There is a Mic in the Neumann Family which still keep the old sound features more near to the old U87 series
It is a TLM so Transformer less, without Transformer
It has no Tube. The predecessor to which this microphone is make homage, was a Tube one (with transformer)
If you open it, stay grounded. Inside there is not much to the price paid. Almost € 2000 and seems almost empty.
But Neumann's philosophy is: the easier it is, the better it is
The U67 was a tube one this new have anything similar inside but...
Neumann said to recreate the same sound with less noise and better qualities
