USA news on Youtube Jul 30 2017

Hey everybody it is Cinnamon

Cooney, your Art Sherpa.

And today I'm so excited to be

bringing you this amazing

Bubble Witch 3 Saga project.

That's right we're going to get

to paint Stella today together.

I'm going to show you

everything you need to know to

create this project.

Guess what,

today's video was sponsored by

King makers of Bubble Witch 3

Saga.

So I get to do this

and show you everything you

need to know to create this

painting yourself.

Now you can download the game

for free if you check the

description below.

There's a link to that as well

as all the materials and

information you need to succeed

at this painting.

So get your paint get your

brushes get your game.

Come back and meet the easel

right now we're going to paint

together and fun.

So let's look at these really

fun materials that you can use

to make this great painting.

I have here a traceable.

With a graphite rubbing on the

back. This is for if you don't

draw and listen never feel bad

if drawing is not what you're

into right now.

You can always pick up that

skill later it's just an art

skill. And we provide those for

you information on where to get

the traceable is in the

description below.

I have an 11 by 14 canvas board

it's pre-gessoed, and ready to

paint. You don't need to do

another thing to it.

OK. So let's look at.

I've already put out my

titanium white my current

quinacridone magenta and my

cadmium yellow medium and I

have some acrylic glazing

liquid gloss and

using some soft body white

paint and I'm going to be using

my black gesso as a nice little

black paint.

You can use whatever you have.

I have a dobber here.

These are round dobbers and I'm

going to use this to make the

bubbles.

Other colors you'll need are

phthalo blue the dioxazine

purple, burnt sienna and of

course they phthalo green.

Listen any information that you

need about the materials.

Check the description below.

We have more information.

Always post there.

Everything is super easy for

you. Let's get started painting

the set.

I'm going to grab a nice big

brush to do my background here.

This is about an

inch and a quarter inch and a

half wide it's a number 30

bright it has some fake

filaments.

So it's K.B. real friendly to

acrylic paint that got taken

too much water.

I'm going to dip in my jar drag

off the extra And I'm going to

start by taking a little

yellow.

So I got that just on the

corner of my brush over to my

wife. It doesn't take a lot of

yellow to tinge your weight.

I'm going to use my glazing so

my paint doesn't dry out on me

too fast and then I'm going

to do the wandering

rivers are going to come about

on the left hand side

two inches up and I'm going

to make a Strokes going to

wander like a river is going to

go. Wander wander kind of

coming over to the right

towards the mid space the

canvas and then I'm going to

curve it back

and wandered off.

And that's going to be

this flowing background

that I'm going to be following

to put my magical

bubble stream on.

All right.

And we get a little more weight

if you don't have glazing

liquid or some type of way

to slow your paint down that's

OK.

It can help though because

acrylics dry really fast

and this is the fix for that.

But you can also just thin your

pain with water.

So I'm just stroking this

around saying I'm letting it be

streaky I like it to

be streaky.

It's super fun.

So just on the wide

ensue this is sort of like a

duck yellow color right.

My come back I've got a lot of

weight on my brush

and just right in the middle

of making a nice little white

streak that's going to be focal

and that's going to really help

me when I put in my bubble

stream later.

Now the next thing I can do is

I'm a load up on my yellow.

And you can see how I'm doing

that on the edge of the

bristles here.

And then I'm going to get some

quick macaroni magenta

will do those guys.

So don't get stressed out about

it.

And I'm going to come right

here

and start blending this

fabulous fabulous

wonderful magenta orange.

I really really was super

inspired by the colors

in the game.

One of the things I love about

bubble which three saga is

is that it has what I call very

high hat design sensibility

where the colors are very

bright and light and

cheerful.

And so when I'm playing I enjoy

looking at that makes me happy.

Color impacts how we feel.

I think

so that's one of the things

that I really really kind of

was inspired by when I was

doing this design so that

it would feel like

something fresh something

new but also part of her world

because you know she's kind of

utterly fabulous if

you think about it.

And am I overly invested.

Probably but when have I not

worked out completely on

something.

When has that ever happened.

I'm getting just my magenta

here and my connect magenta

into my white and again

my studio so dry.

I really have to use glazing

liquid or my paint

just start to insta dry

on my canvas.

You may have perfect ideal

painting conditions though and

just not need any.

It just really is about how

fast your paint dries.

Splinting nice

having a good time.

Making a beautiful flowing

energetic Bakare sure is a

magical space

telling you that right now

magical flying kitties

haven't seen male nationals

trapped in bubbles.

It completely appeals to me.

I have to tell you what tell

you what.

