KARMA: Dick's Sporting Goods Just Made Dismal Announcement About Company's Future.

After caving to liberal gun-grabbers with a ridiculous PR stunt, where Dick's Sporting

Goods re-announced they'd no longer sell "assault-style weapons," (they had already

stopped selling these weapons after Sandy Hook) the once-popular sporting goods retailer

is now in big, big financial trouble.

From The Blaze Dick's Sporting Goods announced last week

its new policy barring the sell of "assault-style" weapons in all its stores has done considerable

damage to key areas of the company's business.

Unsurprisingly, the policy change has severely damaged the outdoor retailer's firearm and

hunting sales.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, company executives did not explain how much its firearms

and hunting business declined, but confirmed the steep declines are directly related to

the firearm policy change.

"As expected, our firearms policy changes impacted our hunt business which saw an accelerated

decline in an already challenged category.

We expect these businesses to remain under significant pressure throughout the remainder

of the year," Dick's CFO Lee Belitsky told analysts on an earnings call.

Dick's CEO Edward Stack elaborated that he doesn't expect the firearms or hunting

segments to improve this year.

"We expect, based on our firearms policy, it's going to continue to be challenged

through the balance of the year.

We don't see a big change," he explained.

"There's a number of things that are yet to be determined.

The one thing we do know is that it will continue to be challenged."

Despite the policy change damaging Dick's firearms and hunting business, the company

reported strong overall earnings.

Dick's announced in February, following the tragic massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas

High School, that all its stores would cease selling "assault-style" firearms, such

as AR-15s.

Rudy Giuliani, former New York Mayor, now one of President Donald Trump's lawyer,

joined George Stephanopoulos Sunday on ABC.

During his explosive interview, Rudy punched holes in Mueller's 'witch hunt like Swiss

cheese that will leave democrats heads exploding.

On Sunday, Rudy said that the U.S. Constitution does not forbid the President from pardoning

himself.

"He's not, but he probably does.

He has no intention of pardoning himself, but that doesn't say he can't."

Rudy said after responding to question if he can pardon himself.

This was a set up question from ACBC, but Rudy slapped it right down.

Rudy continued "That's what the Constitution says, and if you want to change it, change

it."

His remarks come one day after The New York Times reported Trump's legal team floated

the possibility of using executive privilege to avoid a grand jury subpoena from special

counsel Robert Mueller.

Mueller has intimated in the past that he wants to interview Trump to determine if he

had criminal intent to obstruct the investigation into his associates' possible links to Russia's

election meddling.

Mueller will have to decide whether to press ahead with a historic grand jury subpoena

if Trump's team denies him access to the president.

The memo claims Trump's position as the head of the government makes it difficult

for him to prepare and sit for an interview.

Mueller must therefore prove the president is the only person who can provide information

investigators seek, according to the memo, which was authored by John Dowd and Jay Sekulow,

both of whom acted as Trump's lawyers at the time.

"The president's prime function as the chief executive ought not be hampered by requests

for interview," they wrote.

"Having him testify demeans the office of the president before the world."

The NBA finals is another round of the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors battling

for the championship. But the parties and celebrations were getting notoriety from even

those who do not play or are interested in basketball for an interesting reason. Something

that had to do with the hats they were wearing!

The commemorative cap that all the players were wearing featured the team logo with a

general "NBA FINALS" wording on the center of it. However, a circular piece that covered

the bottom of the B part of NBA made it look like it said NRA. As if it were representing

the National Rifle Association. Something that got many liberals on social media really

upset.

The Conservative Tribune reported:

"The NBA is rife with loud-mouthed liberals — particularly Cavaliers star LeBron James

— who's better known for left-leaning clothing and accessories like preachy sneakers

and virtue-signaling safety pins than Second Amendment-supporter hats. Meanwhile, Warriors

coach Steve Kerr is an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump. The mainstream media

also gives him a platform to blast the NRA routinely, and often with the introductory

note that Kerr's father was k****d by "g*n violence."

(The odd thing about that is that Kerr's father was assassinated by Hezbollah killers

while serving as president of American University in Beirut in 1984, according to USA Today.

Only a hideously slanted mainstream media could blame that on "g*n violence." And

besides, has anyone heard Steve Kerr denouncing radical Muslims lately?) But while liberals

were moaning, normal people were getting a kick out of the hats. He's not the only

one who likes the look.

