The MudTug is a 10 V 10 tug-of-war event so there's five big mud pits dug
behind Gracie's and then ten teams on each side of that and they tug for about
four hours and usually we have about 100 teams there so it's pretty pretty big
day, thousand participants. And all the money goes to Hillside Family Agencies
last year we raised about $13,000 for Hillside so this year we're shooting for
15,000 so it should be a big year this year, but on top of that we have Texas
Roadhouse catering the event there's lawn games at the event, there's a DJ at
the event, there's a play pit at the event, there's a dunk tank at the event.
So for the $8 it takes to register it's actually a great deal and all the
registrations, we have the event all paid for before we even take registration
money so everybody's registration money actually goes directly to Hillside the
Hillside is, it's they provide social services for underprivileged families
families in like tough positions so anything from help with you know paying
for school or medical services or anything just to kind of get families,
that are having a tough time, up and on their feet so people can get involved
initially by going to MudTug it's it's the easiest way you can contribute to
the charity I guess and it comes with a lot of free food and fun but you know
beyond that I mean they have they have a location right down the road so if you
want to help Hillside out you can go to their location and just and help with
what they can email them we have eliminated every way to not sign up for
MudTug so you can sign up as an individual, a partial team, or a full team
and you can come to our table standing here and you can pay with cash or venmo
or you can go to mudtug.org and sign up online and you can all those options are
available online as well so you just really know no way you can't sign up