I will sit there on a stressed

day and rescue animals all day.

I'm going to load up with a

little yellow and some more

white and just make

sure I'm creating some

interesting streaking through

here so it feels

like magical fabulous cool

energy.

Let's do this

little yellow.

I'm not even rinsing my brush.

The only time you need to get

your brush back in the water

for this is if you're having

trouble being overloaded by the

color or

if it's starting to dry out.

Believe it or not paint can

start to dry and your brush and

sometimes that's a good reason

to come back

and get it wet.

One thing that I like to do is

if I'm working a big brush like

this is to come

on the edge of it should

control this and see how I'm

so whooping it around

I'm pressing pretty hard but

not too hard. You'll find when

I'm pressing in the Russian up

pressing like this that would

be too hard. See what that does

doesn't give me a lot of

control. I'm staying right on

the edge of my brush

and that some of how I get my

nice streaky ness

and flow.

Let's get some more white

and then some glazing liquid.

Here.

One of these two soft spots

seem just keeping that river

flow.

That's really nice.

I'm so excited.

Skin more pink.

I feel like it's got to be more

Pinker here. Get roping.

Let's get right into this

magenta.

Get right into that magenta.

It's gorgeous

such a rich color.

So yeah I'm going into my house

that's like my big thing with

a lot of construction where

outside my sidewalk

is kind of crazy.

And my driveway is kind of

crazy. They're fixing roads

that I can fix

up my house and the game

in it's sort of therapeutic

for me at the moment.

I'm like I will upgrade these

cobblestones.

Oh Fountain Yes.

That would be awesome.

Would I like my house to look

like Kitty.

Yes I would like my house to

look like a kitty association

here would definitely not let

me have a kitty house.

Some little things.

Just doing this here.

I want to put that white street

back there. So what I'ma do.

Zoom. Come back and get some

white

and I'm going to just make sure

that I keep

this part of the

energetic streamline.

I want to feel like a very

light river flowing through

and up at the top too.

So see I'm just getting the

white

and then

we are an.

With the background.

This should be very relaxing

for you guys and therapeutic.

I really like this a little

flowing flow

background.

OK.

So now we're going to let this

dry completely and I'll show

you how totally easy it

is. To put in a whole

bunch of colorful bubbles.

OK let me show you how you

can bubble all over your

car is a ton of fun.

This is pouncer sometimes

called the Dobber sometimes

called the pouncer.

I've seen people use bingo

daubers. It really is just a

small round sponge that you can

make a consistent shape how you

use these though the trick is

is that I like to press the.

Live with ovals at the edge

of the paint and twirl.

Can you see how I'm doing that

in a tural.

And I'm not really trying to

cover the whole sponge.

Now with the yellows

you know it can help to put a

little white

in in the Pownce

because yellow can be kind of

transparent.

And what I'm going to do is I'm

going to do a whole bunch of

bubbles up let me show you a

couple and then we'll put them

all in.

So when you're doing a pouncer

what you don't want it to be is

wet because it's going to make

a bunch of bubbles.

You want to press in

and twist

see Cresson

twist and remember

you can layer them too

if you want.

So let's put in all of our

yellow bubbles.

That was pretty bubble refrig.

That's a lot of bubbles to pop

a lot of points that you can

get to build your house

very very ferry.

All building houses.

All right. So the next thing

we're going to want to do is to

read. I don't even rinse out my

sponge from here.

I'm going to go right into the

red with the yellow on my

sponge because I find the combo

of the red in yellow helps

sort of shade

my bubble for me before I even

put the reflection on.

So you see how loaded that

there.

Let's come here.

And again following our river.

Hounsou in.

Our red bubbles.

OK.

So here's a painting trick that

was a new painter might not

know.

Red.

In green.

Kind of a gray color which is

fantastic if you're like

something you know

that you want a brown color but

if you want your green to be

vibrant take a second

and try your painting right now

and rinse out your sponge.

Are you feeling Bubblicious

still

feeling pretty bubble Rafic

myself.

All right so my next step

is going to be the blue.

Now send Stella has

her beautiful blue coat

and a lot of purple in her hat

and Booster's just a lot of

blue on her because she's a

good.

I have to make sure that I

don't get too crazy with the

blue bubble so that's my tip

and where I'm going to have

her. I'm going to be a little

later with some she's going to

be mostly focal here.

So they are my blue bubbles

will be focused here and maybe

here but a little bit lighter

through here.

So I don't lose her in a

loose stream of bubbles.

All right. Let's load up our

bresh for blue bubbles.

