welcome to another Shout Out Monday Evening and today's acronym is SOMEONE
Shout Out Monday Evening Opportunity Never Ends and this one is going to
complement the video that I did on the power supply the other day now because
what do you need for that power supply you need accessories to hook up to that
power supply and this channel is developing his own so let's see who I'm
talking about here i'm Tom Kvichak and this is Toms Trains and Things this
channel was created to help other modelers who are in need of guidance in
pursuing their dream of building a model railroad and we talked about a power
supply the other day and the gentleman that i'm going to talk about today is
developing his own accessories he's using Arduino he's using JMRI he has
even had his own boards made in China if you've been following YouTube Model
Builders you know they've been doing a series on Arduino now Arduino is a small
microprocessor i mean it comes like this and they even have the mini Arduinos
and there's a lot of different micro processors out there that you can do a
lot with them on your model railroad if you know how and this gentleman that i'm
going to talk to you about today knows how to do it now he has a about forty
some videos on there and they're all real short he just whenever he finds
something new that he has he puts out like maybe a two to three minute video
just showing you what it is but he's making excellent progress in using
Arduino and other items to control his model railroad if you like what you see
here and what to take the extra step to support us become a Patron visit our
Patreon page and pledge your support you will receive extra content and other
perks thank you for your support now let's go over to the
computer and see who we're talking about well don't we all wish that we were
experts with Arduino I'm going to have to watch YouTube Model Builders a little
bit more to find out more about Arduino I've been working with Arduino for maybe
two to three years since I first discovered it I think I read an article
back on Model Railroader Magazine or Railroad Model Craftsman magazine about
somebody using it for lighting and that's what got me interested in it but
the person I'm talking about today uses Arduino extensively and you could tell
by his logo he uses the Arduino logo on there and his channel banner is a
circuit board for Arduino so anyway let's go over here now as you could see
he's got a lot of very short videos and when he finds something he just posts
the video on his findings he doesn't really go into a lot of detail about
what he does he just you know when he has some results
he'll just post it on there and it goes from maybe well let me see he's got a 48
second one up to 2 minutes and 55 seconds so that 2 minutes and 55 seconds
looks like about the longest one he has on there that I could see right now but
anyway he does he's doing a lot of projects on there and you could learn a
lot by watching what he does I mean you he's not showing you the
details of how he's going about doing it he's showing you the end results but
still you could see what you can do with Arduino and jmr I trying to link the two
of them together because I know a lot of people would like to do that Arduino is
a powerful microprocessor it has a lot of inputs it has a lot of outputs
that you could use on there and Bob McAllen is using it to his fullest
capability on here and I'm just going to pull up his last one here remote node
custom shield all right now this is something that he this is a circuit
board that he had made so he had quite a few of them made but anyway he had these
made in China for a project that he's working on and let me fast-forward over
here a little bit and we still see the same thing okay where we had here okay
now here's what he was working on and there's a couple of other videos before
this one where you could see the project that he was working on and you could see
up on here here's a circuit board that is made specifically to sit on top of
the Arduino board for projects this is something that he was playing around
with and he had this circuit board made so he could have it put up on top of the
Arduino board instead of having this board right here this is a a project
board that you could stack up on top of an Arduino board go ahead check him out
subscribe to him check out all the videos he has I think he has about 42
videos you can learn from what he is doing on there even if you don't
understand what he's doing it'll get you thinking about what can you do with all
the little electronic components that are available today that don't cost that
much like the Arduino and the mini Arduino and a Raspberry Pi and
everything else that's out there so anyway check him out and subscribe to
him so let's go back to the the train room where I could finish this thing up
alright so Bob McCown has some pretty interesting stuff on his channel
so go ahead and check him out and while you're at it subscribe to him
and hit his little bell icon up there so you could be notified whenever he puts a
new video out there he's got a lot of projects going on and he's developing
some good stuff for his railroad I got to watch a little bit more of the
YouTube Model Builder series to get a little bit more familiar with it I got a
little bit away from working with the Arduino but anyway if you would like to
see more videos like this go ahead and hit that subscribe button and while
you're at it Ding that Bell and that will notify you whenever I have a new video
coming out and also leave a comment down below let me know what you think about
it let me know what you think about everything else I have a Q&A coming out
later on this week it's five things that Debbie asked me I talked about it
earlier and I showed you on a notepad it's on here someplace
on one of these pages I even made a new page for her so anyway we'll see you and
don't forget if I don't ask if I don't answer your questions right away on
Wednesday that's because my daughter's here with the granddaughters and we're
out doing something we're either at the pool
we're at the beach or we're having a good dinner someplace and it'll probably
be a couple of days before I get to answer it when I have some spare time so
anyway
welcome to another shout out Monday and this act and welcome to another shout
out act

Now as a small channel, who cusses a lot and who don't have the knife hookups- it's hard
to get to the good shit before all the tactical knife channels, the bushcraft channels, the
table tops channels, the chicks reviewing knives channels, the self defense knife channels,
the guys who makes knife channels, the dude standing on his back porch talking into the
camera for 20 minute knife channels, And I have to buy my own stuff mostly.
