Donald Trump Dropped A Bombshell About When He Will Shut Down Robert Mueller

Robert Mueller began his rigged witch-hunt against the President with one goal in mind

– removing Donald Trump from office.

Pundits have speculated whether Donald Trump will fire Mueller.

And when the President recently sat down for an interview, he dropped this bombshell about

shutting Mueller down for good.

Donald Trump Asserts His Authority Donald Trump addressed the rumors that he

would fire Mueller in an interview with Reuters.

Anti-Trump journalists have been fanning the flames of impeachment by spreading rumors

that Donald Trump will sack the special counsel any day now.

During the interview, Trump declared he could intervene and shut Mueller down whenever he

felt like it.

The President added – however – that he would not take that course of action.

Reuters reports:

Trump asserted that he retained the power to intervene in the probe, but that he had

chosen not to do so for the moment.

His administration, Trump said, was "a smooth-running machine, except in that world.

And I've decided to stay out.

Now I don't have to stay out.

"I can go in, and I could do whatever — I could run it if I want.

But I decided to stay out," he said.

"I'm totally allowed to be involved if I wanted to be.

So far, I haven't chosen to be involved.

I'll stay out."

Journalists freaked out over Trump's comments and immediately claimed he was acting like

a dictator.

However, Trump does own the power to shut Mueller down.

Mueller is an employee of the Justice Department.

The Justice Department reports to President Trump.

President Trump could order the deputy attorney general to fire Mueller or end the investigation

at any time—for any reason.

Donald Trump lawfully executing his powers as President is not a crime.

President Trump Exposes Mueller As A Snake Donald Trump also expressed his fear that

Mueller only wants an interview to set a perjury trap.

Reuters also reports:

The president expressed fears that investigators could compare his statements with that of

others who have testified in the probe, such as former FBI Director James Comey, and that

any discrepancies could be used against him.

"So if I say something and he (Comey) says something, and it's my word against his,

and he's best friends with Mueller, so Mueller might say: 'Well, I believe Comey,' and

even if I'm telling the truth, that makes me a liar.

That's no good."

Donald Trump's lawyers – as well as many of his supporters – have warned about the

dangers of a Mueller interview.

There is no upside for the Donald, and Mueller could use the interview as grounds for recommending

impeachment.

In previous interviews, Donald Trump expressed his desire to sit for an interview with Mueller,

but this was the first time he echoed the thoughts of his lawyers and supporters.

Pundits expect Donald Trump and his lawyers to make a final decision on a Mueller interview

in the coming weeks.