So I come in and I twist

not a brush. That's pouncer.

But the other thing that I'm

going to do is to get some

white paint right.

That's going to really help my

blue really show

it's really loaded.

Let's put in some blue.

Still totally bubble Rafic.

I'm ready to go green.

Are you ready to go green Let's

go green now.

In my green.

I'm going to definitely

definitely use some yellow to

help right in this dark green

so that it's bright like the

bubbles in the game.

Once you have a stream of

bubbles that makes you super

happy and when does the stream

of bubbles not make all of us

super happy.

Take a deep breath.

Because I'm going to show you a

really cool trick that's going

to make these bubbles look a

lot more realistic than you

would expect.

You ready.

So once you're ready to put in

your reflections we're going to

turn these from dots to bubbles

and we're gonna do that with

this fun tool here.

This is a number six studio

break.

It's small and

you can see like compared to my

next stop that big I'm going to

take a little bit of white just

on the edges here

or just on the edges and I'm on

a come to a bubble over here.

I'm going to pick this green

bubble.

I'm going to make a curve

stroke for a reflection.

Let me show you a couple more

and then we will

put reflections on all of

our most exposed bubbles.

Here here let's load one more

time

so pick bubbles that you can

see clearly and you're going to

put the reflections on the

right hand side traveling up.

And if bubbles are distant far

away make that make the

reflections super light like

this.

And if the bubbles up close

make the reflections stronger.

Let's have reflections to all

our bubbles. Now.

Well that's pretty fun.

So they went from being little

dots to being bubbles with just

a reflection.

I hit the bubbles that I could

see par that would be

reflected.

I didn't necessarily hit every

single dot I made.

I thought the reflection would

be hidden by the bubble in

front of it.

So it's just something that you

can do it's a lot of fun.

Let me show you how you can

transfer the image onto the

canvas if you're not really

ready to draw it on right now.

Remember drawing is just an art

skill you can learn that at any

point along the journey I don't

want that to be a reason that

you don't paint so feel free

to use or traceable.

It is absolutely not cheating.

It is a skill and art that we

all have to use from time to

time as creative people.

Let me show you how it's done.

So take your transfer paper

that you made. I have rubbed a

pencil on the back everywhere

that I have a line really hard

to leave a lot of graphite.

I'm going to take my paper and

I'm going to place Stela

where I want her.

Now I want her slightly over

from the stream and

I'd like her to be

a couple of inches

from the bottom so that I have

room to make the reflection

that she's going to be standing

on and how I'm going to

get this on first is I have

to fix this onto the canvas so

it doesn't move.

That's the number one thing

that messes with people when

they're doing a transfer is

they're trying to transfer

paper that is not six

down.

I'm using low tack tape.

That's like the kind of tape

that you when you're painting

your house or something that

you would use and it just isn't

going to rip any of my paint up

for my painting.

Now I'm going to take a nice

hard pencil or pen

and I'm going to trace over

every line with

it to transfer the graphite on

to my painting.

When you're done with your

transfer check and make sure

you're happy with all the lines

before you remove the transfer.

If there's a couple to darken

so you can keep seeing it go

ahead and do that step.

Now.

So. For this next part when I'm

painting in the figure one tip

that I want to give you is I

paint with a professional pain

and it has a ton of pigment in

it. Very high coverage.

But sometimes when we start out

painting we're painting with

student paints or beginner

paints because that's the best

fit for a budget.

Just something to know

sometimes those paint have

trouble covering darker colors.

So the trick to fix that is

to paint your figure in white.

Let that dry completely

and then go I hadn't painted in

as I'm doing now.

So if you're using a student

paint. Go ahead and do the part

where you paint in your outline

way let that try and then

meet me at the part where I'm

painting the figure at.

OK.

So I put out a couple new

colors on my palette.

Let's look at those and see

what they are.

I've added the burnt sienna and

I've added the Mars black and

Amber fresh. Any of the colors

that I'm out of I'm going to

take a small break.

And in this case this

is the number six bright

and I'm going to use this to

start paying my figure the

first thing in the paint in is

the hair I'm getting to take a

little of my burnt

sienna and a little of my

black.

It doesn't take very much black

to darken your brown

and if you need to add a little

water to improve

the flow of that.

Go ahead and do that.

And I'm going to paint in the

hair nooning in the hair

section now

just the shape of my hair.

I'm working the edge of my

bristles and I press

kind of hard at the beginning

of my stroke and then I release

at the end.

And that's kind of how I'm

going to get that feeling of

loing when the hair

also the direction of my stroke

is going to matter.

I mean it comes from under the

hat.