The bad joke cussing knife channels are bottom of the list.
So I'm pretty sure Benchmade was thinking of me when they released the 535 Bugout.
No previews months in advance at a knife show, no sponsored swag videos just your usual unboxing,
retailers promo videos, first looks eating up the clicks.
I can fuck with that.
Sorry I got requests for cussing.
The Benchmade 535 bugout isnt a revolutionary knife.
But it is light AF, isnt too expensive, and has a decent sized blade.
So lets look at the dimensions because that will help figure it out, like the overall
length, and weight.
Yep translation it doesnt have a liner.
The blade size and cutting edge.
The handle size and grip area.
The spine thickness and handle thickness.
And the tallness closed.
Lets start with the blade.
Benchmade was smart by making the drop point flat ground satin finished blade out of S30V.
Mostly because they knew that the internet thinks the 154cm found in the standard Amazon
sold griptilian is cheap garbage- I think they hated how quick and easy it sharpened
up.
And like paying more for S30V.
Dont worry S30V your day of reckoning is coming.
I have no problems with their S30V- it seems a bit harder to sharpen than the 154CM, but
thats fine I guess.
Youll notice mine is a 609/1000 limited first run edition, so I guess Ill take my prize
now?
What do I win?
Oh another knife I'll occasionally use!
The blade is deployed by beautiful electric blue thumb studs, unless you hate the color
blue.
It is a quick snap in place, and has prosper bronze washers on either side of the pivot.
As far as blade centering its that perfect-ly off center that Benchmade is known for.
I jest slightly not because its not accurate- because its not something I pay much attention
to, unless its rubbing.
And it aint here- just letting you perfectionists know that theyre the same old bench made youve
grown to love complaining about.
The axis lock is sort of stiffer, than my others While it deploys fast, the blade doesnt
fall nicely like my 940s or my Griptilian, and its a bit hard to flick closed one handed.
Youre like oh like a Ganzo!
I mean you can but you have to do a wrist flick.
The handle is a decent sized It fits my hand well and the Grivory which to me feels like
a slightly more sandy version of FRN.. gives some texture I would probably prefer some
G10 - but thats just me.
The back is opened back with some blue standoffs or spacers.
There is a small partial liner that serves mainly as an anchor point for the blade pivot
and lock if you have owned a 940-1, its pretty similar to that.
It doesnt feel super hollow and plasticy- sorry for the technical terms.. because the
underside has these reinforced grids, to help add some sturdiness.
Blade retention when closed is nice, and I cant fling mine open when closed even if I
fling hard.
The clip.
The clip, swappable to the right or left side, tip up only.
It's deep carry, and medium tight.
Its not super tight, but it aint quite as springy as my spyderco endura or delica.
People look for different things out of a clip.
I like deep carry, but i like a medium springiness something that wont rip fabrics.
This one is just a trad tighter than Id like but should loosen up with some use.
Ok lets do some comparisons- to help give context to the knife.
The 535 has been carefully considered it seems like Benchmade had a specific vision going
into it, alright boys let's keep it above $100 but giving the knife a useable handle
and blade size while keeping it ultralight It has one of the best size to weight ratios
of any of my knives and doesnt feel like its too small.
That said lets look at my Going Gear 940-1701 which is a variant of the 940.
The 535 is a bit lighter- like half an ounce- but I feel like unless your a gram counter-
or just have less money to spend- the 535 will not make you give up that knife.
2.4 ounces is still very very light, and the 940-1701 has a longer cutting edge and slightly
longer handle and deploys and closes much more smoothly.
The 535 is still noticeably lighter in the hand.
Lets take the griptilian sorry I dont own the mini grip.
Benchmade could always send me t free one though.
This now feels like a much more substantial knife it has a slower deployment and uses
a technology that's harder to patent.
But that's what the hole is for.
ploys and closes faster, has a thicker handle, and longer blade.
