Is there corruption in Brazil? Are there drugs, violence, theft, corruption? This is

something we need to talk about. I get a ton of comments that are like, you guys

are crazy, go back to your country, Brazil is terrible, Brazil is horrible. Why would you

ever move here. I got a comment last week on our Walmart video that was the

last straw. I was like, this question needs to be addressed and we need to

explain ourselves. We came here for a few different reasons. First we wanted to

experience culture. Something very different and exciting and colorful and

flavorful. So we chose Salvador because of that reason. We wanted to expose our

children to diversity so that they have the opportunity to learn and grow and

hopefully change and help people. We also wanted them to be bilingual. I want to be

bilingual. We are all studying Portuguese. It's a beautiful language and we are

really excited to learn it. But we also came here to start a business. We will be

opening up a trampoline park in Salvador and we're so excited. We're just a few

months away from opening our doors. we came because we know the Brazilians

like to party and we came to have fun with them! I read every single comment.

I take the time to put them in the translator. Translate it to English, read

it, respond, translate that back to Portuguese. So that I can communicate

with the Brazilians and everyone who's watching our channel. It's really

important to me and I love to engage with you guys. So this Brazilian left

this comment on my video and it says: My god what drives someone to make the most

foolish decision that can be made. This family should have more responsibility

for these poor children, born in a developed country, in the land full of

opportunities. Now they have to grow up in the worst place on the face of the

earth. In a place that kills 10 times more than the war of Syria. Without education,

without health, without opportunities. Listen, the United States of America is

not perfect. There are drugs, corruption, struggle, poverty. All those things are

there too. We came here to provide a wonderful experience for

our children and I believe in the Brazilians. So this same person leaves

another comment and goes on to say: Have these parents watched the news for one day

here in Brazil? Homicides, pedophiles, rapists, drug dealers, drug addicts,

militiamen, corruption, scammers, all in great numbers ready to attack your

family. Go back to your land or go live in a country like Australia or

Switzerland. I hope nothing bad happens to you. I will put this family in my

prayers. Well the only thing I can say to that is, thank you for your prayers. We

will take them. I really think that you should have more faith in your

country and more faith in the people that live here. They think we're totally

crazy and the answer is yes! We are we are completely crazy, but here's why. We

want to offer so much more to our children. We know the United States is a

great place to live. Sure. We were comfortable there. It was

easy there but easy doesn't make you grow. Easy doesn't change you, easy

doesn't provide learning opportunities to grow and change and to help other

people. We want to show our kids that people live differently all over the

world. Let me explain a few things to you.

We are an American family from the United States. We have 5 children

and we sold our house our cars and everything we owned to come to Brazil.

We moved here 7 months ago and we plan to stay for at least 5 years.

We got permanent visas. Which was not easy to do! So if we love it, We'll stay

forever. We're leaving that open. You never know. I know that picking up and

moving our family to a new country to start completely over is crazy. But I

will tell you it has been the best experience of my life. I cried the

other day because my children were translating for me at the swimming pool.

They're learning another language. That is so beautiful and

that will serve them the rest of their lives. Also we have not had one single

problem here. We have not been robbed attacked, mugged, nothing not even one

little incident. We have been completely safe, comfortable and happy the entire

time Let me ask you a couple questions. Please comment because I really do

want to know what you think. If you had the opportunity to live in a new country

and learn a new language would you do it? Would you take your kids? How do you

think that experience would change your life? We are not sitting around. We are

getting out and experiencing everything the city has to offer. But I'm not naive.

I see problems and issues on the streets. I see it all the time but I choose to

focus on the positive. I choose to see the best things about Brazil because

that's all I can do. So to my friends in the United States, I say:

Get down here, quit being afraid of what you don't know! And come experience this

beautiful, tropical paradise that is Brazil! And to my Brazilian brothers and

sisters. I say, I love you, I beleive in you. I believe that if you work hard and

educate yourself, you can live the best life. You can live a wonderful life here

in Brazil or live anywhere in the world you want. If you work hard and apply

yourself. I don't care who you are, where you were born, who your president is. If

there's corruptions, issues and problems in your country or not. If you

want a better life, You can make that choice. You can do everything in your

own power to create the life that you love. Live wherever you choose and

live however you choose. You have to put in the work and make the choice though

and you can do it. We love Brazil so much! We have had the

most amazing, incredible, experience so far. We're just getting started

and we're not going anywhere!!

Arizona Sen. John McCain was dealt a tough blow in his ongoing fight with President Donald

Trump.

