Storm systems across US are captured in breathtaking time lapse video - Daily News - Duration: 2:12.

All of 2018's weather systems have been captured in a breathtaking video.

In the mesmerizing footage, patterns of greens, blues, yellows and reds flow smoothly across the United States as symphony music plays in the background.

The time-lapse video first starts out with Winter Storm Grayson that formed on January 2 and battered the East Coast with snow and ice until January 6.

The next major storm systems to dance across the screen are those that hit the East Coast in the first three weeks of March.

High-impact winter storms Riley, Quinn, Skylar and Toby each brought heavy snow, gusty winds and coastal flooding to parts of the mid-Atlantic and/or Northeast.

Riley and Skylar both underwent bombogenesis near the coast.

Skipping to hurricane season, which begins on June 1, the radar shows Hurricane Florence, which mauled the East Coast in August.