That said, I have never thought the griptilian with its jimping was the most comfortable
knife to hold in hard use.
I reviewed it, and you can watch that video.
The 551 has more areas that could be considered hotspots.
But it is cheaper.
And there's more to the knife.
Gotta keep those MSRPs up.
Ok how about the Spyderco Delica.
Since that knife is about $65, now it seems like an apt comparison.
The 535 is I think a step up from that knife.
Its lighter and has a longer blade.
Now the handles are a very similar size, and the Delca 4 handle curves a bit more.
Some handles curve and some don't.
The Delica is a lock back, so translated The 765 is a very similarly dimensions knife to
the 535 but its heavier , has nice sharp points near the pivot, has a slightly smaller cutting
edge, and is like $300.
The 765 deploys much much smoother and faster than the 535.
So I guess the money you spend on that one is for the heavy titanium and Bohler.
You're like it's titanium- so it's light.
Well, I get that's it's lighter than steel but for nearly every titanium knife I have
I have something lighter, in a similar size.
I feel like titanium isn't used as thoughtfully as much as it is- titanium brah!
In real world use the Bugout feels like a much more practical knife.
So beat on it and wrap it up.
Let's start off at first base with some regular old spine whacks, buy it dinner, and then
get to the heavy stuff.
You know what I'm talking about imagine a creepy wink and then we can baton with it.
Not that you should baton with it- but some people have expressed concerns on my instagram
that it ain't durable.
Let's call batoning probably the most abuse a knife should hypothetically endure- but
really shouldn't.
It's a folding knife i know- I'm just saying that because of all the guys who commented
over on serious knife channel Nick Shabazzs about how you shouldn't baton with a folder
anyway.
Yep I get it you shouldn't.
But this is youtube and not real life.
So I'm pretty impressed after the beating, and all the wood flying the knife had no additional
blade play, loose screws- unlike myself and the edge was still hair shaving sharp and
the lock didn't fail once.
I suspect that Benchmade at some point made their axis locks stronger because my Griptilian
lock would fail during this and all of my more recent ones hold up a bit better.
The Bugout is meant to be an ultimate weight to size ratio knife.
Is that a thing?
One of the lightest weight knives you can buy without sacrificing length.
I reviewed the kershaw fraction earlier this summer and only thats my only other sub 2
oz knife although the bugout is a larger proportioned knife.
Bench made is marketing this knife as a blade for gram counting backpackers, and I think
thats a good market.
They seemed to have really thought out a theme for this blade.
Extremely light but without sacrificing those things that make a large blade more useful.
I can appreciate that.
That said about the only thing this knife does better than my 940-1 is that it weighs
less and is cheaper.
I dont really know what I get out of a 1.85 ounce knife that I dont get out of a 2.5 ounce
knife with a bigger blade.
Maybe better balance, since the handle weighs next to nothing?
Now the handle is hollow, so some might expect it to be fragile- I dont think its any more
fragile that the 940.
I have yet to split G10 or FRN or Grivory handles, from beating on them- but I havent
tried stabbing a car hood yet.

Im reviewing.
Thanks to the guy on Benchmades forums for risking his life try giving everyone a heads
up was already on eBay the day it was released.
Thanks for watching.

Weston McKennie: Shootingstar from Schalke 04 in interview with Buzz04 (Part 2) - Duration: 7:23.
Buzz04: You've been on Schalke for a year now, how soon you knew last year: I want
to go to Schalke 04? Was it a quick decision, an easy one or did you have
to think about it a lot? McKennie: Yes, I had to think about it, because I had a
an offer for a professional contract from my team in the US. I played there in an academy like the Knappenschmiede
so it wasn't an easy decision. But I was here in
germany from age 6 to 9 and I have learned to play football here
so I wanted to come back. In that moment I decided to come back. Buzz04: Ok, did you talk to Jürgen
Klinsmann and asked him about Schalke?
McKennie: No I didn't, maybe my consultant, but I didn't talk to him.
Buzz04: Your german is really good. How helpful was it, that you
lived in germany as a child?
German is heard to learn. McKennie: Yes it is, but when you're young,
it is much easier to learn. When I went back to the US I couldn't talk to anybody, because I lost everything.
And then I came back and it was quick and easy.
Buzz04: You came to germany because your father was stationed here with the army. Did you learn discipline,
self-confidence and hard work from your father or where does it come from? McKennie: Yes, I learned it from him,
but from my mother too. She didn't work for the army,
but at the base. They wanted the best for me like
"Yes Sir, no Sir, yes Ma'am, no Ma'am"
Buzz04: Very disciplined...
