and if I then end up chatting with

my German mother-in-law afterwards, and I mention that I just finished chatting with

my parents, nine times out of ten she will ask me: "Oh, and how's the weather there?"

What? Why in the world would I know the weather there?

I said that I talked to them, not that I went there.

She just assumed that if I chatted with my parents, I would of course definitely at some

point in the conversation ask about the weather.

No, really usually not.

I have no idea what the weather is like in Colorado now. No idea.

And also another super interesting thing that I've noticed is that both my mother-in-law

and Mr. German Man regularly check on the weather of where their friends are living

in the world.

It would never cross my mind to wake up and be like: hmmm I wonder how the weather is

where my parents are.

Unless, like I said, there was a hurricane or some other kind of extreme weather situation

going on; no, I don't think to check it.

And then I'll talk to my mother-in-law and she'll actually tell me: ahh I saw that

it was sunny at your parents.

All week long they've got lovely weather there.

And I'm like: oh nice! Thank you! Good to know.

I would have never thought to check.

So my question for you is: Do you love talking about the weather?

To ask them about the weather.

We're just...

It is either to bridge...

And also a really big. Oh, I missed the other part. Alright, forget it.