According to Sporting News, the Warriors are the overwhelming favorite to defeat the Cavaliers

when they repeat their 2017 championship series (Game 1 tips off Thursday). But no matter

who comes out on top, this hat's already a winner."

James has been an outspoken liberal in the past throwing support behind progressive causes,

vocally praising former President Obama, and outright denouncing President Trump during

his time in office. Which is why it is not surprising that his fans and supporters are

upset at the potential appearance of him supporting the NRA. However, that is what makes it so

funny.

"LeBron James has an outspoken history of being an adversary of President Trump. In

an interview with ESPN, LeBron was quoted as saying, "The number one job in America

… is someone who doesn't understand the people, and really don't give a f— about

the people," James said. "It's not even a surprise when he says something. It's

like, laughable. It's laughable and it's scary."

But why the hate LeBron? It appears that James has been drinking the liberal kool-aid. He

has always been a huge Obama fan and supporter. When the former president turned 56 last year,

Lebron sent his love over social media. Yesterday, in game three of the Eastern Conference Finals,

against the Boston Celtics. LeBron appears to snub a fan wearing a Trump, "Make America

Great Again hat." The man who was clearly excited that James was about to hand him a

game towel got the snub of his life.

Clevland Cavaliers star LeBron James is one of the most outspoken anti-Trumpers in the

National Basketball League, but is he so anti-Trump that he would snub a fan for wearing a MAGA

cap? A new video has people asking precisely that. The video in question was taken during

Game 3 against the Boston Celtics when James was discarding one of his used towels. Many

front row fans are thrilled to get a player's cast off for their sports collection. But

as James neared the sidelines, it appears that he purposefully bypassed a fan who was

wearing one of President Trump's famous, big red "Make America Great Again" hats,

the Big Lead reported.

It appears that James looked in the ball cap-wearing man's direction only to turn away from him

and throw the towel to someone else. Of course, we can't know for sure if the three-time

NBA champ actually saw the MAGA hat. Then again, he was only a few feet away, making

it a bit hard to believe he missed it especially given his dislike for President Trump.

Finally, one wonders if that basketball fan were wearing a "hope and change" hat,

a Hillary cap, or a "Sí se puede!" hat, would James have so blatantly overlooked him?

It is easy to doubt he would. It never seems to end. Have you ever wondered what it was

that has angered so many left-leaners? It can't be that Trump has had affairs, former

President Bill Clinton had an affair with a young intern in the Oval Office. So what

is it? Could it be that he didn't sell his election out to the highest bidder, that he

didn't sell out to the deep state? He has run his presidency like no one else

and they hate him for it. But why LeBron? Why would he hate the president? The left

has said that Trump is a racist, but in 1998 Jesse Jackson praised Trump for his lifetime

of service for African Americans."

The fact remains that if James knew what he was doing off the court then he would stay

out of the political arena. Because of celebrities, entertainers, and athletes never up in the

right spot when they insert their opinions on a public stage regarding these types of

issues. At least for the sake of his fans, because a lot of conservative sports watchers

do not want to know athletes political opinions and they will stop watching as a result. Those

lost ratings are just what these athletes are going to have to deal with if they continued

doing what they are doing.

Newly unearthed text messages from a bombshell report by The Hill's investigative journalist

John Solomon just brought the "Spygate" scandal even closer to Obama's Oval Office.

These new texts from FBI agent Peter Strzok and Lisa Page that seem to indicate fears

of political meddling or leaking by the Obama White House, the Department of Justice (DOJ)

and the CIA.

Over several days, they exchanged texts that appear to express fears of political meddling

or leaking by the Obama White House, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the CIA.

"This is MUCH more tasty for one of those DOJ aholes to leak," Strzok wrote as the

two FBI colleagues — then having an affair, the bureau later told Congress — debated

how long they could delay a CIA-FBI meeting so as to "not play into the agency's BS

game."

They voiced alarm when an FBI colleague — "Liz" — suggested the Obama White House was about

to hijack the investigation.

"Went well, best we could have expected," Strzok texted Page after an Aug. 5, 2016,

meeting.

"Other than Liz quote 'the White House is running this.'

" Page then texted to assure Strzok of a paper trail showing the FBI in charge: "We

got emails that say otherwise."