McKennie: Yes, very disciplined.
That helps playing football, because I
have to learn responsibility and I have to do what the coach says. It's that easy.
Buzz04: You're only 18 years old, still very young, but you've to us, your
parents live in the US. How difficult is it for you?
McKennie: Yes, it's difficult most of the time, it's hard for me, because
I can not see my family for six month, but
I was everywhere when I was young. When I was ten or nine,
I came to germany for the summer to train with my former coach
and I was without my family the whole summer.
That's not easy, but now with FaceTime and such things, it's much better.
Buzz04: The technology of today...
Buzz04: So let's talk about the sport, about the youth team and
Norbert Elgert. You came to germany and I
think you were captain of the team after four games! Were
you surprised, that Norbert Elgert gave you the captain's armband?
McKennie: Because I was new and because I was american yes I was, but he said to me
before, just for fun when I was at the Knappenschmiede and he was there and said:
"I heard you are a leader!"And I said:"Yes, would be a pleasure!" And then he did it.
But I wasn't captain the whole season. We had five captains and most of the time ist was
Jannis Küber, good player and
a good friend of mine. He was captain most of the time and when he was injured or
Norbert Elgert wanted a change, I was the captain.
Buzz04: How much contact do you have with
Norbert Elgert?
McKennie:A lot, because I had some coaches, that I have to thank but Norbert
Elgert, he was the best coach for me.
Buzz04: Your promoter a little bit...
McKennie: He didn't teach just football.
He teaches you, how to deal with
the life after the football, how to deal with the life now... Buzz04: The personality?
McKennie: Yes, the personality!
And that was important for me! Buzz04: Ok, you came from the youth team, together with Haji Wright and Luke Hemmerich. Who is the
next, that can take the step to the professional team?
McKennie: I don't know, we have to watch the season of the youth team...
...who works hard there...
...I think, many of them can do it.
Buzz04: Is there someone you would highlight?
McKennie: Yes, Jannis Kübler,
he's good and there are more, you can take Nassim Boujellab,
you can take Florian Kügler, the forward, because when you do it right and work hard,
there are three or four who can reach the goal.
Buzz04: Last season you gave your debut when Markus Weinzierl was the coach.
He said:"Of Hemmerich, Wright and McKennie, it is
McKennie, who is the best!"
What does that mean to you, that Markus
Weinzierl said that to you?
McKennie: Yes, that is...I'm thankful for it.
But I didn't want to imagine, that I'm the best, because Luke Hemmerich made a good
job in the pre season too.
We wanted to stay together and not be like: "I'm better than you!" or "You have to that, because I play" or so.
We came together from the U19 and we wanted
to improve.
Buzz04: Step by step...
McKennie: Yes, step by step. And when I see, that Luke
has a problem or something, I will help him. When he sees, that I have a problem, he helps me. The same with Haji. We're helping each other.
Buzz04: All together.
Ok, you spoke about the small steps, the little goals.
After the trip to Chine you said: "My next goal is to be part of the team in Austria!"
That worked out so what's the next goal?
McKennie: My next goal is to have more performances in the Bundesliga.
I want to improve and I want to
make it hard for my competitors.
I want to make the coach think. He should not have an easy decision while making the line up.
Buzz04: You want to be a serious candidate for the line up!
McKennie: Yes!
So I think, my next goal is to play!
Buzz04: In the Bundesliga or the DFB cup!
McKennie: Or in the DFB cup. Wherever I can play.

Hello, and welcome to another episode of 8-Bit Keys.
Today I have a very special guest in my studio, this is Anders Jensen.
Most of you have heard his music before because I use it quite a bit in the background of
both of my channels and I've even shown in the past this vinyl record he sent me and
I've been selling his cassette album on my website for quite a while.
I actually do the United States distribution for him because he's from Norway and so
it's pretty expensive to ship these things overseas so I just handle the distribution
for the United States.
A lot of people have been asking when they're going to get more Retro Grooves tapes in because
they've been out of stock for a while and I don't know when you're going to get
me more of those but I did just get his new album and I'm going to be selling those
here very shortly, so if you want to pick one of those up.
OK, since I'm here on vacation I figured I could sign the first five copies for David.
So, the first five of you who orders gets one of these.
And, this is Christina, who actually does the vocals on our songs and with this cassette
you also get a Digital download.
It comes with a card inside with a code.
So, it will come with the cassette comes.