In brush the flow

of her hair that I imagine that

she's going to have where I

want a thin line.

I'm going to paint on the edge

of the brush and wear a thin

line. I'm going to paint on the

width of the brush just

keep painting that out.

Lending her longer hair because

as the game went on her hair

darker living longer

hair

definitely blow into this wind

because clearly there is a

breeze going on here given the

bubbles in my

brush

and mom added it I'm going to

also just take the brown

and the black again

and mix them together.

This is a small detail round.

This is like a size zero.

It's really nice.

I really like it and I'm

going to paint in

the wind with the brown and the

black just falling along

the twinkly bits

and I've traced in

green because she's got a lawn.

We'll be doing her power up

there at the tip at the end.

Going to be really cool to want

this to feel like a been bobble

branch.

Make sure her hair is flowing

out nicely from her hat.

The other place I could put a

dark colors I might get a

little black.

Just real fast.

And I'm going to come under her

heel

and might even add just a

smidge of white to the gray

to the black to make like a

grace. It's just a small

amount.

That way when I paint the part

under this part of the heel

it's a slightly different color

that will help them feel like

two different values

you can't really see the shape

of the foot.

And they get a little more way

onto my brush

come along behind this

instead this gray really

helps it become the hill.

And a little booboo there.

So what I'd like to do when I

have a Bubu So

I just sort of like erase it

with my brush

pretty much anything in acrylic

paint Once the paint underneath

is dry.

Sensage take that and

get rid of my boo boo.

It starts on most things

because everything in acrylic

paint is really thinkable

when a little more black on my

brush.

And I'm going to add

to tread

to her Dorval that I really

like her boots.

You painted with me for a while. You ever did my girl

Noreen.

You know I like some boots.

That's pretty good.

The other place I can add a

little bit of black lining.

I'll still have to go back and

do it at the end.

But it will help me

get in this little bit now.

And this is easy for me to do

because I have a small detail

brush. See what a fine line

this brush makes.

That really really helps me.

The other place I can put this

is just

add this to the outside of the

leg.

I may have to do this a couple

of times but it helps me not

lose my legs.

During the paint in process as

well

across the top of the boot

on the outside edge

on the back of the leg.

Now I get a fine line is I'm

not pressing very hard.

Just on the tip of the brush

here. So see I'm not going like

this. I'm going like this

just on the edge of the brush

kind of like eyeliner real

similar process.

Right.

That's pretty good. I'm a

little brush to the side

and I'm going to grab another.

This is a number two right

get some water

and I'm going to take a little

of my Kronecker now.

And mix it into my

purple skin

and make kind of a reddish

purple I really like it.

Add a little weight to it

blazing like what if I need it

because my pain strong

in paint. First the brim

of the hat.

So again if you're having

problems getting your paint to

cover the paint underneath the

colors underneath it's probably

just that it doesn't have

enough pigment.

Now I take that term to paint

things. Wait

and let it dry

so you can get those bright

colors.

So I'm just mixing the dogs in

and the magenta together.

Painting in her hat.

He's painting the hat.

She's a really fun hat.

The suit hat is one of my

favorite things about her.

She's really good at

as a person who appreciates a

really good hat.

I'm going to add a little more

weight into this mix.

And I'm going to paint them

me.

Of her hat.

It's going to be a little bit

later and we'll have to shoot

it out later but it's going to

help you keep track of what's

cone and what's Brem.

And this is going to need a

couple of layers of paint and

the ways to look finished and

resolved.

So no harm

leaving room to come what a

shadow.

And later.

So where I need to get more

control over where my paint

goes you'll notice that I work

the edges of my bristles on my

brights and then when

I need to fill in a big area I

go to the White of the brush.

If I me if I'm having trouble

getting paint flow out a in

water and I swirl around

like that. And that improves

the flow of my pain.

I do too much water comes like

watercolor cover stick.

Those are the things that

you're bouncing out

when you're painting.

Other place that I have purple

is on the some of the grits

with this purple

and I'm going to come down here

to her boot.

This is again a place I'm going

to need a couple layers.

Well paint inside my mind

because again if I have to come

back and put it back in I don't

mind.

That's good finishing work to

be able to do in painting.

Painting in her boot

will come in here.

Her

dip in the water and swirl

around if I need it

in this case I do

worry.

Here we go it's

fun to paint the boop purple

and add a little white

on the top of the boot

will be lighter for.

If you're painting and try to

go ahead and you're painting

with the hairdryer real quick

to dry your hat and your boots

you can finish the.

Bubbles. Tell me it's time to

go ahead and wrap up these

boots and let's do that.