The president has been silent on Sen. McCain since the elder statesman has been on his

deathbed with a rare form of brain cancer.

But that did not stop a supporter of both the senator and the president from calling

out McCain, on his wish to keep President Trump from his funeral.

Retiring Republican Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah told Politico that he wants Sen. McCain

to invite President Trump to his funeral.

The 84-year-old senator said that he finds it "ridiculous" that Sen. McCain wants

to carry his grudge against the president to his grave.

"I think it's ridiculous," Sen. Hatch said.

"Well, he's the President of the United States, and he's a very good man.

But it's up to [McCain].

I think John should have his own wishes fulfilled with regard to who attends the funeral."

Hatch also said that he does not think that McCain will return to the Senate.

"That's what I've been told," Hatch said.

"I don't know.

I hope he does, I hope he can."

After the Politico story ran, Sen. Hatch reversed course and said, via a spokesman, that he

"spoke out of turn about Senator McCain's status," spokesman Matt Whitlock said.

"He's been pleased to hear reports that Senator McCain is in good spirits, and hopes

to see him back in Washington soon."

But the truth is that Sen. McCain's inner circle is making his funeral arrangements

because his health is deteriorating quickly, The Daily Mail reported.

Meghan McCain, who is the senator's daughter and a co-host of ABC's "The View," said

on Twitter on Friday that she was headed home to Arizona to be with her family.

Meghan has been absent from "The View" for more than a week as she deals with her

father's health.

"Thank you all again for your prayers, patience, understanding, and compassion during this

time.

It means the world to me and my entire family," she wrote.

She added that she will be "going home to Arizona to be with my family will be back

on TheView Tuesday."

On Instagram, she shared a picture of her and her father and said "My father @SenJohnMcCain

is in stable condition – he continues to inspire me every day with his intense grit

and determination.

Thank you to the doctors at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix and to everyone who is praying for

him.

🇺🇸."

In excerpts from his new memoir "The Restless Wave," McCain took some parting shots at

the president.

The excerpts were released days before it was reported that the senator's office had

informed the White House that President Trump was persona non grata at the senator's funeral.

"I'm not sure what to make of President Trump's convictions," he wrote.

"He threatened to deliberately kill the spouses and children of terrorists, implying

that an atrocity of that magnitude would show the world America's toughness."

He also has an issue with the president's stance on refugees.

"The way he speaks about them is appalling, as though welfare or terrorism were the only

purposes they could have in coming to our country," he said.

And McCain is not a fan of the way the president goes after the media.

"His reaction to unflattering news stories, calling them 'fake news' whether they're

credible or not, is copied by autocrats who want to discredit and control a free press,"

he wrote.

He was also angered by the president comparing Russian President Vladimir Putin's killing

of political opponents to that of American politicians when he said, "We have a lot

of killers too."

Sen. McCain said, "It was a shameful thing to say, and so unaware of reality."

The president is wise to not tweet about, or speak about, his issues with Sen. McCain

and the snub from his funeral.

The senator is still a war hero and a man who has served for decades in the Senate.

He was the flag bearer for the Republican Party in the 2008 presidential election.

No good can come from going after a dying man.

It is possible that Sen. McCain is attempting to goad President Trump into striking back,

knowing that anything he says could be used against him by Democrats in 2020 and helping

him be defeated would be a shot at the president from beyond the grave.

But whatever the reason, discretion is the better part of valor in this case.

In addition to that, he abused them physically and verbally.

So much for feminism, huh?

Now, the man announced his resignation.

He'll most likely never return to politics.

Oh, who was he?

Only the Attorney General of New York.

New York state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman resigned on Monday after allegations of physical

abuse by four women were reported in an article in the New Yorker magazine…

In the article published late on Monday, the New Yorker reported that four women who said

they had had romantic relationships or encounters with Schneiderman said they had been subjected

to nonconsensual physical violence…

The two women who were named in the article both called the abuse by Schneiderman "assault,"

the magazine reported.

One of the women said Schneiderman slapped her across the face after she rejected his

advances and that when she told him she wanted to leave, he said, "A lot of women like

it.

They don't always think they like it, but then they do, and they ask for more," according

to the article.

The details of what Schneiderman was up to are truly grotesque.

Apparently, he was a heavy drinker and drug user.

Thanks to his substance abuse, he was even more violent towards women.

One girlfriend was routinely hit and abused.

He liked to call her his "brown slave."

They could only go to bed if he hurt her.

It might be shocking to some.

But for most of us, this is becoming too common.

The men and women who claim to support victims are the worst offenders.

