USA news on Youtube May 9 2018

Matt: I hate to break it to man, but most guys are doing this dating thing all wrong.

You see someone once told me that the worst place to sell a book is actually a bookstore.

Now, I don't even know if that's true or not but it's definitely true when it comes to

meeting women. Going to bars, clubs are trying to meet women online, then you're competing

with every other guy there. Instead why not make meeting women a whole lot easier by going

to places with little or no competition. My name is Matt artisan from The Attractive Man,

and these are my favorite places to meet hot single women.

Anchor: He has mastered the art of seduction.

Matt: A woman wants to be turned on. We've done all the testing, we know what works.

Matt: Listen, most guys do the shotgun approach to dating and as a result they're

going for women at that they aren't even compatible with. Now just hear me out... if you ask any successful

business how they find customers they do it in a very specific way so that they can target

the demographic that is most likely to be compatible and of course want to buy their

product. You need to view dating the exact same way, and if you do this, you'll start meeting

and dating the women that you actually want. So what is your target demographic? You need

to have a clear picture of what type of woman you want to date. For example, probably shouldn't

go looking for women in bars and clubs if you're not even into party girls. So first

ask yourself these questions - what age range should she be? Do you wanna party animal type

girl or do you want a girl that's a little bit more classier? Maybe a bit of both? Do you

want an attractive girl that plays sports? What level of education should she have? Are

you a gym rat or a health nut? Well maybe she should be, too. When you understand the qualities

of your ideal girl this will help you find exactly where she hangs out. Now that being

said, some of the following locations will probably appeal to you while some of the others

may not, but before I give you my list of my favorite places, you need to know this. One

of the biggest logistical factors to help you meet more women is to optimize your lifestyle,

what I mean by that is to purposely live in neighborhoods filled with the women that you

want to meet, this way we'll see them just way more often and will be a lot easier to

meet them. This will drastically improve the amount of women that you meet on a regular

basis, for example when I turned eighteen I moved to Newport beach California world walking

distance to the beach has lots of women, and lots of bars and clubs, then ten years later

I moved to Las Vegas and I live in the heart of the city center which is crazy.

I don't recommend anybody do it but I can walk to all the bars all the clubs

the strip, there's drunk girls everywhere ,and you know walk out of my house and drunk girls

sometimes fall on my feet. I kid you not. And now I live in Manila in the Philippines and

the condo that I'm in right now is attached to a mall. I don't even have to go outside

to get to the mall, where I can meet girls there and is a club twenty meters away from

the entrance of my condo, so obviously that makes meeting women a lot easier plus it's

a piece of cake to get girls to come back to my place. Anyways let's get into my list

of my top twelve favorite places to meet single women. Number twelve - yoga classes and festivals.

Especially good if you love athletic and flexible girls, and who doesn't like that! Usually these

girls are really into health, nature, energy work, like contra shocker clearing and different

forms of self development, definitely winners in my book. By the way, self development courses

like PSI, landmark, Tony Robbins, usually have more women than men I'm not really sure

why. Number eleven is - bars, clubs, and lounges. Now I know I said this is not a great option

because of all the competition, but if you make sure that you go to venues that you actually

enjoy instead of just going to ones that you don't like just because there's a lot more

cute girls then you actually do pretty well because you're really enjoying yourself. For

example, I really like rock bars even though you know popular trendy dance club is gonna

have a lot more pretty girls. I'm gonna do better at the rock bar because I'm gonna be

having a better time in those only like two or three girls.

I'm probably gonna get them into me because they're gonna enjoy my vibe. Number

ten is a dog park. Have a dog? Then go here. Approaching there will be much easier because

you immediately have something in common. One of my favorite openers for a girl with a dog

that I got from my good friend Vince Calvin is: "Wow! What a cute owner you have."

Number nine - health food stores. Do you buy groceries? Well she probably does

too especially if she is health conscious. So trial whole foods or really any health

food store. In my experience health food stores have a lot more pretty girls and say, Walmart

or Target or like a Piggly wiggly... do those even exist anymore? Number eight - coffee shops.