All right. So I've got my purse

over here my quite accurate on

in my weight and I need to make

some highlights and some

shadows.

So first let me take a little

of this blue right here over

to my purple and I'm going to

make a deep cool shadow.

This is going to be a very dark

color and I'm going to

come to the underside of my hat

like this and I'm going to just

come on the edge with my brush

and outline to about here

on the hat to about the halfway

point.

Come along the back again just

on the edge of your brush

following the outline

from the tip.

In following these lines.

Now I have this outline here.

What I'm going to want to do is

brush up

a shadow see how I'm doing now

I'm brushing up this shadow

says that dark part of the hat.

Acrylic paintings look crazy

for a long time

until they stop looking crazy.

So your only job is to

have fun.

Take deep breaths.

Paint along with me

and know that the painting is

going to work out as long as

you fall off.

Now notice I'm leaving the

light purple on the top and I'm

just creating this little

shadow shape here.

Already there has some more

shape I'm going to dip my brush

in water.

Come here and swirl around to

improve flow because it's

drying out. Ami and

I'm going to come underneath

here

in about

halfway up the brim too

I'm going to brush this

darker color on

this is the deep shadow.

Pernik cool.

Now I'm going take my purple

over into my magenta mixture.

And this time I'm going to

really put a lot more

way into it.

Going to be a very light purple

when I come around the edge of

the brim.

I'm also going to this is going

to be about I'm pressing very

lightly and I'm letting

the brush just softly drag

I'm learning some of the

painting show through

underneath. You can see how

it's just like a dusting.

This is called dry brushing.

I'm just letting this

described the hat that

that loves those two layers.

Now I'm going to get even more

white paint brush I

and I come along the top of my

hat

and a brush is a highlight

around the brand and see how

that suddenly takes shape.

You created a light source

which is up here and you're

highlighting the top of the

hat.

And so therefore it starts to

feel kind of interesting and

round.

All the way to the edge.

You can even put some of your

high highlights in the brim if

you want to improve the

ceiling or the hats being wore

out like that.

Now I'm going to let that dry

rest first. And I come think

about my boots and warbled

satchel brush.

Let's get back into that shadow

color which is the blue and

the purple together.

Now this time I want to be a

little more purple

than blue.

I might add a smidge

of white to it and I'm going to

come along the boot on the back

side on this right

hand side and swoop over

with my purple shadow color

looping around the heel

other place that can have a

little bit of this along the

edge there.

It's one that's nice.

A little more here we come

back side here again

swooping forward

maybe a little bit on the Hill

and get into your late color

adding your white to it over

here.

So is your light purple

come to the left hand swung

side and swoop right.

So put this here and swoop this

right

see how suddenly

as you come down here I'm just

doing a little light dashing

strokes to have control if you

have to switch to your small

detail brush you did the lining

with to work small

areas. Never feel bad.

And here's a little trick.

I'm going to come on the Hill

and swoop a little bit further

same color this side

read on the Choe

starts with your back

and little all this color

to the front.

That's pretty cool.

Marie

now here's a trick I'd like to

wipe off my brush but not

rinse it.

Come into the White. What

happens is the pigment on my

brush will get right into that

white paint.

I'm going to make sure on the

heel

sweep a little highlight

coming from the left hand side

across it.

And just a little extra here.

She has to help these boots

help pop

is going to give him a little

pop

now.

Pretty pretty spectacular.

We're going to do our white

lining in our black lining

last.

So you can win all this rest

for a little while. Let's get

some hair thoughts in here when

we come back into my brown

and get my glazing liquid or

water whichever you need to

just to improve the flow of it.

And I'm going to come in to my

hair again.

Just add

some thin flowing strokes

to improve the density

in our hair.

So we want her to feel lush and

deeply colored

in those two coats will help.

I'm going to get a little white

on my brush and mix

that into the brown

woman from here on my

would just make a little

highlight of my Would

feels Woody.

When set off my

last trick is to take a little

my yellow

and my brown

a little white to it

and make kind of like a little

knot

right here

some wood green

just a little bit and see that

I'll make that all pop.

So that's looking pretty good.

Now

skin tone is

going to be kind of challenging

and I want you guys to be just

super relaxed with yourselves.

Also remember I have a video on

skin tone that you can check

out any time if you want a

different kind. So there's a

lot of ways to make this really

easy. I'm going to show you one

fun easy mix that's perfect

for Stella.

So I'm going to come over here

and take a little of my

Kronecker down to the side and

I'm going to add a smidge of

yellow to it.

See this right here.

