USA news on Youtube Apr 23 2018

Las Vegas, Nevada, one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas

in the United States, has seen its population expand from 273,000 in

1972 to 2.2 million in 2017.

Urban development appears as green and purple in this series of

Landsat images. Since land covered by man made asphalt, concrete, and

rooftops , doesn't let rain soak into the ground, Landsat-based

mapping is valuable to show how increased water runoff affects

groundwater quality, as well as to show the pressure on resources

caused by rapidly increasing populations.

Also visible in the 2018 image is

the Nevada Solar One farm. The project covers 400 acres and

generates 64 megawatts of power for 14,000 homes.

Eric Shooting a Recurve Bow with a Mouthtab - Duration: 3:03.

I've got my bow set up now, ready to shoot.

One of the first things I want to show you is my rest.

Because I'm shooting with a mouthtab, when my arrows come out of the bow, they don't

have a side to side archer's paradox like most recurve shooters.

Mine is a very vertical archer's paradox, which is hard to deal with when tuning.

So if you can see that rest right here, I have a steel blade on there so that my arrow

actually rests on top of the blade.

That's pretty much the same for my indoor arrows and my outdoor arrows.

Two things that are different though are my sight placement and my mouthtab placement.

In all cases, both indoors and outdoors, your sight is going to be very low.

It's hard to get your arrow to the distance that you need it to because of where you anchor.

By using a mouthtab, the back of your arrow is going to be much higher up closer to your

mouth, which means that your sight now has to be lower in order for you to reach the

proper distance.

So right now, for indoors my arrow goes underneath my sight pin and has plenty of clearance,

but it is pretty low.

When I shoot outdoors, I actually have to extend my sight almost all the way out and

then I have to do something very extreme; I have to actually move my sight pin down

almost all the way to the bottom of my sight.

At this location right here, the arrow actually sits above my sight pin.

You want to make sure that you definitely have enough clearance there before you start

shooting it this way.

What this does, it allows me at full draw to be able to aim high enough to get my arrow

to 70 meters, which is my competitive distance.

That's one of the biggest challenges I've faced as a recurve archer using a mouthtab,

is getting my arrow to the proper distance.

Right now, my mouthtab is set up for indoors, and I have it set up underneath my nocking

point.

Indoors, because I don't need that sight distance as much, I'm only shooting 20 yards

or 18 meters, I can actually put my mouthtab underneath the arrow, which gives me a much

better tune and allows me to get my arrow to fly and come out a lot straighter.

Okay we've got our bow all set up, we've got our mouthtab put in place, and I'm going

to demonstrate the final step, which is actually shooting the bow.

The first thing that I'm going to do before I shoot is make sure my mouthtab is positioned

and facing back towards me, and then it's just a matter of lifting the bow up and bringing

the mouthtab to my mouth.

When I do that, I'm going to put the mouthtab in my mouth, on, for me, it's my right side,

and I'm going to use my right molars along the side and the back of my mouth.

Once I bite down on the mouthtab, I'll pull back, get set and aim, and when I'm ready

I'm going to open my mouth and release the mouthtab.

Jeff Shooting a Compound Bow with a Shoulder Strap Release - Duration: 2:13.

Today we're going to discuss another alternative method to only using one arm to shoot a bow.

Shooting with a shoulder strap release, couple of things you're going to need: one, is

a wrist strap release.

You want to find a release that has a pretty prominent trigger sticking out there.

If it was a shorter trigger then you'd have a harder time getting your chin on it.

So, if you get something with a little bit of length to it, it'll be a whole lot easier

to make the release happen when you want it to.

So, we have a wrist strap release, take our belt, run it through your wrist strap, bring

it out and we're going to have it go over one side.

I want to kind of cross it, so I can make a figure eight, this will go back behind the

head and now I've got a pretty firm set position that this release is going to stay.

If we have our belt too tight, we're not going to have any movement in our shoulders,

so it's going to be harder to get in position when we're trying to nock the arrow, put

the release on the d-loop and come and extend out to full draw.