Do you like to read or maybe work from your laptop? Well then do it from a popular coffee

shop because for some reason how women love Starbucks. But I recommend just hang out for

a couple hours at a popular copy shop and you sit were all the people pass by on the

street, and when you see a pretty lady shut your laptop and run after her, make sure to

take your laptop with you I don't want to get that **** stolen. And you see a pretty

girl in the Starbucks that you'd like to meet, if she's busy reading or working on her laptop

make sure to acknowledge the reality. Acknowledge what she's doing say something like "Hey real

quick, I know you're reading but I just wanted to come over and introduce myself. Hi."

Number seven is the Gym. Hot women usually work out so find a gym where all the

hot girls attend. Now keep in mind that a girl at the gym is not there to chit chat usually

so keep it short and to the point. Use our super simple - compliment, qualify, close process to

make her deeply attracted to you in just a few minutes. I'll leave a link down in the description

of a video that I shot when approaching a girl at Gold's gym with the three sixty camera

that I'm literally holding right here, speaking of other videos, make sure to subscribe to

our channel man if you're not already subscribed because we have a lot of awesome videos coming

out and make sure to click that bell icon so that you can get notified when we release

a new video. Number six is cooking classes. Yep, most cooking classes the women outnumber the

men and of course that's a great scenario when the women outnumber the men because the

all star fighting over you.

Number five is music festivals or concerts. If you love music as much as I

do then this is definitely your spot. Large music festivals have tons of women and they're

all looking to have a good time so to win her over just focus on having fun. Before

I started really learning and studying how to approach women, I used to meet a lot of women in bars

on the head rock bands or you know big concerts and I usually just go up to him and say "Hey

you know which band this is? You know the name of this band? You know which band is playing

first?? or just something like that, "Are you big fan of this band?" someone has to do with

the band. I mean it's pretty easy and worked. Number four is shopping malls. We do a lot

of our boot camp the shopping centers in shopping malls so I have a lot of experience with this

one, and if you like a girl that dresses nice, man who doesn't like that? Then you can be

sure that she frequents malls. The best time to go usually the weekends like Saturday mornings

or sometimes even Sunday afternoons. Number three is the park. I actually know a girl who

told me that she really love a guy to approach her while she's running... this is actually kind

of a surprise to me, but yeah. I guess it makes sense that she likes to run and she'd probably

like to meet a guy who likes to run, so you runners you know what to do..

And there's other activities besides running. At popular parks you'll find

women doing all sorts of different activities. Number two is the beach. Sunny beaches are

loaded with beautiful women in bikinis getting her tan on and the thing is that most guys

are way too intimidated to approach a girl in a bikini. So by approaching her you'll

stand out from all the other cowards. I also have a league down in the description that

shows a video on how to meet girls specifically at the beach plus the people are pretty much

always in a good mood at the beach so we're

probably going to get a good reaction from her versus meeting a girl who maybe just

got off work and had a really bad day. Number one is a college campus. Even if you aren't in

college, even if you're in your thirties or forties, this is by far my favorite place to

meet women because it's a target rich environment. *This is what I call a target rich environment.*

Matt: Full of young, educated women who are usually pretty eager to socialize, you

know, think about it.... when you're in college you'll want to meet people you don't have

that many friends maybe you're from a different city, or different state, or even different

country, they don't know that many people. So just visit your local university and go for

a walk on campus or visit a cafe on campus and the strike up conversations and listen

and I have a free Conversation Cheat Sheet that shows you exactly how to do that and I put

a link of it down in the description. Now you might be afraid that she'll ask you "Why the

heck are you there?" especially if you're a little bit older. First of all, they almost

never ask. If she does, just tell her that you're taking a walk, which is true, or that you like

the coffee shop nearby, which is probably true, or just make it true... go visit there and try

the coffee hopefully it doesn't suck, or that you have a friend there if it's true. Or just

come clean and say that you don't like meeting women at bars and clubs, and you prefer to

meet them in normal everyday environments, because they're not so drunk and sloppy. You'd actually

be surprised at how many women love that type of answer. Now here's a bonus one - meetup groups.

