Huge Melania Announcement

A piece of a historic magnolia tree that was planted by President Andrew Jackson is being

removed due to the portion in question being labelled a safety risk by the White House.

Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for First Lady Melania Trump gave a statement about

the decision to remove part of the tree, stating that the decision was reached after reports

were reviewed by the U.S. National Arboretum about the weakened condition of the tree.

Here�s more from Fox News: She trusted that every effort had been made

to preserve the historic tree,� Grisham said in a statement to Fox News, adding, the

first lady �was concerned about the safety of visitors and members of the press who are

often standing right in front of the tree during Marine One lifts.�

Jackson added the Magnolia to the White House grounds in 1835, according to the White House

Historical Association.

It stands on the west side of the South Portico, opposite a second Magnolia that subsequently

was planted for symmetry.

The first lady requested that the wood from the iconic tree be preserved and seedlings

be readily available if there is an opportunity to plant a new Magnolia in the same place.

The removal is planned for this week while President Donald Trump and his family are

in Mar-A-Lago for Christmas.

The enormous magnolia tree stood watch by the South Portico of the White House for nearly

two centuries.

Its dark green, glossy leaves shaded politicians and heads of state.

Its ivory flowers bloomed through times of peace and war.

It is the oldest tree on the White House grounds, a witness to Easter egg rolls and state ceremonies,

a resignation, a plane crash, all the tumult and triumph of 39 presidencies.

Long after Jackson left office, his magnolia remained.

Other trees were planted to supplement it, and the tree became a fixture in White House

events.

Herbert Hoover reportedly took breakfast and held Cabinet meetings at a table beneath its

sprawling branches.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt spoke with Winston Churchill in its shade.

Richard Nixon strode past it as he left the White House for the last time after his resignation.

In 1994, a Maryland man piloting a stolen plane clipped the tree before suffering a

deadly crash against the White House wall.

And for decades, the magnolia was featured on the back of the $20 bill.

It�s always a bit sad when you see such an amazingly well preserved piece of history

being removed or falling part due to age, as that�s one less link we have to our past,

and in a day and age when liberals are doing all they can to erase the history of our great

nation and its connection with the Founders who risked it all to build this country and

perform a new experiment in government, we need all the history we can get our hands

on.

Let�s hope those responsible for cutting the tree do so with as much care as possible

to preserve pieces of it that can be kept for future generations to enjoy.

Terrifying news is coming out of Virginia after a couple was brutally murdered.

A quiet Virginia town was rocked over the double homicide of a middle aged couple over

Christmas weekend.

Apparently, a teen boy became upset with their pair and then attempted a murder-suicide,

only the suicide part of his mission failed miserably.

Now, he�s hospitalized in critical condition and two families have been torn to shreds

over his actions.

We live in a very safe neighborhood where kids can ride their bikes and not worry about

anything,� Penny Potter told the Washington Post.

�For the first time, I was fearful that there was someone living in our neighborhood

who was capable of incredibly irrational behavior.�

Fox News reports that the dispute started when the boy, who remains unidentified because

of his age, was told by Scott Fricker, 48, and Buckley Kuhn-Fricker, 43, both of the

Town of Reston, to stop dating their daughter.

Apparently the couple wanted to �keep hate out of their home,� so they refused to let

their 16-year-old daughter see him.

According to Potter, the boy apparently mowed a massive swastika into the grass of a community

field two months ago.

He also supported Neo-Nazi pages and accounts on social media.

�They were going to take care of it,� she said.

�They were aware of it.�

But things came to a head on Friday when the Frickers discovered the teen in their daughter�s

bedroom at 5 a.m. in the morning.

It was then that he shot and killed both of them, then turned the weapon on himself and

put a bullet in his head.

Only he didn�t die.

The police reportedly haven�t discovered a motive but family members and friends blamed

it on �the couple�s struggle to keep hate out of their home,� The Post reported, citing

family members.

Family and friends say the couple found a Twitter account they believed to be linked

to the youth.

Friends say the account retweeted posts praising Hitler and making derogatory comments about

Jews.

The teen was charged with two counts of murder and, as of Tuesday, was still hospitalized

in critical condition.

What a sad and tragic situation.

Several members of the militant terror group stormed the �March for Jesus� event on

the Saturday before Christmas, delivering a message of hate and proclaiming that communism

will one day take over America. The agitators had megaphone and shouted at the peaceful

group of people celebrating the life of Jesus, all while a masked kid proclaimed the Cross

is a �white supremacist symbol,� and that the peaceful people basically hated everyone

who isn�t Christian.