If it's too loose, once we get hooked up, this release will actually come way out here.

Now, let's put it into play.

The first thing we want to do is make sure we nock an arrow, so we have our arrow placed

on our string.

I'm going to take my release, attach it to the d-loop, turn and address the target

and extend to full draw.

Now I'm in pretty much a set position, I'm going to find my trigger on my chin and use

my chin to futter the release, just like that.

Lance Shooting a Compound Bow with a Prosthetic - Duration: 2:47.

I shoot with a prosthetic arm, winds up being like shooting almost identical to the guy

with two hands, other than my release, it's just been modified just a little bit to fit

in the prosthetic.

The lighter the trigger you have, the better off you're going to be, the easier the shot's

going to be.

The easier it's going to be to make it fluid rather than punching.

So, my release, instead of being on a wrist strap or a handheld, it's mounted to a bracket.

This quick disconnect right here is very standard industry-wide for prosthetics.

What I like about this one is that it allows you to get 360-degree rotation.

So, this release is mounted rigid once it's plugged in here.

The only way I can get my rotation that I need to get my proper alignment on my jaw

bone is to have all these grooves here.

To ensure that I'm always on the same spot, or my release comes back the same way, I've

indexed the end of my prosthetic so that I just align the two marks and plug it in, and

then it's ready to go.

The shooting prosthetic is different than your everyday prosthetic.

For starters, this has no harness.

I get as much movement as I possibly can, especially inward.

I can't straighten the arm out because of the way the socket is built, and the elbow

comes up higher, which allows when I pull, the prosthetic doesn't move.

The other thing is my liner.

So, this liner slides over my arm, and then it has a locking pin on it, and then this

locking pin locks down into a mechanism in this prosthetic and once it's locked in,

it won't come off.

If you're going to do this, you definitely want to look at having a locking mechanism

on your prosthetic.

The shot's not going to look a ton different than anybody else shooting.

You just hook your arrow up and then hook the release up.

I've indexed my release so that I know that once I draw this back, it's not going to

turn on me, it's going to come and set on my jaw just like it needs to.

If you have a heavy trigger and you've got your head in position, you don't want to

move a whole bunch of this.

So if you have a real heavy trigger, you're going to have to really push on it or really

get that jawbone in there.

And with a light, not dangerous trigger, just a little bump with the jawbone and you're

in there.

Don't be scared to fail; I've done it a million times.

Eric Shooting a Compound Bow with a Shoulder Harness - Duration: 4:45.

Today I want to talk to you about using a shoulder harness or an adaptive release.

As you can see, I'm missing my right arm, and so to shoot my bow, I wear an arrow release

on my shoulder that I use to shoot my bow.

This right here is my shoulder harness.

A lot of the work I did myself, but depending on your skill level and your contacts, and

people that you know, you may want to get some of this made by maybe a machinist or

perhaps someone that is pretty handy.

The shell that you create does not necessarily have to be this big and bulky and strong it

just needs to be something that you can mount your release to and that fits comfortably

on your shoulder.

My shell is made out of fiberglass.

My dad and myself actually shaped fiberglass on my shoulder and then cut it out to fit.

The way that the shell fits on my shoulder is just like any type of shoulder pad, but

this fits on my shoulder.

What that does is it gives me a firm anchor point to mount my release.

You can see I have a strap here that I wear a belt that this secures to.

The release itself can be done numerous different ways.

This just happens to be the way that I did it.

So with our shell, my dad and I have a 5/16ths threaded stud sticking straight up that we

mount to.

On that, I have just a piece of aluminum bar stock and I have a standard Carter Lucky release

head.

Most trigger releases will work fine, however, I would avoid a caliper release.

The reason for that is a caliper release requires you to actually pull the trigger and open

the caliper to be able to clip on to the loop.

I prefer a hook style release so that I can make sure the hook is set and then I can just

hook it onto my loop without having to open or close the release.

The release trigger itself is attached to a cable, and this cable is called a camera

shutter cable.

You can get it from most online camera companies.

It has a thumb plunger when you buy it from them – you will have to modify it.

