Trump Deports MAJOR Celebrity – Shows That Nobody Is Above The Law

Before he took office, Donald Trump promised that he would crackdown on illegal immigration

like no other president had before.

Now, he is following through on this promise in a huge way..

Western Journal reported that Trump is now letting famous illegal immigrants know that

their fame will not allow them to be above the laws of this country.

It has just been reported that Ravidath Ragbir and Jean Montrevil, both prominent figures

within the pro-illegal immigration group New Sanctuary Coalition of New York City, were

both just deported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement after years of being allowed to

stay in the country at the discretion of federal officials.

These two were allowed to remain in the United States even though they had both committed

serious crimes.

Ragbir had come to the U.S. legally from Trinidad and Tobago in 1991, but he was convicted of

wire fraud in 2000.

Though he received a deportation order in 2006, he was granted a reprieve by ICE officials

in 2011 that extended until this past April.

It was then that Ragbir was told his reprieve would not be extended and that he would be

deported.

Montrevil had come to the U.S. back in 1986 and had served time on a drug possession charge.

He was in the process of appealing a deportation order when he was taken into custody.

His lawyer told reporters that his client "believed that he had reached an understanding

with ICE officials."

"It seems really clear to us that this is an escalation of retaliation, not just against

individual rights leaders, but against the right of the movement to exist," said Mary

Small, policy director for immigrant rights activist group Detention Watch Network.

We're glad to see that Trump is sending the message that nobody is above his immigration

laws.

PRICELESS!

Federal Lawsuit Filed To Stop The Obama Presidential Center They Tried To Hide Everything!

We are now getting reports that a Chicago nonprofit organization has filed a federal

lawsuit, this week in an attempt to put a stop to the Obama Presidential Center in Jackson

Park.

And best of all, the lawsuit alleges that organizers of this center are involved in

a "bait and switch" operation, by shifting the purpose of the center away from being

a presidential library.

The Chicago Tribune reported that the deal was expected to involve the Park District

selling the land, at a nominal price along with the city entering into a long-term lease

with the Obama Foundation.

But according to this lawsuit, such a transaction would violate state law by legitimizing an

illegal land grab.

The Obamas are accused by the plaintiffs of changing the original plans for the Jackson

Park site, which was supposed to be home to a national presidential library, which would

house historic documents and archives from President Obama's presidency, under the

supervision of the National Archives and Records Administration.

Yesterday the city, of course, released a statement regarding the lawsuit saying it

would thwart economic progress on Chicago's South Side.

"The Obama Presidential Center is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to invest hundreds of millions

of dollars, that will create good jobs on the South Side, bring our communities together

and honor the legacy of Chicago's favorite son and daughter.

While some choose to stand in the way of progress for the South Side, we are focused on making

progress in every community in Chicago,"

Juanita Irizarry, executive director of Friends of the Parks released a statement of their

own.

"Friends of the Parks has always said that we welcome the Obama Presidential Center to

Chicago's South Side, but disagree with the choice to locate it on public parkland

rather, than vacant land across the street from Washington Park.

While we are not involved with this lawsuit in any way, it is an indication of the fact

the Friends of the Parks is not alone, in our concern about Chicago's parks being

seen as sites for real estate development."

The Chicago Planning Commission is scheduled to meet this Thursday, in order to discuss

changes to the boundaries of the Obama Presidential Center.

As well as the long-term grounds lease for the Obama Foundation.

The 19 acre center is set to open in 2021.

I'm guessing that by the way President Trump is erasing each and every one of Obama's

so-called "accomplishments" they must be desperate to make the "Obama Center"

stand out.

Just like Obama, all show and no substance.

Let's wait and see how long it takes the powers that be to start calling this lawsuit

"racist."

Here is more on this via The Chicago Tribune:

A federal lawsuit filed by a Chicago nonprofit in an attempt to block the Obama Presidential

Center from being built in Jackson Park accuses organizers of pulling an "institutional

bait and switch" by shifting the center's purpose away from being a true presidential

library.

Protect Our Parks Inc. also claims in its lawsuit, which was filed in U.S. District

Court on Monday, that the Chicago Park District and the City of Chicago don't have the authority

to transfer public parkland to nongovernmental entity such as the Obama Foundation.

It has long been expected that the Park District would sell the land to the city for a nominal

amount and the city would enter into a long-term lease with the Obama Foundation.

The lawsuit, which also names three Chicago-area residents as plaintiffs, argues that such

a maneuver would violate state law and represents "a short con shell game, a corrupt scheme

to deceive and seemingly legitimize an illegal land grab."

"The City and Park District clearly realize and fully understand that this established

law precludes the Park District from arbitrarily transferring possession, use and control of

this dedicated 'open, clear and free' public parkland in Jackson Park to a private

nongovernmental … entity's self-determined use," the complaint says.

The plaintiffs accuse the Obamas of committing an about-face on original plans for the Jackson

Park site to be home to a national presidential library that would hold historic documents

and archives from Barack Obama's presidency under the National Archives and Records Administration's

supervision.

In a statement released Monday, the city framed the lawsuit as a roadblock to economic progress

for the South Side.

"The Obama Presidential Center is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to invest hundreds of millions

of dollars that will create good jobs on the South Side, bring our communities together

and honor the legacy of Chicago's favorite son and daughter.

While some choose to stand in the way of progress for the South Side, we are focused on making

progress in every community in Chicago," the statement read.

Protect Our Parks is not as well known as Chicago-based Friends of the Parks, which

filed a federal lawsuit as part of a successful effort to block a proposal to put the Lucas

Museum of Narrative Art along the lakefront south of Soldier Field.

Friends of the Parks has opted against taking action against the Obama center for legal

and financial reasons, but also because of the political challenge of taking on Obama

in the town where he built his career.

"Friends of the Parks has always said that we welcome the Obama Presidential Center to

Chicago's South Side but disagree with the choice to locate it on public parkland rather

than vacant land across the street from Washington Park," Juanita Irizarry, executive director

of Friends of the Parks, said in a statement Monday.

"While we are not involved with this lawsuit in any way, it is an indication of the fact

the Friends of the Parks is not alone in our concern about Chicago's parks being seen

as sites for real estate development."

The litigation comes ahead of a Thursday Chicago Plan Commission meeting to discuss modifications

to the boundaries of the Obama Presidential Center, in addition to the long-term grounds

lease for the Obama Foundation to begin construction.

The center, which has been slated for a 19-acre plot on the western edge of Jackson Park,

is expected to open in 2021."