So it's like a little

bit warm but still quite

pink.

Now I'm going to wipe

off the extra paint on my towel

and come over to my way and

then I brush this brush

into my paint.

You're going to notice that

it's a very soft skin

tone. Pink

going to take this soft skin

tone pink and paint her are

you may need to do a couple

coats if you haven't painted

your figure white

don't feel weird or bad about

that. That's OK.

If you want it to be a little

pinker you just pick up some

of your pink pigment

you've got this

merry go her arms Paignton

or in South brush

and let's put in the basis for

her leggings which are super

cute.

Everybody loves stripey legs.

You guys are always asking me

she had to do which are very

straight legs so this was

completely fortuitous and

perfect for us.

Was it bad.

I really like her leggings.

I'm going to make sure of a

little bit of white pulled

aside and get a little yellow

and I'm going to make a duck

yellow color.

I'm going to go ahead and add a

little water and swirl around

some nice flow

and I'm going to paint in

everything that's leg even I'm

going to come back with some

purple for her shorts.

I'll do that when I'm putting

in the blue stripes.

Now remember if you lose your

blackline don't worry we're

going to come back in line

again.

The very end.

So it's no big deal

you guys are doing OK.

I can't wait to see all

of these gorgeous cute adorable

which is our on social media.

We have to show me what you

guys paying.

The super fine.

Because this is yellow Let's go

ahead and try and give it a

second.

That's something you can always

do is give your pain a second

coat if you're not loving the

coverage.

We'll get some more white

just making sure.

She has the gorgeous

leggings that she does in the

game.

Orderly. Interested to

know if you guys play bubble

which.

If you ever tried that.

Definitely let me know in the

comments below.

Now if you feel like a her.

I do a good job.

Looking pretty darn good.

I feel.

Still got to give her a leg.

You know.

School shorts.

Everywhere.

Short Skirt school shorts so

definitely going to put that in

to work the

check your skin tone if

it needs a second coat.

Go ahead and feel like you can

put that in.

Now we get to paint.

Her spectacular gorgeous

awesome coat.

So going to start that with our

dark shadow color.

I'm going to take my blue.

Over to my purple

get my brush and water just

sort of swirl around

to improve flow.

And they come and

very carefully

outline

what I have in my traceable

I'm going to take my purple

across because her belt is

actually purple and I

give this is the base color for

her belt.

I'll come back with the bright

purple later.

Once I have her in I'm

going to start putting my

values in and I'm going to

start with my shadow which is

down here.

So I'm going to get my blue but

I haven't rinsed out my brush

and I only get a smidge of

white but not enough

to make this light blue because

light was going to be the

highlight and them

and they come to the bottom of

this fabric

first paint in

this dark blue and using

this number to break.

You could use a small detail

around whatever brush you have

a lot of control with.

See you feel like you're OK.

You keep painting that color.

Well up here at the hip

wash some of that over

there's a lot of layers to your

coat to give it this rich blue

feeling.

But that's nice because that's

a lot of paying time for you to

be relaxing and chilling

and enjoying yourself.

When I come here and I'm going

to make sure that I

within the shadow of the fold

put in the shadow of this fold

this is going to be a dark

blue.

And it's going to show that her

coat has blown over

and these are the folds of her

fabrics folds of fabrics are

done with highlights and

shadows

and so they're pretty easy to

get in.

And I'm going to put a nice

deep shadow

here I'm going to brush up

along on this fabric here.

Making sure I have a shadow

is dark.

Long hair.

Well of course under her hair

backed

swirling around with my water

just to improve the flow.

Filling this in up into

the shoulder

some of the sleeve here.

We may be a little bit rounded

in the arm. See that there

that's Chatham's pulling in

from the left to the right to

do something kind of

interesting herem the

closes part of her sleeve

that's billowing away.

And then right here

where this FULDE is and it's

like her jacket at this stage

should be taking some shape

prior

where you're starting to see

how the folds are working.

And in some shuddery here

coming along the top of this

rise

pretty easy stuff.

Now that I have that I'm going

to get my pain out

swirled around.

I'm going to have some white

too. This is fantastic.

Is she coming alive for you.

Are you feeling like she's

right here with you.

Going to pull this highlight

along the edge of that fold

edge of this fabric here

and pull this down.

Very softly softly

pulling it down.

Tools pulled down.

Little ball hit here what's

going back.

Things like this down.

Get some more of this color

from just the outside edge of

that full

along the top here.

We're going to curve these

brush strokes around and down

tell the story

just plonked down

totally have this.

You are going to love this when

this is on your wall.