Take that thumb plunger off and then this piece right here I had sourced out to a company

that made basically a fancy clothespin.

When I bite on that, you can see there's a little bit of motion, that pulls the cable

inside and actually pulls the trigger.

I shoot right handed.

I put it on my left side so that my string on my right side of my face isn't interfering.

I put this on my left side, hook in, I draw back.

When I bite down on this, it's going to release this hook.

So full draw, I bite down, and that releases the hook.

The only other tricky parts of this whole set up is really just having the access to

the machines and the know-how to be able to make the aluminum bar, mount the release head,

mount the cable, etc.

Alright, I've got my harness on, you can see I've got my strap here attached, it's

anchored to this belt.

Also you can see on my back, I've got two straps that come down and attach to my belt.

That holds my release in position on my shoulder.

It doesn't have to be super firm, but you obviously don't want it sliding when you

go to draw your bow back.

My release is on an aluminum bar that I can kind of pivot so that it's out of my way

when I'm talking and doing things, but then it will pivot into position when I'm ready

to shoot.

I'm going to go ahead and shoot a shot here.

So, the first step to get ready for that is to put my bite lever in my mouth.

Again, I put it on my left side to keep it out of the way of where my bowstring is going

to be.

So this goes on my left side.

I can actually bite it right now and activate my trigger, and I usually do that just to

make sure that my trigger is safe, so I'm actually going to release it and then reset

it.

I'm just want to release it and then reset it and make sure that it's clipped in and

ready to go.

Next to this stage right here I'll go ahead and nock an arrow, bring the loop up to my

hook, hook in, and at that point I'll expand and pull the string back.

When I'm aimed and ready I'll bite down on the bite lever, which will release the

string.

Russian Lawyer Comes Forward With UNDENIABLE Proof That Mueller's Probe is POINTLESS - Duration: 3:57.

Russian Lawyer Comes Forward With UNDENIABLE Proof That Mueller's Probe is POINTLESS.

It's been well over a year and Mueller's so-called "Russia" probe has produced

ZERO evidence of collusion and Mueller's latest move of raiding the office of Trump's

personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, shows the investigation has completely gone off the

rails.

Another blow to Mueller's investigation has come from Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya,

who famously met with Donald Trump Jr. to provide dirt on Hillary Clinton in 2016 and

is now blasting Mueller for not contacting her.Could it be because Veselnitskaya was

linked to Fusion GPS and will lead Mueller back to Hillary?

From The Daily Wire

It's been a year since he was empowered to investigate anything he deemed related

to the Russia matter, yet Special Counsel Robert Mueller still hasn't bothered to

speak with the person at the center of the most widely reported event that had even a

hint of that elusive "collusion" that Donald Trump's critics have been trying

to pin on him since he traumatically canceled Hillary Clinton's coronation.

The failure to contact her, says Natalia Veselnitskaya, is evidence that Mueller "is not working

to discover the truth."

In an interview with the Associated Press, Veselnitskaya, a "well-connected" Russian

lawyer who famously met with Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort in June

2016 after promises of dirt on Hillary Clinton, said Mueller has yet to contact her about

the widely reported meeting in which she discussed rolling back Russian sanctions.

"At the time of her 2016 meeting at Trump Tower, she was defending Prevezon against

charges it had engaged in money laundering from a $230 million Russian tax fraud scheme,"

AP explains.

Team Trump has dismissed allegations that the meeting constituted "collusion" with

Russia.

While the Senate Intelligence Committee spoke with Veselnitskaya in Berlin for three hours

about the meeting, Mueller's team seems conspicuously uninterested in what she has

to say.

AP's report reveals some reasons that Mueller might not be anxious to talk with her: She

made clear in her testimony to the Senate committee that she was not working for the

Russian government and that she believes the notorious unverified and salacious Steele

dossier on Trump is "absolute nonsense": The investigators mainly wanted to know about

Trump Tower meeting, she said.

Veselnitskaya said she repeated her previous statements about it, insisting that she was

not linked to the Russian government and merely wanted to discuss sanctions against Russia.

