USA news on Youtube Apr 11 2018

We're joining you from Valent USA's mid-south agriculture resource center in Leland Mississippi.

Where we strive to bring the best crop protection solutions to growers like you.

As you know, the best way to control resistant weeds is through multiple modes of action.

Using something like the RoundUp Ready Xtend Crop System that utilizes advanced Dicamba

and Glyphosate tolerate traits can go a long way.

But to get a clean start, its important to also add a pre-emergence herbicide with an

additional effective mode of action.

There are a lot of choices on the shelf and you want the product to not only effectively

control problem weeds, but be easy to use.

Valor EZ doesn't have to be pre-slurried and the concentrated formula reduces the number

of jugs in your warehouse.

Today we're going to take a look at how the combination of liquid Valor EZ herbicide

and Mauler herbicide from Valent stay in suspension versus Authority MTZ when tank mixed in with

RoundUp PowerMax herbicide and XtendiMax herbicide with vapor grip technology.

You'll see we have two beakers set up to simulate the tank mixing in your spray system.

On the right we're adding Authority MTZ and on your left we have a combination of

liquid Valor EZ and Mauler, Valent's new metribuzin based herbicide.

Next, we're adding RoundUp PowerMax herbicide to each one of our test beakers and then we'll

follow that up by adding the XtendiMax herbicide with vapor grip technology.

Next we'll activate the stirrers in the beakers to get the products into suspension

and we'll let both of our combinations mix for a total of five minutes to make sure they

are fully agitated.

After the mixing is complete, we'll turn off the stirrers and let them sit for 15 minutes

to simulate how these products would settle in a spray tank, giving you a look at how

each product stays in suspension.

While this 15 minutes passes, you'll want to focus at the bottom of each beaker.

Now that 15 minutes has passed, lets see our results.

You'll notice that the Authority MTZ has fallen out of suspension with a noticeable

amount of sediment gathering at the bottom of the beaker.

Meanwhile on the left, the combination of Mauler herbicide and a liquid formulation

of Valor EZ stays in suspension with a uniformed concentration throughout the mix.

That uniformed concentration of herbicide helps ensure an even distribution of the product

through your spray system.

Notice the consistency as we pour the mixture through a filter.

A smooth even application means reduced clogging in your spray nozzles.

It can also save you considerable time when cleaning your tank.

The easy to use formulation makes Valor EZ the ideal residual partner in a RoundUp Ready

extend crop system and can help deliver four to six weeks residual control over tough weeds

like waterhemp and palmer amaranth.

Middle East analyst at the International Institute for Strategic Studies in

London said that air strikes will not alter the trajectory of the Assad regime

he said airstrikes may make things worse there might be a narrow self-satisfying

strike but as long as there is no bigger perspective or broader strategy for the

whole conflict it may just fuel escalation without meeting any objective

and he concluded the time for intervention has passed thanks for watch

After Trump Plays Hardball With China, Their President Makes A Sudden Announcement - Duration: 3:29.

In Donald Trump, we have a President who really knows how to negotiate.

Past presidents were wimpy.

They let foreign powers walk all over them.

But President Trump is a cunning businessman and leader.

He doesn't mess around.

That's especially true when it comes to the matter of trade deals.

During his campaign, he made it clear that the U.S. was losing big.

That was thanks to bad deals like NAFTA and the TPP.

He vowed to change the game when elected.

And boy has he.

He recently hit China with serious tariffs.

The goal was to make American goods more competitive.

Critics railed against the move—mostly because they are crooked globalists.

Some claimed China would retaliate, although Trump insisted he and the Chinese president

were friends.

It looks like, once again, Trump has been proven right.

From Fox News:

China's President Xi Jinping appeared to strike a conciliatory tone during a speech

Tuesday where he promised to cut China's auto import tariffs and ease restrictions

on foreign ownership in its auto industry as tensions play out with Washington over

tariffs.

Xi made no direct mention of the dispute with President Donald Trump but pledged to open

China's markets further and improve conditions for foreign companies.

He warned against having a "Cold War" mentality, which he called outdated, according

to Bloomberg…

"We will take the initiative to expand imports," Xi said during his keynote speech at the opening

of the Boao Forum for Asia, China Plus News reported.

"China does not seek trade surplus; we have a genuine desire to increase imports and achieve

greater balance of international payments under the current account," he said.

Trump's critics vowed that China would go after us because of the tariffs.

They would hit us with all kinds of penalties, making American businesses suffer.

This was all grandstanding, of course.

The people criticizing Trump were devoted globalists.

They want to damage the U.S. economy by giving other nations an unfair advantage.

Both liberals and conservatives do this.

Trump has always promised to put Americans first.

That means working to create a trade environment that's fair for all.

President Xi's words seem to echo this sentiment.

He wants to be able to have a good relationship with the United States.

Hitting us with retaliatory tariffs would only hamper China's ability to thrive.

Currently, China hits imported cars (like those made in the U.S.) with a whopping 25%

tariff, that's 10% on customs and a 15% auto tax.

There is an additional 10% tax on luxury vehicles.

If you lived in China, would you pay those extra taxes to buy an American car?

Of course not.

Those tariffs were meant to encourage Chinese citizens to buy locally-made autoss.

But if China wants to encourage trade with the U.S. and other countries, lowering that

tariff is a good start.

This is also a sign that the Chinese president isn't a cold-minded enemy—as some pundits

seem to think.

He is willing to cooperate with President Trump so that all parties are happy.

That might lead to better trade deals that end China's habitual IP theft and trade

imbalance.

Perhaps more companies move back to the United States.

Maybe, in short order, more of our products will have the label "Made in the U.S.A."

once again.
