USA news on Youtube Apr 14 2018

hi this is trip well welcome to my channel this is retired guy USA I'm nearly

67 67 years old it's hard to believe this is just a retirement hobby and not

trying to make any money since it's gotten hard to do anyway with the recent

changes to to YouTube and to Facebook but trying to make some short videos

here like like a to a week as my goal I'll be talking about news current

events the economy culture politics that kind of thing well I was 35 years a US

government financial analyst and I grew up on a farm working really hard I

played in three I guess three really good rock and roll bands and in my

lifetime just you know for fun well I played six nights a week when I was

getting my MBA in accounting but I'm not just the boring accountant I'm also

boring and other things I have a BA in European history there are very few

people on my age they're on social media when you see the video you know I guess

you'll understand why in case you don't already know well I have a lot of life

experiences naturally having lived all this time and I've seen a lot of people

with a whole lot of problems you know including close relatives and of course

some family members like you know everybody has problems but I've seen

like in my circle of friends and an extended family divorce bankruptcy big

debts a couple of suicides divorce all of it so I hope maybe my experiences

might save somebody some trouble but anyway I'm going to show you one thing

here just to show you that really was once young in photogenic this is my high

school graduation picture my hair was a little bit longer and the

assistant principal made me cut it so I said no well sir I play in a band I got

a head bit long I said well not here you need to get a cut Sonny so I did

naturally back then we did but our teachers told us to do you can see that

was a kind of photogenic I think so thank you now new to social media I've

never been on YouTube or Facebook or Twitter or anything else so it's a

learning experience I don't know anything about editing last time I owned

a camera was was a quarter century ago I understand there been some changes to

technology since then I don't know anything about a Google hangout I'm

skyping and livestream but it's something that I think I would like to

do you know even just skyping one on one that sound like it might be fun anyway

though that's a little bit about me trip it's how I got USA and I hope that

you'll comment if you're so inclined on the videos and share them with your

friends and please watch the videos maybe you'll subscribe to anyway

hi this is trip this is my new page for patreon it's called

retired guy USA was just a retirement hobby I don't intend to make any money

from it especially with the recent changes to send the social media like

YouTube and Facebook it's hard to do that I understand so you know forget

that as to suggest for fun it'd be nice to make some some living expenses from

it one day but I don't see that happening anyhow so I'm gonna make short

videos I hope I like maybe three to five minutes or six minutes two videos a week

it'll be about news economy culture and politics the usual thing 35 I was 35

rounded education of BA in European history well there are very few people

that are my age on social media and of course watching this you'll understand

why but I do have a lot of life experience or not just myself

but among others with other people to things they've gone through a lot of

problems in my extended family and even closer relatives I've had issues like

I've seen people with that with big debts and that have gone bankrupt

dementia alcoholism drug abuse the whole range of things divorce all of it so

maybe I can save somebody some some trouble and heartache based on my

knowledge of what they all went through but I do want to show you that I was

young once this is my high school graduation picture I had to cut my hair

for this actually the assistant principal made me do it to graduate and

I said well you know I need my long hair because I play in a band and he said

well no you need to cut your hair so I did but then we kind of did what our

what our betters toast to hope you can see it okay so I was young okay I'm new

to social media I've never been on YouTube or Facebook or Twitter any of

that stuff I have to learn everything about it I'm about video and so on I

left I last bought a camera 25 years ago so this is I understand there been a lot

of changes to the technology and everything since since a quarter century

ago know anything about editing I have to learn all this stuff it'd be nice to

learn about about Google Hangouts and skyping and live-streaming skyping with

people one on one pick someone out that'd be kind of fun I think I need a

little herd of tough this first of all patreon seems like an

interesting concept you have goals and rewards well I don't really feel I have

anything to reward anybody with right now but it would be nice to learn about

this later and Lucky's a weekly so a week ago I didn't even really know that

patreon existed so I'm gonna I'm doing this video for that for that own page

and see how it goes hope you will comment about videos that

you'll share them with others and especially that you'll watch them so