Veselnitskaya's said the Berlin interview also focused on information in memos compiled

by a former British spy whose work was funded by the Democratic National Committee and Clinton's

campaign.

The dossier contains numerous allegations of Russian ties to Trump, his associates and

the Trump campaign.

Veselnitskaya dismissed the dossier as "absolute nonsense."

She insisted that Glenn Simpson, whose firm Fusion GPS was hired to compile the dossier

and who was questioned by the House Intelligence Committee in January, had been "framed."

AP also admits to readers that the one investigation that has actually reached a conclusion about

the Trump-Russia collusion allegation has "found no evidence of collusion or coordination

with Russians."AP also admits to readers that the one investigation that has actually

reached a conclusion about the Trump-Russia collusion allegation has "found no evidence

of collusion or coordination with Russians."

Though Mueller doesn't appear to be planning on dialing her up anytime soon, Veselnitskaya

suggested she's more than willing "to explain things that may seem odd" or about

which the feds "have suspicions

Trump Is SICK Of The Lies, Just FORCIBLY Removed The Richest Man In America From 'His House' - Duration: 12:54.

Trump Is SICK Of The Lies, Just FORCIBLY Removed The Richest Man In America From 'His House'

One of the reasons an overwhelming amount of Americans picked Donald Trump as our president

is he because he makes no apologies for the things he says and does no matter who it offends.

After eight years of lame duck leadership, it's refreshing to have a powerhouse in

the White House and incredibly satisfying when he pisses off rich people who have gotten

a little too comfortable and think they have all the control and don't like the fact

that Trump is in charge now.

When you're as rich as Trump is and focused on making America great again, you don't

care about other people's money who try to bribe you with it.

President Barack Obama was quick to take in other people's cash and his presidency proved

to be very profitable for him since this former community organizer moved out of the White

House and into a multi-million dollar estate after just two years on $400,000 per year

president's salary.

The game has all changed with Trump in charge now who stuck it to one of his biggest and

richest detractors who showed up to his golf course and tried to throw his weight around

and got humiliated with a painful boot in the behind.

The list is long of people who think they're in power and hate that Trump is, after they

tried their hardest to keep him out of the White House and still lost.

Despite their best efforts and wads of cash to detract him from his goal, he won anyway

and is laughing every day that he's still their president, especially now that he just

got the opportunity to stick it to two men who led the charge against him, when they

decided to spend the afternoon at Trump's private golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida,

which has also been affectionately dubbed the "Winter White House."

Heading off the effort to prevent Trump from becoming president was the billionaire Koch

brothers who love amnesty and are big supporters of free trade — two things Trump is avidly

against.

Charles and David Koch opposed Trump during the Republican primary season and refused

to help him during the general election, as Breitbart reports and they happen to have

a close friendship with Harry Hurt III, who wrote a slanderous book about Trump in 1993

that brimmed with disgusting rape accusations about the wealthy businessman who is now the

president of the United States.

Hoping to partake in a little rest and relaxation, David Koch and Hurt planned a day-long retreat

at Trump's exclusive golf resort which was suddenly cut short when Trump found out they

were there.

In perfectly humiliating fashion, Trump instructed management to remove the pair from his property

and told them they weren't welcome back – ever.

Being escorted out had to be one of the most embarrassing moments for these billionaire

buddies in the presence of other rich people there enjoying their pricey membership, which

Koch and pals don't get to be a part of.

Trump proved that their money isn't important to him and no price can fix how stupid these

two look after earning this karma when they went against their own party to protect the

political establishment.

Koch Brothers

The sudden removal from ritzy golf resorts has become a theme since Trump took office,

starting with the former golfer-in-chief, Barack Obama, who also got the boot under

the most satisfying circumstances for conservatives.

Prissy Holly previously reported on the humiliating event for Barack who was ousted by other members

who don't have to deal with him now that he's a private citizen:

Throughout his presidency, the Rockville Woodmont Country Club has given Obama a membership

at their prestigious club free of charge, waiving the insane $80,000 initiation fee

and yearly membership dues of almost $10,000.