�Their obsession with their holiday, their obsession with freedom of speech marks that

they want to hurt people,� he said, the Independent Journal reported.

Meanwhile, a members of the Christian group could be heard saying over a P.S. system that

�This isn�t a funeral, this is a party for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.�

Apparently, his peaceful commentary triggered the Anti-Fa group, so the activist with a

megaphone shouted back at the Christian group that �Communism will win. That�s not a

joke. That will happen. It will win because we must go down to single class society.�

What happened next couldn�t have been any more perfect.

A video posted by Ruptly shows one of the Anti-Fa agitators attempting to flee the peaceful

demonstration. As he and his buddies are trying to block a busy road, the most epic thing

possible happened � he was hit by a friggin truck!

Boom! Apparently God wasn�t too happy with these rejects interrupting a demonstration

celebrating His Son.

In an ironic twist, the very people these nitwits were protesting ran over to assist

the injured Anti-Fa member. As it turns out, he suffered a broken hip from the impact,

and was rushed to the hospital to receive medical treatment.

Suffice it to say, God works in mysterious ways, doesn�t he?

Tragic news coming from Louisiana over the holidays as a newly-engaged, pregnant mom

and her infant son were killed in a car crash caused by a drunk driver on Christmas Eve.

There�s few things more despicable than someone not thinking of others by avoiding

the road when intoxicated, knowing full well they�re putting the lives of others at risk.

Shelly Mulkey, 19, was on her way home from a Christmas party held at one of her relatives�

houses in the city of Loranger, with Ryan McCollum Sr. � her fiance � and their

7-month-old son, Ryan McCollum Jr. when they were rear ended by a drunk driver.

Louisiana State Police determined Jillian Pamela Ramsey, 36, was driving while drunk

and fleeing an earlier car crash when she �swerved and struck McCollum Sr.�s vehicle,

rupturing the gas tank and engulfing the vehicle in flames,� according to The Times-Picayune.

Witnesses reportedly pulled McCollum Sr. and Mulkey from the car, but McCollum Jr. was

trapped inside.

McCollum Jr. and Mulkey were pronounced dead by the Tangipahoa Parish Coroner�s Office

at the scene.

McCollum Sr. said he was treated for burns to his ear and face and injuries to his leg,

while state police said Ramsey only received minor injuries.

McCollum Sr., 24, told The Advocate he had just proposed to Mulkey, whom he had been

dating for four years, as a Christmas Eve gift.

McCollum went on to say, �She was an awesome mama and an awesome friend.

I just want to hold them both in my arms again so bad.�

The father of Shelly, Billy Mulkey, had this to say to the drunk driver who�s pathetically

poor judgment took the lives of his loved ones away:

�That�s three lives she took from me.

That woman is going to have to live with that the rest of her life.�

Ramsey was booked in Tangipahoa Parish Jail, charged with two counts of vehicular homicide,

hit-and-run and careless operation.

This is truly a nightmare scenario, especially for anyone who is married and has children.

Nothing can compare to the pain of losing a child and it�s something all of us hope

we never have to face in this life.

What Ramsey did by getting behind the wheel knowing she was drunk is utterly deplorable

and twisted.

This woman is a menace to society who deserves the stiffest penalty allowed by the law and

probably more so that isn�t.

While it will certainly be rough for her to live with herself for the heinous actions

she carried out that night, she deserves much worse.

If the law doesn�t punish her to the fullest extent, a grave injustice will be done to

the Mulkey and McCollum family.

A woman from Dallas is finding herself stewing in hot water as she�s facing felony charges

for allegedly causing over $300,000 in damages to artwork owned by a Houston attorney who

hosted Donald Trump when he was a presidential candidate.

Ouch.

Talk about regrets.

This woman is probably cursing the day she was born right now.

Lindy Lou Layman � yes, that�s her real name, and you are correct, it does rhyme with

Cindy Lou Whoo � doused the paintings � which were located at the attorney�s River Oaks

mansion � with liquid and tossed sculptures across the room as if they were inflatable

footballs.

Three original paintings were seriously damaged, along with two abstract sculptures.

Fox News is reporting: Layman, whose LinkedIn profile says she is

a freelance court reporter, was booked into the Harris County jail and released after

posting $30,000 bond.

She is set to appear in court Thursday.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Buzbee successfully defended former Texas Gov. Rick

Perry in an abuse-of-power case and in June 2016 hosted Trump at his multi-million-dollar

home.