Join meetup groups or other groups in your city that you enjoy, such as hiking or wine

meet up groups. You'll find other women with the same hobbies so you'll immediately have

something in common, and have, you know, a little bit of a connection in something to talk about.

So check out Meetup.com for all sorts of different events and meet up groups in your

city. I one time saw a ghost hunter meetup group, that might be an interesting day.

But what if you're really into something that's not really all that girl

friendly? Such is like video games, or shooting guns, or MMA fighting, once a even if you're

at a video game convention, or gun convention, or MMA fight, even if it is like ninety five

percent men and only five percent women, still approach those women, because there's a good

chance that they might be they're just trying to find guys and most guys are still gonna

be too intimidated and afraid to approach them. Now even if you weren't in your favorite

environment, for example, you just see a random beautiful woman walking down the street, make

sure you approach her because even though you don't have any idea like about her interests

because there's no context to that situation, you can still easily find out so take advantage

of all opportunities. Now how do you start the conversation in each of these different

situations? Well I created a free Conversation Cheat Sheet where I break down exactly what to

say after hello to make her want you. You get my top conversation starters for any situation,

simple techniques to never run out of things to say, simple ways to escalate the interaction

and more. Download it right now because you want to keep it handy before you go out. So

just click the image in the bottom right of this video right now to download your Conversation

Cheat Sheet. And if you're not subscribed to our channel, then go ahead and hit that subscribe

button, and if you want us to personally mentor you then make sure to check out our boot camp

schedule. My name's Matt Artisan from The Attractive Man, and I'll see in the next video.

Kanye Makes Troubling Confession, Exposes The Real Effect Obama Had On The Black Community - Duration: 13:51.

Kanye Makes Troubling Confession, Exposes The Real Effect Obama Had On The Black Community

Kirsters Baish|

During an interview with TMZ's Harvey Levin on Tuesday, Rap icon Kanye West described

former President Barack Obama as the "opioids" of the black community.

During the interview, West stated, "Obama was our opioids.

It made us feel like everything was good."

He has a point.

Obama was a bandaid for the black community.

Much like the high one gets when taking opioids, the black community felt great thinking that

someone was representing them.

It was a feeling that they had never experienced before.

West explained that African Americans held Obama in such a high regard that he actually

began to alienate himself from the lower class.

The rapper went on, "The class war is one of the reasons why Trump won, because Obama

was so high class that it stopped speaking to the middle and the lower class.

He's so classy, and to break the class system, we have to start by loving ourselves."

Later in the interview, West stated that he sees a perception of Obama that the mainstream

media and Hollywood elitists created.

This perception made African American men all feel like they had to be this perfect

version of themselves in order to be successful.

"This perfect idea of a superhero with Obama, or Michael Jordan — I want to show people

that it is ok to screw up, and you still can make it through things," he stated.

Kanye explained that he had been receiving constant text messages and emails from friends,

berating him for supporting Trump, yelling at him about all of the things that Trump

has done.

He reminded these Trump haters that Obama had done a lot of the same things.

"Black people have a tendency to focus and march when a white person kills a black person

or wears a hat, but when it's 700 kids being killed in Chicago it's O.K.

… There's been more focus and more marches about whites killing blacks than kids in Chicago

killing each other," he reminded.

West confessed that he had developed an addiction to opioids after getting liposuction plastic

surgery when he was prescribed painkillers as part of his recovery.

Fox News reports:

West's revelation is perhaps even more shocking since his mother, Donda West, died after undergoing

various plastic surgery procedures including liposuction.

West, 40, says he got the surgery to look good so that the gossip site wouldn't make

fun of him.

He says he was prescribed pills for recovery, which he then developed an addiction to.

The star said that two days before he was hospitalized for a mental breakdown, he was

taking two pills per day.