But after Obama's recent disgusting treatment towards Israel with his backing of the United

Nations' plan to give Israeli land to Palestinian terrorists, many Jewish members are raising

absolute hell, demanding that Obama be thrown the hell out of their club on his ear.

"In light of the votes at the UN and the Kerry speech and everything else, there's

this major uproar with having him part of the club, and a significant portion of the

club has opposed offering him membership," a source told The New York Post.

Obama was looking to join the elite Woodmont Country Club in Maryland as a private citizen,

but was swiftly denied access by members of the mostly Jewish club where many insisted

that he deserved to be snubbed for not blocking an anti-Israel vote at the United Nations.

It's the perfect dose of karma this arrogant man had coming since he loves himself as much

as he loves golf and got shot in the gut with this brutal reality check.

Trump Just RAINED DOWN HELL on Pro-Obama FBI Agents

BREAKING NEWS: President Donald Trump just stunned the nation with a major move–and

the Democrats are panicking.

The president is finally calling out Obama holdovers in the FBI who sought to protect

Hillary Clinton.

Trump implied Tuesday that the FBI used the infamous Steele dossier as the basis for "going

after" his 2016 presidential campaign staff.

The fake dossier, which Buzzfeed published in January 2017, apparently draw links between

members of the Trump campaign and the Russian government.

The dossier also included salacious (and false) claims about the president's alleged sexual

habits and was assembled by an ex-British spy named Christopher Steele.

Washington D.C. based opposition research firm Fusion GPS arranged the dossier, which

was originally funded by the Washington Free Beacon during the Republican presidential

primary.

The Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee then assumed responsibility for

the dossier's funding throughout the remainder of the election.

The federal investigation into possible collusion with the Russian government did not begin

until after the Democratic party began funding the dossier.

The FBI is said to have used the dossier as the basis for probing possible collusion between

the Trump campaign and the Russian government.

The dossier was also reportedly used by the FBI as evidence to obtain a warrant against

former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.

Bottom line: There is clearly a witch hunt against Trump in the federal government, including

within the FBI.

Are you FED UP with Obama holdovers in Washington, DC attempting to sabotage the president?

Attorney General Jeff Sessions Caught Trying to Take Down Trump – PAYS THE ULTIMATE PRICE - Duration: 13:46.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions Caught Trying to Take Down Trump – PAYS THE ULTIMATE PRICE

BREAKING: Jeff Sessions just betrayed Donald Trump and the GOP, but it won't end well

for him.

Over the past year, it's become clear that Jeff Sessions is an incredibly inept Attorney

General.

This was reinforced once again this week when Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck

Grassley ripped into Sessions for launching a pre-emptive strike on his criminal justice

bill.

Politico reported that the legislation, which Grassley has been working on for two years,

is expected to be approved by the committee today.

However, Sessions just wrote a letter warning that the bipartisan proposal "risks putting

the very worst criminals back into our communities."

"It's Senator Sessions talking, not a person whose job it is to execute law, and

quite frankly I'm very incensed," Grassley responded.

Grassley went on to say that what Sessions "doesn't recognize here, and why I'm

incensed about it is, look at how hard it was for me to get him through committee in

the United States Senate.

And look at, when the president was going to fire him, I went to his defense."

He added that "all kinds of" potentially polarizing Justice Department nominees who

have proved "very difficult to get through the United States Senate" have also landed

in his lap as chief of the influential Judiciary Committee.

"If he wanted to do this," Grassley said of Sessions, "he should have done what people

suggested to him before: resign from attorney general and run for the Senate in Alabama

again.

We'd have a Republican senator."

Grassley was referring to the fact that Democrat Doug Jones won the special election against

Republican Roy Moore to replace the Senate seat left vacated by Sessions.

"Incensed by Sessions letter An attempt to undermine Grassley/Durbin/Lee BIPARTISAN

criminal justice reforms This bill deserves thoughtful consideration b4 my cmte.

AGs execute laws CONGRESS WRITES THEM!"

Grassley wrote on Twitter.