In the meantime, back to regular business.
I want to show you this donation I received from Alex King.
This is a vintage Casio MT-68.
This is from 1983.
The MT-68 is a fairly basic looking keyboard with 12 built in rhythms, and 20 built-in
instruments.
And these instruments are very simple tones, however it does have several effects to help
you change the sound of those 20 instruments, giving a lot more variation.
On the rear it has a tuning knob, headphone jack, line-level output jack, and a power
port.
Also the headphone jack is not the usual kind, but rather the quarter-inch kind that you
would usually see on a professional product.
Just a quick overview of some of the important facts.
It was released in 1983, has 49 mini-keys, and 8-voice polyphony.
In fact, keeping in mind that it was made in 1983, I would place this keyboard right
about here on my toy meter.
Yeah, pretty much right smack in the middle.
I thought it would be interesting to hand this to Anders and see what a real musician
can come up with using something like this.
So, I'm going to let him play around with that for a bit and see what he can come up
with.
You see, those keys are a little bit small for me.
That's quite a difference from doing what I'm used to playing on.
That's a horn.
And we have the accordion.
People might know this.
Remember that, from King's Quest 5?
Yeah, so I love it when these old keyboards have a sustain mode because that's something
you don't get on a lot of the toy keyboards.
And it makes such a dramatic difference.
So yeah, so this is what the electric piano sounds like without the sustain.
And then you put it on and.
It gets quite muddy.
It's almost like an entirely different sound, just having the sustain.
And it's something that I think really ads a lot of depth to a keyboard when you have
that feature.
Obviously, a professional keyboard would have a pedal that you would use, but having a switch
on there is the next best thing to not having any sustain option at all.
Well, you think you can make some music on this?
I gotta say, challenge accepted?
Can't do anything else with it.
All right, well, I'm going to leave you to it for a while and see what you can come
up with.
All right, thank you!
So, I let Anders go to work on this for a few hours.
It was really interesting to see how he works.
In many ways it was similar to my methods, but in other ways it was very different.
I'll show you shortly what he came up with.
In the meantime, I wanted to show you the inside of this thing because I feel any proper
review should have that.
So here's the first thing you'll see inside, there appears to be at least 4 distinct circuit
boards in here and everything has the look of 1983 except for this one surface mount
chip and I think this may be the synthesizer chip, either that or the CPU.
The other side of this board has a lot of early 80s goodies here too, lots of analog
parts and I'll admit I don't know what most of this does.
This large DIP chip is probably the CPU.
I also find it interesting how many little trim pots this thing has on it.
I am really curious as to what types of adjustments these would make if I started changing them.
I also find the speaker design interesting.
You can see it lives inside of its own little plastic housing once the panels are re-assembled.
So that probably improves the sound some.
OK, so I found the guitar sound sounds pretty good.
So this is the part I came up with.
And then this one kind of repeats over and over again.
And then we needed some bass.
And the funny thing is, I said this keyboard doesn't really have any real bass sound.
Actually nothing.
But, the closest thing I found was the piano part.
Which then sounds like this.
But theres no real bass in it, right?
So what I did, I actually found a doubler, a pitch shifter I can shift it one octave
down.
So that makes it a little bit better.
So that sounds a little bit like this.
And we needed of course we needed some chords, which I found, theres no strings on this one.
There's a violin, but its too tinny.
It sounds like this and it didn't feel right to me, so I found this one, the cosmic tone.
And what I did, I did like this.
And what I did then, I actually layered it left and right and played it double.
That way you get kind of like this chorus effect because you're not playing entirely
the same notes.
So you get a little bit of natural texture.
So that sounds kind of quite nice.
And then we have the melody, which I think is the celesta.
OK, so what I did.
The celesta, I recorded dry but I put some extra reverb and delay.
So, from the keyboard it sounds like this, which is a little bit boring, right?
So if you add the effect, we get something like this, which kind of gives it more depth
and more texture.
OK, and for the guitar, I actually slapped on, this is, in the software I'm using I
have this kind of like room simulator.
So, instead of just using a normal reverb I actually used a simulating live simulator
does the guitar amp.
And it looks something like this.
Hang on.
This is the dry one.
And with the room.
And then I basically put everything together I guess and then of course the drums on this
keyboard isn't as punchy as male you and I like it so I actually did put on some extra
80s drums.
OK, so I just spent the last hour or so videoing Anders playing all of the different tracks
to this song and so now I'm going to let you hear it!
All right, so I
hope you liked that.
