God in Brazilian Schools - Easter 2018 - Duration: 4:23.

I am Alexandra, Coordinator of Colegio Resgate. Today we had

a small presentation to represent the true meaning of Easter to our students

so that they can understand that the true meaning of Easter is not

chocolate or eggs. There is a greater meaning relevant from day to day

So, our school symbolically put together this presentation

so that the children could better understand this moment. We thank the children for their presence as well as their parents.

to share in this moment.

Good morning. My name is Marcio. I am the English teacher here at Colegio Resgate. Our purpose today was to show Easter

to the children. I am a musician and play the saxaphone as you saw earlier in the presentation, we spoke a little

of the hand of God so that we can share with humanity a little bit about the Last Supper.

Today was an awesome day we came to watch the kids' Easter celebration at school. I was

so impressed to watch them depicting the Last Supper and celebrating the

resurrection of Christ in school it was touching and beautiful here in Brazil it

seems like religion or God is in the schools in the United States and taken

out of the schools prayer in schools is a hot topic of

debate in the States but it seems to be something that is celebrated and it's a

wonderful thing here. Yeah we're happy our kids are getting to

have that in school.

Happy Easter!!! Feliz Pascoa!!!

Please subscribe to our channel because we love Brazil.

The Nulos Moments #13 - LeA Robinson - Duration: 5:10.

I never even met a person that's like: "Oh I don't, I don't like music".

I would be like: "Yo, something's wrong with you".

Like, I don't judge nobody but I'm like: "Yo, mm-hmm, you can't be trusted if you don't

Like you can't be trusted.

So, at my grandma's house, I used to go there every single day after school.

And this is when I first really started singing and my grandma was still singing around those times too.

So directly across the street from us was the Isley family.

So I think Ernie lived there, Ronald lived there and Ronald's family.

And Ronald would literally walk across the street and I would perform for him and my grandma.

I remember specifically my song was "I can't stand the rain".

The, um, damn it, the Missy Elliott song!

And my grandma dressed me in a trash bag too, like the whole thing was super fly.

Like we recreated the whole video inside of the kitchen and I performed for her and Ronald Isley.

And I just remember being so happy performing in that trash bag.

I was hot but I was like: "I'm killing this shit right now", yup.

So it was just so dope and that's how I first got started with like makeup and hair and

stuff too because my grandma's did not play any games.

Like our kitchen was her version of the stage so like she did everything: she did my hair,

she did my makeup and everything.

And I was just like yo I love this, like this makes me happy.

How music found me?

Oh I just picture myself as a kid.

I grew up around music my whole entire life.

And it was the only thing that like from being young, I just felt like I loved.

Like, I love singing.

It's like I just want to be in music, like every part of it just excites me: the creating

process, singing, being on stage, writing, hearing the music back.

Like everything about music, it's like, it just excites me and I love it.

So music found me very very young.

I think I was maybe six when I first started singing but my family said that I was able to hum before I was able to speak.

So that was pretty fly.

Ha, I enjoy watching people's faces when I perform.

I love, love, love being on stage and seeing people's faces because I feel like I see their spirits.

And I love when the audience doesn't know what to expect when people call my name and

they're like: "Can she really sing?", if they don't know me: "Who is she? Who is that?"

And they're doing some other shit and then I see that my performance is so dope that

they come over and they're like yo she's doing some fly shit, ok!

Who is this?

I like her.

Like, I love that feeling and I love going to help people.

I love that my talent takes me to places that allow me to go help people and speak to people.

Especially kids.

Like, I love going to schools, I love talking to these kids, I love holding babies, I love

doing all that stuff.

Like, it just makes me really really happy.

I went on a high school and middle school tour.

Just talking to kids about bullying and performing for them and just the joy on their faces,

which is so remarkable to me.

And I know that they need me, they need people like me.

They need guidance because their teachers are supposed to say things, their parents

are supposed to say things.

Or their teachers and their parents are supposed to guide them but when they have somebody

that's their age or around their age group that they think is kind of cool - like they

respect it and they truly listen.

So it's just really really dope and it shows me the responsibility that I have and my purpose

in this industry and it's to not be basic.

It's to not be that persona, it's to go out here and save these kids the way that I was saved.

And music saves.

And I'm so happy that I'm doing what I'm doing because it saved my life.

Like it makes me happy when life feels really shitty and really bad, the fact that I can

turn on a song and feel completely different and feel happy and dance and look at life

in a completely different light, that's so powerful.

So to be able to give that to people is, like, the biggest gift in the world to me.

like I love and adore music so much.

My name is LeA Robinson.

I'm a work in progress.

I'm not perfect.

I am a person.

I am not a role model because a role model is acting, to me that's a role and I'm not

doing that.

I'm just living my life the way that I know how to and I'm gonna make mistakes, I'm not

perfect but I'm here and I'm showcasing to you guys who I am.

So I hope that, wherever this goes, you guys enjoy it.
