A spot in the 2018 IIHF World Championship final is on the line Saturday, as the United States and Sweden meet in an anticipated semifinal matchup.

For much of this tournament, Sweden and the United States have looked like the two best teams.

The Swedes rolled through group play as the only team in the tournament without a loss (six wins, one overtime win), while the Americans ultimately finished second in Group B after a loss to Finland but still finished with a plus-23 goal differential.

No game this far into the tournament needs hyping, but this will be a compelling battle of strengths.

During group play, Team USA led all teams with 39 goals scored and added another three in an entertaining 3-2 win over the Czech Republic in the quarterfinals.

Patrick Kane, who scored two including the game-winner against the Czechs, leads the tournament with 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists), while Cam Atkinson is sixth with 11 points (seven goals, four assists), and Johnny Gaudreau (one goal, eight assists), defender Charlie McAvoy (three goals, five assists), Dylan Larkin (three goals, five assists), Chris Kreider (two goals, six assists) and Alex Debrincat (one goal, seven assists) have all made big contributions, as well.

On the flip side, Sweden allowed just nine goals during group play, also the best mark in the tournament.

They've done despite facing just the fourth-fewest shots on goal (186), a testament to how good Magnus Hellberg and Anders Nilsson have been in between the posts.

The former has a save percentage of 93.8 (75 saves on 80 shots), while Nilsson, who has played five of the last six games and was in goal for the 3-2 quarterfinal win over Latvia, is second in the tournament in save percentage at 94.34 (100 saves on 106 shots) and first in goals allowed per game at 1.20.

Going further into the strength vs.

strength aspect, the United States' 14 power-play goals is by far the most in the tournament, as is their 40 percent PP efficiency, while Sweden has killed off penalties 23 out of 27 times, a success rate of 85.19 percent.

Whoever wins in that area will have a good chance of moving on to the tournament's ultimate gate.

For Sweden, they're looking to get back to the final after winning gold in 2017, while the Americans, who took bronze in both 2013 and '15, haven't been to a World Championships final since they won in 1960.

Two very different histories, but two very strong teams and one potentially very entertaining matchup.

Millions of Americans are on food stamps thanks to the previously failed administrations.

Barack Obama will go down in history as the biggest welfare president of all time.

During Obama's reign of terror, food stamp claims rose 70 percent.

This means 47.6 MILLION Americans were on food stamps after either long miserable years

of the Obama presidency putting Barack Obama as the "Food Stamp President".

It's not racist when it's true.

Facts seem to slip the minds of liberals.The Farm Bill known as Resolution 2, would actually

make able-bodied adults ranging from 18-59 to work a minimum of twenty hours a week in

order to keep receiving Food Stamps.

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) provides food to people who can't afford

it, or are unable to work.

These new requirements would put Americans back to work, and get them off welfare for

good.

This would be another promise the President will keep.

1.2 MILLION Americans would discontinue using SNAP claims the CBO because they would be

able to work, and provide for their families.This is a concept that Barack Obama and the rest

of the liberal communists couldn't seem to get inline with.

The constant push of welfare is what we call redistribution of wealth where we take from

the rich and give to the those who really don't need the money.

I'm not saying there aren't people out there that actually need the help, but many

are just lazy, and could actually get off their butts and go to work.You will see millions

of Democrats change their voter registration to vote Republican after this happens.

The political shift will take place because people will finally start realizing that Republicans

are the only ones who offer REAL solutions to America's problems while Democrats inflate

ideas that only hurt America in the long run, and fits the bill to our next few generations.

An additional 400,000 could drop off the food stamp rolls over ten years because of a provision

in the bill that would close a loophole allowing individuals to qualify for food stamps without

meeting an "asset test," according to the CBO estimate.

But the number of people getting off food stamps could be more than what the CBO or

the House bill is projecting, according to House Agriculture Committee spokeswoman Rachel

Millard.

"They don't distinguish in their analysis who will come off due to the fact they have

found employment providing them enough money to no longer need SNAP, or those who have

chosen to remove themselves from the program due to the fact they haven't fulfilled the

work requirement, which can also be fulfilled through training," Millard told Breitbart

News Wednesday evening.

Millard added that the provision in the House bill causing 400,000 of the 1.6 million Americans

estimated to drop their SNAP benefits would close a loophole used under the Obama administration

called Broad Base Categorical Eligibility (BBCE).

Under BBCE, American households were eligible to receive SNAP benefits if they were authorized

to receive "a TANF-funded brochure" or "hotline number" without qualifying for

SNAP's income and asset thresholds.

However, the farm bill would still allow those who meet the "asset test" to receive benefits.The

idea of reforming the food stamp program has remained popular with the American public.

A Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) survey published in April revealed that

more than 82 percent of Americans support the idea of food stamp recipients having to

meet work requirements.

The survey stated that 94 percent of Republicans and 71 percent of Democrats are in favor of

work requirements.