Liberal politicians attack others over sexism and harassment.

Very quickly, we learn they are guilty of the same thing—and often much more.

Perhaps all that feminism isn't very good for relationships.

Maybe, just maybe, traditional values and gender roles are actually good for society!

This also shows you the ugly danger of liberal philosophy.

If you say the "right" things about women and feminism, the media and the left will

give you a pass.

You can preach their dogma for years and nobody will suspect a thing.

All the while, these liberal "white knights" are abusing women, men, and even children.

So, why do we still put up with them?

Why do Americans still tolerate a party full of hypocrites?

Make no mistake, these revelations will keep coming out.

More Democrats will be exposed.

Until they are completely removed from office, that is a fact.

Perhaps we should dump them for good.

The loss of a child is an intensely painful and forever life-altering event that can shake

a parent to the very core of their being, especially if that is an untimely one.

Jill Stephenson lost her son U.S. Army Ranger Benjamin Kopp and she knows all too well what

that pain is.

In 2009, Jill received the worst possible news for a parent with their child deployed

overseas could ever receive.

Her son had been injured, suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.

She remembers her first thought was that he was going to lose the leg.

Jill states – "When I got the call Ben was shot, my heart fell into my stomach.

I was told he was shot in the leg and had undergone surgery and was recovering.

My first thought was that he lost his leg.

However, the injury turned into a series of worst-case scenarios in the eight days that

followed his admittance to Walter Reed Medical Center.

Knopp's body eventually gave out due to the extent of his injuries.

He was just twenty-one years old.

As a means of keeping her son's memory alive and in an effort to help her process her grief

eight years ago, Jill states that she has found a means to cope and to heal through

sharing her son's story of selfless sacrifice.

She states she lives with the memory every day and that will never go away, however,

sharing him with others, what he did, and what he was about, helps her continue to heal.

Through that grieving process and sharing of her son's story, Jill became a part of

TAPS.

TAPS is a program that helps military families with the grieving process when a service member

is in action.

To this day, she still continues her work in advocacy for veterans' issues all across

the country.

She has made at least two trips to Arlington National Cemetery annually since her son's

passing eight years ago.

The visits fall in mid-December for Wreaths Across America and over Memorial Day weekend.

With Memorial Day coming up in just a few weeks the mainstream media is ramping up their

continuous nonstop bashing of President Donald Trump ramping up into high gear.

Many of the mainstream media continue to bash President Trump for his comments about Barack

Obama not calling families of our fallen military.

Many in the media and all over Twitter lost their collective minds accusing President

Trump of lying saying Obama most certainly did call families of fallen military.

In fact, they protested so much the Washington Post did a fact-check…

"From our perusal of news reports and news databases, we could not find any contemporaneous

evidence that Obama spoke about such calls or that the White House announced he had called

families."

WaPo quickly noted Obama had, on several occasions, met with the families of fallen soldiers.

However, this is something that President Trump has also done as well as sending out

letters.

Yet while several members of the administration said they "recalled" such phone calls,

no records were found.

WaPo did, however, find a record of one soldier, Sgt.

Sean Collins

"Still, in early 2011, the family of one fallen soldier, Sgt.

Sean Collins told Fox News they had requested a call from Obama and were told his schedule

was too packed for a conversation."

Meanwhile, Jill states she did not get a phone from the Obamas.

However, what she did get may be infinitely more personal and much more heartfelt.

Jill stated – "I never got a call.

The Obamas never sent these, either."

She then shared a simple, yet powerful and heartfelt letter she received from First Lady

Melania Trump just after Memorial Day in 2017 that touched her deeply.

Dear Ms. Stephenson,

I wish to offer my heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifices you have made and the high

price you and your family have paid to help ensure our freedom.

As a mother, you bear the burden of war in a very personal way.

I want to take a moment, on Gold Star Mother's and Family's Day, to honor you and your

son, Corporal Benjamin Kopp, who laid down his life to protect us, our country, and all

we hold dear.

His sacrifice will never be forgotten.

I hold you close to my heart and keep you in my prayers.

In just a few short paragraphs, Melania Trump demonstrates what grace and class look like

as she extends the compassion of a nation to a grieving family, extending her hand to

thank them personally for all they have done to help keep this nation safe.

There is not much else needs to be said, as the first lady's personalized message to

Jill Stephenson on behalf of her son's ultimate sacrifice speaks volumes.

Over the past four months, Melania's popularity has grown by ten percentage points, from 47

percent to 57 percent.

