BREAKING News Out Of California…

It's NOT GOOD California has rejected the federal government's

initial plans for National Guard troops to the border because the work is considered

too closely tied to immigration enforcement, two U.S. officials told The Associated Press,

Breitbart reports.

California will send 400 National Guard soldiers to the Southern Border, per Gov. Jerry Brown,

however, he demands "his" soldiers will not lift a single finger in aid and support

at the border.

The state informed federal officials it will not allow its troops to fix and repair vehicles,

operate remotely-controlled surveillance cameras to report suspicious activity to the Border

Patrol, operate radios and provide "mission support," which can include clerical work,

buying gas and handling payroll, according to officials.

Democratic Jerry Brown conditioned his support by demanding that California's National

Guard soldiers would have nothing to do with immigration enforcement or aiding the Border

Patrol.

He was not specific about jobs his troops would or would not perform or how he would

distinguish between immigration-related work and going after criminal gangs and drug and

gun smugglers.

"California National Guard spokesman Lt. Col. Thomas Keegan said Monday that the state

was awaiting a formal response from the administration and had no additional details beyond the governor's

proposed agreement released last week that includes a ban on immigration enforcement."

Just so we are clear, Gov. Brown will send 400 California National Guard soldiers to

the southern border.

However, they cannot do anything to help Border Patrol as well as have anything to do with

any illegal activity on the border.

National Security and securing our borders means nothing to Jerry Brown and the lunatic

lefty's in California, it is a self-proclaimed Sanctuary State after all.

Brown has lost his damn mind if he thinks soldiers will stand idle and not provide their

brothers help on the border.

To demand such an act is an act of a coward and a traitor to ones nation, one can only

hope that President Trump and Mattis will finally have enough of the buttercup Brown

and his crazy followers.

When those 400 arrive, they need to be reminded of their oaths and soldier up, as every soldier

knows we serve for each other.

everyone now and will become even more important

in the future as the internet of things grows.

This challenge is now beyond security.

We need design for security.

- Nearly everyday we hear about a new cyber attack

impacting businesses and often thousands of individuals.

To exacerb6ate the situation we have a

well documented cyber security talent shortage.

It is time for us to accelerate the

availability of security minded professionals

that can meet this challenge.

- Cyber security is a very complex domain,

and it warrants systems thinking,

understanding how this network of

interconnected nodes with relationships

between them, how they affect each other.

Systems thinking enables at least a doorway

for people who are used to approaching it

from a singular perspective, to start understanding

the implications of the other nodes in the network.

- [Narrator] Following this systems approach

Purdue and Intel are offering a badge certification

program for students and industry professionals.

- This digital badge online is a remarkable

collaboration between Intel

and Purdue's Industrial Engineering.

The topic is important and timely,

the approach is refreshing and broad,

and the collaboration between industry and university

is innovative in the future of online education.

- [Narrator] Four courses will be offered

starting August 2018 to Purdue and

other university undergraduates

and industry professionals.

Purdue and Intel plan to expand this program

into a certification program to train

engineers and others in designing security

to meet current and future demands.

- If you look at how students are learning

design right now, what they're learning

is going to carry them through life.

And so these design habits are really

critical to create now, especially with security.

Because security is going to become more relevant

even as we move forward.

As the world becomes more connected,

security vulnerabilities become more

pervasive and impactful in almost all walks of life.

- As a Fortune 50 employer, Intel can clearly see

that supply of properly trained security professionals

isn't meeting demand.

The Design For Security Badge Program

is intended to close that gap.

Students going through this program will

have internship opportunities at Intel,

and with other industry participants.