For those that feel a bit fuzzy on the fight former Texas Gov. Rick Perry engaged in a

few years back, here�s some details via the NY Times:

On the roster in Gov. Rick Perry�s fight against a felony indictment is Ben Ginsberg,

a high-powered Washington lawyer who was counsel to the Bush-Cheney campaign, represented George

W. Bush in the decisive Florida vote recount in 2000 and was co-chairman of President Obama�s

committee on election administration.

Bobby Burchfield, a partner and trial appellate lawyer in the Washington office of McDermott

Will & Emery, has vast experience in complex corporate litigation and twice argued before

the Supreme Court.

David L. Botsford of Austin is a well-known criminal law specialist.

Thomas R. Phillips served as the chief justice on the Texas Supreme Court from 1988 to 2004

and is now a partner in the Baker Botts law firm in Austin.

At the helm of this team is Tony Buzbee, a Houston legal powerhouse who has won hundreds

of millions of dollars in awards for his clients and expresses his driving principle with a

two-word slogan on his firm�s website: �Just win.�

The indictment, returned by a grand jury on Friday in Travis County, Tex., stemmed from

Mr. Perry�s efforts to force the resignation of Rosemary Lehmberg, the county�s district

attorney, after her arrest on a drunken-driving charge.

Mr. Perry threatened to veto funding to her office unless she quit, a threat that he ultimately

carried out by vetoing $7.5 million earmarked for the Public Integrity Unit that was intended

to fight official corruption.

Seems pretty clear this �court reporter,� had a real problem with Buzbee�s personal

political beliefs and was not a fan of his support for Trump and Perry.

In the mind of a leftist, this totally legitimizes acts of violence and vandalism, which is all

part of their ideology of �tolerance� and �inclusivity.�

The sarcasm was applied liberally to the previous paragraph, so hopefully you caught it.

No one has the right to hurt you or damage your things simply because they disagree with

your political views.

This is something most average adults completely understand, but the bawling children we call

modern day liberals struggle to get this through their thick skulls.

An incredible Christmas miracle occurred in Utah that has people in awe over the heroism

of a police officer.

According to Fox News, a group of children were outside playing near a pond in New Harmony

on Christmas Day when a dog belonging to one of the boys ran off onto the ice.

Naturally, the young boy ran after his four-legged friend and what happened next was nearly a

horrific tragedy.

As the unidentified boy gave chase to the dog, the ice gave way and he fell in.

Of course, his friends wanted to help, but they feared they�d fall through the ice

as well, so they instead ran to get help, and the local sheriffs were called.

First on the scene was Washington County Sheriff�s Department Sergeant Aaron Thompson was first

on the scene, but there was just one problem � he didn�t have the proper equipment

for a cold water rescue and time was running out.

However, according to a press release from Fox 13, Thompson threw caution to the wind

and �made the personal decision� to put his life on the line to save the freezing

child, and what happened next is what separates true heroes from ordinary men.

Without any regard for his own safety, Thompson began frantically punching his way through

the iced-over pond using his fists.

However, the further away from shore he was, the thicker the ice became, so he was forced

to take even more extreme actions.

As the ice got thicker, I couldn�t break it with my arms and my fists anymore, so I

had to jump up on top of the ice, putting my weight on it, and then pound on it to get

it to break,� said Thompson.

In freezing cold temperatures and an ice-cold pond, Thompson eventually was able to forge

a path through the ice to reach the boy, who was 25 feet off shore, Lt. David Crouse of

the Washington County Sheriffs said.

�He and another citizen were actually able to break through the ice, go into the water,

and retrieve the boy out of the pond,� Crouse said.

�He was taken to a nearby ambulance.�

The boy was in the frigid water for over a half hour, but thanks to the heroism from

Thompson, he was finally rushed off to the hospital to be treated.

Thankfully, Thompson had previously served on a search and rescue dive team and was able

to locate the child in the area where a woman reported seeing only his hand.

�I couldn�t feel anything.

I didn�t notice anything when I was doing it,� Thompson said.

�I knew that time was of the essence.

I had a very short window to get that child out of the water.�

When emergency crews arrived, the boy, who was suffering from severe hypothermia and

was unconscious but had vital signs, was airlifted to the Dixie Regional Medical Center.

His current condition is unknown, but the sheriffs are all praying for a full recovery.

As for Thompson, he too suffered hypothermia from the incident as well as cuts on his arms

and hands from breaking the ice.

According to reports, the dog was able to make it off of the ice unharmed.

And to think, it�s the brave men and women like Thompson who the idiots on the left constantly

demonize, yet they�ll quite literally risk killing themselves to save complete strangers.

Hats off to Sergeant Thompson and his incredible act of heroism!