He claims that after his hospital stint, the amount of pills he was consuming jumped to

seven pills per day.

Ben Carson Just Delivered Devastating News To Those Taking Advantage of Welfare - Duration: 13:52.

Ben Carson Just Delivered Devastating News To Those Taking Advantage of Welfare

Kirsters Baish|

Liberals already hated Ben Carson, but he just gave them one more thing to complain

about.

Carson is known around the world as an incredibly honored neurosurgeon.

The left hated him from the moment he entered the world of politics as a black conservative.

Carson, the current Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, announced this week that

he has some big ideas involving changes in our country's subsidized housing program.

These changes would raise the percentage of all income housing assistance recipients pay

towards their rent from 30 percent to 35 percent.

The minimum rent payment would also be raised from $50 to $150, according to the proposal

Carson took part in an interview with the Townhall website this past Friday.

He explained that it was simply a way of "moving people along to a position of self-sufficiency."

Obviously, the left is ticked off, but what else is new?

The liberal media has been painting Carson as someone who wants to screw over the poor

people in our country, and of course they're claiming that his plans would "hurt single

mothers the most."

Carson made it clear while speaking with Townhall that this is not the case.

Conservative Tribune reports:

The proposal is called the "Making Affordable Housing Work Act," and it would require

congressional action because HUD can't change rent rules on its own authority, according

to CNN Money.

That means it's already getting hammered by Democrats in Congress — who love nothing

more than keeping poor people poor and voting Democrat — but Carson told Townhall he was

expecting the resistance.

That doesn't mean the ideas are bad, he said.

With the economic improvements under President Donald Trump, with the nation's unemployment

rate is at an historic low, now is the time to overhaul the system, he said.

"I would only be shocked if someone said yes, please increase my rent," he told Townhall.

"No one's ever going to say that, but you know we have exemptions for anybody for

whom this is going to be a great hardship."

"For the vast, vast majority of cases it is not going to be."

These proposals do not apply to the physically impaired or the elderly, as reported by CNN.

They are meant for only able-bodied adults.

The HUD Secretary also explained that subsidized housing was never meant to suck up taxpayer

dollars in order to support multiple generations of families in poverty.

It was meant to be a stepping stone of sorts, not a permanent solution for lazy people,

but unfortunately that is what it has become.

Carson explained to Townhall, "If you look at HUD over the last couple decades it's

been mostly about just putting people under a roof and sort of keeping them there.

Instead of it being a stepladder it's become a mode of life and, in many cases, for generation

after generation of individuals and I don't think it's their fault.

I think it's the fault of the system that has basically sapped the incentive for people

to work."

The Trump administration is working towards something much bigger.

They are hoping that people will be motivated to work in order to receive public assistance,

such as food stamps.

Carson went on, "Obviously we're sensitive to people who have exceptional situations.

Obviously, we're going to take care of those people in an appropriate way but the key thing

for people to understand is that doing nothing simply is not an option."

The left already hated Ben Carson, but he just gave them another reason

to be very

very afraid.

Report Joy Reid May Face Charges For Lying To FBI About False Hacking Allegations - Duration: 13:51.

Report Joy Reid May Face Charges For Lying To FBI About False Hacking Allegations

Kirsters Baish|

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that MSNBC host Joy Reid has continually claimed

that the homophobic posts that she recently sent out were falsified by internet hackers,

and that they were not written by her.

Searches were made through the Wayback Machine which proved that Reid's claims were entirely

false.

These searches proved that all of the posts that contained homophobic content were made

through the Wayback Machine.

She then decided to claim that someone hacked the Wayback Machine and pushed the FBI to

investigate.

Reid is being backed up by MSNBC, although her claims of being hacked are pretty hard

for anyone to believe.

Reid's personal lawyer released this statement via MSNBC: "We have received confirmation

the FBI has opened an investigation into potential criminal activities surrounding several online

accounts, including personal email and blog accounts, belonging to Joy-Ann Reid."