Now, as cool as that was, one of the things I like to do on this channel is to play music
that is multi-track but using only sounds that come fro the keyboard.
And you know, Anders just could not help himself, he just had to enhance some of the sounds
because, you know, that's just the way he's accustomed to working.
But, I asked him if could disable all of the different effects that he's added in and
just give me a version that's just pure Casio MT-68 with no enhancements.
And so, yeah, he did that for me and so I'm going to play it again and let you hear what
it sounds like pretty much raw from the keyboard.
All right!
So, I was totally impressed with the song that he came up with.
I hope you guys liked it too.
I did want to mention that when I first gave him this keyboard, he came up with a song
and he played it for me and it was amazing.
And, I kept listening to it and I was like, "that sounds like there's more than just
this Casio in there."
And it turns out he had added some other instruments.
Some extra bass and drums and whatnot and so I told him that it sounded great, but that's
not really in the spirit of how I do things on 8-Bit Keys.
I like to have just the keyboard.
And, he still managed to sneak some drums in on the video that we showed you earlier.
But, I still want you to hear that song, though.
So I'm going to put a link down in the description field to his Soundcloud channel and there's
another Casio MT-68 song there, so there's going to be two of them: The one you just
heard and the first one he made.
And you need to go listen to that one too because it's actually pretty amazing.
Other than that, what did you think of the MT-68?
Yeah, actually, the keyboard surprised me.
It was actually more fun than I thought it was going to be.
And it had a lot more potential than I actually thought, so yeah, I think it turned out quite
well.
That's actually something I always find when I play with these old keyboards.
It's a real challenge at first but then the more you play with them the more you find
little hidden treasures of sounds you can use in ways you didn't think of at first.
And you certainly managed to do that with this one.
Way better than I could have probably ever done.
So, anyway, All right, well I guess that about wraps it up for this episode.
So, check down in the description field and stick around until next time.

Nuevos planes y noticias! - Duration: 4:07.
Hello guys welcome to my youtube channel welcome to a new video.
Soooo....
I would like to tell you what I had been doing during this months
I was out
I was in Milano, I was working...
I was doing some TV commercials
for Ritter Chocolate
for Pasta Reggia
I was doing a catalog for the nex season of summer
for the bikini brand Solo Sole
I was doing the catalog of the underwear brand Roso Porpora from Italy
I was doing different shootings
During all this time I was like....
documents and more documents...
because I´m in an agency from Miami and I have to go there to work.
So I had to ask for a visa.
Make the visa and go inside USA it is so difficult.
It is so controled.
It is so complicated because they make a lot of questions, they give you a form...
You have to gather all the documents of the jobs that you did in all your life.
so.. thanks that I have everything save in my laptop
amm... not inside the laptop... outside...
I have it!
I had to colect all the information, they had to compare the information...
because they also check the information sent.
They also make you more questions like:
-Why you want to come to USA?
-Where will you be in USA?
-You are thinking in stay there? Or you will return to your country?
It is a bit long process.
But finally I have my visa in my passport
And now I can go to work in the USA
I´m going to MIAMI!
For me it is a big new and a big oportunity
it is an adventure and an amazing experience.
I will also continue studying my career.
All what I did was what I explained, I had been travelling...
how you can hear I have irritated throat because...
I´m allways saying that
I don´t understand... why?
Why in the airports, planes, trains, train stations...
any public place...
the air conditioner is so high??
WHY?
Why you do it?
It is not necesary put it so high!!
From 30th of Juny that I returned to Spain I´m with my throat irritated
And from this day untill now I´m like this. I have not finished recovering.
Finally I´m here in Spain, my idea is not to go to any place for hollidays
because I´m tired to make and make bags
and I just want to stay at home, enjoy, go to the beach, sleep in my bed, go to my gym, eat my food...
And I don´t want to hear anything to travell this summer.
All what I explained is what I did during this time, this is the reason why I couldn´t stay in Youtube making videos
Next stop MIAMI!
I will do video about everything, airport, apartment, the beaches of Miami
to see if it is how the people say it is, how it is in the movies or not.
I hope you have hear about what I did and what I will do next.
See you in the next video!!

Putting People First: Paid Leave and Nestlé's Parent Support Policy - Duration: 4:56.
Whether you've given birth, whether you've adopted, Nestlé is there for that occasion.
Our employees' health and wellness is at the core of everything we do.
If you are a primary caregiver, with Nestlé, you can get 14 weeks of paid leave and then an
additional 12 weeks of unpaid leave.