The next day, they went into further detail about their White House concerns.

"So maybe not the best national security president, but a genuinely good and decent

human being," Page texted Strzok, referencing former President Obama.

Strzok replied: "Yeah, I like him.

Just not a fan of the weakness globally.

Was thinking about what the administration will be willing to do re Russia."

In the end, the FBI secretly investigated the Trump campaign for months, engaging with

other agencies on a more limited inquiry of Russian efforts to hack Clinton's campaign.

The summer 2016 text messages are bookends to a series of London contacts that pre-date

the official opening of the investigation and produced the evidence the FBI used that

fall to justify its court-ordered surveillance of presidential campaign figures.

We now have reports that confirm that Former Attorney General under Barack Obama, Eric

Holder has officially said he is considering a run for the Democrat presidential nomination

in 2020.

And worse, his visit to New Hampshire today would indicate that he's serious about that

idea.

He even went as far as to announce a campaign slogan, which seems like he's not even sure

what to say.

It was like reading a bunch of slogans mixed together because he's confused.

As per the Tweet below, it looks like his slogan might be this: "We can make this

country better.

It's not about making this country great again.

It is great.

But it could be better."

If that's really his slogan, then how does he plan to fit that on a hat?

It seems like MAGA might have the upper hand in the next election.

Some people might find it hard to stop laughing if that's truly Holder's slogan.

It also might be hard to make America 'better', after Trump already made it 'great.'

Holder hinted at running for President before, so this isn't the first time this topic

has come up.

If he wants to make the country better, he could start by figuring out his own slogan

first.

CNBC reported about this back in February when Holder was "hinting" at entering

the election in 2020, but now it seems like he might be more serious about it.

They reported:

"Former Attorney General Eric Holder refused to rule out the possibility, that he would

run for president in 2020, and said he will decide before the end of the year if there

is to be "another chapter" in his political life.

"We'll see," Holder said when a reporter asked him about a possible run for president,

during a breakfast Wednesday hosted by the Christian Science Monitor in Washington.

"I think I'll make a decision by the end of the year about whether, there is another

chapter in my government service," Holder said, according to reporters who attended

the event.

A former judge and United States attorney for the District of Columbia, Holder currently

leads the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, a group that seeks to push back

against the past decade of Republican gains in state legislatures and statewide offices.

With political backing from former President Barack Obama, Holder said the group plans

to spend $30 million during the 2018 campaign cycle.

Despite his coy response to the question of a presidential run, it's difficult to see

how Holder might translate his legal career, into a traditional resume for a presidential

candidate.

In addition to a large body of government trial work that would likely provide fodder

for his would-be opponents, Holder also worked in private practice for nearly a decade, representing

corporate giants such as Merck and the National Football League.

Still, if Holder decides not to run for president, there could be other political offices he

might consider.

As a native New Yorker, Holder could be a formidable candidate for a Senate seat in

the state, should one of New York's current senators, Kirsten Gillibrand, decide to run

for president.

One thing Holder has working in his favor, politically, is his career in law enforcement,

on display Wednesday as he defended the FBI, which has come under attack recently from

President Donald Trump.

"I would hope that the president would rethink the way in which he has attacked career people

at the FBI, career people in the Justice Department, and career people in our intelligence community,"

Holder said.

Holder also defended Trump's attorney general, Jeff Sessions, suggesting the president ought

to treat his top law enforcement officer with more respect.

Trump, he said, should "think about the ways in which he's spoken about his attorney

general."

If Eric Holder actually runs for President, then who will he run against in the DNC?

Will Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders make another attempt?

Will Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer try to take over?

If we recall the 2016 election, then we know that the Democrats didn't have too many

people willing to represent them in the election, however, the Republicans had a lot of candidates.

What does that mean for the Democrat party?

Are people not willing to go the distance and square up against candidates, from the

GOP for the top seat in the White House?

If Holder really runs for President, does he really believe that he has a chance to

win?

If he can barely piece together a coherent slogan, then there might not be a very good

chance for him to win.

He has another year or so to practice, so perhaps he'll have a more catchy slogan

later.

Let's hope he's not using taxpayer money to create a company to make a slogan for him.

That's something he could get for free just by asking people on Facebook!

Something like "Make America Corrupt Again" could work for Holder!