Though Democrats still have an overall unfavorable opinion of Melania, with 38 percent favorable

and 40 percent unfavorable, the percentage of those in favor jumped 15 points since CNN's

poll at the beginning of the year.

On top of that, Republicans saw a 6 percent uptick in popularity.

This comes after Michelle claimed that she is America's "forever First Lady" during

a Pennsylvania speech last Wednesday.

"I know that you are me, and if I can be standing here as your forever First Lady,

then you can do anything you put your mind to.

So remember this moment when you're out there," Michelle said.

Hollywood star James Woods immediately shut her down for this on Twitter.

"With all due respect you aren't our 'forever First Lady.'

"beyond gender" and "to dream beyond limitations" with how our society is today?

Michelle mused for a minute and decided this would be the Trump bashing portion of the

presentation.

Michelle Obama said, "Sorry, in light of this last election, I'm concerned about

us as women and how we think.

And what is really going on.

What is going on in our heads where we let that happen, you know?"

She continued, "When the most qualified person running was a woman, and look what

we did instead, I mean that says something about where we are.

Forget everybody else.

That's what we have to explore, because if we as women are still suspicious of one

another, if we still have this crazy, crazy bar for each other that we don't have for

men."

Michelle finished with, "If we are still doing that today.

If we're not comfortable with the notion that a woman could be our president compared

to … what, then we have to have those conversations with ourselves as women."

Hilarious, isn't she?

According to Michelle, "how did we [women] let that happen" translates into any women

who voted for Trump was stupid.

Well, Michelle wasn't in charge of the women who voted for Trump, thank God, and she didn't

"let anything happen."

She's not that powerful.

Actor James Woods thought so too, tweeting to Ms. Obama, "You didn't 'let' anything

happen.

The citizens of the United States, through the power of the Constitution, duly elected

a President of their choice.

May come as a shock to you, madam, but the People speak in America.

We don't do what you 'let' us do."

In fact, Michelle Obama's comment, bashing women who voted for Trump as stupid, might

be her reality, but it's not accurate at all.

It's not what really happened.

Smart women weren't duped to vote for a gender.

We did our homework and learned Hillary Clinton wasn't on our side as women, she was an

opportunist who used her political position to commit crimes.

The former first lady's timing was perfect in bashing women who voted for Trump.

Our first lady will be front and center in the Rose Garden on Monday as she expands her

role.

This flies in the face of Michelle Obama's recent comments and makes her look like a

fool.

CNN reports, "Melania Trump will announce her eagerly awaited formal platform Monday

during a Rose Garden event, nearly 16 months into her tenure as first lady.

While Trump has since September of last year said she plans to focus her efforts on the

well-being of children, she had yet to define what exactly that means, instead delving into

a broad range of topics under a wide umbrella of issues."

They add, "That changes with a planned Rose Garden announcement, her first speech from

that historic location on the West Wing side of the White House, feet from the Oval Office."

Former First Lady Michelle Obama did not announce her "Let's Move" campaign until February

2010, 11 months into her tenure in the position, according to CNN.

So for all the naysayers who constantly complain Melania isn't "doing anything," maybe

it's time they laid off the first lady.

In fact, Melania had been more of a traditional first lady, which makes the leftist go nuts.

They were silent after she pulled off the first White House State Dinner without an

event planner, doing something no recent first lady has ever done.

It all comes down to your values.

This host at the Women's Summit said to Michelle, "A girl who just dreams about

her wedding is a sad thing we need to change."

Ms. Obama agreed.

To those at that Women's Summit, a young girl wanting a family and being a stay at

home mom is obscene.

That is why we love Melania Trump.

She has been a successful businesswoman in her own right, but she chose to be "just

a mom," after she had her son Barron.

Raising a family is probably the most important job in the world, and traditional values should

never go out

of style.

President Donald Trump suggested Saturday that a government shutdown might be needed

to secure his proposed wall for the U.S.-Mexico border, ABC News reported.

What happened?

"We're going to get the wall, even if we have to think about closing up the country

for a little while," Trump said during a tax reform roundtable meeting in Cleveland

on Saturday.

"We're going to get the wall.

We have no choice."

Trump did not specify what he meant by "closing up the country," according to the report.

But he told supporters last month that there could be an autumn shutdown if Congress fails

to meet his funding demands on border security.

The president wrote on Twitter this week that the border is "under siege," adding: "Congress

must act now to change our weak and ineffective immigration laws.

Must build a Wall.

Mexico, which has a massive crime problem, is doing little to help!"

One week ago, Trump also suggested a shutdown over the border wall.