A Law and Crime analyst has now written that Reid could see legal repercussions for lying

to the FBI, and Reid isn't alone.

MSNBC could also be facing charges.

The analyst wrote:

It almost certainly appears to be the case that Reid and/or MSNBC filed a report with

the FBI–and many have suggested this report itself was false.

Did they know they were relying on apparently false information when they filed it?

Could this qualify as a false statement under 18 USC §1001?

This can get a bit tricky.

Section 1001 has a "knowingly and willfully" knowledge requirement.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Manual (USAM), this means, a person making false

statements to the FBI must have (1) made a statement deliberately and with knowledge

that the statement was being made (taking care of "willfully"); and (2) that the

statement was made with some intent to deceive or with some knowledge of its falsity (taking

care of "knowingly").

Here, Reid could have relied upon the Nichols "research" for her own opinion about the

once-disputed posts.

If she did, that would seemingly defeat a finding that she (or whoever filed the complaint)

"knowingly" made false statements to the FBI.

But if Reid really did lie about the posts in the first place then she simply used Nichols

as a conduit for those lies–and relying on Nichols to launder false accusations wouldn't

really work to Reid's favor.

This is an extremely fact-intensive inquiry–and one precisely suited for a federal investigator.

The article goes on to explain that the USAM states, "A defendant is not relieved of

the consequences of a material misrepresentation by lack of knowledge when the means of ascertaining

truthfulness are available.

In appropriate circumstances, the government may establish the defendant's knowledge

of falsity by proving that the defendant either knew the statement was false or acted with

a conscious purpose to avoid learning the truth."

It states that Reid's comments, which include using Nichols as a crutch, to allegedly come

up with the truth… yet again.

There is one important thing to note.

Adam H. Johnson noted that "If you read the lawyer's statement it never specifies

the hacking being investigated was in regards to the anti-gay posts.

In fact it strangely does not; just makes vague references to hacking which she could

very well have been, at some point, been a victim of."

Reid and MSNBC could be facing some serious legal trouble if

these

claims

are pursued.

How To Make Knives - Sanding Out The Bevels - American Knife Maker Gillian - Duration: 5:27.

Hi, I'm Chris, and I make knives. Today is just a day of drudgery we're gonna take out the stepovers.

It's gonna really suck stay tuned. I'm gonna show you how we do it

The Fallen Star Build - part 4

So in a previous video I showed you how I milled my bevels

Using the haas machining Center, and this is a symmetrical blade.

We have a lot more processes to do to it.

So what we're gonna do is work on the step-over so we're basically going to sand these out, try to get it more smooth.

Then we're gonna

Surface grind this piece down to its final thickness. That would be a great topic to get into mathematics.

Also, I'm going to engrave my name on this. Write the USA cause I love this country

It's made in the United States of America.

I'm an American by the way if you didn't know an American knife maker.

and

Then I'm gonna write the blade steel on there. I know... anytime you in your shop

Anytime you're in your shop.

Until you engrave it right on it with a sharpie what this steel is so that you will know what the recipe is to heat treat it.

If you're like me you get a whole bunch of Steel through the shop.

Stainless steels don't all heat treat the same, they all heat treat different.

So do yourself a favor and when it's in your shop write down what the steel type is?

So you don't forget when you go to heat treat it you don't screw it up

That's your tip for the day, use a sharpie. That's a good idea

So what the machine just did, is cut off this excess piece of material.

This is the remains of the pocket where the .375 had room to come in to do the bevels

And this is a piece of stainless tool steel, and it's good for a lot of things

I've thought a lot about

Putting this in the back of my knife and turning it into a glass breaker

It is stainless tool steel, and you can get a very high rockwell hardness on this like 62c

It would make a fantastic glass breaker

But I haven't done that yet

Welcome back to the workbench

So what we have done here, is i've cut this excess metal free

What we have here is my blade. What we're getting ready to do now is to remove the step overs

And to to sand out these step overs I'm going to use a flex shaft tool

I'm going to use a flex shaft tool known as the Foredom

Here you can see mine is to model TX it is 1/3 horsepower motor. It's maximum

RPM is 15,000 and they come with different sized flex shafts some have a 60 inch cord

I think mine is a 48

H 30 handpiece. You can see it's like a little drill chuck

It comes with its own key, and as you turn this it opens and closes.