People are going to like what

you painted that way.

I love that game

so game

you start a conversation.

Talked about in game home

improvement

very important stuff.

Do you want to have at home.

I know.

It's an option. You can have a

really cool adorable houses

trees with faces.

It's

we're just painting the

Highline on the shoulder here.

And then I'm a driver of this

lightly into the back.

You can see how that starts to

create the shape of the figure.

And it just takes a few layers

to build something like this

but it's doable even if you're

new to a painting.

Right on the top of the coat.

Bringing this down.

OK. I'm just adding wanked

term mixture.

Again the skirt

making sure I'm keeping my

shadow still

have a couple of layers to go.

So don't worry.

It's feeling like it's not a

perfectly smooth paint coverage

at this stage.

It's not supposed to be Kralik

paint layers up

here we go layering it up

right along the top there.

So you can see now how you've

got a highlight highlight

highlight shadow shadow where

the shadows and highlights have

started to give her coat

this fabulous folded shape

you've supergoddess.

It's come into this sleeve

now at this point

are yellow. And

if you touch it should be dry

and you can then come

across the legs

and just make a really fun

straight.

Remember you can open your game

and look at the character if

you want things to be exact

exact exact

you know if you're like oh my

gosh stript place super

important worry about that

you can get that exact

reference material

or it might come above the

knee.

One more stripe in

above this I'm going to have

to have her have her little

shorts on.

Now I'm going to make sure my

stripes look good though.

Your stripes look good

OK.

Looking good looking good

when it gets on my purple

shorts.

Subtle clutch guys but it

matters.

Now you're like oh she's a

classic

saving the world rescuing the

animals putting bubbles

in

wearing too short of skirt.

Yala

I'm just making sure my stripes

are how I like it.

A little blue and white

together and I'm just making

sure they look good.

Now I have this make sure I'm

going to get a lot more weight

on my brush. I've got blue on

it a lot more

weight than I'm

going to come to my sleeve and

I'll pull this over.

From the outside. Maybe a

little bit gray here.

Pop up this fall

should be quite late.

Light light Skyblue

just try brushing that down.

Now I'm in a slicked back and

forth on the way C pointed

down I'm playing this fabric

folds

across the top here.

Using the edge of my brush

it's really fine to paint

fabric.

She's really gorgeous.

My gray hair.

It really awesome.

Love this

noone come with the edge of

your brush

right.

Different

merry go

wait.

The front of that fabric and

see how that helps at Pop

and Minkow along the front of

this fabric alge

dry brush that in

starburst that

car hey look at her just

to bear any area

like manner.

Live coverage there.

Just take your dark dark blue

you like know your shadow.

Let me show you why and come in

and you can work that again.

See

super easy to get your purple

and your blue again.

Put chateaus backs it just

don't feel like you can't go

back.

Make sure

that your shadows are where you

want them to be saying

no and here

and knows you're not

going to be sorry because you

put an extra layer on

neck to be sorry

you're so proud that's what

you're going to be like

practically magic

pull that nice shadow up up her

skirt.

How that proves the full

woman and highlight.

So I have my brush with pigment

skin to get a lot of white on

there with this right at the

shoulder

down the arm.

Full that on very

just at this top one here.

All right.

So now we get to

do her hair which I think

is a lot of fun.

She's got a lot of shape she's

kind of floating in space.

We're going to resolve that.

We're going to give her some

Mining's.

She looks super sharp when

she's out there popping bowls

and saving the world and

going to make you feel really

great about what you painted

today.

Feel the magic.

Do you feel the magic of the

bubble.

I feel the magic

of the bubble.

OK.

So.

So what I have here is

my nice had red

mean it's a bright red

and gorgeous and

it's a very powerful color you

could use any reds you have

though. Right.

We're just going to come in and

we're going to give her some

red highlights on her hair.

She's magic.

So here we go pulling

some of those out.

So Brown in her hair.

This makes it kind of a

gorgeous oper

that's going to be like

Herr's Jolie about the shadows

and the highlights. You're not

really painting individual

parts as much as

shape and value.

Super fun stuff.

No but I like to do

is add a little

yellow to the max see you

get this bright color.

Then come in put in

just a little highlight.

The sun is catching her tresses

so you can really feel the

energy.

You can add a little white to

say here at the edge where I'm

just like glimpsing that

sun where

I can feel her.

She's pretty spectacular.

Renting this out.

Getting my detail brush

I've got my black paint out.

I'm going to put out soft body

white paint book crap paint

is soft body.

Right. Heavy bodies just about

how much structure the brain

has when you put the

brushstroke and whether it's

self-leveling.