His comment came in reference to a "caravan" of migrants seeking asylum in the U.S.

"I really thought they'd be much better to us and tougher on the caravan.

Didn't work out that way," Trump said in the report.

"They allow these people to come up through Mexico and come into our country."

The migrants entered the U.S. several days ago and their requests for asylum are under

consideration.

The president also used the event as an opportunity to support Rep. Jim Renacci (R-Ohio), who

is running for U.S. Senate.

He was seated alongside Trump on the stage.

Trump said Renacci is "doing really great" and "has my full support," the report

stated.

"We need your vote.

We need your help, so go out and help Jim," Trump said.

Anything else? Trump also participated in an RNC fundraiser

in Cleveland, where he spoke to 250 people and helped raise $3 million, ABC News reported.

Democrats unhappy with President Trump have touted a surge in support which they say will

lead to them flipping the House in November.

While that "surge" has waned in recent months, Democrats are still convinced that

those upset with how the president handles issues will sweep them to victory.

A new poll just out may put a damper on their hopes, though.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll released early today shows that millennials who would usually vote

Democrat, are now leaning Republican, and they're leaning that way because of Trump's

& the Republicans' handling of the economy & the tax cuts.

That appears to be changing, though, at least for the upcoming election.

Yahoo News reports:

"Enthusiasm for the Democratic Party is waning among millennials as its candidates

head into the crucial midterm congressional elections, according to the Reuters/Ipsos

national opinion poll.

The online survey of more than 16,000 registered voters ages 18 to 34 shows their support for

Democrats over Republicans for Congress slipped by about 9 percentage points over the past

two years, to 46 percent overall.

And they increasingly say the Republican Party is a better steward of the economy.

Although nearly two of three young voters polled said they do not like Republican President

Donald Trump, their distaste for him does not necessarily extend to all Republicans

or translate directly into votes for Democratic congressional candidates.

That presents a potential problem for Democrats who have come to count on millennials as a

core constituency – and will need all the loyalty they can get to achieve a net gain

of 23 seats to capture control of the U.S. House of Representatives in November.

Young voters represent an opportunity and a risk for both parties, said Donald Green,

a political science professor at Columbia University in New York City.

"They're not as wedded to one party," Green said.

"They're easier to convince than, say, your 50- or 60-year-olds who don't really

change their minds very often."

Terry Hood, 34, an African-American who works at a Dollar General store in Baton Rouge,

Louisiana and took this year's poll, said he voted for Democrat Hillary Clinton in the

2016 presidential election.

But he will consider a Republican for Congress because he believes the party is making it

easier to find jobs and he applauds the recent Republican-led tax cut.

"It sounds strange to me to say this about the Republicans, but they're helping with

even the small things," Hood said in a phone interview.

"They're taking less taxes out of my paycheck.

I notice that."

The Reuters/Ipsos poll surveyed young voters during the first three months of this year

and the same period in 2016.

Only 28 percent of those polled expressed overt support for Republicans in the 2018

poll – about the same percentage as two years earlier.

But that does not mean the rest will turn out to back Democrats, the survey showed.

A growing share of voters between ages 18 and 34 years old said they were undecided,

would support a third-party candidate or not vote at all.

The shift away from Democrats was more pronounced among white millennials – who accounted

for two-thirds of all votes cast in that age group in 2016.

Two years ago, young white people favored Democrats over Republicans for Congress by

a margin of 47 to 33 percent; that gap vanished by this year, with 39 percent supporting each

party.

The shift was especially dramatic among young white men, who two years ago favored Democrats

but now say they favor Republicans over Democrats by a margin of 46 to 37 percent, the Reuters/Ipsos

poll showed.

Ashley Reed, a white single mother of three in New Hampshire, said a teenage fascination

with Democrat Barack Obama led her to support his presidency in 2008.

But her politics evolved with her personal life.

Reed, now 28, grew more supportive of g*n rights, for instance, while married to her

now ex-husband, a U.S. Navy technician.

She lost faith in social welfare programs she came to believe were misused.

She opposed abortion after having children.

Reed plans to vote for a Republican for Congress this year.

"As I got older, I felt that I could be my own voice," she said last month in Concord,

New Hampshire.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll was conducted online in English throughout the United States.

It gathered about 65,000 responses in all during the first three months of 2018 and

2016, including 16,000 registered voters between the ages of 18 and 34 and nearly 11,000 registered

white millennial voters."

President Trump has been saying we need more Republicans in the House & Senate.

Perhaps with the help of millennials, we'll get just that.