They see it as a way of doing business, a way to make them more competitive as an employer,
and just the right thing to do if we're going to be a company that focuses on the first
1,000 days of life for a child.
It was just a wonderful experience.
I didn't realize what I missed the first time around until I got the chance to focus on
my family.
I think it's important that we as a company provide those opportunities for people to
have the balance of being at home during this very important stage of a baby's life, coming
back to work without the weighing of 'what's my job going to be?'
If we can provide that partnership, we're doing something right.
I am the Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs.
Nestle is a great company, I love working there.
Great products, great values, and they treat their employees very well.
When I got pregnant with Audra, who is our third child, my boss personally sat down with
me and said 'you know, think about it, please take advantage of it, because you don't get
that time back.'
I took the fourteen paid weeks, and I came back to work shortly after that.
She really did not want me looking at email, and when I did happen to look at something or
reply to something, she would say 'why are you on email?!'
With a prior employer, I had a much shorter maternity leave.
I worked in a really demanding, high-intensity work environment that relied on us to be available
almost 24 hours a day.
And this time, I really had the time to focus on my children, my newborn daughter, my family,
my husband- really spend time enjoying the fact that we had a little girl.
I noticed things that I never really took the time to notice with the boys.
That's time that I will cherish forever.
Medford is the proud home of Tombstone Pizza.
I'm a Quality Assurance Supervisor and a Factory Hygienist.
I make sure the plant is clean, and I make sure our food safety systems are in place.
You get about a million, a million and a half, sometimes up to two million pizzas a week.
It goes all over the United States.
When I was looking at companies and where I could go, I was looking for a company I
could retire with, that had good benefits, that would take care of me and my family,
but also that understood a balance between work and life.
I don't live to work.
I work to live.
My priority is my family.
Before I was at Nestlé, I got two and a half weeks off work when Alex was born.
It was very short, it was rushed.
I was only at the factory for nine or ten months when my son was born.
I still had a lot to learn, and I was still trying to dig into Nestlé.
They were going to give me 14 weeks off from my job with full pay.
I didn't feel that I needed that much time, so I took six weeks that I got to spend with
my family and not have to worry about my work.
Usually when you start a job, you always love it, and then you hate it, and then you learn
to like it.
I've loved it since day 1 and I haven't stopped.
I work for Nestle Purina PetCare Company in their HR Operations department.
We have two dog parks because we can bring our pets to campus, which is a little bit
unusual in the middle of downtown St. Louis.
My husband and I were going through the IVF process and that's when we found out about
the Parent Support Policy.
I was extremely excited, and I knew right away that I was going to take the full six
months with Kayla.
I was able to take the time that I needed to figure things out.
Especially now that I have a three-and-a-half-year old and an eight-month old, I appreciate how
beneficial this program was for our family.
We've got three mother lounges on campus - they give me enough time to take the breaks I need
to go pump, and I think that's really important.
It was amazing.
We are founded on nutrition values, and we're founded on making a difference in people's
lives.
We're a global organization- there's a lot of different policies, cultures, and regulations
in other countries.
I think U.S. people work work work.
We don't take a lot of time off, even for vacation.
We're trying to lead the organizations in the U.S. to change that mindset- that families
are important, that companies have a responsibility to make a difference in the U.S.
We have to do our part, and it starts with the top.
It starts with our CEO, it starts with our leaders in the organization, and I think it
will be a way of working in the future.

Top 5 Bollywood Celebrities Who Survived From Cancer | You Won't Believe
Back on track at Lime Rock Park.
Good memories to my old IMSA racing and winning here was really a big adventure.
And now today with the new Audi RS 3, what a car!
Brings back great memories.
2.5-liter TFSI engine, 5 cylinders, the same we had in the race car before, you know.
400 break horsepower, 350 newton-meters of torque, and as you can hear it, the sound,
the unique sound of a 5-cylinder engine.
Good for weight, it has no big overhangs, great to drive, and of course, not to forget Quattro.
Quattro is, in my opinion, one of the best inventions in the world, you know.
Normally, you put your power down, and the wheels are squealing and spinning, you know,
and everything.
Not like here.
It also gives to a very precise cornering speed.
Beginning here from turning in, you know, once I have the right gauges for the corner,
I can go on the throttle and put power down and there's no moving of the car, it's fantastic.
It always pulls the right way.
Just great.
Even here, the high speed corner down the hill, you see the preciseness of turning in.
The car turns in perfectly, on the power, and out on the straight.
You are always the master of this car, this is important.