What I'm going to use is called cratex

Let you guys see this so this is cratex wheels.

These are tiny wheels it's in silicon carbide impregnated inside of a rubber wheel

They are basically 1 inch in diameter and 1/8 of an inch thick

fit on this tiny little mandrel and

Here's a shop tip for you. Don't lose this screw. If you lose this screw. You'll lose time trying to find it.

keep your forearms on your workbench so if you drop anything it doesn't fall on the floor, and you have to look for It

I got these cratex wheels from a company called Rio Grande and

It's a jewelry making company, and I really like their stuff

You could see here. Here's some foredom.

It's got all kinds of

tools and supplies primarily for jewelry making

but it's also extremely handy for the knife maker and

You should check them out, and here's the website RioGrande.com

You definitely want to wear a respirator using these cratex wheels.

p100 stops 100% of all the particulates

I'm also going to be using this this is called bur life; this helps keep the metal cool.

But it's not so important to keep it very cool because we haven't heat treated to steel yet

So let me put on my PPE and we'll get to taking these step overs out

Ok here we go

What I've done is I've gone from the coarse grit up to the medium

And I'm gonna work my way through all four grits of the cratex.

Constantly sanding out the step overs

This process is gonna. Take me a few hours

Probably honestly all day

I'm going to give these blades a quick tumble. I Just finished standing them out.

And the next step is I will meet you at the surface grinder. Where we will take the blades down to the final thickness.

I'll see you guys in the very next video

Trump Not Done After Ending Iran Deal, He Just Erased The Final Piece Of Obama's Legacy – END..... - Duration: 7:58.

Trump Not Done After Ending Iran Deal, He Just Erased The Final Piece Of Obama's Legacy

– END OF AN ERROR!

The end of an error.

President Donald Trump's announcement at the White House on Tuesday that the United

States is leaving the Iran deal marks the end of what his predecessor, Barack Obama,

considered his main foreign policy legacy.

According to the New York Times, the U.S. will reinstate sanctions against Iran that

were waived as part of the deal, which was negotiated under former President Barack Obama's

administration and signed in 2015.

A source told the NYT the Trump administration will also place additional economic penalties

on Tehran.

The president has railed against the Iran deal frequently.

He has called it the "worst deal ever" and vowed during the 2016 campaign to either

withdraw the U.S. from the agreement or renegotiate it.

A second source told the NYT negotiations over the nuclear deal crumbled after President

Trump insisted Iran face sharp limits on its nuclear fuel production after 2030.

The current accord lifts those limits.

President Trump stated – "This was a horrible, one-sided deal that should have never, ever

been made.

It didn't bring calm, it didn't bring peace, and it never will."President Trump

will amass credit from his base for keeping his promises in withdrawing the U.S. from

the Iran deal, however, in truth, the Iran deal was undone by its own terms.

The deal did not stop Iran from enriching uranium, nor did it stop Iran from eventually

building a nuclear weapon.

Neither did it stop Iran's continued global aggression.

In fact, the Iran deal was not truly a deal at all.According to Breitbart –

"It was never signed by any of the parties (the U.S., Iran, France, the UK, Germany,

China, and Russia).

It was unclear about crucial subjects like ballistic missiles because the "deal"

was described differently by the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and by the UN Security

Council Resolutions that were meant to implement it.

And, crucially, it was never sent to the U.S. Senate for ratification.

Obama's disregard for the Treaty Clause of the U.S. Constitution was of a piece with

his general disregard for the constitutional constraints on the power of the federal government

and the presidency.

His refusal to submit the agreement to Senate scrutiny, and his party's abuse of the filibuster

to prevent even a weak Senate vote, deepened the damage that Obamacare — his other struggling

"legacy," in domestic policy — did to American civic culture."