Some House Democrats, however, say the farm bill's cuts to SNAP are "unjust": –Breitbart

We should strengthen and #ProtectSNAP" screams socialism.

To "Strengthen" SNAP would actually mean raising taxes or taking away tax dollars from

one program to fund it.

That's unjust if you ask me.

This is the solution Democrats offer their voter base.

They promise them all these free programs in order to get their votes.

I've said in many articles before that Democrats known the only way they will be able to stay

in power is to pander to the people that want free stuff and keep promising more free stuff.

What they can't seem to understand is nothing is free.

Someone somewhere is paying for it.

That's not freedom, that's tyranny.The Farm Bill has been defeated

A sweeping farm bill failed in the House on Friday in a blow to GOP leaders who were unable

to placate conservative lawmakers demanding commitments on immigration.

The House leadership put the bill on the floor gambling it would pass despite unanimous Democratic

opposition.

They negotiated with members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus up to the last minutes.

But their gamble failed.

The vote was 213 to 198, with 30 Republicans joined 183 Democrats in defeating the bill.The

outcome exposed what is becoming an all-out war within the House GOP over immigration.

The bill will come up again, though.

The current bill expires in September & the Senate is working on a new one.

Trump will eventually get his way & a new day will dawn in America.

CONFIRMED: John Kerry Committed Treason Should Trump Throw Him in Jail?

The Iranian nuclear deal withdrawal has been causing problems all throughout the nation,

and the international arena.

While most Americans are happy we are leaving this disaster of an agreement some of our

allies have maintained, they will remain in the agreement.

And it does not help that former Secretary of State John Kerry tried interfering, by

meeting with Iranian officials just days before the withdrawal was announced.

The Conservative Post reported,

"Imagine if a former Bush Admin official had done something like this during Obama's

presidency?

It has now been confirmed that former Secretary of State John Kerry went behind the Trump

Administration's back, and negotiated over the Obama brokered Iran nuclear deal just

last month.

President Trump was expected to pull America out of the Iran deal, which he called one

of the worst he'd ever seen, as his own self-imposed deadline of May 12 approached.

Kerry, one of the chief architects behind the deal, naturally sees this as an assault

on his legacy.

What he apparently fails to understand is that he's no longer secretary of state,

and to negotiate on behalf of the United States as though he were is tantamount to treason,

or, at the very least, criminal misrepresentation.

After all, I, as a private citizen, can't just hop over to Canada and start negotiating

with their government on behalf of the White House.

It should go without saying that the Iranians miss Barack Obama and John Kerry, and so had

no problem skirting the Trump Administration on this matter.

"We don't see the US just as Mr. Trump; the United States is not just the current

ruling administration, and there are many figures who have different views on international

and regional issues," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi."

This is nothing less than shadow diplomacy.

John Kerry was caught through photographic evidence meeting with Iranian diplomats to

try, and save the former Administrations disastrous deal.

He met with Foreign Minister Javad Zarif in New York City as well as French President

Emmanuel Macron, and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

These meetings took place after Israeli Prime Minister announced to the United States, that

Iran was revealed to be not abiding by the terms of the nuclear deal.

The Blaze reported,

"Jason Osborne, who is a former senior adviser to President Donald Trump's campaign, tweeted

a photo of Kerry leaving a meeting at a fancy restaurant in Paris on Saturday.

According to Osborne, whose friend was apparently sitting next to Kerry, the former secretary

of state was meeting with three Iranians.

The Iranians reportedly had a security detail and left the restaurant in diplomatic vehicles.

At the end of his tweet, Osborne questioned if Kerry is "FARA registered," a reference

to the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

FARA requires U.S. residents and businesses working in the interest of foreign powers

to register with the federal government as "foreign agents."

The answer to Osborne's question is unknown, and it's unclear if Kerry would need to

register given he is a former secretary of state.

It's also not clear what Kerry was discussing with the Iranians.

After all, Trump ended the Iranian nuclear deal this week.

Still, there were questions last week over whether Kerry violated the Logan Act an 18th

century law that prohibits U.S. citizens from engaging in discussions, with foreign governments

"with intent to influence the measures, or conduct of any foreign government" or

"to defeat the measures of the United States", when he met with the diplomats.

Others have amounted Kerry's actions to "collusion," a charge Democrats routinely

levy at Trump."

The nuclear deal was flawed in a multitude of different ways.

It did not explicitly prohibit Iran from building nuclear weapons, despite the fact that they

are the world's leading state sponsor of terror.

Instead, it allowed them to continue to maintain their current nuclear infrastructure.

Moreover, it did not cut them off by the purse strings.

What it did was ease economic sanctions, and allow them to maintain the funds they needed

to continue their ballistic missile program.

Whether John Kerry is charged with any crime or not what he did was very shady, and gives

off the appearance of collusion and illegal activity.

The Obama administration is no longer in power and those who belonged to the administration

need to accept it.

Their time has come, it has passed, and it is over.

Move on.

Because what they are doing is not in the best interests of the United States