It's forgiving, you know?
And that makes it really nice to drive.
And on top of that, we have the new Virtual Cockpit, which is really a fantastic thing.
It's also a lot of fun to use it.
For example, here now in the middle I have the rev counter.
And I press this button here, and then I see the track right in front of me.
And see, it shows me the line where I have to go.
If I ever get lost, which I hope is not the case, it brings me back on path.
Isn't it fantastic?
On a street car!
On the race track!
With the new Virtual Cockpit!
Hooray!
Hear the lovely sound of the engine.
Fantastic.

I work for Nestlé Purina PetCare Company.
We have two dog parks because we can bring our pets to campus.
My husband and I were going through the IVF process and that's when we found out about
the Parent Support Policy.
I was extremely excited, and I knew right away that I was going to take the full six
months with Kayla.
I was able to take the time I needed to figure things out.
Especially now that I have a three-and-a-half-year old and an eight-month old, I appreciate how
beneficial this program was for our family.
It was amazing.

Florida Travel: LGBT Getaways in the Palm Beaches - Duration: 4:52.
(upbeat electronic music)
- As someone who is part of the LGBT community,
and especially a trans woman,
when I travel to different destinations
safety is an important thing for me.
In the Palm Beaches, I feel very safe
on my day-to-day life, and really enjoy living here.
The Palm Beaches is a great place for LGBT travelers.
It's a very welcoming, open place,
very supportive community.
And the Palm Beaches have a lot to offer,
beautiful outdoor life, nightlife, shopping,
everything, entertainment, culture.
As an LGBT traveler, you have a variety
of places to choose from to stay at.
We have beautiful, chic, high-end hotels.
And then we also have lovely boutique, intimate B&B's.
Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa is a beautiful property
that is over on the island of Palm Beach.
It's a stunning, very high-end, beautiful resort
that is very LGBT-friendly.
A beautiful establishment is called The Brazilian Court.
And it is a little bit more of an intimate hotel
with a beautiful French restaurant with a high-end feel
in the historic area of Palm Beach.
Another great place for someone to stay at
is Grandview Gardens.
It's in one of our historic neighborhoods.
A lot of our buildings were built in the 1920's
so it has this kind of historic boutiquey feel
that's very intimate with a private entrance.
One of the things we're also known for
in the Palm Beaches is our amazing shopping.
And one of the most beautiful areas
to go shopping is Worth Avenue.
It is the Rodeo Drive of Palm Beach,
all high-end shops, historic buildings
that have intimate villas that you can kind of go down
almost like you're in Italy.
So you can have a day of shopping, then have a bite to eat.
We have many great restaurants.
One of them is Hullabaloo.
It's a really cool farm-to-table restaurant.
They have all these amazing designer cocktails of rockers.
It gets a late night crowd,
so it's very cool, very hip, very fun.
Another place that we love to eat is Howley's.
It is a diner that's been around since like the 50's.
Crowd is very cool, very mixed LGBT.
Everyone's super friendly there, I love them.
Another place that you have to check out is Guanabanas.
It's a beautiful outdoor area
right on the Intracoastal Waterway.
They're known for their delicious coktails,
very, very tasty.
It's a beautiful, authentic,
tropical kind of dining experience.
One of our beautiful areas is our downtown area,
Clematis Street, that has been revitalized
over a decade ago, so it's now a thriving downtown center.
Hang out with your friends, Kiki.
There really isn't anything not to love.
I love living here, it's an amazing community.
I feel very included, I feel very safe.
What more could you want?

- So many people ask me what it's like to be on top
of a polo pony galloping down the field at 35 mph
with other riders colliding into you
and you hitting a ball that's three inches in diameter.
It's the most exhilarating moment that you can have.
You're riding on this animal that is so magnificent
and so athletic, and you're so privileged
at that moment to be able to do that.
The people who watch and attend our events
are people from across the spectrum of communities.
The LGBTQ community has been a great supporter.
We also have the polo community.
And what's extraordinary about our event is it's held
at the International Polo Club in Palm Beach.
So your settings are beautiful, the animals are beautiful,
and the sport is beautiful.
- Mother, look, I used to be
a model right here. - No!
- For first-time attendees at the Gay Polo League,
it's visually stimulating.
There are a lot of people who purchase tailgates,
and they decorate them, and I always say
it's sort like Burning Man meets Pretty Woman.
I mean, it's just spectacular, visual, and creative.
It's funny, it's whimsical, it's colorful,
it's just great, just great.
You'll see a lot of things.