What President Trump actually did for America was put an end to Obama's legacy of appeasement.

No more red lines, no more talking.

America talks and America backs up what she says with actions.

Barack Obama came to power convinced that America was at best a negative force in world

affairs with this idea that we must lead from behind.

At worst, Obama believed America was the cause of the world's problems, believing we could

only be a force for good if we "renounced its traditional allies, abandoned its principles

of freedom, and gave up its national interests in favor of rising regional powers elsewhere."

"In his first year in office, Obama backed away from agreements that his predecessor

had made to provide missile defense in Europe.

He also reached out to the Muslim world, beginning with obsequious speeches in Cairo and in Ankara,

and deep genuflection to the Saudi king.

When the Green Revolution took to the streets of Iran, Obama allowed the regime to consolidate

power.

He criticized Israel openly while cozying up to the Cuban dictatorship

Then here comes President Donald Trump with his "America First" policies and has reversed

most of that.

He withdrew America from the Paris Climate Accords exposing it for the fraud and the

drain on American resources that it was.

Later this week, he will move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

President Trump states – "The United States no longer issues empty threats.

When I make promises, I keep them.

Thus ended Obama's experiment with appeasement and autocracy.

Meanwhile, Obama is furious at seeing his legacy crumble to dust, calling President

Trump's actions "misguided."

In a long statement, the former president explained that "today's announcement is

so misguided."

1.

First, the JCPOA was not just an agreement between my Administration and the Iranian

government.

After years of building an international coalition that could impose crippling sanctions on Iran,

we reached the JCPOA together with the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the European Union,

Russia, China, and Iran.

It is a multilateral arms control deal, unanimously endorsed by a United Nations Security Council

Resolution.

2.

Second, the JCPOA has worked in rolling back Iran's nuclear program.

For decades, Iran had steadily advanced its nuclear program, approaching the point where

they could rapidly produce enough fissile material to build a bomb.

The JCPOA put a lid on that breakout capacity.

Since the JCPOA was implemented, Iran has destroyed the core of a reactor that could

have produced weapons-grade plutonium; removed two-thirds of its centrifuges (over 13,000)

and placed them under international monitoring; and eliminated 97 percent of its stockpile

of enriched uranium – the raw materials necessary for a bomb.

So by any measure, the JCPOA has imposed strict limitations on Iran's nuclear program and

achieved real results.

3.

Third, the JCPOA does not rely on trust – it is rooted in the most far-reaching inspections

and verification regime ever negotiated in an arms control deal.

Iran's nuclear facilities are strictly monitored.

International monitors also have access to Iran's entire nuclear supply chain, so that

we can catch them if they cheat.

Without the JCPOA, this monitoring and inspections regime would go away.

4.

Fourth, Iran is complying with the JCPOA.

That was not simply the view of my Administration.

The United States intelligence community has continued to find that Iran is meeting its

responsibilities under the deal, and has reported as much to Congress.

So have our closest allies, and the international agency responsible for verifying Iranian compliance

– the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

5.

Fifth, the JCPOA does not expire.

The prohibition on Iran ever obtaining a nuclear weapon is permanent.

Some of the most important and intrusive inspections codified by the JCPOA are permanent.

Even as some of the provisions in the JCPOA do become less strict with time, this won't

happen until ten, fifteen, twenty, or twenty-five years into the deal, so there is little reason

to put those restrictions at risk today.

6.

Finally, the JCPOA was never intended to solve all of our problems with Iran.

We were clear-eyed that Iran engages in destabilizing behavior – including support for terrorism,

and threats toward Israel and its neighbors.

But that's precisely why it was so important that we prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear

weapon.

Every aspect of Iranian behavior that is troubling is far more dangerous if their nuclear program

is unconstrained.

Our ability to confront Iran's destabilizing behavior – and to sustain a unity of purpose

with our allies – is strengthened with the JCPOA, and weakened without it.
