Hillary Clinton is plotting a 2018 political comeback.
Clinton plans to hit the fundraising trail for Democrats across the country as part of
an effort to win back Congress.
The former First Lady was the darling of the donor class and she will headline three big
money Democrat National Committee fundraising events.
The Republican National Committee outraised the Democrat National Committee nearly 2 to
1 in 2017.
Party committees fund advertising and get out the vote operations.
Republicans holding a fundraising edge could be the difference in holding on to the House
and avoiding a Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
So the Democrat's desperation caused them to drag Hillary Clinton out of the mothballs.
The Democrat's Risk In Associating With Hillary Clinton
Republicans mocked the Democrats for calling Hillary Clinton out of the bullpen.
Republican National Committee Spokesman Michael Ahrens released a statement that read, "Leave
it to the Democrats to trot out one of the most unpopular candidates in history right
before the election."
"There's no one better to remind voters of why they rejected Democrats the last time
they voted."
Two Republican sources explained to Breitbart in exclusive interviews why Clinton making
appearances for the Democrat National Committee would backfire.
Breitbart reports:
"Hillary is out there doing our jobs for us," one GOP strategist working on efforts
to retain the House majority told Breitbart News in glee in response to the CNN report.
"The more she associates herself with any candidate, the less money we have to spend
on attack ads targeting them.
Voters have a visceral negative reaction to Hillary Clinton."
A second GOP official close to the White House added that any money or assistance that any
Democrat candidate takes from the DNC anywhere in America is now tainted with Clinton corruption.
"She's probably bringing half a dozen federal investigations into the DNC with her,"
the GOP official said.
"Talk about what the cat dragged in."
Hillary Clinton is the most unpopular national political figure ever.
Not only did the voters reject her Presidential campaigns twice, Clinton's political endorsement
is poison.
In the 2014 midterm elections, virtually every candidate Clinton campaigned for in competitive
races lost.
Voters associated those candidates with the Clinton brand – scandal, corruption and
lying – and flocked to their Republican opponents.
This could explain why Clinton has yet to make a public campaign appearance on behalf
of any candidate.
Any Democrat standing next to Clinton in public risks Republicans bombarding them with negative
ads filled with images of them standing next to one of the most despised figures in American
political history.