So I don't need a lot of it I

just need a little bit because

I'm going to come in and do a

little white lining and a

little black lining to define

some of my stuff.

I think that Kiner will resolve

a piece like this.

And so first I'm going to get

my white paint on my little

detail brush here

and would come along the top of

my hat and create some

character

Mary

truly magical Hach always have

tons of character.

This little Haile is really

going to help her hat pop

can make a lot of difference

when you're opposed to people

like it's new.

Are your really good.

So are coming in here.

We're just going to where it's

in the shadow We're going to

make the line very thin.

See how I did that

I might come here in

some of these energetic lines

around her hat.

That's going to help shape that

then oh

a little bit right here.

All cross your belt will have

to come back and a higher

purpose if this isn't purple

enough but ours just happened

to me really purple so that

worked out.

Little on the outside arm.

Sometimes you do have just

little happy moments that work

out you're like wow that was

perfect.

A little bit there.

See we're just making that

extra layer of

definition and value.

And since we're painting you

know we're being magic right

now ourselves we're painting

something that's three

dimensional on a two

dimensional surface

that's a little magic.

Just doing the top edges here.

Maybe a little bit down a side.

Yeah. Just a little bit there.

Come the front of her leg.

That's where her highlight

would be

and I'm going to catch her

boots too on the front hand

side.

Coming up boot a little

character a little definition.

Round the front.

That's the hole in the back of

the heel and maybe a little

blurry here. So I can really

see it.

So the other place that we can

put some really nice soft body

way is up here at the magic

spot where the magic is coming

out of the wand.

And what I recommend is making

a straight line going up.

You should call your brush away

from the canvas to get the line

to taper

a coming out

now the line coming in

and some coming down in we're

going to fill in this sort of

star

with these little radiating out

strokes.

Make some of them longer.

Some of them shorter because

this is the power emanating she

is about to like zap some

stuff that's happening

and then man it is on.

Now I'm going to rotate my

hands down.

Because that's where I'm going

to have more control and

strength in my hand.

And then I'll rotate it back up

I'm trying to get the other

side. Now I'm going to get some

blue jeans right

on my Bresch

lots of blue

and add some blue energetic

power

to her magic wand

stroking out.

Sometimes I like to even go

back a rinse out.

So I have that blue in

and then go back with another

little bit

the white just to create some

little value.

Me an all star out.

So she's powered up

if you lost any of your black

lines.

Go I had in very carefully

with those Back

then all we had to do is put

the ground she's standing on

and she is ready

to go out and save everyone.

But when is she not.

This one I'm not playing.

But then you have her so you're

saving everything

all right.

OK. And then here is the boot.

Just all nice and outlined

a little bit on the back for

the book.

She's fantastic.

All right. Let's

get some ground and our girls

feet.

Ray you ready.

I'm so ready to some ground to

stand on.

We all need a little ground to

stand on.

I'm going to get my break back

out to the Mobil's

back into my number six here.

You get all wet in the water.

First time to get a little

black and a little blue

lazy me if I need it.

And I made a little line

with my pencil that was level

underneath there because

I'm going to apply that.

She's standing on something wet

and something to make this very

soft fine wine

just what the edge of my brush.

If you mean it sick it wouldn't

look like how you want it to

just push very lightly.

I'm going to just gently

brush out reflections

on this ground that she's

standing on in this magical

universe.

I'm going to keep my brush

strokes actually pretty level

and that's going to help give

me the effect.

One thing that I sometimes do

is flip my canvas over

because I don't have an easy

time working to the

edge of my easel

keeping my space level

so I'm just trying to go around

and make a

little reflective story back

and forth. And this is about

not letting my brush strokes

getting crazy or horizontal.

I want to go back and forth

and make some money even

these are reflections that can

go in front of the walls

trying to make a nice pattern.

Now I'm going to set

my brush

and I'm going to get a little

white in

a little blue

and see how this is like a bead

on my brush.

You're going to come here in

the center.

And some reflections.

Really works if you're Trendall

What's the street to.

Just.

Having a few of these on here.

Say.

SURFACE.

Like.

Can bring snow.

Wow.

Or you guys could have hoped

that you did this. I know this

is like a really fun time to be

doing it. I had a great time.

Let's give her signature so we

can say we're done.

We're super happy.

I'm going to put my signature

and you put yours.

Cannot wait to see

your.

Versions of this painting.

Please do share them with me.

I think it's so exciting.

Be good to yourselves be good

to each other. And I want to

see you at the easel really

soon.

Look on those bubbles.
